Thinking very hard about an AU idea of mine. Reluctant king Sabo AU!

In which Sabo isn’t saved by Dragon, but survives long enough to drift ashore and be saved by the doctors of Goa Kingdom, who do so only to ransom his medical bills from Sabo’s parents. Sabo’s parents take him back, thinking that his amnesia makes him a clean slate, but Sabo, young and stubborn and unsure of his entire identity, knows that everything is wrong and runs again, and again, and again.

Until at some point, he meets the Revolutionaries, and realizes that he can be useful to them, provide them information, make something good of an inescapable situation. From then on, he starts acting the noble that he was born as, in order to be a more useful informant to the Revolutionaries, until sunk cost fallacy hits and he believes that being a noble is the only way that he can be useful to the Revolutionaries. So at that point, why not take it all the way?

At 17, Sabo becomes one of Princess Sarie’s suitors, and at 17, he has doubts about using the princess for his own goals. Sarie is a romantic, and she wants a dramatic fairy tale of a romance, and she was already charmed, but the moment Sabo opens up to her about not wanting to use her to get to the throne, having lofty ambitions of helping the people (just not the people she thinks he’s talking about), Sabo becomes the one she simply must marry, because surely if she tries hard enough, she can make him love her back.

Soon after, the king and his son die. Sarie’s father and brother die. And while Sabo conveniently ascends to the throne, he also swiftly implicates his father, Outlook, in the assassination of all heirs to the throne, resulting in Outlook’s arrest and subsequent execution. And thus, at 18, Sabo becomes king, and begins to gradually institute great changes to Goa Kingdom.

Design-wise, Sabo wears an eyepatch because his damaged eye is considered a grotesque sight by nobles’ standards. Under the eyepatch, he wears heavy makeup to hide the burn scar. These are both at the behest of his birth parents, who spin a story about Sabo having been born half blind to hide the fact that Sabo had been shot by a Celestial Dragon and save face. To those who have seen his scar, they fabricate a second secret story that he was unfortunately kidnapped as a child. Sabo never does find out, until he regains his memories, where the burn scar is actually from.

Basically in this AU when Outlook brings Sabo back to the mansion, and when Stelly and Sabo meet for the first time, Sabo points out that he's simply a replacement for him and that in reality neither Didit nor Outlook think of him like an actual person.

Stelly soon realises that Sabo is right, and so the next day he asks him to tell him more about Sabo's life outside of the Kingdom

That's the moment where Stelly's dream to become free is born

The very next morning Stelly aids Sabo and both of them run away from Outlook

And soon enough Stelly joins the trio!!

Dark AU

Stelly is… not happy with the big change.

Understandably so.

It’s not every day you learn your adoptive mother is happy to throw you under the bus if it meant saving her hide and reputation. Certainly not everyday that the monstrous, cannibalistic creature that adopted your adoptive brother and killed and ate your adoptive parents has mercy on you.

No, Stelly is perfectly and understandably unhappy with the way things are going, and he now knows that throwing a tantrum about it won’t help anything. It just leaves him feeling worn out and foolish.

Picking on Sabo doesn’t even have the same effect due to the spotty amnesia that he’s still recovering from. All it does is leave him feeling frustrated, and maybe just a bit guilty.

So he has to focus on other things to cover that up.

Mostly things like not getting bullied by Ace, or annoyed half to death by Luffy. Robin’s there too, but she doesn’t indulge in the squabbling. He thinks she might be a snitch, because she disappears and Dragon shows up shortly after to break up the fights and give them all a bit of lecturing.

Speaking of the man, the one thing Stelly is most surprised to learn is that Dragon isn’t exactly the monster the WEJ and his old families make him out to be.

Well he is, but there’s more to him than that.

He’s… compassionate towards him. It doesn’t make any damn sense. Asking only leaves him with more questions because why does he mean by him leaving one life behind and coming into another? What does he mean by him being hurt? He was never treated poorly until the very end and that was only because his mother was scared!

Wasn’t it?

He doesn’t like to think about it.

As the years go on and he stops pouting as much (it doesn’t work here. Why does it not work here?), he starts to take notice of things as they travel. Things that he’s read about in his studies that he’s only ever scoffed at.

Things like how the crew ties the knots in the rigging, how they take up and unfurl the sails… how the captain seems to know where to go just by looking at the stars… how his vice captains rally and calm and help and heal…

And the world… the big wide world beyond Goa’s horizon… he can’t take his eyes off of it.

Did he scoff at these things because he didn’t think they were important, or because others thought they weren’t?

Did they not know?

Did they not care?

Did they not want him to have the chance to see it all for himself?

One evening he goes to Dragon and asks this. He doesn’t like to think about these things, but he can’t stop thinking about them anymore.

And Dragon tells him that cages come in just as many shapes and sizes as the birds that get trapped in them. His had been seastone bars, red granite, and fame. Stelly’s had been gold, marble, and expectations.

