Nobody asked for, and yet, here’s my first fanzine ever 💖
Fueles by the fact that I grew up in a world where I liked famous men nome of my friends ever liked. I never found fanfictions, fancams, edits, not even proper HD images. Many years later, here I am, still thirsting over men that could be my grandfather, or that may be dead.
However, this is an ode to my latest odd preferences in men 💖
So, umm…yeah, this is supposed to be printed one day, but for now, I can only share it here (:

Stanislav Lyubshin's screen tests for the part of Johann Weiss / Alexander Belov in The Shield and the Sword
He's my beautiful porcelain doll I wanna put him on a mahogany shelf in the good room
He's so pretty you just know that it wasn't only soviet valiance and smarts that got him through the nazi ranks and running massive undercover operations

For All Mankind | 4x07 "Crossing the Line"
"Former director of NASA, Margo Madison, has returned to the United States, nearly a decade after defecting to the Soviet Union."
#g o d#this show makes me so unwell#'returned to the us nearly a decade after defecting to the soviets' is SUCH an understatement agh#*high pitched noises*#I was not expecting to see this this episode even after the convo with irina#every new shot of this sequence was a new pain#just one after another after another#ws and the actors are just hitting it out of the park again and again and again#also fyi her name is definitely still on that memorial just in case you want to be as stressed about it as I am#for all mankind#fam spoilers#margo madison#eli hobson#my gifs

I was re-watching "The Twelve Chairs" directed by Leonid Gaidai with my classmate and for some reason I got to admit..
Ostap Bender is kinda..
*blushes and hides my face away* I CAN'T-- HE'S TOO FINE 🫣💕
#the actor name is archil gomiashvili!#may god rest his soul but he did a fantastic job playing the character!#trust me i had the urge to get married to him in the movie instead 🥰#i realised andrei mironov also played the same character in a different movie and I was surprised!#love him too since I watched the diamond arm#god i love soviet movies they feel like you can rewatch them anytime 😭#the twelve chairs#ilf and petrov#the twelve chairs movie#leonid gaidai#ostap bender

moffat will make an episode with political messaging so bad itll give me second hand embarassment and then later be like yeah some soviets were cool
#i mean for the record not potreaying all soviets as some sort of orcs is an extremely low bar but my hope for mainstream western sci fi fran#chises is v low#i did think it was funny how the soviet actors were all like english guys. i mean yeah they werent gonna hire eastern europeans for a singl#episode but
