Today's sketches are of AU Pearl where she was swapped with Spinel, based on the amazing drawing and idea from @fakedoe . Also a Kris dreemur in there too.

Side note I really liked using that one frame from Seele's ult from HSR as a reference for Pearl wielding her scythe. 11/10 would draw again and probably will in my sketchbook lol. Drawing has been the only thing keeping me sane this week and this was definitely therapeutic to draw.

Still toying around with the AU where Steven is actually just in the room after "Rose's Room". A little bit after Future, Steven is finally happy. Sure he has trauma but things are better now, he's healing and the world is safe from the diamonds. He's meeting to hang out with Connie but she seems off, he wouldn't be able to pin point it until it hit him like a punch in the gut. She's broken like Connie was in the room all those years ago

He runs, trying to find anyone, trying to convince himself it was all a dream, surely he wasn't in the room right? He finds the gems, his dad, Lion. They're all glitched in the same way, they room was finally breaking. Then the world starts to disappear, the buildings glitching in and out before the floor under him disappears. He falls again, like he did the first time, and the room doors open. He's a mess, his eyes wide and his breathing is hard. He still looks like future Steven but he's in a too small shirt. Pearl runs over to him, worried of course. "Steven! There you are, you were in there for 8 hours, we were starting to worry you got lost." It doesn't seem real to him, he was gone for only 8 hours but it felt like years. All his trauma was just something made up by the room. None of it was real. He'd freak out obviously and he just has a hard time adjusting. He's not sure how to talk to the gems, his dad, or even Connie at first. Separating real and fake feels impossible for him.

Thank you for your patience! I've been working on new episodes since December (you can read them early here!) but I want to wait a little more so start posting. So - to keep my promise that they WILL come back in January, I'm posting EP11, part 1, on January 31st!

After that, our regular one-episode-every-two-weeks schedule should resume as normal - hopefully for the remainder of the year! :)

Short Hiatus for FAU!
