Loving My Bundutec Awning... . A significant and long rain event was coming, so I experimented with backing up my @xventuretrailers XV-2 so my @bundutecusa Bunduawn 360 awning would just cover the fire pit when deployed. Added two Bundutec triangle extensions to the HD hook and loop and set up some poles to better secure everything for the storm. That gave me a sixteen foot wide square end by twenty-four feet long on the galley side, all under cover. Kept the fire going all through it and stayed up to the wee hours further experimenting with small Native American style fires. Really worked out quite well, I thought. Even the rangers who stopped by were impressed. . Had to dig a few drainage ditches to divert the immense amounts of water that wanted to come through camp and under my wood pile, but kept my wood, Sondors bike, chairs, and all my other gear dry. Smoke wasn’t bad at all, either. . Successful experiment on what could have been an otherwise miserable full moon night. I’ll do this kind of thing for hours on end, loving every minute of it. . All lighting in this image is from the pods on my Ready Lights, placed around camp as needed. . #bunduawn #offroad #offgrid #rainevent #bigrain #rain #camping #vanlife #camplife #campiswhereyouparkit #homeiswhereyouparkit #liveauthentic #ontheroad #nomad #nomadlife #vagabonding #xventure #adventure #explorer #overlandgear #overland #expedition #adventurist #exploretocreate #optoutside #getoutandexplore #rainynight #myoutdoors #naturelovers #noservicenoproblem

How would I run a challenge to advertise my value crowdfunding effort?
It is inescapable with each crowdfunding effort to see your traffic recurring pattern. One way organizations have had the option to keep getting eyeballs on their crusade is to make a Social Contest that helps increment your locale commitment and get individuals to your StartEngine page.
It would be ideal if you remember whether you are going to run a social challenge before your crusade is live, you are not the slightest bit ready to state or suggest that you will lead a Regulation Crowdfunding raise later on. To study what you can and can't state don't hesitate to allude to this article.
What is a social challenge?
A social challenge is a unimaginably amazing asset that boosts clients to take activities that advantage your organization with "Sections" (i.e.- "Like" your Facebook page, tail you on Twitter, or pursue your StartEngine crusade) to win a prize. There are various sites that will do this for you, yet the one we like and have incorporated into our stage is Gleam.io.
When setting up a challenge, you can choose which activities you need clients to take and Gleam, or a tantamount administration, will follow ALL of the various communications and keep record of what number of sections every client has aggregated. Hence, you can boost clients to take the activities that outcome in the best transformations.
Advantages of Running a Social Contest
1) Helps you fabricate a network, agreeably, even before you dispatch!
One of the greatest difficulties you will face showcasing your battle is that the guidelines don't allow you to discuss your raise AT ALL before it is live. How are you expected to gotten down to business in the event that you aren't ready to pitch PR organizations or prime your current network?
A social challenge is an incredible route for you to build your system by giving a prize that will enable you to get email addresses, increment your internet based life impression, and spread brand mindfulness. We exceptionally suggest running a social challenge even before you dispatch since it will expand the span of your locale. Consequently when you connect with your base about your raise once your crusade is live, there are increasingly potential financial specialists primed and ready.
Professional Tip
You begin a social challenge before the crusade is live, choosing Actions that help grow your own locale commitment (for example like us on Facebook and Instagram, Enter your Email, Tweet about us... and so on.) Then, when your StartEngine crusade is live, you can include another Action that requires the client to "Pursue Your StartEngine Campaign " and gauge that Action WAY more than any of different alternatives. Not exclusively will this at that point make it significantly more engaging do this greater activity, however it will likewise enable you to connect with the current clients you obtained from the challenge, telling them another approach to win more passages has been opened.
2) Incentivizes your current network to connect considerably further
You can gauge activities distinctively to boost the clients to connect with and help spread and develop your online nearness. Consequently, you can exploit your systems that are increasingly effective and develop on them by making the activity all the more speaking to clients.
For instance - If you have an enormous and vivacious organization Facebook page, however a littler, less utilized Twitter account, you can make it with the goal that somebody gets 1 section on the off chance that they tail you on Twitter, yet 2 passages if the "like" you on Facebook". This will make it with the goal that more individuals will probably "Like" you on Facebook which you have seen be a progressively connected with network.
3) Easy to promote
When you are a startup with little brand acknowledgment, it is a lot simpler to get your foot in the entryway by giving an encounter or a prize that, paying little respect to whether they know your organization, he/she will get amped up for. You would then be able to utilize focused on Facebook advertisements, or other promotion purchases, to drive traffic explicitly to your challenge. The more eyeballs you jump on your challenge, the more individuals who are probably going to connect with your organization and the more prominent the open door you should change over them into financial specialists.
4) Has the ability to get the correct individuals in your system
Regardless of whether the general population who draw in with your social challenge have never known about your organization, on the off chance that you have a convincing prize, custom-made to the individuals who may like your organization, you can make a system of individuals who are bound to be effectively amped up for the speculation opportunity.
For instance - If you are an organization that sells canine toys. You are going to 1) make a prize that canine/creature proprietors would love and 2) market and post the prize to all significant creature web journals, channels, discussions, sites. The general population who originate from those posts will probably be substantially more focused on and with comparative interests to your organization mission, than some other gathering.
The Importance of a Good Prize
Picking a convincing prize is legitimately identified with the achievement of a social challenge. A definitive objective of running a challenge is to expand your very own locale, to direct people to your StartEngine battle and convert these guests into financial specialists.
There are various inquiries you should pose to yourself when thinking about offering a prize:
Would they be able to get this themselves on the web? It is imperative to give a prize that somebody can't simply buy themselves. Truly, individuals love tech devices or football tickets, yet it is significantly progressively incredible to offer an encounter they can't go anyplace else.
Is it legitimately identified with your item/administration? You need to choose a prize that will help draw in individuals who you think could later change over into speculators. Accordingly, the more focused on you can make the prize itself, the almost certain they will be to be keen on your advertising.
Okay post to your own locale to win the prize? In the event that your answer is no, you should think about an alternate prize... On the off chance that you wouldn't post without anyone else Facebook about the prize, what are the odds that somebody who doesn't realize your organization would do it? You need the prize to get individuals so eager to get familiar with your identity that they need to remain locked in.

