I also went back to the blog to see if those posts were still there so I could take better screenshots (they weren't; hooray reporting things for spam) but upon further scrolling I realized that every tagged post. I think it's the 'alberta' tag that really makes it for me here. The 'nebraska' as well. The latter I assume is from the title of one of Ethel Cain's songs, which would explain... to some degree... how it got there. Why 'alberta' though? Why this picture, out of all of them? Is it actually from Alberta? (It could be; I've seen similar looking things) If it's from Alberta, why is it also tagged 'saskatchewan'? 'kansas'? 'appalachia'? 'southern gothic'? Do not each of these preclude all others? If it's Saskatchewan or Albertan, why is it tagged 'americana'?? Is it for views??? If you want it seen, it's already got the tags! Regional and rural gothic are fine! They'll probably get you a lot more views than tagging something with a Canadian province ever will! I just. in conclusion: tumblr has tagging etiquette and i am begging the young aesthetic bloggers to take a moment to learn it. it will save you so much being reported for spam and having your posts and or possibly your entire blog taken down because of it. Tiktok Headcannons for the gang! Because i use that platform way too much

Hosea's tiktok is one of those old people's tiktoks who always duet people and gives honest, good advice. He's always responding to people, and likes comments about being people's dad or grandparent :) he also does lives (livestreams) of him doing crosswords every Sunday. Like a mix of elijahstroman7 and annrussell03.

Dutch's tiktok is one third failed intentional thirst traps, one third dueting women he likes with his unblinking face as the video, and one third political and philosophical rants.

Lenny's account is full of well-made videos about technology, news/politics, and literature/"booktok". His editing is top-notch and he has a large following! Lenny's followers love his sense of fashion, calling him a fashion Icon - some even draw fanart of him! He is verified, much to the annoyance of Sean. He has a side account just for his cat.

Mary-Beth's account is fandom anthropology (think, academia on fandom and fanfic but presented in layman's terms), fanfic culture, and cosplay.

Tilly has an aesthetic account. It's like a hidden gem; it's not popular or verified, but everyone who comes across it loves it. She posts various aesthetics, and takes requests! Her most popular tiktok is about yellow aesthetic. She also rarely posts tiktoks with her face in it, but they do well and the comments are nice :)

Karen is a fashion and make-up account. People love her creative looks and her outfit choices. She likes to do lives (livestreams) where she drinks, chats with the audience, and does her make-up.

Javier's tiktok is just him posting songs and song covers - his is the most popular out of the whole gang! Javier is verified, and has a merch store and a Spotify.

Sean has a combined shitpost/weirdtok/commentary account. He dances sometimes, too. His account is very eclectic, but has a small but dedicated following. Has been on tiktok the longest, but has the least followers and is not verified. Has a secret spam account that is much more popular about vlogging with his friends and the gang!

Abigail has a mom account, and posts crock-pot recipes. She's doing her best. Occasionally she posts a "lol my partner is incompetent 🤣" "funny" video and those get really popular.

John's account is all about animals he met on the street and weird situations he finds himself witnessing (e.g. a car riding on train tracks). He posts a lot about Cain, then Rufus. Dog person.

Arthur's account is very country? He talks about his horse a lot, and dances to country tunes. He has a series where he annoys members of the gang. Nothing he posts is something he hated doing; Arthur loves creating content!

Charles unintentionally makes thirst traps with his content of survival/bushcraft, cooking, and indigenous issues and culture. He's got a lot of thirsty followers, but a lot of genuine ones too. His cooking videos are very ASMR, and sometimes they spawn video chains of musicians jamming out to it.

Sadie is deep into political tiktok. She's avid about gun rights and is a feminist. She also shows herself working out a lot, and a large number of her followers are wlw.

Kieran's tiktok is about all the pets he has, whom he loves to bits. He's been asked for a face reveal, but he's too shy. There is a conspiracy that he's secretly The Rock.

Pearson has a tiktok cooking account, but its only about Barbecuing. He once tried to make a dish with vegetables, but users mass reported it for disturbing content and it got taken down.

Grimshaw has an account, but doesn't post. She just downloads everything she likes to watch later (she doesn't). One of her favorite accounts is a lady who talks about etiquette while cleaning silver.

