So reminder to everyone for the Bean Au Moon has always been New Moon. Which due to all the Nexus things puts more light on his Identity issues on being compared to Moon (fascinating too, i saw many people talk about that WAYYY before dark sun). Anyway recent comic where we do get KC squinting very hard about this Moon's growing issues about Old Moon. And we know me. Immediate father figure KC sitting there like 'Oh not another one'. A small tidbit of a thought cause I don't know what I'll do with this yet, similar with Earth and KC's comic. Conceptual but its there. Me remembering canon and going 'hmnnn i know its written as it goes but would've been interesting for THEM to have a talk.'

it breaks my heart how everyone in this fandom is so happy to forgive and forget terrible things old moon, eclipse, bloodmoon, ruin, puppet, monty, literally everyone else has done, but nexus is where they draw the line at the possibility of being 'redeemed'.

like, bloodmoon killin people? meh, whatever. ruin destroying 5000+ dimensions? he was doing it for the greater good, he can still be redeemed! eclipse terrorizing and trying to kill sun and moon over and over? well he's making an effort now and the way he was treated was bad, so it's all okay. old moon treating sun the way he did for so long? he's had time to think and is doing better now, he's a good guy!

but nexus- nope. almost killed earth as collateral damage (like he wasn't even aiming for her at all) so he is just an evil guy now and can't ever be helped.

like, dude was so happy in the beginning until all the expectations of being like old moon but better were shoved onto him. he did so much to make sure everyone was happy and safe, even tried to forgive and forget with ruin, only for ruin to have been lying the whole time. then he looses solar, tries everything to get him back, finds out the one way to do that but can't, goes into his head to talk to old moon who basically tells him to die for his family to keep them happy, goes back to trying to get solar back by killing blood moon who has done pretty much nothing but cause problems, but then everyone is like, 'yknow, the best thing do do right now would be to just lock him up!'. then sun comes along and tells the computer to just fuckin shock him if he uses star power, monty come by too and says he's gonna talk to old moon, nexus is like 'no, i refuse' and monty actually shocks him into unconsciousness anyways to do it. puppet and monty want to bring old moon back, which would basically get rid of nexus, but i guess they think when they kill its 'justified enough' (but nexus trying to bring back solar isn't justified to them for some reason). then nexus finally snaps and goes to get bloodmoon, puppet gets him first, and then they send nexus to space. he joins dark sun who acually treats him like his own person, starts using negative starpower which is very very harmful to him, and he has a new look now to show that he is in fact not just a different version of the old moon and is his own person.

but yes, he's' just going through a stupid emo phase hahaha.

EEEEEE just finished "Nexus ATTEMPTS TO KIDNAP SUN in VRChat" AAAAAAAA EEEEEEEEEEE YIPPIE THE ANGST YIPPIE YAY SO YUMMY I've been fed well. Just re-watched it twice, thank you thumbnail artist for locking in and putting so much thirst into the art. It quenched ME QUENCHEDDDD Nexus "I'm a big bad villain" also Nexus - doesn't hurt Sun or Solar, mostly just harasses them and acts all big and scwawy to intimidate them Nexus to Old Moon - cripples him physically and emotionally- EEHEEE Sun resisting the SIT command EEEEEE Sun's tiny little pleads "I'm sorry" and "I tried" and when Sun called Moon! He sounds so scared then Moon also sounded scared! Silly pookie called his bestie Monty to save his bro. Loving it. I don't like how Monty insulted Sun whilst saving him but HEY At least he's not kidnapped. Nexus being pumped full of lead was kind of funny taethyjr those star bullets really pack a punch I love when Sun resisted the NSP he was like "GET OFF ME" EEEhhhEEE WEEE Moon's little "Please be safe, Please be safe" then him running to Sun when he got home. What a good ep! What a good ep!!! intrigued how Nexus just chased Sun like a looney tunes or scooby doo bit. We know that Nexus can trap people, he trapped Solar before in his own room. He also can just zoom in and cripple ppl like with what he did to Moon. LMAO I also loved Ruin at the start wanting to stop Nexus from kidnapping Sun.

Then the Sun council forming from Lunar, Solar, and Monty to keep Sun safe. Love it, here for it, I can't wait for more. Sun also lying once again about being fine! Love it! Need more of it. I'm eating so well today!!!

Unrelated but I also stumbled back across the "What If Sun and Moon NEVER EXISTED?! In VRCHAT" vid and... I really wish that whole lonely God Monty thing was revisited. Sun saying he'll give Monty company in exchange for getting rid of Eclipse. (Or Monty could teach him magic again like he was saying since Eclipse isn't a big problem anymore. Or, hell, have something link back to that whole star power crap if Monty wasn't already killed by his Wither Storm. Starpower is creation and "the big bang" according to KC so maybe they can bring back Solar/reverse the multidimensional collapse with it. Somehow. AU idea right here, feel free to add on.)
