But Eddie Munson? The senior year three-peat who sold mediocre weed and was rumored to worship the devil? The man who once told you to “lighten up and stop being a teacher’s pet” in front of your entire English class? It made no sense, and you regarded it as such. You wouldn’t get involved with him.

never hit me how many mobs in minecraft are your dead and/or fucked up ancestors. big reason why zombies all have steve's outfit. like zombies? died. Skeletons? died and decomposed fully. this includes variations of the two, and even thinking about wither skeletons that died decomposed and at some point before or after got the Disease. i'm sure there's variations in legends that I just don't know about. Everything about the endermen asking you to find eyes and free the end while speaking in fucked up english to say hello and picking up and moving blocks, attacking you when looking straight at them without a mask because of the reminder of what they could've been and/or once were. also like zombies and skeletons are the main mobs and populate the world like crazy when you let nighttime run. like seeing the ruins of temples, villages, and etc is one thing but seeing a hoarde of your dead forefathers really makes you think jesus christ how many of these people died. and then creepers are unexplained sentient peat moss. love minecraft.

The last few days, or is it weeks, have been a blur. The seconds are as long as any hour, the pain pulsing through you, acid coursing through your veins. Your body's in revolt. The desert of sobriety is dry and scalding, sending you into cold sweats and fiery delirium.  

The room is hazy and unfamiliar. He took you somewhere. Away from that hoity toity hotel. Somewhere remote. You can tell by the incessant chirp of birds and the rustling of the trees itching in your ears. 

Your mouth is parched as you stare at the tall glass of water perched on the night table. Steve left it there. Whether it's meant to help or a reminder of your first meeting, you can't decide. You doubt the former. He's a fuckhead if you ever met one. 

You grumble and turn onto your back. Moving is more tolerable. That stone rattling around in your skull isn't as heavy and the air is temperate, if not a bit humid. You blow put between your lips as you contemplate the wooden slats of the ceiling. 

You hear voices. One you know. It makes you grimace and ball your fists. The other is softer. A woman. Fuck off. He brought another one? 

You can just make out his words. 

"No problem. Kinda my thing, helping out those in needs. Especially pretty girls." 

You cringe at the ridiculous quip. He really likes to play the saviour. Well, you're not going to fucking let him. You have to warn the poor soul on the other side of that wall. 

His footfalls come back down the hall. They slow outside the door and you raise your head to see his shadow fill the beneath. You scowl as he taps gently on the door. 

"Hey, doing okay in there?" He speaks through the wood. 

He doesn't await your answer. He's taunting you. He can probably here your heartbeat pick up in irritation. 

The stairs creak as a door closes further down the hall. Your eyes roll back and forth as you gauge your surroundings, pushing through the last of the cloudiness. You feel hollow like a shell. The thirst awakens with you as you sit up. 

You need a drink. Bad. Not just because you’re so far in the bottle you can’t find your way out, but because this place, because of that man. The alcohol was only ever a boost, you don’t need it to put up a fight. 

You turn your feet over the side of the head and nearly collapse. You can do this. You’re not as weak as he thinks you are. You shudder out a breath and steady yourself, staring down the carpet as you stand. 

You look around at the slatted walls, the knots in the hewn wood, and the thick posts around the door and windows. The structure is thick and sound. You shuffle over to the window and pull back the plaid curtain. Fir trees and thick oaks greet you across peat littered with pinecones and needles. You are far from the city. 

You can’t help but wonder about the previous woman attached to the Captain. Her disappearance is starting to feel more planned than tragic. Maybe both. You face the room again and rub your forehead. You need to get yourself together. 

Ugh. Fuck it. 

You cross the room again and drink the water, slow but steady. You hate that it feels good. You hate that it’s not gin or vodka or something sharp and burning. You finish it and plunk the empty glass down. Fuck the Captain, he won’t win this one. 

