shoutout to my supervisor though. I started eating my lunch at my desk and he appeared remarkably quickly and was like "how are you doing taking breaks? i know when i started i often found it hard to take breaks." like ok that's...not subtle but thank you nonetheless

Though I'm certain he knows how much it will sting.#This might be official somewhere - but I personally believe that LWJ made the stop in Yiling to run into WWX to share the news.#Three days feels like a remarkable short time to tell someone about a wedding...though I imagine this wasn't LWJ's first attempt.#Maybe he delayed because he felt like it was not his news to share. Maybe he tried for weeks to find him.#Regardless...ouchie! A fun reminder that Jiang Yanli still means a lot to WWX even if he did cut ties with Yunmeng Jiang.#How many stabs to the heart did this feel like? To not be invited at all? To know she's marrying someone you fear will treat her poorly?#To know that the world and people you left behind haven't stayed stagnent. did a little sketch yesterday that i really liked and tried to get it done today just so i got literally anything to post- but i fell into the trap of 'making sketches to elaborate and thus really stiff and non fun' (for me), ... soooooo .. im redoing the whole thing
but the idea was a mummy ganondorf for my (yes still existing) totk rewrite; i wanted to make him more scary looking and also emphasize just how horrid it must be to be kept in between life and death by having your heart grabbed by a cold and vengeful magical hand for thousands of years (in this case the ancient queen .. which i also tried to sketch despite not showing up aside from her dissolving hand)
the spell starting to fail and his body being more damaged in some parts (jaw being only the bones left for example) and his chest open from being slowly eaten up by the queens magic, the ribs contorting around it like its a gravitational pull- sounds cooler than it looks bc this sketch did not work out, so im saving the details for the .. hopefully, better version

Okay but the thing about veilguard reviews is I don’t care what the gaming review sites think. I especially don’t care what some random ytuber who’s probably just grifting right wing nutjobs for easy money and has never actually played the games before thinks. I don’t even care what an unrelated but accomplished rpg dev thinks
The only opinions I want to hear are from 7 trustworthy sickos (affectionate) who had their brain chemistry permanently altered over a decade ago by critically hated yet loved by me specifically video game Dragon Age 2, and only after I hear those opinions will I decide if I’m buying it or not

It is the power of realizing that things have changed.#We can't get the good back. The bad memories have concluded. Those live somewhere else now.#It is hard to realize that you have to live for today and tomorrow. The past is so loud.#For WWX it is realizing that despite the mistrust in the past - He really does have faith that LWJ will be there for him.#It is the reflection of knowing that you changed and will keep changing and that change is good and kind sometimes.#But more importantly...and this I really do mean with all my heart:#It will all end up okay in the end. Even after the worst day. The most painful losses. You will get through it.#What feels like a breaking point is truthfully just another step you have to take. #my characters#i missed her so much wowee#her name is katale and thats what she goes by EXCEPT her best friend (and ex boyfriend and boss) who gets to call her kitty#hes just like the all around best guy in her life and she loves him a whole lot#and even though they broke up they have a very loving friendship and shes like#oh i would absolutely kill for him and in fact i am VERY good at killing im honing my skills :3#and her family is actually just a bunch of criminals and the only reason the other guy gets involved#is bc he needs fast money to help his mom with hospital bills and so hes like hey my mom doesnt need to know how shes alive#and then he somehow becomes head honcho and is a rumored to be ruthless man#but hes just incredibly level headed and able to think his way up (and kills a few unpleasant family members for kitty)#and if shes running out and about you can even hear him say shit like#my wife left me i miss my wife#and everyone knows he means katale but no one knows how to react bc its clearly a joke (???) since they broke up#but no one is telling their boss to elaborate the wife situation#kitty however is the entire reason that she gets this lil puppy of an agent to not kill rudyard her dear boss#and somehow they adopt this grown man and also his really weird mentor who faked their death#but they love their puppy son boy agent man#and kitty is super happy to dote on the agent but even she has her lines like WHY DID YOU JUST HAND HIM A GUN#RUDYARD HE TRIED TO KILL YOU LIKE LAST MONTH WHAT ARE YOU DOING#and rudyard is just ??? can i NOT shove a gun into his hands now? what is that? a crime? really? gonna tell on me? a criminal? for crimes?#but genuinely it stresses her out bc she loves her adopted son but loves her best friend and eventually she realizes#ok puppy agent man is loyal to them but not a criminal thats ok#while rudyard is like ... passing him guns to try out as a bonding thing#but also he is fascinated with how good the agents aim is like hey kitty you should watch how far he can shoot perfectly#hey kitty remember all those dead underlings and how precise their kills were to make them not suffer this guy is really good#also for what its worth ruds mom is still alive! shes just in a nursing home now and he goes to visit her#kitty and rudyard have such a fun dynamic to me and both are murderers but its okay (its not)#also kitty likes anime and she has forced rud to watch anime with her and he just accepts his fate#bc it makes kitty happy to share so he will watch to make her happy even if he doesnt understand all the appeal

i don’t think it is humanly possible for the Robby-Johnny relationship to be as good as the writers want me to believe it currently is going, but i also don’t think it’s going half as bad as people on here or on reddit say it is, so it is incredibly challenging for me to find posts I agree with about them anywhere
#robby keene#johnny lawrence#cobra kai#like sorry it just wasn’t hard for me to buy that johnny was being more supportive of Robby than Miguel at the tournament#we saw him more upset when he lost Robby than Miguel in the scene where johnny loses the locker room#we hear him yelling it’s okay robby multiple times when Robby flops#in the first fight and the platform fight#them hugging when Robby beats kwon#him defending Robby to Miguel on the plane him going specifically after Robby in the brawl#them living together a lot of the time now#them having a good summer together#johnny clearly still putting in the work despite being given a clean slate w a new baby#like i find it very believable that he gave Robby a pep talk or two lol#it would be nice to see it and i wish we did but it’s just not a stretch to me#it makes perfect sense that Robby doesn’t improve til someone on the actual team backs him as a leader#the break for me is i don’t believe that Robby isn’t still mad or slightly mean to his dad anymore#like he needs to be shitty to johnny onscreen one more time and johnny needs to take it#and then I could buy that they are getting to the point the show wants us to think they’re getting to#I also don’t think they’ll ever have a perfect relationship#and I do completely get why people don’t have good faith built up in their relationship or in Johnny#but it gets to a point sometimes where it feels like people twist the show to make Robby’s life harder or sadder than it already is#his life has already been hard he already has enough depth and making him the perfect victim in the whole show makes him boring btw#I’d also love to read a single post about Robby-Miguel or Robby-Carmen that isn’t blatantly racist#but those posts haven’t been invented yet#it’s awesome to imagine reading one one day though
