(he has since then gained the confidence to manhandle you.)

he didn't think you actually wanted to- you both sat in his room, on his small shitty bed, smoking out the window late at night. at that point, you'd made this a habit with him, it was the one moment of peace you both got each day.

it was always calm here. just the sounds of cars passing by, music droning softly from one of your phones usually- just to keep the "vibe". even in the small room, on a shitty mattress, you enjoyed your time together in easy silence.

sometimes though, you'd feel his eyes rake over your form- you'd play it off as a casual glance, but the way your body warmed at his jeweled gaze...it made you question things later at night. but you never brought it up.

the haze of smoke blankets the room heavily, catching flickers of the neon city lights from a distance. it always did look pretty out here, even from the run-down hideout.

one night, he opened the pack of cigarettes with a frown. you sat on his bed, looking into the box- just one left. maybe staring a bit would make another appear.

it didn't.

it was far too late to run out for more now, and you were both tired. you looked at him and pulled the dart from the box, nodding to him to light it. reluctantly, he presses his thumb to the end, a small flickering blue light singeing the tightly-rolled tobacco.

you bring it to your lips, taking a long drag with closed eyes. you bring yourself closer to him, cupping his cheek gently. "open your mouth," a small fluttering of smoke follows your words, and his eyes widen only slightly. hesitantly, his lips part.

as you're exhaling the smoke, he's breathing it in. you repeat this, his sapphire eyes falling half-closed as his heart races.

you're not even an inch away, your noses keep grazing each other as you swap smoke. each drag brings you closer, until he gets tired of it.

he brings you into his lap, muttering something about "wasting precious smoke", and you snake your legs around him.

the cigarette burns down to it's last hit, and you press the tip of it to his lips. he takes the final drag, his chest rising against your hand.

you mimic him now, parting your lips slightly, and he blows the smoke slowly into your mouth.

as you inhale the tail-end of the smoke, he grabs your face and leans in, pressing his lips into yours softly.

there's a taste beyond the smoke to his lips, something akin to citrus and mint.

you slip your tongue into his mouth, the smoke now billowing around the both of you as your breathing quickens, his hands gently tangling in your hair. you wrap your arms around him, emitting a soft moan from the man as he tastes you.

his hands are warm, but they're also much softer as they hold you. gentler. as if he's cautious- or holding himself back.

the heat rises between the both of you, and you graze your nails into his back gently.

he cant stop himself now. he pushes you down against the mattress, and you watch as the city lights catch his eyes before he peppers kisses down your jaw and neck, his hands dug into he bed on either side of you.

his kisses are purposeful, but not aggressive as he envelops you, and from there... the rest is history.

it becomes an unspoken rule between you two that you share one cigarette from now on.

you and spinner had bonded unusually well. you spent all your free time together.

you'd always sit next to each other during meetings, played games together (sometimes with shiggy- that cockblock lol), would even read manga or novels quietly together late at night on the old couch, huddled up to each other for warmth.

but...he genuinely didn't know why.

one night, he asks you bluntly, "why do you like me so much?"

he wasn't trying to be like that. hell, he just wanted to know why here, of all places, he had more friends than he ever did outside. especially with someone like you.

because to him, you were farrrr out of his league. you're ambitious, proud, strong...pretty. and he explained this to you, under the glow of the game start menu, big ruby eyes shining with apprehension.

and when you grab his hand, intertwining your fingers with his, his heart jumps. and slowly, he clasps his fingers against yours, little claws brushing against your skin.

and you tell him everything you like about him. his courage, his loving nature, his jokes... all the fun you two had gaming and hanging out...how he became a warmth in cold places. god, you could go on.

but his head still hangs low, nervously chewing at his lip, messy orchid hair falling around his face a bit.

you shake your head, knowing you can't explain it any better than that. well, you can, but...no, fuck it.

you grab at his jaw, pressing your lips firmly onto his.

he's surprisingly soft. his skin, well- his scales- is a pleasant texture. smooth and supple. there wasn't a good way to describe it, but you liked it.

a lot.

