42 years ago... Soyuz 39 and Intercosmos Mongolia The March 1981 Soyuz 39 flight marked the eighth Intercosmos mission, this time with research cosmonaut Zhugderdemidiyn "Gurr" Gurragcha, the very first cosmonaut from Mongolia. It was the 2nd spaceflight for cosmonaut Vladimir Dzhanibekov as the crew stayed onboard the Salyut-6 space station conducting scientific experiments during a 7 days 20 hours mission. Note that Vladimir Dzhanibekov wore an Omega Speedmaster 861 chronograph underneath his Sokol spacesuit, a wristwatch he received in late 1973 as a support cosmonaut for the historic ASTP Apollo-Soyuz Test Project. 50 years ago... ASTP to Star City - Moscow

Between November 18 and December 1, 1973, the complete NASA group of astronauts visited the USSR. In June 1972, the project was named ASTP - Apollo Soyuz Test Project with an agreement that astronauts & cosmonauts would train equal time in the American & Russian training centers.

Already in October 1972, Thomas Stafford had visited the Star City cosmonauts training center North East of Moscow but this time all (backup) astronauts were present; Thomas Stafford, Vance Brand, Deke Slayton, Eugene Cernan, Alan Bean, Jack Lousma, Robert Overmyer, Ron Evans, and Karol Bobko.

Barry Allen x Male Reader

Request: Barry Allen (grant) x male kryptonian reader, reader saving barry and flying around with him while holding him at an embarrassing position.

Barry is out running through the city, fighting the criminals. He keeps running around the city then he runs into Mirror Master and his girlfriend. They broke into a bank but Barry tried to use his speed on them, but Mirror Master managed to slow down Barry. Barry tries to avoid his attacks. Top used her power on Barry and it started to work on him and he tried to snap out of it but couldn't.

You are flying around and you follow the police cars, they drive towards the bank. But you went faster, and you see Barry then you fly down. You picked him up then you used your heat vision, to stop Top and Mirror Master from escaping. You fly away holding Barry in a bridal style.

“Are you okay?” You asked.

“I'm getting there she used her power on me,” Barry said.

“I hate that. She used on me before and I almost fell off the roof” You said.

“It's kinda embarrassing, my boyfriend holding me like this,” Barry said.

“It's not embarrassing” You laughed.

“If Kara saw me like this, she wouldn't let it go” Barry smiled.

“She wouldn't. Plus no one would see us right now, Kara is busy and Clark is in another city” You said.

You and Barry laughed. You fly down on a roof, and you put him down. You and Barry can see the skyline of Central City. You face Barry then he pulls you into a kiss.

“Dinner?” You asked.

“Sure,” Barry said.

Before you can say another word, he used his speed to get dinner. Barry came back with food and he is smiling at you.

“I got your favorite milkshake” Barry smiled.

“Awesome” You smiled.

You and Barry sit down on the edge of the roof and start to eat.

“I’m glad, my boyfriend is back” Barry smiled.

You went away to help Oliver in Starcity. You and Barry start to drink the milkshakes, then he moves closer to you. He puts his hand on top of your hand, and he is smiling. You and Barry stare at each other then he leans in and kisses you on the lips. You start to kiss him back and he moves closer

“Let’s go home, Y/n,” Barry said.

“Yeah. Should I carry you home?” You smiled.

“I will run” Barry smiled.
