Ok, so, the bracelets work more or less like PN1's bacon, allowing Chell to telepathically summon Wheatley, maybe even to a point where she could transport his entire mental projection to her. Except, since there's two bracelets, the mental link also goes both ways. This is how she managed to attach a Psychoportal onto Wheatley, by the way:

As to what was their fate after that... Hm. That's going to depend on whether or not I'll tinker with the ending and/or Chell's general role in the story, as I have a few ideas about that; in any case, I don't imagine she is the type of person to retain any warm feelings about Aperture Paranormal and its employees, but that doesn't mean she'll necessarily get rid of her bracelet. Wheatley, however, not only keeps his, but also attaches a tiny Psitanium crystal, so he knows for certain he won't lose it.

Actually, wait, you know what? Theoretically, as long as these things are intact, there is a possibility they work suuuuper long distance, so, wherever Chell ends up after getting out of Aperture, she has a way of keeping up with Wheatley. Wouldn't that be nice.

Oh, and one more thing. Ortensia is in this AU. Does she go to Oswald's old or new school? Do Ortensia and Oswald even know each other in Toon High?

Oh gosh, let me pull up those old braincells. Imma be real, not much was planned for this au even all those years ago. So Imma just say rough ideas/answers for these questions. So sorry.

Toon High involves each major film studio as High schools or Universities (maybe idk about Uni). The main two for this au is Walt High and Universal High, but others exist like Gremlins come from a smaller, unknown school.

Mickey and Oswald live under the Disney family. Oswald was the first adopted toon and Mickey came later. Oswald warmed up to Mickey and the two were inseparable, but something happened that changed their dyanmic drastically. Since the event, Oswald has preferred to distant himself from the family. Opting to spend nights at friends or people like Iwerks or Lantz. The two eventually work things out in the end though.

(Note: I've thought about adding some comic lore,but I don't know anything about them so y'all can do what ever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I.e. Mickey's toon family live alongside the Disney's idk.)

I had basic antagonist like Pete Cat, Beagle Boys, Mortimer, etc. Even some of the Lantz's villains can be a part of it though that be outside school. I don't know anything about Lantz's cartoons, but y'all can do whatever. There may be some sly teachers. I don't remember who I had or if I had any ideas for that.

Ortensia is in this au. Originally, I had this idea that most of the toons that were under Walt got migrated to Walt High as a reference to that trade for Oswald. That's changed to align with a school universe. So! She went to a private school most of her life, but she eventually convinces her father to let her go to public school. Oswald has met her before when they were younger at a fair, but never properly got to know each other until Oswald happens to pick up a small job as her family's occasional Uber. They both end up going to Walt High and are dating in secret.

Like all the other specifics for the stories, their ages / locations / accents etc. are a bit vague on purpose. I like to leave the room for everyone’s own imagination based on what they’re familiar with. It makes things a bit fuzzy for the timeline sometimes, but I just prefer having the blurred reality instead of basing it on real places and tracking a firm timeline.

But generally, I eyeball the gap between CYE and LMT to be maybe a couple of years.

The later on in the timeline we get with the newer published parts, I’ve been thinking that Kizzy, as the oldest of the four, are now getting closer to the mid-twenties mark and maybe over. 

The age order is: Isac as the oldest (by two critical weeks🤺), then Kit, Liam’s a year younger, and then Nathan. -> Nat’s age difference to the others & the gap between the stories could technically vary +/- an extra year or so, depending on whatever length of uni you’d want to imagine.

So basically, the canon is vague and they are all twenty-ish something in CYE and LMT xx

Yaldabaoth BOTW AU? Elaborate please 🔥👁️

So I mushed TOTK and BOTW together while also making an original story… I’m still working things out but what I do have for now!

The king, who I’m thinking might be Satanael, receives a message of sorts saying he who holds the Triforce of Power will destroy the land. So he did everything he could to ensure this didn’t happen. He established the Sages, each one tasked with defending their home. The most important Sages for now are Yaldabaoth and Emma. The secret stones are in this, but the name is awful so I’ll call them something else. Before it was discovered who had the Triforce of Power, Yaldabaoth had suggested raising the land into the sky to protect their people. But the king rejected his idea, saying not everyone would be saved.

Upon finding out Yaldabaoth was the holder of the Triforce of Power, his stone was taken from him. The king was acting out of paranoia, Yaldabaoth hadn’t done anything at this point. His stone was given to his younger brother, Salmael.

