'Calling all Whovians - this month marks the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who.
The series has seen 14 different time lords travel across time and space, encountering various fictional monsters and saving the world one Tardis trip at a time.
Much of the series was filmed in Wales, with famous places spotted in various guises by eagle-eyed viewers...
National Museum of Wales
The National Museum of Wales has been a stand-in for various art galleries and venues featured in Doctor Who, including the Musée D'Orsay in Paris and the International Gallery.
It featured in the show's 50th anniversary special The Day of the Doctor, which was shot in 3D and took five weeks to film.
St Fagans National Museum of History
The museum transports visitors back in time to various periods of Wales' history, so it made the perfect location for wartime episodes of Doctor Who.
It was the backdrop to David Tennant's adventure back to the eve of World War Two which aired in late 2006...
Southerndown beach
Southerndown Beach near Bridgend has featured in several episodes, but every Doctor Who fan will remember it for one of the series' most heartbreaking scenes.
In Doomsday, David Tennant's Doctor Who said a final farewell to Rose, played by Billie Piper...'

Pieces discovered at Llangors Crannog may be a royal tunic over 1,000 years old.
In early medieval times, the crannog, an island constructed in the lake, was the site of a royal llys or court.
Conservators have analysed these fragments and found that they are made of linen and silk. The tunic was once decorated with birds, lions and vine leaves.

hope ur ready to talk to strangers because we are going to the St Fagans National History Museum/The Museum of Welsh Life
the main attraction is the lovingly reconstructed buildings, ranging from 17th-century farmhouses to - most recently - a pub being rebuilt brick by brick from Cardiff. my favourite is the terrace of houses with each building furnished for a different time (from 1805 to 1985!).
in each building there are volunteers you are encouraged to interrogate for any details you might want to know. halfway through the buildings you could try some barabrith from the working bakery as a snack
after you've had your fill you can wander to the other side of the grounds to see the castle and accompanying gardens for a picnic. they're a genuinely strange example of british estate landscaping
Ok so you and I are meeting up. Maybe in your home territory, or maybe somewhere that you know well - don’t doxx yourself - but we are meeting up to explore something particularly. you are in charge of picking the museum, bog, weird antique store, bog, bookshop, bog, gallery, arboretum, botanical garden, show, or bog. Where are you showing me and why?

Wales (2) (3) (4) (5) by d0gwalker
Via Flickr:
(1) One of a series of animal sculptures on the wall separating Bute Park from Castle Street in Cardiff. The bear is one of the original sculptures created in the 1890s for the 3rd Marquess of Bute. (2) Bike stands outside the entrance building of St Fagans National Museum of History, Cardiff. Designed by architect Dale Owen of Percy Thomas Partnership and built 1968-74. (3) School of Biosciences, Cardiff University. Part of the Sir Martin Evans Building. (4) (5) Part of the late 19th century gothic revival renovations undertaken for the 3rd Marquess of Bute by architect William Burges. The Arab Room was completed in 1881 and is decorated in the Moorish style, with a gilded ceiling reminiscent of the Alhambra in Granada. The Banqueting Hall is decorated with scenes from the castle's medieval history.
