Friday March 31.
Tumblr's Friday Explainer: Indictment.
For no reason, no reason whatsoever, absolutely none at all, we have decided to take you good folks with us on a little lesson in law. And no, not bird law, The Law; criminal law, to be precise. Every day is a school day, after all, so we figured there was no better time than this, the 31st, the last day of March 2023, to give you a little schooling on "Indictment". It is an important step in the legal process, and you never know, it may come in handy: you yourself may fancy yourself as a hotshot lawyer, or maybe you just can't get enough of crime dramas such as Better Call Saul, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Boston Legal, or indeed Suits. It could even give you a helping hand navigating the noisy, complex world of #us politics. You know. For example.
Well, curious critters, at a basic level, an indictment consists of a formal written list of what a suspect is accused of. An indictment, it is important to remember, is not a conviction—instead, it means that a prosecutor may move forward with criminal charges. Gosh, isn't that interesting!
With that, you can go about your Friday safe in the knowledge of your newfound, well, knowledge. And you're in good company, too, because as luck would have it, Tumblr's indictment fandom community are all beside themselves with excitement today. For reasons, admittedly, still a little unclear.
#this is funny in a 'social media platforms vaguing about trump to curate their brand' kind of way#but jesus that was so many words to get to a one sentence long description that wasnt even that vague#sometimes less is more#the broad strokes is that a New York state grand jury has indicted Trump of 30+ counts#which means prosecutors in the state of NY presented evidence to a grand jury (not the jury that would hear the case if it went to trial)#and the grand jury agreed there might be enough evidence to find him guilty of some/any/all of the charges#the charges are criminal so Trump will be arraigned but will amost 100% bond out. so its up to the prosecutors if they want to settle#praying for a trial because he deserves it but also im thinking the court might be likely to not allow live video coverage of a trial

An arrest warrant has been issued for a New York doctor indicted on Friday by a Louisiana grand jury for allegedly prescribing abortion pills online to a pregnant minor in the Deep South state, which has one of the strictest near-total abortion bans in the country. Grand jurors at the District Court for the Parish of West Baton Rouge unanimously issued an indictment against Dr. Margaret Carpenter; her company, Nightingale Medical, PC; and the minor’s mother. All three were charged with criminal abortion by means of abortion-inducing drugs, a felony. [...] New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said in a video posted on social media, “I will never, under any circumstances, turn this doctor over to the state of Louisiana under any extradition requests,” signaling a potential legal battle between the states.

Are the Trump indictments election interference? asked someone whose question I will take in good faith against my better judgment.
The American presidential election (November 5, 2024) is more than a year away. There is more than a whole year for these four (4) trials to occur. If candidates want to start campaigning (and have already been campaigning) year(s) in advance, that is not the American judicial system's problem. Do not let anyone tell you that "I DECLARE CAMPAIGN SO YOU CAN'T TOUCH ME" is how this works.
I welcome criminal charges of actual substance for any candidate of any party. If you have dozens of pages of carefully documented charges against any/all Democrats, please have a DA call a grand jury whenever you would like. Political parties are not sports teams to me. Justice can do what it gotta do, whether it's convenient or not.
If someone doesn't want to get pulled up on racketeering charges (RICO), they maybe shouldn’t have racketeered. Or falsified business records, or mishandled documents to the tune of 31 charges under the Espionage Act, or incited an insurrection, the latter of which, I don't know about you, but which I personally watched on TV, live, for several hours, including coverage of the Trump rally that sent crowds marching over to the Capitol. We have heard the Georgia phone call that is part of the fourth indictment. We have seen pictures of classified documents piled in a random Mar-a-Lago bathroom. I am confident that these are not frivolous accusations.
District Attorney Fani Willis was careful to state that there should be a presumption of innocence (a standard American judicial doctrine). That said, I consider (as one example), this fourth indictment to be “charges of actual substance” because she delivered a 96-page document describing the racketeering (which, ironically, WAS ITSELF ELECTION INTERFERENCE):
u/code_archaeologist: The math on this is easy. For a jury to find a person guilty on a RICO charge in Georgia the prosecutor has to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that they engaged in two incidents that predicated the overarching conspiracy. The RICO charge lists 161 predicating incidents. So Fani Willis has 161 shots at each defendant, and only has to hit twice.