You march to the door. The world is too vivid for your liking. You reach for the wood and drag your fingers down the grooved rectangles imprinted in it. You trail down to the handle and try to turn. Of course, locked. That’s fine. 

The woman’s voice came from that way. You turn to face the wall and near it. You run your hands across the wood and trace a line between the slats. You put two fingertips flat and start to tap. Taptaptap, tap-tap-tap, taptaptap... You remember the simple morse SOS. 

You stop and wait, and do it again. You don’t stop. You don’t know if they’ll hear but you have to try. Not everyone can handle a motherfucker like Steve Rogers. She definitely doesn’t sound like the type. You probably can’t either but you can say the Cap is far from the worst monster you’ve known.

Lan Wangji/Wei Wuxian (The Untamed)

I fell down the CQL rabbithole in 2020 and haven't gotten out ever since! Wangxian have got it all - pigtail pulling, pining, miscommunication, absolute devotion, oliviousness, true equals, death & rebirth, kink discovery, epic love. Infinite roads to walk and play with in fic. Actually made me write fic "for real" this time! Recently reread Hear a song this deeply by so_shhy which likely got recced by everyone and their uncle already. XD Also, recently read Caught in 4k by KizuKatana, which I enjoyed a lot.

Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski (Teen Wolf)

Yeah, those two. XD I mean, what can one do if the actors have such fantastic chemistry? And the jokster character who actually is one of the most traumatised and ruthless of the group is always a win, couple that with tall, dark and menacing who's secretly soft inside and has trauma for 10 people and you've got the perfect ship. XD Fics: Anything by thepsychicclam and KouriArashi, and Come with me and walk the longest mile by DevilDoll.

Sherlock Holmes/John Watson (Sherlock)

Oh look, another super big ship. XD I'm sure everyone knows what's so interesting about them and why this ship has existed since ACD wrote the original novels! I was quite disappointed by season 4 and looking back, the show had lots of problems even early on. But the fandom made a lot out of not that much and in the early seasons, there at last was hope that they would keep to the case format. I haven't read much new fic for this, but I read Kaleidoscope by Silvergirl last year and loved it, also anything by Chryse as well as JupiterAsh.

Jack Sparrow/Anamaria (Pirates of the Caribbean)

Even though the Sparrington ship was much bigger for me in this fandom later on, I started out with shipping Jack/Anamaria and it still holds a special place in my heart. That fandom in itself was very special for me and I look back on it fondly. I loved Anamaria in the movie and was devastated that she didn't come back for the other two. It's been so long since I read PotC fic and especially this pairing, but Honorat's (sadly unfinished though I'm still holding out a teensy tiny bit of hope) epic Crossing the Bar lives rent-free in my head.

Steve Rogers/James Bucky Barnes (Captain America/MCU)

Childhood friends to lovers! Traumatic pasts! Snark! So much you can do with this ship and even though I wasn't really ever in the MCU fandom, I read a lot of Steve/Bucky fic. They hit lots of sweet fic spots for me. Fics: Anatomy of a Scandal by Rena, Winter wheat sunflower peat by newsbypostcard and Your favourite ghost by augustbird.

Pokémon Trainer OC 2 (Johto)

OK this is the second OC that I am making for the Pokémon Universe, and I am going to be using the same rules for team building like the other characters of using only using pokemon found in the region, using Pre-evolutions and Evolutions introduced in future games of the pokemon found in the Johto Region, and using Regional Forms of the Johto Pokémon, along side continuing to assume Gen 9 pokemon battle mechanics

For the Character their name is Lilliana "Lily" von Gotha, they are a 5'4" 140 pound 24 female who goes by She/They pronouns and her main job is that of a Novel Writer. and rides around on a green Vespa. They have long, waist length hair that they typically wear in long set of braids, Grey eye, and Umber Skin tone. and in terms of builds, she does have a more ectomorph build but she is still able to carry around a good amout of weight. as for their typical outfit the best way that I can describe it is a from top to bottom is that they where a baseball cap, a pair of circular lensless glasses, a blouse shirt with a sleeveless hoodie, a tiered skirt, and a pair of Tennis Shoes, all of which having a Black and Purple theme to it, she also carries around a Messenger Bag that has her writing stuff in it

