Alright my essay on the physics of Storm Bringer is done… for a certain interpretation of done. I wanted to get it to the people who actually want to read it since it’s not just for me, but I’m not totally happy with it and I didn’t cover everything I wanted to. I may post a continuation of it at some point but I’m not sure when, and it will likely not be in essay format.

I run that account with the daily movie quotes and youre the first to actually intersect with the village one and I saw that your account has reblogged a lot of stuff from the Village, and I just want to say I’m glad someone else appreciates M. Night Shyamalan’s underrated masterpiece.

Aaaahhh yes. I actually watched it cause it was in a slide show for my film producing and directing class. I can't believe not many people know of it.

For no reason other than I randomly watched the doc on Netflix about building the James Webb telescope, space is my new hyperfixation. Annoying bc I want to buy a telescope when we don’t have the money to atm. But I did wake up at 4 (idk why) and started watching the Perseid meteor shower on a livestream with 432 people who maybe also couldn’t sleep, who were maybe bored, who won’t be able to see it where they are bc of light pollution, etc. It doesn’t matter, but it was a comforting and sweet thought that we’re all watching together. It is supposed to peak this weekend, so go find a dark spot and see if you can watch sometime.

Look for the meteor on the right side. ☄️