Dragon gives him a lot to think about…

He still doesn’t like to think about it… but he’s doing himself no favors by avoiding it, so he might as well keep thinking about it.

I Lowkey really like the theory/Headcanon of Feitan being a zoldyck

But also it would be super sad considering that Kikyo grew up in meteor city and that means that either her or Silva chose to abandon him

And considering Feitan is 28 and Illumi is 24, it’s safe to say that Feitan would be the oldest Zoldyck and they chose to abandon their first child

He was most likely abandoned due to not having white hair, which is a trait that the most talented Zoldyck members have. The white hair is also why Killua was so smothered.

After abandoning Feitan, they probably kept Illumi with the mentality of “we can have him train the white haired one and use him as a test child”

Which also makes sense because Illumi is the eldest and is the most desensitized to everything

He was the first child to endure the training of becoming an assassin

He was the one who was hurt the most to figure out what he could withstand

The same probably happened with Milluki

And then Killua came around. The white haired child.

I don’t know why they continued to have kids with Alluka and Kalluto (both being 11-10 I think)

Honestly they probably just fucked like rabbits

before the war, nothing really. i think estelle is very content and sleeps well! she has busy days and busy nights and she's got a good thing going. then, once she gets assigned to be a medic, she stays up worrying that she's too stubborn and too blunt to do this, that she's not going to be fast enough or strong enough to get to the people who need her, but she also justifies that by pushing herself to work harder and watch her body get lithe and wiry.

during the war, it's the usual - blood, friends dying, friends' blood while they're dying and she learns to work on no sleep (eugene and spina are her only role models and gene is gene and spina is spina) so that she spends as little time as possible thinking about what might happen to her friends. you'll notice that none of her concern is for herself

HELL YEAH!!

Okay so i’ve been seeing so many (ie: two) fanfics of feral ASL brothers and the traits they have from being jungle children, WHICH i eat up every time, but something needs to be said about Sabo.

Sabo was raised as a noble child, had probably gone to etiquette class since he was old enough to understand it. HOWEVER, Sabo had always hated it.

Something in him was different, wanted to be free. He DENOUNCES his noble up bringing, and fakes his death. He runs away from regular life, his noble life, and becomes a jungle child.

Sabo unlike his brothers who got mellower over the years, he got MORE feral. More chaotic. The Sabo who lost his inhibitions is more feral than how he was as a child. More feral and chaotic than ace. People REALLY should go into this more with fanfics.

Sabo had always been different than the other noble children, more wild. Being noble, rough housing was unheard of, Sabo didn’t understand.

Younger animals rough house to show their affection, so depriving A wild sabo this right?

Sabo couldn’t help but want to get rough and wild, and tumble outside in the garden. Couldn’t help but want someone to tussle with. But that’s not how noble children did things.

Since he was little Sabo had known he was different from others. He felt more at home in the garden than he did with his own parents.

Sabo’s parents knew he was a wild thing, they did everything in their power to ‘curb’ these instincts, however humans were powerless against the jungles call.

Perhaps that’s why Sabos parents had “Loved” Stelly like they did. A son unclaimed by the jungle? A breath of fresh air. So much easier to c̶o̶n̶t̶r̶o̶l̶ love.

Sabo had always been wild, feral if you will. He had just learned to suppress that part of himself. However, you don’t ignore the call of the jungle.

When Sabo had e̶s̶c̶a̶p̶e̶d̶ left c̶a̶g̶e̶ his house, he had turned into what his ‘parents’ referred to as a “street rat” However… something about the jungle would call to him. Certain behaviors Sabo’s parents had ‘curbed’ started to take place again.

Sabos wild behavior started to take on a feral edge. Sabo would hoard his treasure and the food he could scavenge, if someone came to take any of his treasure… Sabo became dangerous.

The longing for the jungle started to become even stronger, the more time spent not repressing these feral urges and behaviors until eventually Sabo gave in. And that led Sabo to meet another jungle child.

When Sabo and Ace meet, it’s like looking into a distorted mirror, for Sabo.

Ace was jungle raised, he had been the jungles child since he was a newborn. He had grown up there, adapted and changed as the animals around him have. A wild feral thing, who gave into the instincts.

Sabo confuses Ace, he moves like those stiff nobles, he dresses like the people who call him the ‘devil’ and ‘the little monster of the jungle’, but… the look in sabo’s eyes Ace sees it in his own reflection. The way Sabo behaves, a bit hesitant, but still ilk recognizes ilk, Sabo is a child of the jungle. He has been claimed.