god, and he smells so nice. its kind of tropical, like coconut and sandalwood, a warm bonfire on the beach almost.

meanwhile, he's overcome with feelings of shock, excitement, bewilderment. his nails dig further into your hand as he leans in, not missing the opportunity to finally fucking kiss you. after months of pining, trying so hard to just be friends.

everything is so soft, so gentle, and yet you cant help the pounding in your heart as you realize what's happening.

his tongue darts into your mouth without thinking- he just wants to taste you more. wants to be closer. you fall back into the couch as he brings himself above you. its a bit rushed, a bit shaky, but you can tell he's trying so hard to be "chill".

much like shigaraki, spinner is pent up. he's never done this before, he's so nervous, he's so turned on, oh my god... and so he presses himself firmly against you, against better judgement, unable to control his racing thoughts.

as you both pull away for a breath, you trail your fingers down his spine, his tail swinging slowly as he smiles down at you, blushing heavily.

"is that enough of an answer for you?"

"no, no, i think i need a little clarification" he smiles as he leans back in, not at all giving up this moment.

from now on, every time you hear that opening theme for that game, you get turned on.

if there was one thing tomura was good at, my god, it was pissing you off.

he'd deliberately tease you all the time by hiding your things on tall shelves, stealing your snacks and clothes, basically laying claim on all of your items.

the worst of it was when you watched him as he entered your room, grabbed a hoodie from the hanger, put it on in front of you, and left without a word.

"shiggy, what the fuck, give it back!" you shout at him down the hall as he slumps back towards his room.

"nope, i'm cold and all mine are dirty."

"so go do laundry, you weirdo!" you grab him by the hood before he has a chance to close his door, and he chokes a bit with a laugh as he stumbles backwards.

he finds amusement in your frustration, and mocks you further as he turns around, wrapping his arms around himself to prevent you from stealing the hoodie off his back.

"what are you gonna do, noob?" he makes a stupid face as he laughs, and you huff and try and grab at the hoodie.

"come on, dude, you're gonna get all your gamer stink on my clothes" you fake whine as you chase him, his lanky figure handing him an advantage.

you've got him now- he's cornered in the hall. you lunge and begin to wrestle, eventually tumbling onto the floor in the hallway. you shriek as he tugs your hair, and you pinch his side tightly. the sound he manages to make is barely human, and you laugh a little too hard, letting go and falling into him.

he laughs, his raspy voice lightening as he squints up at you. "you're such a sweat. you own like, eighty hoodies anyways."

you scoff and roll your eyes. "stop fucking around and just give it back"

he shakes his head and challenges you further, his crimson eyes batting up at you with a smug look. he wiggles his fingers as if casting a spell, "you want me soooo bad, oooh." he does his best to keep a straight face as he continues, "you want me, so now you're begging me to take my clothes off oooh".

"they're MY clothes, shig!" you argue as you start pulling the hoodie strings.

he doesn't give a fuck about what you're saying, cause he just keeps going. "you wanna kiss me sooo bad. you're in loveee with me"

yeah, no, he's right. but he doesn't know that-he's just trying you to give him your usual "ew, fuck off" response, and leave him be. too bad now, because you decide to fight fire with fire.

"yeah, you're right." you retaliate, pressing your lips into his before he has a chance to respond. he hiccups in panic, his breath hitching in his chest. his breath is heavy with the taste of energy drinks- its sweet, its actually kind of...nice?

but he was clearly panicking, because his lips are pressed so tightly into a pout, it's kind of pathetic. so you pull away, gauging his reaction-he didn't like that you stopped. he pulls you back in, this kiss hungrier, his lips parting to push his tongue into your mouth desperately.

when you pull away to catch your breaths, you both stand and he drags you into his bedroom, pressing you against his door. he grinds against you with a soft moan, the sounds of his discord chat still going off on his headphones. oops!

when you finish making out (and he's definitely ruined his sweatpants) he asks you if you were serious.