Swanson has a tiktok, but its only about religion. He is nice and welcoming and great and courteous to everyone who asks! He loves talking about Exodus, Psalms, Job, Ezekiel, Acts, John, Philippians, Hebrews, and 1 Peter.

Strauss is big into business and is pro-capitalism, and flogs cryptocurrency and NFTs through tiktok. He also posts about the successful secrets of billionaires and the stock market. Blocks all those who disagree with his takes, and 9 times out of 10 doesn't allow comments on his videos. He got most of his followers during the GME craze. Is hurting quite a bit now that the NFT market has collapsed and crypto is on the downturn.

Molly doesn't have a tiktok - she thinks it's a terrible platform and beneath her. Prefers Instagram reels.

Bill doesn't understand tiktok well, so he doesn't post. But he is an avid commenter, often getting pinned or featured in "weird tiktok comments" compilations.

Micah keeps getting banned from tiktok. He doesn't understand how, but he does. Maybe it's all the gun videos he posts, or getting reported for his constant hate speech? Who knows!

it is quite interesting with the prejudice I was met with during my life. Yesterday, I had an antigen test where I self isolated at home upstairs in my room && was talking to myself on tumblr. I put the kettle on the floor of my room. It was pretty nice & strange to be back in the rpc, although I tentatively stepped in the water with water washing around my ankles ;; sansa talking to cesare w a visual accompaniment at westeros cafe + athelstan talking to lagertha & ragnar. Some people also followed me first :o which was nice they were interested in me / my blog && messaging/roleplaying with me. I had also gotten used to talking to myself ooc as especially differentiated from the older times of rp when I felt very choked and judged ;; noted when I said at the time to ariel that I didn’t feel like she judged me. Yet some seemed to judge quickly at the marshmallow squishy comforting / thumping Julian’s back like wechat sticker ;; tavvy’s toy && my pinned post talking about my own rules I keep edit adding to find ways to adapt happily into rpc/life in general. ( drinking water/fresh air walking ) && in perpetual building frustration, I also wrote how I didn’t stand by callout posts && how damaging they could be in pushing one to the edge to write endless goals ( this stemmed from my worry in talking to ariel again as I spoke to her a lot about my anxiety during university as it was really horrifying yet strangely fulfilling ( as noted on my wordpress in which I now breathed life in the mundaneity) & I knew from clues/hints she talked behind my back to other rp friends when I was drowning. I also talked to myself how bad it was to live out my entire life on the rpc / site & to just immerse myself into happy && it was great fun to ascend to heaven and valhalla without caring what others think.

my relationship with orion is interesting. She, with ariel saying some context of my experience in rpc & how it seemed to affect my life/thoughts, said something about study of oneself in dialectical behavioural therapy ( pulling books from the city of weep ) as she had brain fog too. this was in a october day.

my relationship with johnnie is a bit more disjointed. I watched many YouTube videos of his, and felt he was with me during my library study ;; when I felt I needed to be completely alone && walking along the road like boulevard of broken dreams && on my own mahogany ship sailing. When i watched poison, I thought his red colour lips was like beautiful red paint 🎨 ;; I think YouTube && doing art was part of my experience when writing athelstan park drabble — colour within chaos. I could also relate to past & present selves ;; when he is singing always looking for ways to improve himself && getting frustrated && throwing up blood into the desert outback from his eternal sitting in barn. I felt he was speaking to me when he talked about growing up and that everyone was worried about me and that I didn’t deserve hate. && then other direct messages he said like I was a bad person and what I did now didn’t really matter and doesn’t excuse my not trying to understand properly to the level of fogginess that I nearly died in my sleep/didn’t sleep to near dying, yet he could appreciate people who bettered themselves contrasted in confusion.

when people spam calling me, or anyone in general, I do not think they understand how unsafe individuals feel. When people spam call me yesterday, I watch unbroken by melovin ;; yet thought this was very irritating out to get me within me trying to live life from the complete mess that life gave me. I also rightfully think in secret of vengeance, which help me sleep :)

Does anyone actually like my drawings?