(I like to read r/politics.)
Fani Willis has 161 predicating incidents of conspiracy to work with. I am pretty confident that, while a defendant is innocent until proven guilty in the American justice system, these charges have some weight and deserve to be heard in court.
tl;dr if you don't want to campaign under a legal cloud, don't do crimes.
Also try not to publicly intimidate witnesses. And prosecutors. And judges.
If anyone reading this truly wondered if the substance or timing of these proceedings are warranted, sincerely, I hope laying it out like this helped.

"Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney — whom you may recall from Trump’s grand jury — struck down the state’s six-week abortion ban on Monday, on the grounds that the law violated the right to privacy in the state’s constitution. Also on the grounds that pregnant people “are not some piece of collectively owned community property.”
In his ruling in the case of State v. SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective, McBurney — who, strangely enough, is a Republican appointee and a former prosecutor — struck down several portions of the LIFE Act he deemed unconstitutional and logically incoherent."

An Arizona grand jury on Wednesday indicted seven attorneys and aides affiliated with Donald Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign as well as 11 Arizona Republicans on felony charges related to their alleged efforts to subvert Joe Biden’s 2020 victory in the state, according to an announcement by the state attorney general. Those indicted include former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, attorneys Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, John Eastman and Christina Bobb, top campaign adviser Boris Epshteyn and former campaign aide Mike Roman. They are accused of allegedly aiding an unsuccessful strategy to award the state’s electoral votes to Trump instead of Biden after the 2020 election. Also charged are the Republicans who signed paperwork on Dec. 14, 2020, that falsely purported Trump was the rightful winner, including former state party chair Kelli Ward, state Sens. Jake Hoffman and Anthony Kern, and Tyler Bowyer, a GOP national committeeman and chief operating officer of Turning Point Action, the campaign arm of the pro-Trump conservative group Turning Point USA. Trump was not charged, but he is described in the indictment as an unindicted co-conspirator.
Meadows, Giuliani and other Trump allies charged in Arizona 2020 election probe
Put them all in prison for the rest of their lives, please.

So...
Am I the only one who noticed that Luigi Mangione is absolutely, 100%, without a shadow of a doubt, not the same guy who shot up the United Healthcare CEO, Brian Thompson?
Like, was I the only one paying attention to the fact that the guy had cleaned up eyebrows that were either tweezed and or threaded? And as someone who used to regularly thread their eyebrows, that hair does not grow back within a week, let alone five days. It takes a full month or better before it gets back to hairy bushiness.
Not to mention, the original shooter did not have a green jacket on, no no, I'm pretty sure that jacket was either heather gray or black (idk, the lighting at that moment made it hard to tell). But it was definitely not green.
This kid they have got locked up, Luigi Mangione-- he's a Fall Guy. He's not the one they're looking for. Sorry peeps, as much as he's an Italian heartthrob... Well, he's not the one everyone she be looking for..
And if that's not enough, how about his spinal injury?
Spondylolisthesis, to be precise?
And how he got a botched spinal fusion surgery, in an attempt to fix it?
Do you genuinely think that man would be even remotely comfortable enough to attempt to ride to the place of the crime, or to get away after, on a city bike, without being in some incredibly excruciating pain??
I'm sorry.
That man is innocent until proven guilty, under the constitutional fifth amendment, under due process of law:
"No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation." -5th Amendment, the United States Constitution.

The Charleston Church Shooting: Dylann Roof
*NOTE! This is a repost! And it will look familiar CAUSE IVE POSTED IT ON ANOTHER ACCOUNT!! Is it the best? No.*
—
Early life/ Prior convictions
Dylann was born April 3rd 1994 to mother Amelia and father Franklin with 2 sisters Amber and Morgan. During early childhood his parents would divorce and his father would later remarry. His stepmother accused his father of abuse. He would beg his step mother to let him live with her but she wasn’t able to. Dylann would be described to have obsessive compulsive tendencies with germs. In middle school he would stop caring about school and started smoking weed and drinking vodka. In nine years he would have attended seven schools. In 2010 he would drop out of Highschool and continue playing video games and smoking weed and drinking.
