My interpretation of the Super Mario Timelines.

Before showing the timelines and explaining some strange decisions, just know Mario does not and never will have a cannon timeline. This I all just for fun. Read timelines from left to right for each row. (Example: Mario Land 2 takes place after Mario Bros 2.)

Now a few explanations and addendums; * Galaxy 2 is In Universe Fiction because it's Rosalina retelling the events of Galaxy 1 as a bedtime story to her Lumas. * Maker 2 is part of a main timeline due to its story mode.

* Mario Kart DS is the only sports game in the main timeline due to Queen Bee and a lack of Waluigi. * C+B is because that game crosses over two timelines. * The Donkey Kong games take place in Timeline K.

I never got why over the long history of Mario Kart (or other Mario spin offs) they never thought to include characters from the Wario Ware series or even Wario Land. They included some Kongs from the DK series a few times like Funky and Diddy in Mario kart and some more in the base ball games (Even a few of the Kremmlings) But they haven’t reached out to Wario’s series for something like this, and even DK characters have been scaled back in some of the titles past Wii.

Upon joining a Division I team, every participant must have insurance and undergo a medical examination before playing. But when it comes to protecting players, who generate billions of dollars every year, from having to pay unanticipated medical bills or ensuring they receive superior, impartial healthcare, there are no official NCAA provisions in place.

Thus, when a player is injured, nothing prevents the athletic director from refusing to pay related medical bills—which sometimes keep coming for years. The NCAA has a catastrophic injury fund that kicks in when personal deductibles exceed $90,000. Doughty's surgery would cost around $20,000. According to Ramogi Huma, president of the National College Players Association, schools are more likely to help cover costs if the player is high-profile and the injury is severe or public, such as the one Louisville's Kevin Ware suffered when he broke his leg during a 2013 March Madness game. "It comes down to the ethos of particular schools."

Many from low-income families are completely dependent on the school's healthcare system, which in some cases means being cared for solely by team doctors and trainers—many of whom may feel pressure to keep a team's healthcare costs low or to get an injured player back on the field. Several lawyers experienced in college sports point out that the relationship between athletes and team doctors is unique because the university, not the patient, does the hiring. The days are getting shorter and the end of the year is closing in, but it remains all hands on deck behind the scenes at GOHQ. Here's our monthly update!

Paul Kidby, as we speak, is working on new illustrations for the Obsidian Good Omens Illustrated Edition, as it whizzes its way to the typesetter. While we're not revealing his new work just yet, a reminder of some of the glorious art that originates from the initial illustrated edition:

A new edition of the Illustrated Good Omens you say 👀 (not to be confused with the GO Graphic Novel :D)

I love how the creators used Crosshair's Batch armor through Hunter's perspective as a marker for Hunter's evolution.

At the beginning of "The Return", Hunter is still wary of Crosshair's presence. There is blatant distrust, as called out by Cross himself, and obvious actions of Hunter "walking on egg shells" around the sniper. So, Crosshair receives his old Batch armor. It's shiny. It's pristine. Compared to Hunter and Wrecker's obvious scratch marks that can be seen even from a far shot, it could pass for brand new. Not a scuff on it because it's been protected in a case this whole time. Or so it looks that way when we first see him in it because all of the shots of him in it start as middle or far shots.

At first glance, looking from a distance, the armor has had it easy. The armor was taken care of. Protected, as I said earlier. It didn't have to face the rough nature of the new galaxy or not be able to be maintained properly due to limited resources. It didn't fight and scratch it's way to survival. This is how Hunter sees it. Each shot from "Hunter's perspective" of Crosshair in the first half of "The Return" is at a distance he is physically and emotionally putting between them. He's only seeing what he knows, what he perceives. What he thinks he knows about his brother's experience. That while Crosshair sat under the protection of the Empire, being taken care of, not fighting for survival, he and the rest of the squad had to claw their way through the galaxy.

It's envy. It's betrayal. It's disgust. And the pristine armor of an old era throws this in his face every time he looks at it since Crosshair walked down the ramp of the Marauder.

But then Crosshair says he killed an imperial officer. They finally let the emotions fly. The two brothers finally have the bridge laid out for them to cross, and after the Wyrm attacks, the shots of Crosshair from Hunter's perspective are closer (both the camera is closer to Crosshair, and Hunter is physically closer to him) and the ware on the armor is evident. The scratches. The dents. The warn paint. Hunter even glances down at it when they sit on the ice, as if he's actually seeing or registering it for the first time. That his brother wasn't protected and he wasn't taken care of. That those scratches they earned together in an old era are still there, but now that armor sports some new scratches they earned together in this new one.

And maybe there's hope for them yet.