"no, of course not. yes, you fucking idiot."

despite his seemingly rough exterior, Spinner is very deeply empathetic and gentle towards those he cares about, and that is definitely evident within your relationship. he's always gifting you small, stolen trinkets that he thinks you'll like, always lending you clothes, and is very much prone to acts of service.

one of his main ways of showing affection is through quality time, or simply offering to hangout with you! he loves playing video games with you, and you guys definitely have a shared minecraft world and animal crossing village.

whether you're in the LOV or not, he absolutely wants you to meet them. they're his family, the people he feels most himself around, and cares deeply for them as well. if you're already a part of the leavue, that's even better! he loves hanging out with you and his family, its just so special to him and yet another way he shows how much he cares

GIFT!!! GIVER!!!! you cannot tell me Spinner would not give you his heart on a platter if you let him. along with this, i feel as though he'd really enjoy cooking for you or cooking with you, even if it does end up being disastrous. sure, he ends up making inedible concoctions half the time, but as he progresses he gets much better at cooking !!!

this is a bit more mellow, but i think Spinner struggles a lot with physical appearances and fitting in with societal expectations a lot. he's always a bit nervous that his looks may deter you, but that only means that he finds your acts of affection and praise more meaningful. he really likes it when you kiss his nose or hands, and the first time you do it he probably cries :( i also think he's a bit nervous to hold hands with you since he's worried that you'll dislike the texture or that he'll accidentally hurt you.. please reassure him !!!

yk how lizards can regulate their body temperature using their external environment? on cold nights he gets especially clingy, desperate for your warmth. much like the rest of the league, Spinner doesn't sleep very well, however he always sleeps best when he's at your side. he really likes skin to skin contact for that reason, not even sexually, but just because the feeling of your warmth against him calms him down

another way he'd show affection is simply by opening up to you. he doesn't do so very often, but when he does its incredibly heartfelt. he really likes psychological discussions, especially about topics such as Stains ideology and hero society. he's a lot smarter than he lets on and loves talking to you. i also think he's a writer as well, he loves writing as a form of expression and would write you love letters and little notes throughout the day, especially early on in the relationship when he isn't as good at expressing his feelings verbally

overall, Spinner seems tough, but he's pretty much a big sweetheart. he cares about you a lot, and tries to make an effort to show it as much as he possibly can.

MORE SPINNER HCS

i’m dealing with art block now… so i once again made some more headcanons for spinner in lieu of actual doodles, and i’m in the mood to share (can you tell i’ve reread the MLA arc recently)

≫ He’s really a short and stocky kind of guy (he’s 5’6 now because I’m trying to fully lean into the short and stocky/short king kind of thing). this is a modified HC, bc i used to draw and describe his body type differently.

≫ He knows his way around blades, throwing knives are more his specialty, melee knives being second seeing as he’s not as good as Toga. The katana is his least tempered skill.

≫ Don’t tell the league.. But Spinner can work a crossbow really well (i saw this HC first from @autumnmobile12 and fell in love with it). He really hates it though so he doesn’t pick it up in battle. He also never put that on his resume, so he’s not keen on getting yelled at. Though one time the league were in a sticky situation and there happened to be a crossbow in the vicinity so Spinner picked one up and started firing — yes the entire league yelled at him for not saying something sooner.

≫ When they were out of a home during the MLA arc, he and Shigaraki went to Compress to hold their consoles and switches. All of that relocating until they finally squatted near Deika made it obviously hard to pack and carry, so what better than to use Compress!!

≫ (this one i’ve modified) There’s the joke going around the league that Spinner’s arms are a one of a kind asset CAUSE THEY ARE. They’re real toned, perfect for lugging around 20 or so blades attached to one sword like a psychopath. He’s quite the gym connoisseur (let’s not use gym rat or I’ll rip my eyes and hair out) but more than anything it’s casual, an almost daily kind of casual but YOU GET THE POINT... He’s not trying to break records, just stay fit and on top of it — it just so happens to be that he builds muscle easier.

≫ Spinner isn’t cold blooded but he might as well be, his body temperature is just cooler than the average person which makes it hard to warm up, plus he’s anemic (his dad is coldblooded however, but he passed that trait to his sisters, Shuichi just didn’t get it). It just so happens that Dabi is a human heater and he needs a good cool down after he works his flames some ridiculous amount, so Spinner uses Dabi as a heat pad and Dabi uses Spinner as a cooling pad.