(The Roofs home)
In 2015 he was caught with an invalid prescription for suboxone at a mall to which he was banned from for a year. Later that year he was caught loitering in the mall to which they searched his car finding a forearm grip for a AR-15 semiautomatic rifle and six unloaded magazines capable of holding 40 rounds each but was let off it was legal in the state. Roofs Suboxone charge was mishandled and a system error took it as a misdemeanour instead of a felony. Which would have possibly prohibited him from purchasing the firearm.
(The flag of Rhodesia)
Later Dylann would look into the Trayvon Martin case and from an unknown article concluded Zimmerman was in the right. He then fell down a rabbit hole of black on white crime and misinformation. He then found 4chan and would find even more misinformation and hard right ideologies Dylann states he hasn’t been the same since that day. Which leads to his manifesto titled ‘The last Rhodesian’ Rhodesia being the African state founded in 1965 ran by primary Europeans and a white supremacy ideology before being abolished in 1979. The term now sticks with white supremac!sts like Dylann had became, as he also used the flag on his jacket. In preparation before the attack he looked up black churches and found the Emanuel Methodist Episcopal Church and would scout the area and ask around about mass times.
The shooting
(The Emanuel Methodist Episcopal Church)
June 15th 2015 somewhere around 8:00pm Dylann entered the church, once he did he was greeted by Rev.Pinckney and given a bible to study with. Roof was sat next to Pinckney as the study continued. As the study closed and the ending pray started Roof stood up and pulled out his Glock 41 .45 calibre handgun and began shooting. Killing Pinckney first. Then 26 year old Tywanza Sanders stood up to plead with Dylann before he said ‘I have to do it. You rape our women and you’re taking over our country and you have to go’ he then shot and k!lled Sharonda Singleton, Dr. Daniel L. Simmons, Ethel Lee Lance, Cynthia Hurd, Myra Tompson and Tywanza Sanders. Dylann would reload 5 times that day. Polly Shepherd was spared when he asked her if he shot her yet to which she replied no he then told her ‘good cause we need someone to survive because I’m gonna shoot myself and you’ll be the only survivor. He then turned the gun on himself realizing he was out of ammo. He then left the church to the surprise there wasn’t anyone outside. The next day the police confirmed the gunman was 21 year old Dylann Roof with witnesses reporting they saw him drive towards Shelby, a town close to Charleston. At 10:44am Roof was arrested at a traffic stop in Shelby where it was then confirmed he worked alone.
(The victims)
The Trial
Five days after the shooting the grand jury announced that Roof was being indicted for 33 federal charges.
12 counts hate crime against black people
12 counts obstructing the exercise of religion
9 counts murder using a firearm.
On June 6th Roof reportedly did not want to be trialed by jury and instead let the judge decide if he was guilty and if the death penalty was reasonable. August 23rd Roofs lawyers called the motion of death penalty unconstitutional and asked to reject the motion. On September 1st an on camera hearing was held in case of outbursts. December 7th 2016 the trial started. During a survivor statement Roofs mom collapsed as she had a heart attack. After 3 days of the trial FBI played a video on which he admitted to laughing and drinking while describing to friends how he’d shoot the church. To which his friend didn’t report to police and said he was drunk and took his keys and Glock that was on him. After 2 hours the jury found him guilty on all 33 charges. Roof wanting to plead guilty but told not to by lawyers.
(Roof at his video hearing)
January 10th 2017 Roof was sentenced to the death penalty, death by lethal injection.

Luigi Mangione is expected to face federal charges in the coming days — on top of the first-degree New York state murder charge he was hit with Tuesday, according to law enforcement sources. Sources told The Post federal prosecutors have secured an indictment from a grand jury against the 26-year-old, who allegedly gunned down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on a midtown Manhattan street on Dec. 4. Part of the reason the feds have pursued the case is because it could allow them to ask for the death penalty in the high-profile slaying, sources noted. New York got rid of the death penalty in 2004, but federal authorities can still push to ask juries to impose capital punishment in certain murder cases. It’s unclear what federal charges Mangione will face, or when the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York will unseal the indictment. A spokesperson for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office said the “state case will proceed in parallel with any federal case” in a statement to The Post.

───𝘊𝘜𝘗𝘐𝘋───ハイキュー!!