Yaldabaoth is the “demon king” of this AU, he was sealed away by the king. Before this, the king tasked the head of the Sheikah tech developer, who is Emma, to create a chamber to ensure he couldn’t escape. She did this, however, Yaldabaoth is her brother, and at the time, he hadn’t even done anything to warrant him being sealed. Her loyalty was with Yaldabaoth, not with Satanael. So the “chamber” wasn’t a vessel to hold Yaldabaoth, it was a Divine Beast. She believed that her brother cared for the kingdom despite the omen they heard, thus equipping the Divine Beast with the ability to raise the land into the air.

While Emma was constructing the Divine Beast in secret, Satanael had Yaldabaoth imprisoned. Overtime, the king became more paranoid, and Yaldabaoth became more irate.

When the day came and Yaldabaoth was moved to the “chamber”, he didn’t complain. He knew what Emma had done, he knew that even if he lost his physical form, he would finally be able to prove the king wrong.

The king attempted to use his sage ability to seal him away, not expecting Yaldabaoth to kill them both. The king’s spirit was trapped, while Yaldabaoth’s possessed the Divine Beast, giving him full control of the mechanics. He rose from underground, land rising into the sky with him. In his wake, Malice spread across the land, leaving the first Calamity to wreak havoc on the land below.

Basically the omen the king receives happens because of the measures he took to try and protect his people…

For years, Yaldabaoth stayed peacefully in the sky islands, watching over the people who lived there. He dedicated his time to watching the dragon that roamed the skies with him too, offering him a place to rest during the night.

On the surface, however, he would unleash Calamities every 1,000 years.

The chasm left behind with the Divine Beast rose into the air was covered by the current Hyrule castle.

So some quick character summaries!

Yaldabaoth: Former Sage of Light and Holder of the Triforce of Power. After losing his physical form, he possessed a Divine Beast. He remains somewhat dormant in the sky islands, occasionally releasing a Calamity upon the surface.

Emma: Head Sheikah technology researcher and Sage of Spirit. After her brothers rose to the sky islands, she remained to continue her work with Sheikah technology. During the first Calamity, she worked to construct the four Divine Beasts as well as the guardians.

Salmael: Former Sage of Time, Draconified. Spends his time mindlessly roaming the sky islands. During the night, he will sleep near Yaldabaoth, even though he doesn’t quite remember him.

Satanael: King of Hyrule, Sage of Darkness. His spirit is locked within the Divine Beast.

I was going to write this idea as a story, but my mind keeps flatlining every time I try to coherently make it. I still wanted to share the idea, so here’s a snippet that pretty much summarizes it:

It’s not a dungeon that me or your dad would let you go to for a very long time — not until you’re adult or close to it.”

She hears shattering behind her, and Twig quickly turns around. Opal’s plate, once holding in apple slices and strawberries, is in pieces. The ceramic remains decorate the floor, some stained by bruised fruits and the juices left behind. Twig’s mouth opens, ready to ask if Opal’s okay and warn her about stepping on the sharp pieces, but the words that mean to come out die as she looks at her daughter. Opal’s eyes are wide and slowly become teary. Her body trembles, evidently the cause of the broken plate rather than her potentially tripping. Her stare never leaves Twig, her mouth quivering as words try to come out but never do.

“Opal?” As soon as her name leaves Twig’s mouth, the Marshadow begins to cry. Fat tears roll down her cheeks, only getting heavier when Twig rushes to her side and brings her into an embrace. “Opal, what’s-?”

“I have a friend-” Opal chokes on her words, trying to push through an invisible blockade in her throat. “She- she says that her big sister and brother try to leave her in dungeons by herself to ‘toughen up’ and that they were going to take her to Boulders Quarry today. She doesn’t like fighting — she usually hides when they try, and I can always find her, I haven’t been able to find her- she- I don’t- I wanted to say- she said they’ll run away and take her if anyone knew, and she didn’t want to go away — but now she’s not here, but her big brother and sister are- and- and-!”

Between her blood running cold and her burning organs, Twig manages soft words that she thinks are comforting by the way Opal’s cries calm down, but the Charmeleon can’t hear them. Ark comes into the room, concerned words leaving, but Twig doesn’t hear them. She gently puts Opal into his arms and she thinks that she mentions an emergency, but it all blurs after that. Now she walks out of Boulders Quarry, a quivering, shaking child curled up in her arms. She is careful not to aggravate old wounds that couldn’t have come from the recent the recent dungeon. The familiar excuses are desperately made by the kid, but Twig knows.

“I just got lost.”

“I got this because I fell — I fall a lot.”

“I’m okay, I’m fine. Don’t tell auntie my big brother and sister. I can go by myself.”

Twig knows and, internally, she seethes.

