Thank you! There are a lot of things I want to say but the 50s AU but some things I think are better explained with illustrations coming your way. I can share a few notes.

Alastor's and Vaughn's (Vox) friendship lasted for years before they broke up. I'm thinking 1954-early 1960s. They had a couple of years of radio silence between the two of them before they talked to each other again.

Alastor radio show is hosted by a local New Orleans station but that will both fortunately and unfortunately change.

Alastor’s killing sprees go up and down activity over the years. The 20-30s were his most active. Lots of reason why they’ve slowed down. (One of the reasons, that he won’t admit, is because of his body pains and stiffness related to aging, serving both wars, and killing people for years are not easy on the body.)

Vaughn has real estate in both CA, Hollywood, and NY, New York City. Oh right, and now in LA, New Orleans.

Vaughn is in a weird place where he’s moving towards television than film as there’s been a decline in the box offices post WW2.

Marian (still working on her full name), wears a lot of different hats in the film production scene in Hollywood. She has experiences with editing, production management, and screenwriting. She’d married Vaughn early 1940s, definitely before WW2 ended so Vaughn could get out of getting drafted to the war. She’s more focus in film than television but she’ll step in as production manager in Vaughn’s projects if he needs the extra help.

(And yes, she does know about Vaughn’s attraction to men and definitely knows about his feelings towards Alastor. Maybe more aware than he does.)

Morningstar family are consider royalty in the entertainment history with a heavy background law and business from Lucifer’s (his name might change for this AU) side of the family. But Lilith is the true lawyer of Charlie’s immediate family. And handles most of the businesses under the Morningstar’s name. Consider them kinda like the Kardashians in this AU.

Thanks for @random-emerald-thoughts for giving a lot of inspiration and ideas for this AU! I will explore these notes more with visuals and they may change! So nothing is concrete. Thank you again for the asks!

I have weird feelings abt shipping Valentino. I firmly believe the only characters that are really. Okay to ship with him are the other Vees and maybe Niffty. Like Im not gonna go around attacking other ppl abt it, rlly if you see content you don't like the best thing you can do is block and move on, but I still don't like the idea of him in a relationship to the point where even the ships involving him I DO support are on thin ice(hence why Velval and Staticmoth individually are so low). That being said I am nothing if not a sucker for dysfunctional polycules(I will DIE ON THE POLYVEES HILL TOO, FUCK YOU!!!!!!), and the idea of Niffty terrorizing Val and being kinda like his horrible purse dog(thanks @/kibbles-bits lmfao) is funny asf, so I am willing to make exceptions on my no shipping Val stance lmfao.

Velmilla is in the NOTP section because the theory that Velvette is one of Carmilla's daughters is compelling enough to me that I don't feel comfortable shipping them at all, but I did stripe it w/ "maybe?/neutral" bcuz if that theory ends up being undeniably disproven next season then there's probably some potential there Idk

Husk x Alastor is a NOTP bcuz I think enough parallels between Val and Alastor have been pulled that the ship is iffy at BEST. Like it's not an immediate block if you ship it but it is kind of a red flag to me. Dont feel as much vitriolic disgust towards it as I do other NOTPs tho so it's also in the not for me section.

Im the biggest (one sided) staticradio bitch ever but someone raised the crack theory of Alastor and Vox being actually siblings when they were alive and IM THRIVING sibling dynamics own my entire soul (hehe get it bc /gets shot) ok HEAR ME OUT:

Alastors dad was confirmed to be Caucasian and If I remember correctly there was something kinda confirmed about Vox being white as fuck or something, right??? Okay. Half siblings. Same father, different mothers. Alastor being the product of an affair his father had years before he and his actual wife had Vox, making Alastor his older brother. (I'm thinking an around 10 years age gap ??? maybe ????) Their dad, on Alastors side, appears once every 4-6 months at BEST, mostly to give him and his mother some money solely for the sake of making himself look better and compensate at least a little on his egos behalf for not giving a single fuck. So Alastor doesn't know shit about his father's life even less his whole "other family" thing, neither does he care at all.

The thing is: Vox knows. Imagine a lil 7-8 yo Vox getting curious about where and why his dad does that one trip every 4-6 months, then at some point somehow discovering the "other woman and her son" deal, aka his older sibling. His father never ever mentions anything about it and god forbids trying to ask him, so when he's a little older (around 15 ??) he starts researching, finally finding out about his radio program. Imagine him listening to it out of curiosity ???? Actually liking it and becoming an active listener ????? Maybe getting the inspiration of the informative concept from him and then later wanting to take it to the tv when it got released ???????

Domestic staticradio feels so Adams family coded, but in a opposite sense.

Like with the Adams family, they seem kinda scary and dark, I mean for God sakes they have a living hand running around their house, but they're actually really sweet and kind once you get to know them. They just have a different way of doing things.

But with Domestic staticradio, they seem sweet, and they are, but piss them off they won't hesitate to kill you. Especially if you hurt someone in their family or they care about.

If it wasn't for how sweet Charlie and Vinyl are, I could see this happening when they were kids.

Alastor wants Vox to spend more time with him and Vark but he also knows that Vox's company is important to him and is something he's been working on for a while now and wants to see come to fruition