Tsukishima Kei(ハイキュー!!)x fem!reader
Word count: 1458
𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩
The wooden floor of the small stage creaked slightly under your feet as you walked toward the grand piano, located in the center of the stage. You did your best to avoid the critical gaze of the judges, who were seated in the red velvet seats in the front row. You pressed your sweaty hands against the soft fabric of your pleated skirt, wiping away the moisture before looking up. You squinted slightly at the bright spotlights that illuminated your face.
“Please state your name before we begin,” an assistant requested, holding a clipboard and pen in her hands.
You quickly introduced yourself, feeling the adrenaline begin to flow. You took a seat on the black leather stool, snapped your fingers to release the tension, and then turned your gaze toward the audience. They gestured with their hands, indicating for you to begin.
Your mind went over each note printed on the paper you had spread out on the music stand. With a deep sigh, your fingers began to move in sync over the delicate piano keys, creating a heated melody. You began Sergei Rachmaninoff’s “Piano Concerto No. 3,” immersing yourself in the complexity and beauty of the work.
The notes began to flow with an intensity that resonated in the silence of the auditorium. Each chord seemed to come to life, enveloping the room in a sonic blanket that ascended and transcended into an emotional experience. You let yourself be carried away by the music, allowing emotions to intertwine with each passage, as your fingers danced over the keys with grace and precision.
At the final climax of your performance, you launched yourself with all your might into a torrent of arpeggios and explosive chords, unleashing a torrent of sound that filled every corner of the room. The vibrations of the piano seemed to shake your soul. And suddenly, in an instant of magical suspension, the music faded away, leaving only the echo of the last notes, like a light breeze caressing the skin.
You culminated this musical journey with a thunderous final chord, a statement that resonated in your heart, accompanied by a sigh of relief as your shoulders relaxed. You were moved by emotion as the jury applauded, whether honestly or out of sheer politeness. You felt praised, and after a brief moment of gratitude, you stood up to say goodbye before joining your mother.
The two of you walked towards the center of town, and as you scanned the windows of the shops displaying their wares, your eyes stopped in front of a small jewelry store offering traditional accessories. “Mom,” you called, catching her attention. She, who was still distracted by her phone, paused, searching your eyes among the people who were crowding the streets. After a moment, she spotted you and walked back to your side, relieved.
You pointed at the shop before entering with her, feeling a renewed excitement that contrasted with the tension of the day. As you crossed the threshold, you were enveloped by the soft tinkling of bells and the warm scent of polished wood. The display cases were filled with exquisite pieces of jewelry and delicate accessories.
You approached one particular display case, admiring a necklace adorned with intricate motifs that reflected the local culture. “What do you think, Mom?” you asked, feeling like this little shopping moment was a way to celebrate your accomplishment while also taking a piece of Kyoto with you.
Your mother smiled, looking at the pieces appreciatively. “It’s beautiful,” she replied, “and it’s a perfect memento of your trip.”
You didn’t know how happy you were to be back home and how much you had missed school. Even though it had only been three days, you were eager to see your two best friends. You walked quickly through the halls until you reached the door to your classroom. You greeted a couple of classmates who were just beginning to take their seats at their desks and quickly made your way to yours. Nayuta and Hinata were engrossed in conversation, not noticing your presence until you dropped your bag on the desk and cleared your throat.
“I’m here!” you exclaimed, and Nayuta’s dark, thin eyes grew smaller as a smile spread across her face. Hinata jumped up, overjoyed. “Y/N!” he said, his voice echoing through the classroom.
“Hey,” you greeted, sitting down in the empty seat between them as you began rummaging through the gifts you had brought. Carefully, you placed them on their desks. They both thanked you before diving into what was in the bags.
“How did it go?” Hinata asked, undoing the ribbon that held his small gift bag closed.
“Pretty good, I guess,” you replied, resting your chin on your hand as you crossed your legs. “I was pretty nervous, but I think my presentation was decent. How are you guys? What happened while I was gone?”
“Nothing major really,” Nayuta replied, admiring her gift with a smile.
“Same here,” Hinata added, scratching the back of his neck. “We were so bored without you… Ah, I almost forgot! I need you to help me study,” the redhead asked, clasping his hands together in a pleading gesture.
“Why should I help you study?” you questioned, crossing your arms in a playful gesture.
“Because Tsukishima is an obnoxious teacher,” he confessed bluntly.