I'm terrified of going to the ob/gyn. I haven't been in more than 6yrs because of it. I'll have panic attacks so bad that I'll pass out from crying, it's so bad. and i'm sure my endometriosis has been getting worse! I just don't know how to be okay with that examination.

to soothe my anxiety I like doing “prep work” before hard things. before my driving lessons I’d watch videos of driving tutorials, because other people needing help soothed the shame and made me more prepared.

so I suggest finding a small practice in your area (if your insurance allows) on Google and shooting them an email, or calling them! Tell them you’re scared and need reassurance before you make an appointment. I’m sure there’s someone willing to help in a smaller practice. ask plenty of questions during the exam, don’t be afraid to say no, and bring a support person. afterwards by a yummy treat and indulge yourself with a bath or clean sheets

Anyways I don’t think he’s the type to get dysphoria he moreso experiences euphoria when exploring his gender identity. I think he would realize he has different views on his own gender when he sees other people expressing their own differently. Like genuinely he goes to school and sees another boy wearing lipstick and his brain blows up. As of this very moment he’s “exploring” but he’s actually a lil scared to genuinely confront himself about this and uses “there’s bigger problems in the world” to get out of it. End goal is non-binary but for now he’s at the veeeeeeery tail end of questioning.

Damian: I think at the moment Damian’s just not thinking about any of that but it’s in the opposite of duke; he knows he’s probably some kind of queer, both in sexuality and gender, but it’s just. Not top priority for him at the moment. I wanna bring up clothes rq bc, extra hc time, in MY mind Damian does express himself a lot through his clothing and getting to the manor made him a bit shy when it came to skirts and dresses. Seeing the way boys, and especially black and brown boys, who explore their femininity are treated, he just doesn’t mention it at all and the scenario never comes up. He gets more comfortable as time goes on though and later on gets bold enough to wear a dress to an event. He’s stonefaced but slightly regretting it till some younger kid sees him and is awe stricken, like stars in his eyes and asking if he can do that too. Damian feels better about it and resolves to wear whatever he wants more often. I don’t think he ever comes out in big big way (he’d tell the people closest to him but everyone else can just figure it out) but he genuinely doesn’t feel the need to label himself at all.

hi friend, you still have the potential to be sued here in the US, even if you’re not using images. That’s a big part of why authors likes Anna Todd, scrubbed After (with all references to Harry’s name) from the internet when she started charging for it and before any publication would take an interest. (Before anyone comes for me, I’m sure the original has been saved by some third part somewhere. This is the internet after all. But the point remains if she were to be sued, she is able to claim that she did her due diligence by removing any and all content with any reference to Harry Styles from the internet BEFORE she received any payment.) The US is currently starting to crack down on copyright and intellectual property infringement. In large part due to the fact that so many people have received huge payouts over the last ten years. Unfortunately they’re not choosing to go after the ones that have actually gotten rich from the issue. And while the drivers might not care. Their management most certainly will. If you’re choosing to charge for your fiction it might be best to at the very least change names so you might have some form of deniability.

I'm not trying to go against your word, but rather wondering about the topic myself because it seems to me it's a huge gray area, so feel free to reach me on my private messages or on anon again if you want. But speaking about Anna Todd, technically she could still be sued even after scrubbing Harry's name from the story because there was still proof on the internet that it was a story about him, if we're talking about defamation it doesn't need to involve the monetization aspect, it's still defamation without it. This would mean that ANY RPF fanfiction is illegal and could be sued (which is not necessarly the case because theres the whole fair use thing).

We're talking about huge payouts, but I'm getting less than fifty dollars a month with Patreon lol would their team really come for me (a poor grad student) on behalf of a billionaire for getting less than fifty dollars a month to help pay school and medical bills? this would need a huge pr work too to make them seem good after doing something so crazy like this.

Talking about defamation, let's say I change names, but this Tumblr would still be up and everything else would easily show that it's about pilot X, this could still be considered illegal because you can tell who it is about. The reason why nobody comes for rpf is because 1) the money people are talking about is just a few bucks most of the time, and 2) it's exactly this real people's FICTION, there's not much to talk about defamation of a worldwide artist when the content you're sharing is for a nich of less than one hundred people, it's not reasonable. Did he say all this? All I remember him saying about his first life is that he had a family that he loved and who loved him, and that’s it. I could be wrong since it’s been a minute since I read the novel, but I’ve always thought that the story never gave us enough on Shen Yuan’s background to give is a concrete understanding of anything in his first life. In Tulips of Time since Claire has the shard and she's not a troll, what will it do to her when they return to the future?

The shard preys on fear, it latches onto whoever it’s infecting’s insecurity and internalization, and in turn makes that worse, just a big bucket of dark magic poisoning, at least that’s what I’m going with and boy howdy does Claire have a lot of that.