So, I've been in the middle of a few brainrots lately, and I ended up making a Warrior Cats AU for JJBA, because I'm cringe but I'm free 🔥🔥

I ended up with these designs, and a little bit of information for the characters as well :D and...a fic outline, so that's really fun. I happened to have grown up on furry one piece (Warrior Cats) and I'm sure that's. very obvious LMAO, so I had a LOT of fun with designing and writing Something. I also have a buncha extra doodles too, I guess. I have Buccellati and Abbacchio done, too, but I want to make a separate post for them. Feel free to indulge in my autistic rambling below the cut;

I decided to call this series "Stelli Fortuni", and I sorta slapped it somewhere in the middle of Warrior Cats canon--so there's canon warriors here--because I'm not about to make new clans and the story in Warrior Cats is really interesting and I want to play around in it and I've decided to do that through my autistic little lens, ok?

Part 5's arc would take place in the beginning of the Power of Three (Outcast, specifically) and end during Sunrise.

Also, imagine that Link meme--it's my sleepover and I choose the ___ ? yeah, It's my AU and I choose the culture, and I say these cats have traditions because they're a friggen cat society and also they have sexualities and gender too. this is MY au and I say they're WOKE

(For Giorno, I know the art says Goldenwind, but I changed it last minute because I found the new one fits better).

Giorno - Goldenwish (Riverclan) LaPerm

Small and plump curly furred golden tom with turquoise green eyes. He's quiet and always seems poised. Nobody really knows where he came from, just that he appeared one day in Riverclan's camp as a kitten. Leopardstar decided it'd be best to take him in. It certainly didn't escape her notice that he's got the same strange starkissed mark on his shoulder that Silverfish and Shinekit do. That being said, Giorno has an unusual affinity for plant growth and a kinship with nature.

Buccellati - Stickyfig (Riverclan) Egyptian Mau

Large, lithe white tom with small black spots that look like tadpoles. He's wise, thoughtful and always stands tall. Even as an apprentice, he's always proved to be reliable and he's quite well liked through all the clans. That being said, he's got quite the weird side, as well as a caring and fatherly side. He, along with Tigerfoot, Violethaze, Mandarinflight & Houndsight appeared at the lake during a stormy night. Only Leopardstar and Mistyfoot know why they were out in that stormy night. Starclan has gifted Stickyfig with the uncanny ability to cut through almost anything, a power he uses sparingly.

Trish - Softrose (Riverclan) Turkish Van

Slender rose-ginger and white she-cat with soft green eyes. When she's first allowed into the clan, she's quiet and reserved. She only (hesitantly) talked with Stickyfig and Goldenwish, but later she unwinds a little. She won't admit it out loud, but she's unsettled by the idea of a full prophecy--that would end in lives being lost--hinging on her arrival at all. At first, she truly doesn't even want to be in the clan. Along her journey with the rest of the gang, she warms up to them and, by the end, decides to stay in Riverclan. She's been blessed with the ability to soften anything.

Mista - Tigerfoot (Shadowclan) Caracat

Bulky and well-muscled brown tom with a striped backside, tufted ears and muddy brown eyes. He has six toes on both of his large front paws and five on the back. He's also abnormally large for a cat, and his clanmates joke often that he has wildcat blood in him, or that he must be some kind of mountain cat. This actually isn't that far off. The cats he arrived to the clans with were all cats from a backyard breeder that tried to make domestic wildcats--Caracals, Servals Leopard cats, etc. He doesn't like to think too much on it--he's here now, right? He's devoted, loyal, and very lack-a-daisy. He trusts his physical strength more than his cleverness--but that's not to say he's unintelligent, far from it. Unlike Violethaze, he's quite devout in Starclan, believing that they guide his paws and that, as long as he's true, he'll be safe. Lucky, even. While, at first, it might seem like he's the only "chosen" without powers, he can talk to animals directly. He's bonded with six unruly birds.

(Those birds are, if you're curious, Kingfisher, sparrow, bluejay, mourning dove, woodpecker & a european robin).

Fugo - Violethaze (Shadowclan) Silver-spotted f1 Savannah

Sleek, lithe and a little gangly white tom with unusual silver spotting like a leopard's and fiery violet eyes. He's extremely impatient and short tempered--it's a wonder he became a medicine cat at all. That being said, he's incredibly knowledgeable and good with medicine. He's not just knowledgeable on cures, either, he's also quite knowledgeable on poisons and venoms. He's weary and his clanmates think he's quite prickly and hard to get along with, but Tigerfoot thinks he's the funniest person ever to annoy. His biggest secret is that he has the ability to control illness and disease, which is why he'd such a good medicine cat. He can give what he takes away.

Narancia - Mandarinflight (Thunderclan) American curl

Medium sized calico tabby top with an orange face, tufted and curled ears, and wide and bright violet eyes. He's energetic and passionate, and fiercely skilled as both a warrior and a scout. Out of the band of unique looking cats, he's the one who could pass The Most Normal. When he was younger, he almost died of an eye infection that occurred due to the conditions of the mill--which lead to the group's escape to find help. He was only a kitten at that time, and while he pretends it doesn't affect him it does. He can't see very well out of that eye. He feels like it's his fault that they're all seperated now, but he also doesn't dwell on it much. He's got the ability to jump unusually high for a cat his size and build. He could climb an entire oak tree in a matter of seconds, and he has incredible vision.