I always have a feeling someone isn’t so interested in the lore and the story I’m trying to tell

I know my drawings isn’t the best but I am learning and I love what I do, it’s just the feeling like I watched @spam-caine-askblog , @triangularitydubs , or @minicomics

They all have amazing art and styles and I love at what they do, keep up the great work

I had gotten some criticism from when I first started my blog, and it had made me abit sad that people hated it…but I kept going

And I’m gonna continue that with the support you have given me

F*CK, YEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!! IT ALL LOOKS SO GOOD!

For one, I can totally see Narumi wanting to spam the Witcher equivalent of eldrich blast on any enemies he deems unworthy of his blade. (I don't know if Witcher has eldrich blast, i'm not familier with their works.) And Hoshina constantly telling him off for wasting camp resources on experimental potion making...

Hoshina: *smacking him over the head with a wooden training sword* STOP! USING! THE! CAMP'S! SUPPLY! OF! COOKING! HERBS! Narumi: Five more minutes! I think I've stumbled on a coffee substitute here!

(C*caine. He made c*caine.)

As for the Mina resurrection, (I totally understand bringing her back and having it signify season 2) I kinda see it as Rin coming up with a plan to resurrect Mina and she recruits Kafka and Hoshina for it and Kafka's all like, "She's my dearest friend and a great warrior, she should stay dead and have her place of burial respected due to her service of being a great warrior!" And Rin drops "You're a shit friend if you haven't noticed that her soul has been restless for seven thousand years." which makes Kafka go "What?". So they get there and they perform a ritual that wasn't the ritual that it was stated to be and Rin drops the "Okay, I know that was a d*ck move, but I promise you I have good intentions for this." card and Kafka says "B*TCH, I CAN LITERALLY WISH WHATEVER PROBLEM YOU HAVE AWAY! YOU COULD HAVE JUST ASKED!?!?" And Rin replies with "Okay, so you can just fix [ goes into extreme detail over a very layered and complex geopolitical turmoil happening between the fiefdom that she's from and the kingdom that's fighting to absorb it into it's borders.] which makes Kafka go *smacks lips in thought* "No I cannot. Resurrection it is." (Obviously, it wasn't supposed to be a resurrection, they're just stuck with it being a resurrection, you know what I mean?)

I don't know how Mina getting resurrected would fix a country's political turmoil, but halfway through trying to fix it, they find out why Mina's soul hasn't been properly laid to rest which leads into a side quest that ties into the "Fixing the Problem" quest. Then they come up with a system that makes it so Mina technically has all of her soul back, but she can choose when she's laid back to rest and she decides that she would like to stay with Kafka for a bit again.

And since this is season two, I can totally see her going ham on the teasing once she found out that Kafka bonded to Hoshina. Just casually lets it drop in conversation to Narumi that Hoshina is totally Kafka's type due to previous conversations they've had over who would Dragon Kafka find attractive if he wasn't a dragon. Which causes Kafka to retaliate and spill the beans on her favorite things to Rin because Mina keeps personal details close to the chest out of social anxiety and fear of embarrassment unless she has a close and deep relationship with someone.

Mina: I'm not surprised those two bonded. Kafka's always had a thing for cocky leadership types. I can't tell you the amount of times I've caught him in the throws of woe stemming from him not being able to court Witchers safely while being a dragon. It's almost as if he has a thing for people that can kill him. *Stares at Kafka pointedly* Kafka: . . . Kafka: *turns around to Rin* Her favorite animal is large cats, her favorite color is black, her favorite novel is this trashy lesbian romance series called "Where the Wind Blows the Hottest", her favorite food is - Mina: *Stabs machete blade into his mouth in embarrassment* Kafka: *Pulls out the blade* Now, that's just rude. Mina: *Whispers* Tell everyone about that novel again, and I'll tell everyone about that time you tried to date my uncle. Kafka: . . . Truce? Mina: Truce.

You can't tell me they DON'T have a friendship where they know better than to air out the chat rooms, but jump at the chance to do so when appropriate.

hahaha, yeah, might have been re-obsessed with my own AU here, because some @mechazushi fueled my brain with new content about them..so I can't help it.. once again diving deep into the fantasyy... and next to the Witcher and Skyrim law... well I came along with something else as well now :D

Narumi Gen:

Witcher/Hunter and counterpart/companion of Soshiro Hoshina. They both initially travelled to the mountains to find a rumored dragon's den to slay said. His skills are very much resembling what a witchers can do, and he is remarkable in swords art, but also a formidable sourcerer for fight related magic and enchantment. Hoshina lacks the skill for advanced spells. They have an unspoken agreement to help each other get better with the skills the lack. He also prepares most of their potions.