≫ Spinner used to have a tail, then he cut it off. There was the prejudice, then the tail getting in his way. Needless to say living without a tail threw off his balance for a good while.

≫ Ever since Spinner joined the league, he’s used his quirk for even the most menial tasks. Someone tells him to run some errands and he’s going out through one window and back in through another. It’s efficient! Windows are usually a common entry and exit point for him now, whereas before joining the league, he entered and exited through the door like a “normal” person because of, again, the prejudice surrounding his heteromorphic traits.

dabi: i think since he's a bit of an asshole he would at first try to some sort of... tease you about it? he's so nonchalant and aloof about any crap in his life, he assumes everyone around him are the same. well, it sure does sound like he's straight up mocking you, so when he sees how much this whole situation truly hurts you he finally stops. he doesn't like seeing you in pain, he claims that he doesn't care, but yeah he does. also, out of the three he's the best companion for a revenge. don't get me wrong, he'll happily help, but he won't do anything himself. this has some deeper meaning actually rather than his laziness. he believes it is important to not take the satisfaction from you, he knows the importance of this firsthand. this revenge is yours to take, it's your moment of pride. it's his gift for you, if you will. he'll help with planning everything tho. he's calculating and calm when he needs to be; very patient and can teach you a thing or two about waiting for the exactly right moment. sometimes he's almost too slow for your liking, but on the other hand everything he'd planned for you goes exactly like he predicted, so you better listen. due to his sadistic nature, he's not above playing with the victim, and he will teach you that too. big fan of creating suspense, some sort of pressure. like those old hollywood noir films come to mind. he will absolutely help to scare your poor ex from the shadows, slowly driving him crazy with anxiety. not only is he proud of your dark side shining so brightly, but he really finds it fun. depends on you, if you want for things to get really violent or not, but he'll at least try to persuade you to let go and enjoy the ride. and if you listen to him, things can get messy (only slightly, bc dabi really enjoys clean work and he's too lazy to go after anybody else than this scumbag). shigaraki could be annoyed for a day or two, but... actually, no, he won't be pissed at all. great job you two.

shigaraki: oh. he's beyond excited. not because of your suffering, of course, but bc now The Real Game begins. has his own ways to comfort you, the most obvious one being trashing you ex with the most degrading insults you may only think of. will never let you think that was your fault, he literally feels his blood boil every time he hears something like that. you don't even have to ask him to help you, one day he's suddenly in your room with an insanely throughout plan and most batshit crazy glimmer in his eyes, so you better take the chance while you can. he finds great joy in helping you by planning everything for you, it really is a new game to him. but this time he's doing it for a friend, for someone he finds dear, so he kinda wants to take the burden off your shoulders. unlike dabi, he will get involved directly in this mess, he doesn't think he's taking anything from you - quite the opposite. he's given you the opportunity. and, he probably won't admit it, but he's really willing to do all the work for you, if it's too painful for you now. he doesn't want to, but he could. buuut, he'd still rather wait (even though he's not a fan of waiting) and you do the main act yourself. he's not patient at all tho. he also prefers the revenge to be fast and brutal. not a fan of theatrics, he's a straight to a point kind of guy. also, unlike dabi, he absolutely will go after every single one person involved, jesus christ even your ex's parents included, this whole thing gets soooo messy omg. at some point it really feels like the whole city knows you were cheated on. he doesn't find it embarrassing at all, there's nothing to be ashamed of. at the very end, you'll be the one who's having the last laugh, so he's kinda right. whether you like it or not, things will get really violent when he's involved, and he won't stop until the last person who had offended you is down. he's like a hell hound, some sort of a death reaper. and even if your ex thinks he can escape, because he's the last in shigaraki's list, well... not really. no one can run away from shigaraki tomura, and in the end you find great satisfaction in this knowledge.

