There is not much News coming out of Iran.

@bellamonde @aftabkaran are not active. @edentheactivist 's Tumblr got deactivated. Previously, they used to post regular Updates regarding the situation and developments in Iran.

Probably Internet is completely shut down.

I need to go to bed soon, but I just wanted to come on here, and say thank you to everyone for blowing this up.

As of right now, Arvin Netanel ben Sonia’s (or as he’s also known, Netanel ben Ziona Ghahremani) execution date appears to be set for Monday, so there may still be time. Please reblog, and spread his story to other platforms too if you can.

Even if they go through with the execution, please do not stop. Remember and spread his name, and the names of all others who have suffered and lost their lives, or the lives of their loved ones, at the hands of the Iranian regime.

So, I recently learned about the “say their names to save their lives” campaign on social media that has helped Iranians sentenced to die by the regime in the past.

I am now asking you guys for help with that again.

There is an Iranian Jew named Arvin Netanel ben Siona, whose execution date is set for this Saturday. The Iranian Jewish community have tried endlessly to pursue his release, but to no avail.

Please spread his name.

Child Bride Executed in Iran

I don't know if anyone talked about this when it happened, but friendly reminder that the Islamic Republic executed a child bride by hanging not too long ago. Samira Sabzian was married at age 15 and subjected to domestic abuse; she was arrested at age 19 for allegedly murdering her husband. She's left behind two small children, one of whom was an infant when she was arrested.

Some distressing stats about child marriage in Iran:

At least 27,448 girls under the age of 15 in Iran married in 2022 alone - you know, the same year when Mahsa Amini was killed.

In recent years, targeted efforts have been made to reduce the age of marriage for girls and encourage families to facilitate the marriage of their daughters.

One in five marriages involves minors, girls allowed to marry as young as 13. 

As usual, though, the world will be silent about this tragedy.