Mina Ashiro:

I very much loved the idea of her being a long gone friend of dragon Kafka, that gifted him his human form and influenced his life so much. It suits the story sooo good!! But I kinda was sad she wasn't part of the current story anymore... ಡ ﹏ ಡ Well yeah, that's what I thought about yesterday while working on Narumi, got to bed, and at like 2 am a word hit me like a rock and I was fcking wide awake..

Banshee... ╭( ๐_๐)╮omg, that's gonna be awesome, I'mma make her a banshee like Sylvana and she's gonna be there and has to rediscover the world, since she was gone so long.

sfhfsdldkjthat's what I did. She is a banshee now, lol. A half-elf banshee, might I add. Revived by a necromancer in a very complicated ritual. So basically - welcome to season 2 of this AU of ours I guess? The necromancer in question (oh my, who could it possibly be, I ask? It's ma gurl Rin, of course) contacted Kafka and his party, with the intention to perform a ritual on Mina's grave to free her soul, which is still clinging to earth because of a later discovered act of betrayal that 'caused Tachikawa to fall when their enemies arrived. (smth like this, I dunno, I didn't think this part through a lot, lol)

For performing the ritual she needs, amongst other things, detailed information and a contribution of someone that was close with the deceased. After finding Mina's grave and corpse deep down in the catacombs of Tachikawas ruins they start the ritual. Kafka needs to contribute a scale and some details about Mina in the past, that the necromancer incorporates into the ritual. To everyone's suprise she also adds her own blood. The necromancer reveals her true goal to not free but capture Mina's soul and obtain her powers. But something goes wrong (maybe because of Kafka interrupting the ritual now, or smth idk) and instead Mina is revived as an undead soul with a new (but slightly unfinished) body. Because of the contributed blood she is bound to her summoner for as long as it takes her to find and free the part of her soul that is in fact still captured somewhere on earth. (Oh no - so Kafka gets his bestie back, that is also basically immortal :| And I def. have in mind some enemies to lovers bullsh*t here with the banshee and her necromancer, lol sorry not sorry)

just letting people know yet again that i am definitely alive

life is a disaster at the moment, but i'm alive lmao, i'm so sorry i just keep vanishing like this. i DO plan to come back, i want to come back, i'm gonna try and come back this november since i'm gonna be trying NaNoWriMo again (and if i can find a good october prompts list, gonna try to use that to write a short little something every day based on the prompt), so maybe i'll be able to figure it out

i'm sure i'll definitely have the time as after halloween, i am no longer employed - my second job is just at spirit halloween so that ends after the holiday, and my security job let us know yesterday that everyone in my section of the company is basically getting fired after halloween because they don't "need" us anymore. (because covid is over and there's no need for temperature scanners anymore don't you know, covid's over, we beat it, congrats yall)

but yeah, i'm alive, i'll hopefully have more time soon if not energy, and i miss all of you very much

Mason started to spam buttons in hopes that he could defeat the AI's around him but luckily Cat had intervened before the embarrassment had gone too far. "Oh, that feels so much better." He said with a small laugh as she helped fix his grip on the controller. Video games was not something Mason had played often. He had played a few times with Cain but whenever they did, Mason had always been awful at it. Not that it really mattered, it wasn't like he had to be good at it to have a good time. "Oh! I love exploring." He said excitedly as he controlled his character, walking around and looking at everything. It felt much more chill now that no one was attacking him. "Oh hello. And hello. Hello." Mason said as his character walked passed each person. "I could play this all day, this game is great!"

"Oh," Cat managed through a laugh, not so much at Mason's expense but at the visual of the gameplay. "Okay, okay, here," Cat said helping to adjust Mason's grip on the controller so he was holding it a little better. "Here, here, just take a few steps around, work on moving and we can build up some of the other stuff," Cat said moving to her computer where the game itself was running. She switched over to the debug mode and turned off the enemies so Mason could get a feel for the movement first, "Nobody should attack you now so work on explorin' first."