spinner: the only decent one who at least tries (once) to convince you not to do it. he does this mostly on autopilot, because he's a considerate friend. he feels nothing towards that shithead, but he's worried that you would regret it later. actually, the only one that expresses his worries about you to you, verbally. he's surprisingly good at communicating his feelings, and he feels awful for you, he really-really does. he doesn't want to make it even worse (even though he really wants to throw some particularly heavy things at some faces). when he's finally sure you won't change your mind, he's all about business. he's not a big fan of a bloodbath, but he believes in power public humiliation holds. sadly, he knows it firsthand. he's very meticious with all the blackmail and he's great with timing. the cleanest work one could imagine (only dabi compares, but he has understandably more experience). he too is great in driving your ex crazy with anxiety, but in a much more subtle way. he won't scare anyone directly, but his actions create a very negative, anxious environment to your ex. the whole thing is building up rather slowly, but consictently. if you want things to go a little more bloody, spinner may ask dabi or shigaraki for help actually, without revealing the main reason. it's still less messy if the whole gang was involved, but now it's definitely much scarier for your ex. he will set traps and will get your ex recorded, he will collect every piece of information he could find, and he will reveal it at the right moment. he's not above some fake leaks either - everything will work. he would definitely make sure that almost everyone in city knows your ex's dirty laundry. it's so not pretty in general, bc believe it or not, spinner is great at understanding people and how they think and behave. he knows that the crowd is always hungry and all he needs to do is to throw it a bone. it may even look like he's not done much, because it's your ex's surroundings who are tearing him apart, not you or spinner. as i said, he's not at all as sadistic as those two above, but he too will find some sick sort of enjoyment at the end. he really, really knows how it feels, and he knows very well that death can feel like a much more merciful option. living with such hate is a lot harder, than just dying, and spinner just proved you that.

Dad!Spinner Headcanons pt. 2

Okay so first of all, Spinner does not have a lot of money

The little income he gets is from the League or from what he steals then pawns off

Mostly that money will go towards food and clothes for his little one

“It’s getting chilly outside. They’re going to need a new jacket…”

Spinner will mumble certain things like that while flipping through his mostly empty wallet

Mag was the only one who really felt for Spinner, and he misses the days when he could vent to her about how impossible it would be to have a kid in a world like this

Surprise visits to the tiny apartment you were given by Dr. Garaki always made the kid’s day

Although Spinner would usually show up with a new injury that you would have to tend to

And while you would be dabbing disinfecting a bad cut on his arm, the tiny version of him would be crawling all over him, wanting to tell their father any and everything they’ve learned while he’s been away

Other parents might be annoyed by that, but Spinner honestly didn’t care

He didn’t get to see his little family everyday like other fathers get to

Still, Spinner really tries to make up for it

Sometimes, when he gets really lucky, he’ll get a whole weekend with you and the little one

Spinner will treat his kid in the Daiso store, which was very cost friendly since he was always on a tight budget

The whole time though his fingers will be intertwined with yours

You’ll look at each other sweetly as your little one toddles up ahead with a plushy of Charmander bigger than they are

Spinner never has the heart to say no to their kid when they want something Pokémon related

Sometimes he thinks about you and him having another baby sometime, and it wouldn’t be a lie if he said that he hasn’t talked about it at least once with you

At night, when you’re all settled back in at home, Spinner normally likes to take on the duty of getting his kid ready for bed

That means a bath, brushing their teeth, and getting them tucked in all after dinner

Yall ever think about the league members’ reactions to seeing Tomura without his father’s hand on his face for the first time? Because I’m sure he didn’t warn them any time he took it off, and im sure at least a few of them got a glimpse before he started doing it regularly.

Like, imagine Compress walking into a room at the same time Tomura took the hand off to itch his forehead or something, and Compress immediately throwing himself back out the doorway in shock and having to take a couple deep breaths in the hallway because no, they’re not being infiltrated, it’s their loser boss.

Spinner getting a glass of water in the middle of the night and screaming when some corpse-like guy with red eyes also comes in for a glass of water.

