Stop what you're doing
and look at this video of Hong Kong protestors singing Do You Hear The People Sing at HK Airport
I come from a country born out of a peaceful revolution. I remember getting teary eyed every time I'd read about it or if my teachers/professors would tell me about their experiences during the revolution. I never thought I'd see one in my lifetime.
This is important, this is history, this is what happens when people who love their country are united. Stand with Hong Kong.

Hong Kong pro-democracy movement nominated for Nobel Peace Prize
US Senator Marco Rubio and Representative James McGovern have nominated Hong Kong pro-democracy movement for the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize. The co-chair and chair of Congressional-Executive Commission on China sent the Nobel Peace Prize Committee a nomination letter for the city’s “impressively organized and coherent, yet notably leaderless and flexible” protest movement. The prize, they said, shall honour “millions of people in Hong Kong whose bravery and determination have inspired the world.” Credit to the source

August 31, 2019 23:00 Prince Edward MTR Station, Hong Kong
Police trapped and attacked unarmed citizen in public transport
After Hong Kong Police banned August 31 protest march, protesters still took to the streets to protest against Hong Kong extradition bills and police brutality. At night, protesters moved to different districts in Hong Kong to do flash protests. At 23:00, the Special Tactical Contingent and Riot Police stormed inside the subway train in Prince Edward station, and started pepper spraying and beating ALL unarmed citizens inside. Some knelt and begged the police to stop but the police were unmoved and continued pepper spraying in closed space. They also chased and arrested multiple on the subway platform.

We seek for political settlement to end the violence that erupted following the anti-extradition bill in 2019. Human rights, political accountability and democracy should be introduced and put into the Hong Kong Police Ordinance. Police force is a major front on which these normative reforms were to take place. These reforms should seek to break the historical reliance of the political elite of Hong Kong/Mainland China on the police as an instrument of elite power and repression; to improve the account-and support the evolution of more a responsive, public-focused policing.
We implore the Permanent Court of Arbitration to take this crisis seriously and take immediate action to hold the HKPF to account. The Hong Kong government and the police force have completely failed to serve its people. It is only with the intervention of international organisations like the PCA, we will have a hope to restore order and peace on our streets in a place we call home.
===
For everyone who are concerned and worried about the non-stop police brutality towards Hong Kong protesters and citizens, you can lead a helping hand by requesting the PCA to inquire into Hong Kong police force.
If you hope to save a chance for Hong Kong to live, here is your time to help!