It must have a grip so the whole of this globe can quiver. The organization opted for sharp angles and flat surfaces instead of the conventional curves. There's solid tech below the epidermis, too.
The Vegas project would likewise require two side-by-side tunnels instead of simply one, together with stations, passenger access, and ventilation systems. The trucking sector is quite conservative, he explained. Las Vegas has a lot of competitors in the space, especially when it has to do with autonomous vehicles.
No, it's not one of the world's fastest cars but it's close. Hub motors have a couple advantages in comparison with the increasingly-popular mid-drive motors appearing on other kinds of e-bikes. As a result, the very first cars are likely to reservation holders working at SpaceX or at Tesla.

E-Bike Maker Sondors Plans Stylish $10,000 Three-Wheeled EV
–
Storm Sondors doesn’t like driving.
–
And yet he’s behind an ambitious project to build a $10,000 electric car through a company bearing his name. During Sondors Electric Car Company’s inaugural press conference at the Los Angeles auto show—just outside the exhibition hall in a space that had formerly been occupied by troubled Elio Motors—the CEO expressed his sentiments about driving and didn’t mince words about how he feels about the automotive industry as a whole. “I hate industries; I hate tradition,” he declared, at an event that’s very much an industry tradition.
–
If you don’t think his approach will get the company very far, well, it has worked in the past. Sondors is a crowdfunding success story; he launched a successful electric-bicycle company after, he claims, raising $12 million via Kickstarter and Indiegogo. It is now one of the largest e-bike makers in the United States, stating it has sold more than 30,000 of its electrified fat-tire bikes here and in 40 other countries.
–
As with his e-bikes, in a plan typical of automotive startups, he’s hoping to deliver cars directly to customers without traditional dealerships. Sondors also said the company is looking for customers who have a DIY mindset: The car is being engineered so that owners will be able to do the vast majority of fixes themselves using a simple kit of seven tools—a useful skill given the lack of dealership service. (The company will be able to do remote diagnostics for powertrain issues.)
–
–
Sondors’s car is perhaps the best-looking of the current batch of three-wheeled vehicles that take advantage of a federal loophole classifying them effectively (in most states) as motorcycles. That includes the Polaris Slingshot, the Elio E1, the Electra Meccanica Solo, the Arcimoto FUV, and even the Toyota i-Road. “Electric has to look cool. It can’t go cheap, it can’t look cheesy, it can’t look goofy,” Sondors said.
–
From Happy Meals to (Fast) Trikes
–
Sondors said his design background is part of what compelled him to make the car. His success with the e-bike and a desire to make electric transportation available to the masses were other considerations. Prior to e-bikes, the Latvia-born Sondors designed radio-controlled vehicles and at one point designed McDonald’s Happy Meal toys. “A lot of people don’t know that McDonald’s is the largest toy company in the world,” he pointed out.
–
–
The toy work taught him how to take something very complex and break it down into something simpler and separate out the gimmicks, Sondors said. “When I look around here [gesturing out to the show floor], it’s all gimmicks.”
–
Sondors said he has tried hard to omit the gimmicks and to use off-the-shelf components wherever possible. The car will use 3500-milliamp-hour (mAh) Panasonic cells in the 18650 format—just as in the Tesla Model S and Model X—with versions differing in capacity for a 75-, 150-, or 200-mile driving range. He said design work was done through Italy’s Torino Design, and U.K. company Protean Electric provided the PD18 in-wheel motor (because he’s familiar with them via e-bikes). About 150 people have worked on specific tasks for the car, but the company has just 10 employees in Santa Monica, Sondors told us.
–
The company plans to take the same approach with production and is looking at a company in Italy for the initial round of production but may end up keeping it local in California for the first 1000 to 2000 units, according to Sondors.
–
Fun, Even If You Don’t Like Driving?
–
Sondors sounded passionate about his car, despite his professed aversion to driving. Which may be why Sondors seemed downright apologetic about one point: “It still has a steering wheel; hopefully sooner or later we can lose that, because I hate driving,” he said. “The faster we get to autonomous the better.”
–
-He has an offbeat plan for that, too. With so many suppliers and automakers doing the same development simultaneously, he predicted that the costs of plug-and-play sensors, actuators, and components are going to come down fast, especially for a trike that may only need to use some of the passenger-car system.
–
–
The current driving prototype cost about $1 million to build, Sondors said. The next step for the company, after its current $2 million fundraising to build a production-bound prototype, will be a $20 million push for tooling and production.
–
The more time you spend around Sondors, the more he impresses as the polar opposite of Paul Elio, who has taken his company on a very different route to create an affordable, efficient three-wheeled quasi-car. Sonders sees his outsider status as a badge of authenticity, while Elio wants to be taken seriously by the automotive establishment. However, even with the relatively easier regulatory path that Sondors faces with a three-wheeled vehicle, the founder’s belief that he can merely upsize some of the decisions made for his $500 e-bikes can sound more than a little naive.

E-Bike-Hersteller Sondors kündigt Markteintritt in Deutschland an