Tomura going to wake Dabi because he slept too far into the evening, the doorway comically flashing blue, then him walking back out without his hoodie and bearing soot stains on his face. He thinks Dabi is just being a prick. Dabi, on the other hand, had not felt that fearful where the fuck did I just wake up and who the fuck are you feeling in years, but of course his creepy boss was the one to make it happen, fuck the whole league.

Even Toga pausing and looking extremely disgusted at the unidentified man sitting in the bar, before her brain processes that she’s staring at her friend and she goes to tease him about the cute little beauty mark under his lip. Tomura is wildly confused and doesn’t know if he should take that whiplash reaction as a threat. He doesn’t sleep that night.

Spinner is genuinely convinced that he isn't loveable, purely based on his appearance. to him, he's ugly, an eyesore, someone even people with similar quirks to him would find revolting

So the idea of getting in a relationship, or even having someone be somewhat interested in him seemed impossible

so when you came into the league, he was almost embarrassed to be around you because you were just so pretty

but you quickly found just from hearing about him or hearing him speak with the others that he's a great dude, and you wanted to get to know him better

spinner tries to be confident around you, but it's hard.

months later, when you're confessing to him, he laughs because he thinks you're pranking him. but you're serious, you tell him how amazing and kind and beautiful he is, and he's literally speechless

he genuinely wants to cry, but he doesn't, and he hugs you and says he likes you too

you slowly but surely help him gain confidence in himself. being in the league helps him find himself too, but you are his biggest support and he comes to find he'd be lost without you

spinner loves hard, once he loves you there's barely another thought in his brain, he's consumed with your very being

he worships the ground you walk on practically

he's genuinely such a good boyfriend even without any experience because every single intention he has with you is with your happiness in mind. if he were to die he knows his final thoughts would be of you

he brags about you to everyone he knows (the league, as if they don't know you already). he loves that they simply cannot know you like he does, that your deepest darkest secrets are reserved for him

he is very protective of you, he loves to look cool and 'heroic' (ironic), even if you're stronger than him.

when around others, he can be more casual about your relationship. part of it is he's embarrassed to be seen so soft, and he also doesn't want you to feel embarrassed by him. but he never pushes you away if you want attention

he calls you sweet names, like baby or sweetie, if you're a girl or just like the name he'd probably call you princess

sex scares him a little, so that's up to you to take control of

he's a sub leaning switch

he loves when you wear his costume around

he'd probably want to get you both something matching to wear

when not busy, he likes taking you out on little dates, like to the movies or an arcade

he would definitely set you up a little picnic here and there

genuinely spinner is just such a great and sweet boyfriend, you're so lucky to have him

SPINNER HEADCANONS!!!

≫ Second shortest in the LOV at 5’7

≫ He got his silly haircut from Dabi. Shuichi’s hair was getting a little too long and he didn’t know what to do with it until Dabi was the one who suggested he cut it and even try something new. Needless to say Spinner really liked it, way more than he wanted to admit. The reason one of his side pieces are smaller than the other was because Spinner moved while getting them cut from a fly and Dabi accidentally cut one too high. He fixed it with finesse but it didn’t mean Dabi wasn’t pissed that Shuichi couldn’t stay still over a fly.

≫ He’s got ectomorphic build with broad-ish shoulders, sculpted arms, and a slim torso.

≫ Spinner got his hair singed once by Dabi, and the flame user had to pat the flames down himself, it was super obnoxious, and half of the time it was Dabi slapping the top of his head just because he had the chance to.

≫ Shuichi paints 3 nails black on each finger, his thumb, his middle and ring finger, it just looks stylish that way to him

≫ There’s the joke going around the league that Spinner’s arms are a one of a kind asset, CAUSE THEY ARE. They’re just real toned perfect for carrying a sword strapped with a whopping 20 or so blades.. he looks good in sleeveless shirts, trust.. despite that he falls back on his hoodies and short sleeves for casual wear. he’s a gym goer! not a gym rat though..

took inspo from @leagueofidiots w/ the tongue fact it gave… WANTED TO GO FOR ALMOST TWO FEET BUT I COULDN’T FIT ALLAT ON THE CANVAS.
