#Spirit Animals by Brandon Mull

Hi, I don't know if you remember me, but I was the girl who dropped in about Spirit Animals sometime last year. I was wondering 2 things:

One, and pardon my blunt asking, are you a girl?

And two, would it be safe/sensible to try and start a Spirit Animals community? I think there's like five of us, so it might not be brilliant. Plus, I can't spare much, if any, spare time to contribute content for such a community.

I just wondered because I keep getting nostalgia for the series, my brain comes up with wacky crossovers for my Keeper from the game, and I - guess I'm feeling lonely in the fandom.

I don't see a problem with starting a community for the series. Me personally, I'm not particularly active in the community and will only rarely pop in when the mood strikes me. But I also haven't left it entirely, either.

But if you want to start a community, go right ahead! I can't really contribute much other than going bananas at random intervals, but I can still give my support!✨✨

⛧°。 ⋆༺♱༻⋆。 °⛧ I really miss my bookworm era when I was 11/12 years old. I hread all of Brandon Mull's books with my friend. We were so obsessed that we talked about our theories etc. Especially "Fairy Haven" and "Dragon Guard". I swear I read all of Brandon's books in my elementary school library and The Candy War ahhh I remember it was very good!! And now I can't read more than 20 minutes BC EVERYTHING DISTRACTS ME!!! so I just can't read like I used to (maybe it's because of my adhd, but still) and it makes me very upset and sad( ​​｡ •̀ ᴖ •́ ｡) જ⁀જ⁀જ⁀જ⁀જ⁀જ⁀જ⁀જ⁀જ⁀જ⁀જ⁀જ⁀જ⁀➴

if you haven’t yet figured out what piece of media i latched onto at an early age and love and adore to this day, it’s spirit animals! it’s a pretty awesome book series started by brandon mull and continued by various other authors. you’ll come to find that most of what goes on around here relates somehow to the series.

if you ARE familiar with it, here’s some quick facts about me:

• my favourites are devin and rollan (one of these isn’t too hard to figure out, i guess)

• my favourite book in the first series is hunted, and as for the second series, my favourite would have to be either broken ground or the wildcat’s claw.

• i LOVE yapping about ANYTHING related to these books.

if you have no idea what any of that was about, or just want to get to know me, here’s some additional fun facts!

• my pronouns are pretty much whatever you want them to be.

• i’m a writer! and an artist… sometimes. when i’m feeling good.

• my favourite animals are horses. neigh. i also love talking about these guys.

• i also gush over fish. and birds. they make me smile.

• i tend to listen to emo rock bands. but also musicals. and also vocaloid. i’m a little all over the place.

• my favourite author is leigh bardugo. forever changed my standards for books.

Full disclosure I’ve only read the first novel in the series, and that was wayyy back in middle school.

The trencle was sweet like berries. Almost like drinking syrup but the undertone of citrus made it bearable.

My family smiled at me. We didn’t all have spirit animals. My mother didn’t. My father didn’t. But both my sisters and my grandmother did. This made my fate very uncertain.

My grandmother had a bobcat. Wise and tranquil. Untamable, untouchable. Based on the stories, this demeanor came with age and in their youth my grandmother and her bobcat were once the tricksters and troublemakers of the town.

My eldest sister had a dog. A female pit-bull with black fur and black eyes. At first sight, very scary, but she was really a sweetheart. She had a beautiful coat and people often remarked that the beauty was what connected them. I personally believe it’s their loyalty. How both of them would do anything for the people they love.

My second sister had a wild boar. A fearsome thing that only listens to her. She was strong. And although she had the more dangerous of the two animals, I found she was much sweeter than my oldest sister.

The back of my throat burned, the seconds thumped by.

They all said if I got one it would be small. Soft. A squirrel, a rabbit, a field mouse.

The sky began to cloud over.

Any moment now I expected any kind of rodent or small mammal to shuffle out of the grass.

It was no rat.

It wasn’t even a cat.

Down from the sky she came.

A large female black vulture.

Ghost & Guardian connection HC

Okay I remembered this passage from one of my favorite book series and well have fun reading this.

Guardians who loses their Ghost will feel like they lost a part of them and this feeling will never go away even if another Ghost decides to be their Ghost. But if they Ghost belonged to someone else then it will lessen the feeling. In the case of Shin Malfur where a Ghost who can't bring their Guardian back goes and revives someone else then that new Guardian will not feel the connection, unless that Guardian is the one who the Ghost is supposed to be with.

My nieces and nephews are finally of book reading age. So it looks like I'm going to be reading a bunch of kids books in the near future. I'm thinking of starting with a series called spirit animals does anyone know if that's a good series for kids??

I really enjoy wild born more than I thought I would. Definetely worth a read. It actually managed to surprise me a little and I look forward to finish it