“Tsukishima helps you study? How is that possible?” Your disbelief was palpable. “Wow, the world must be about to end,” you joked, feeling like the situation was almost surreal.
“Takeda sensei said I have to improve my grades if I want to go to Tokyo with the team,” Hinata explained to you, looking away with a slight pout of frustration.
You sighed, pondering over his request. You had nothing to do, your grades were impeccable and you didn’t need to worry about studying. However, you wanted to keep your mind occupied until they announced who won the vacant spots for the orchestra. “Okay, I’ll help you,” you replied after a long silence, feeling like it was the right thing to do.
The day went on as usual, with classes preparing you for the exams. You helped Ukai as part of your job, but, for some reason, you and Tsukishima were avoiding any interaction with each other. You met Yachi, the cute and shy girl who signed up as a manager, and you were excited to have another girl on the team.
Standing in front of the club room door, you stared at it for a few minutes. Something about the small room was off-putting; maybe it was the smell, or maybe you just didn’t want to be there. But you had promised Hinata that you would help him study, and you were going to keep your word. You placed your hand on the doorknob, turning it slowly. The boys had told you to give them a minute to change before you entered, so you did so carefully.
“Can I come in now?” you asked, poking your head through the door.
“Yeah, sure, come in,” Sugawara replied in a friendly tone.
As you entered, you noticed that several of the boys were sitting on the floor. Ennoshita and Narita surrounded Tanaka and Nishinoya, who were sitting on the floor with exam papers in their hands. You weren’t surprised that they were about to fail as well. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi were sitting in front of Kageyama and Hinata.
You dropped your bag by the door and walked over to them. “How’s studying going?” you asked, trying to break the ice as you settled down on the floor next to Hinata.
“Terrible,” Tanaka replied with a dramatic gesture. “I’m sick of studying.”
“I assure you this can be a fun assignment if you try hard,” you tried to cheer them up. Hinata handed you her open notebook with the assignment he needed help with, but your brain went blank when you saw it was grammar, a subject you’d always struggled with. “I can’t help you,” you gave his notebook back with a quick gesture.
“What? Why?” the redhead exclaimed, looking at you in confusion.
“I’m terrible at this subject, really. Kanji is still a nightmare for me,” you explained, earning the attentive gaze of the boys in the room. The Japanese language, in terms of writing, was a complete labyrinth for those learning the language. “I’m sure you know more kanji than I do,” you added, convinced that it would be better to leave that task to someone else.
“But hey, I can help you with something else,” you said, placing a hand on Hinata’s shoulder to show your support.
“Well, then help that inept Kageyama memorize English vocabulary,” Tsukishima interrupted in an authoritative tone, pointing at Tobio with a pencil. “You must be good at English, at least, right?” His words had a dismissive undertone that you disliked.
You glanced at the sheet and realized that it wasn’t anything truly difficult; there were just a couple of present tense verbs and adjectives to form basic sentences. However, as you began to look over the words, you noticed that Kageyama seemed to have a hard time remembering even the simplest ones.
“Let’s start with this,” you said with a smile, pointing at the first word. “Do you know what ‘run’ means?”
Kageyama frowned. “Run?” he finally answered, though his tone was doubtful.
“Right! Very well,” you said, trying to instill confidence in him. “Now, try using it in a sentence.”
“I… run… tomorrow,” he tried, but his structure was confusing and unclear, reflecting the difficulties he had with the language.
“Almost, but it’s not right. In English, the subject should come first, followed by the verb. It should be ‘I will run tomorrow.’ Try again,” you suggested, watching frustration begin to build on his face.
Kageyama took a deep breath, as if he were bracing himself. “I… will run… tomorrow,” he tried again, but the lack of fluency was still evident.
“That’s it, but remember: ‘I will run tomorrow,’” you corrected him patiently. “Come on, Kageyama, you just need to practice a little more.”
As the minutes passed, although Kageyama tried hard, each attempt was more disappointing than the last. “This… ‘big’… does it mean big or small?” he asked, looking at your paper in confusion.
“It means big,” you clarified. “You can use it to describe things. For example, ‘The dog is big.’”
Kageyama nodded slowly, but his face was still a reflection of doubt. “How do you say ‘the dog is big’ in English?”