Abbacchio - Houndsight (Thunderclan) Maine coon

Silver tom with a dark grey stripe along his head to tail tip. He has two toned eyes, and sallow silken fur. For a cat as young as he is, one would think he carries a moon of sadness across his back. He's very low energy and doesn't engage with his clanmates much. It's hard to become his friend, he's prickly, defensive and tired, but once you do you find that he's quite a loyal and wise, if not old, soul. In addition to being saddled with the guilt of The Horrors (his friend dying for him), he's able to communicate with the dead spirits that show themselves to him. They're able to guide him, but never fully interfere.

I wanted to give them abilities like they have in the show, but abilities that sorta made sense within in the context of Warrior Cats. Though, that makes me wonder, if these powers are supposed to fill in the space that Stands leave behind, does that mean Lionblaze, Jayfeather and Dovewing are examples of in universe canon Stand Users? /silly

This AU is entirely for fun and to get me into writing longer stories that I'll Actually finish. I basically grew up and learnt how to read and write with Warrior Cats, so this is kind of exactly my element. With NaNoWritMo coming up, I'd like to actually try to complete the challenge this year, since writing takes a lot of spoons for an unmedicated ADHD person. That being SAIID it's also perfect drawing inspiration too. Not to brag, but I've drawn so many.....memes. I've yet to draw anything serious, they always end up memes, I'm sick.

Anyways, I also have designs for characters outside of Part 5, I'm just especially abnormal about part 5. This AU also changes a lot of key events in the main WC story, like Leopardstar dying earlier, Mistystar also dying earlier and there's more like. traditions and world building than what we get in the actual books (Like, I want to add little festivals, special funeral services for fallen leaders, pilgrimages that medicine cats have to take, etc.) because I think it'd be super fun

⋆ it went on for about 5 months before unspoken feelings were finally brought up, leading to a messy fight that ended their deal. however, they couldn't avoid each other entirely, since they had some close mutual friends.

⋆ jack is always the first to pick a fight, commenting on something irrelevant like how he doesn't like the color of her shirt just to get a rise out of her.

⋆ there's a burning hatred inside of her that sparks whenever he speaks, but not quite the same burning she feels as her eyes shoot daggers into the back of some random girl that he's shamelessly flirting with.

⋆ jack will actively sabotage any chance of her getting with another guy, sliding into the conversation and saying something out of pocket like "you don't wanna get with her bro, she picks her boogers and eats them." feeling relief wash over him as the guy backs off of her.

⋆ after a day where he's pissed her off more than usual, she'll push herself harder at dance practice, using the confusing rage to drive her passion as she runs through her combos countless times to make sure there's no mistakes.

⋆ jack knows about her anxiety, so he knows when it's time to back off and leave her alone. he's still an asshole though, so he'll only back off when he knows there's something important coming up, like a dance competition or an exam, otherwise it's business as usual.

⋆ estella who hates herself when she can't help but stare at his annoyingly pretty features, him quirking a brow in amusement when he catches her.

⋆ sometimes they won't speak for a week or more, one of their fights getting too heated and one of them hurts the others feelings. maybe estella saying something about how he'd be fucked without hockey, or maybe jack bringing up the fact that she was cheated on in her past relationship.

⋆ they won't talk about it or resolve anything, simply finding themselves in the same environment and going back to their pointless bickering.

⋆ yet as the two lay in their separate dorms at night as they try to fall asleep, they can't help but think back to how they used to be, tangled in one bed.

Stelly looking at Dragon and Crocodile- clearly a couple, and vocal about it- but thinking that their relationship is a political alliance, because that’s all he’s ever known marriage to be.

Sabo has the same issue to some degree, but he’s been so rejecting of his nobility that he’s quick to learn that marrying for political gain is widely seen as not normal in the world at large.

Stelly is still clinging. A little less every day, but still.

He will sometimes brave a question to Dragon or Crocodile when he can catch them alone. What were the terms of their marriage? Was it an arms deal? Was it to secure resources? Territory? Perhaps a treaty with old Whitebeard, since Crocodile was once a part of the Moby Dick’s crew (that one got him quite the laugh from the scarred man)?

From Dragon, he was told that he and the former warlord had chosen each other and were mated for life. From Crocodile, he was told that he and the Emperor married out of love, and couldn’t imagine life without each other…

It left Stelly even more confused.

People loved each other when they married? Not just eventually grew to love each other out of necessity, but loved each other before? That was… incomprehensible!

… Why did they look at him so sadly when he told them that?