Her Pokémon Team

Steve the Feraligatr - The first pokemon that Lily had ever gotten from Professor Elm, Steve has the Adamant Nature, the Sheer Force Ability, and holds the Life Orb. and their moves is that of Dragon Dance, Liquidation, Ice Punch, and Crunch

Cerberus the Houndoom - Gained as a houndour while it was still considered a baby, Lily would help train them up to help out in battles. Cerberus has a Timid Nature, along side the Flash Fire ability and the Focus Sash Held Item. additionally the moveset that Cerberus has is Nasty Plot, Dark Pulse, Fire Blast, and Overheat.

Sparx the Yanmega - Gained as a Yanma on route 35, they would catch them to help with the type coverage. Sparx has a Modest nature, the ability Tinted Lens, and the Heavy-Duty Boots Held Item. and their moveset is Swords Dance, Bug Buzz, Air Slash, and Psychic

Drago the Dragonite - Gained at the Goldenrod Game Center as a Dratini for 2,100 coins, and though Drago was smaller than the average Dratini, Lily would feed and help train it to make sure that it grew up big and strong when it eventually evolved into Dragonite. it has an Impish nature, the Multiscale ability, and having the Clear Amulet item. and as for the moveset Drago has it is Earthquake, Dragon Rush, Iron Head, and Thunder.

Mia the Hitmonchan - Lily gained Mia from Kiyo of the Fighting Dojo and helped make sure that Mia was happy and powerful when they became a Hitmonchan. Mia has the adamant nature, the iron fist ability, and the assault vest held item. and they have the moves of Drain Punch, Knock Off, Mach Punch, and Rapid Spin.

Luna the Ursaluna - Finally is Luna the Ursaluna. Lily had gained Luna when Luna was still a Teddiursa in Mt. Silver's Cave, and after catching it would train it up to an Ursaring and after gaining a peat block from a merchant in Catallia City would evolve Luna one more time into Ursaluna. Luna has a Brave nature, the guts ability, and the flame orb held item. and their moveset is Swords Dance, Facade, Headlong Rush, and Fire Punch.

Other Info for the Character

the books that Lily writes are mostly Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Romance books, and usually puts some level of research into the stuff she is writing about before including it so that she can best represent.

Lily also often times writes in Cafes, Coffee Shops, dinners, bakeries, and other businesses, especially if they allow her to have her pokemon out, since it allows her to have stuff to eat whenever she writes.

though she sees the reason why some people use Pen and Paper to write Lily prefers to write on a computer because she can send off her drafts and manuscripts to the publishing staff she's working with and receive any notes back so that she can properly edit it herself, mostly so that she doesn't need to worry about it getting lost in the mail or something like that.

whenever Lily is waiting for the publisher's notes back, Lily usually travels between cities and towns assuming that she doesn't have stuff to do in the city that she is currently in. such as traveling from Mahogany Town to Blackthorn City if she isn't taking on the Mahogany Town Gym.

Though she does get a pretty decent hourly wage from the publishing company she works with along side gaining roughly 35-50% of royalties from the books that she publishes depending on what format the book is, Lily still does Pokémon battle to help subsidies the missing income, doing both official battles in the middle of the city square (if an official event is going on) or entering tournaments in whatever city she is in, and usually getting a good portion of the pot in the events she enters.

Living the Dream Year 3 Day 42 – Garden rototilled with mini excavator, plants planted

Year 3 Day 42 – “Living the Dream”. Tuesday, 6/13/2023. Steve rototilled the garden in 15 minutes. Lol. I have never seen anyone do that before. We planted the 72 peat pots. Everything seems to be growing. We are hoping we don’t need a fence to keep rabbits and deer out. It doesn’t appear most gardens around here are fenced.