“It’s just what I just said: ‘The dog is big,’” you repeated, trying to remain calm. “Remember the structure: subject, verb, adjective.”
“Subject? Verb?” The confusion was still present in his expression, and you felt a little overwhelmed.
“Yes, the subject is the one who performs the action, and the verb is the action itself. In this case, ‘the dog’ is the subject and ‘is’ is the verb. ‘Big’ describes the subject,” you explained, trying to simplify it as much as possible.
Seeing his frustration, you decided to change focus. “Look, let’s try to approach it another way. Instead of focusing on grammar, let’s visualize the situation. Imagine you’re in a park and you see a big dog. What would you say?”
Kageyama stood there in thought, his gaze lost. “I… see… big… dog?” he tried, but the sentence still sounded choppy.
“Almost, but you need to be more direct. Use ‘I see a big dog’,” you corrected him, while searching for the vocabulary sheet among the papers scattered on the floor before handing it back to him. “Review this a little longer,” you suggested, noticing the redhead sighing tiredly.
You decided to approach where Hinata was sitting, who was studying with Tsukishima’s help. You observed both of them; Hinata seemed concentrated, while Tsukishima, with his usual critical attitude, explained something to him with precise gestures.
You looked at Hinata’s exam sheet, where it read: “Fill in the blank with the word that completes this saying,” along with the possible options. However, when you checked Hinata’s answer, you noticed that it was completely out of place. Tsukishima was quick to point out the mistake, showing his discontent.
“Do you really think that makes sense, Hinata?” Tsukishima commented, his tone a mix of disbelief and frustration. The conversation continued in this manner for quite a while, as the two of you argued over answers and grammatical structures. The daylight was slowly fading, and you realized that it had gotten darker than you had thought.
Finally, you decided it was time to head home. You walked through the streets, enjoying the cool night air. As you walked forward, you suddenly heard a voice calling out to you from behind. You stopped and turned around, only to be met by Tsukishima, who was approaching at a brisk pace. He stopped in front of you, catching his breath for a moment, his glasses misaligned from jogging and the tip of his nose taking on a slight pink hue from the chill of the night. You stared at each other for a moment in silence, until Tsukishima broke the stillness.
“I… I wanted to tell you that we should postpone our date to another date, because we won’t be in town for the festival,” he spoke quickly, making it a bit difficult to understand his words.
The date had completely slipped your mind. “Our date?” you asked, surprised, as the blond nodded slowly.
You shoved your hands into your jacket pockets, looking at the asphalt ground beneath your feet. “So, when is that okay?” you asked.
“Tomorrow,” he replied immediately, almost without pause. Your eyes widened in surprise; tomorrow was pretty soon.
“Tomorrow? That’s pretty fast,” you commented, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.
“If that’s not okay with you, we can find another date,” Tsukishima suggested, his tone a little softer than usual.
“No, that’s okay,” you stated, feeling the idea of seeing Tsukishima appealing. “Tomorrow sounds good.”
Just as you thought about saying goodbye and continuing on your way, Tsukishima gently stopped you. “Wait,” he said, his tone denoting some concern. “I’ll walk you home.”
“Really? No need, I can go by myself,” you replied, somewhat surprised by his offer.
“Don’t insist. It’s safer if you don’t walk alone at night,” he insisted, his gaze firm, but there was a hint of worry in his voice.
“It’s okay, if you insist,” you relented, allowing him to walk beside you. You fell into a quiet silence, and it still surprised you that he wanted to go out with you tomorrow. Although you wouldn’t have had a problem putting it off, there was something about his insistence that piqued your curiosity.
What you didn’t know was that Tsukishima was actually excited by the idea of spending time alone with you. He thought his ridiculous crush would fade after his confession, but his heart and mind grew restless every time he saw you. After learning that you liked him too, he really wanted to spend time with you, away from Yamaguchi and his annoying teammates, just you and him, no one else.
He glanced at you from the corner of his eye; your calm face was illuminated by the warm lights leaking from the windows of some shops. The strands of your hair brushed your cheeks, tempting him to reach out and tuck them behind your ear. Tsukishima Kei felt too much of a coward to do so at the moment, though. Hell, he didn’t even know how to flirt with you; his sly tongue always betrayed him whenever he tried to make some sarcastic comment towards you.
