Opened in 1909 and nearly abandoned by the 1970s with its epic ghost stories retold in The Shining, The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, is a doorway to the other side. During my overnight stay, I heard voices, captured touching, an apparition and received both REM-POD and pendulum activity. My batteries drained, and my overall experience was creepy.

My Paranormal Bucket List

I have been to a few places on my list already, and I plan on writing a book on my travels and experiences. 

The Exorcist House - I didn’t go in, it has owners. Also Been to the places where the boy was taken during possession. The hospital part have been taken down. I also went to the church to where he was taken. I have pictures and will post.

The Lemp Mansion - Haven’t been inside it but will soon. I have some of the outside I will be posting. Picture is Lemp Brewery.

Alcatraz - This was one of the best place I’ve been too. Was there all day and it does have a creepy vibe. I will be making plans to go back and possibly doing a night tour. pictures will be posted.

Stanley Hotel - If you haven’t been I suggest you go. We walked around, wasn’t able to go on the tour got there too late. I plan on going back. Pictures will be posted.

For anyone who follows me but didn’t see my story, @itsmeneener and I celebrated our second anniversary this past weekend! We floated a few ideas around of what to do, but we both kept coming back to going to the famous Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, so that’s what we did! We had a great time hanging out and shopping in Estes Park, checking out the Aerial Tram, and we had an amazing time in the Hotel itself. So.. this happened tonight while we are staying at the #stanleyhotel in Estes Park #colorado For those of you who don't know, this is the hotel where they filmed #theshining movie staring Jack Nicholson. The best part is that they are just some random people from upstate New York totally getting into the "spirit". For those movie fans, we are standing outside of room 217. ❤️🗡️👫