“It’s here,” your voice snapped him out of his thoughts, forcing him to stop in front of one of the houses in the neighborhood.
“I guess this is where we said goodbye,” he said, trying to keep a casual tone, though his heart was beating faster than usual. The thought of this being the last time he would see you that night made him uncomfortable.
“It seems so,” you replied, smiling. “Thanks for joining me.”
“You’re welcome,” he mumbled, looking down at the floor for a moment. It felt strange, like there was something else to say, something that was stuck in his throat.
“See you tomorrow, then,” you said, starting to turn to go inside. But before you could do so, Tsukishima stopped you with a question.
“Wait,” he said, his voice a little firmer than you expected. “Are you sure you want to go out with me tomorrow? I don’t want you to feel obligated.”
You stopped and looked into his eyes. “Of course I want to go out with you, Tsukishima. I’m excited about it.”
His cheeks flushed slightly, and though he tried to hide it, his gaze softened. “Okay, then. Tomorrow at six,” he stated, feeling, for the first time, the shyness fading a little at the possibility of a deeper connection with you.
“Perfect,” you smiled, feeling both happy and nervous. You turned around and started walking towards the door, but not without giving him one last look.
Tsukishima stood there for a moment, watching you walk away with a stupid smile on his face that he couldn't suppress.

The Dylann Roof case- In Depth
I DO NOT SUPPORT. THIS IS INFORMATIONAL!
Pls reblog incase I get trmed!
Dylann was born April 3rd 1994 to mother Amelia and father Franklin with 2 sisters Amber and Morgan. During early childhood his parents would divorce and his father would later remarry. His stepmother accused his father of abüse.
Which leads to his manifesto titled ‘The last Rhodesian’ Rhodesia being the African state founded in 1965 ran by primary Europeans and a white supr3macy ideology before being abolished in 1979. The term now sticks with white supremac!sts like Dylann had became, as he also used the flag on his jacket. In preparation before the attack he looked up black churches and found the Emanuel Methodist Episcopal Church and would scout the area and ask around about mass times.
June 15th 2015 somewhere around 8:00pm Dylann entered the church, once he did he was greeted by Rev.Pinckney and given a bible to study with. Roof was sat next to Pinckney as the study continued. As the study closed and the ending pray started Roof stood up and pulled out his Gl0ck 41 .45 calibre handgûn and began sh00ting. Killing Pinckney first. Then 26 year old Tywanza Sanders stood up to plead with Dylann before he said ‘I have to do it. You r4p3 our women and you’re taking over our country and you have to go’ he then wh0re and k!lled Sharonda Singleton, Dr. Daniel L. Simmons, Ethel Lee Lance, Cynthia Hurd, Myra Tompson and Tywanza Sanders. Dylann would reload 5 times that day. Polly Shepherd was spared when he asked her if he shot her yet to which she replied no he then told her ‘good cause we need someone to survive because I’m gonna sh00t myself and you’ll be the only survivor. He then turned the gûn on himself realizing he was out of ammo. He then left the church to the surprise there wasn’t anyone outside. The next day the police confirmed the gûnman was 21 year old Dylann Roof with witnesses reporting they saw him drive towards Shelby, a town close to Charleston. At 10:44am Roof was arrested at a traffic stop in Shelby where it was then confirmed he worked alone.
Five days after the sh00ting the grand jury announced that Roof was being indicted for 33 federal charges.
12 counts hate crime against black people
12 counts obstructing the exercise of religion
9 counts mûrd3r using a firearm.
On June 6th Roof reportedly did not want to be trialed by jury and instead let the judge decide if he was guilty and if the d3ath penalty was reasonable. August 23rd Roofs lawyers called the motion of d3ath penalty unconstitutional and asked to reject the motion. On September 1st an on camera hearing was held in case of outbursts. December 7th 2016 the trial started. During a survivor statement Roofs mom collapsed as she had a heart attack. After 3 days of the trial FBI played a video on which he admitted to laughing and drinking while describing to friends how he’d sh00t the church. To which his friend didn’t report to police and said he was drunk and took his keys and gl0ck that was on him. After 2 hours the jury found him guilty on all 33 charges. Roof wanting to plead guilty but told not to by lawyers.
January 10th 2027 Roof was sentenced to d3ath penalty, and d3ath by lethal injection.