While they’re in the past Claire’s biggest fear starts off as becoming Morgana, and worrying about the darkness taking over, because who she meets in the past is not the same woman that tried to literally tear apart the world for the Eternal night, if Morgana can fall that far who’s to say she can’t either or further? However by the time they get back to the future it has grown out of simply becoming Morgana, but I can’t spoil all the fun.

So what Claire becomes when she pushes the shard into her heart will be a-lot worse than just a human fueled by dark magic.

I was about to pass out when I wrote that last ask (cause I was sleepy) so I couldn't even complete what I was writing.

The fact he felts guilt over her death even years later proves to he did feel bad about it on a moral level rather just avoiding consequences for his actions, plus I think the fact that it bothers him that he doesn't feel bad about the bad stuff he does shows he doesn't like being a bad person even if he can't change it.

About the Ashley point, I was gonna add that part of his attitude towards Ashley after the death of Nina is the fact that the reason she did that was because she was jealous and wanted Andree for herself, which from his perspective feels incredible stupid because he's always been there for her and he's always taking care of her, even when he repeats it over and over, it isn't enough for her, it's never enough for her, which is probably when he actually started thinking all those horrible stuff about her and being actually mean to her, if Andy isn't enough for her no matter what, then why bother acting like him?

To add on, I think it's implied that him acting violent started during his breaking point towards the end of Episode 1 when he snaps and starts trying to choke her, it's his first act of actual rebellion and what starts to change their relationship, it's implied that he was docile and doormat before up to that point...so 15 years, that's a lot of restraint.

About him being an uncaring person, I feel that he can care about other people if they're close to him, like he does with Ashley and he still cares about Julia, it should also be noted that the people he ends up killing so far are complete strangers to him or people he dislikes (or tried to kill him) as shown with those wardens, that gamer girl, the hitman and his parents, considering he does felt guilt about Nina and goes to kill himself after he kills Ashley in the Decay route (although that's it's own can of worms) shows that killing people he does care about does mess him somewhat.

I be honest, IDK what was I going with this (drinking medicine after so long really messed me up) but the point is I don't think Andy is as messed up or cruel as some go so far as to saying, obviously he's far, far from a saint as you can get but I don't think he's as evil as Ashley or his mom

No, Andrew isn't cruel. I don't think anyone can argue in good faith that he's cruel. He draws no enjoyment from the crimes he commits - the only time he expresses something resembling it is when he thinks back to the warden who was "leering on Ashley" and he regrets not killing him slower. But that's just simple brotherly protectiveness or is it

Aside from this being painfully relatable lol, I love how this is one of the two ways that lead to the Decay route. I've seen most people talk about entering it through Andrew accepting his mother's olive branch, which symbolizes his desire to be "normal" and blaming Ashley for everything bad he did. But Ashley not trusting Andrew with their parents also has merits - the big argument in Ch1 that ended with Andrew choking her started precisely because Ashley didn't trust Andrew, she seriously believed he wanted to fuck the lady, that he wasn't faithful to her. Ashley has severe abandonment issues and a complete lack of a sense of self-worth, which is what pushes her to force Andrew to be "stuck" with her - because no one would actually love her, if they had the choice!

Obviously Andrew, as anyone would, grows tired of this shit, the lack of trust and respect after everything he has done for her, hence the route where they grow apart :D

That's the other thing people are split about. Did he care? And how much? When Julia says that Ashley should learn some independence (which is code for "dude she's too invested in our relationship and it's creepy), Andrew dodges the issue, justifies Ashley and talks positively about her. He asked her to tie up her hair which is very obvious why. When Julia broke up with him, Andrew could only offer a "I'm sorry, I guess? But why should I be blamed?" (although he does call out Ashley for interfering in his romantic life). Then there is the matter of the voicemails that he hears in his dream: were those made up by his subconscious? (and considering how most of them are Ashley slutshaming Julia and bragging about Andrew needing her, bro) Or did Andrew, somehow, hear them... and did nothing?

I really want to dissect Andrew under a microscope lol. He's not a poor innocent victim nor he is an abuser in the same way as Ashley... but he's such an unreliable narrator that I think most of his psyche is still shrouded in mystery.

So, I guess technically, Oscar also didn't die, he's just chilling in whatever purgatory/limbo/between the veils space with Iomene. either for eternity or until they can figure out how to un-curse themselves and actually pass on.

Rajan, Madam Glask, and Cosmo all chose to die for one reason or another (Rajan to free his sister, Cosmo bc he was very old and very tired and Oscar's business was settled enough that he no longer felt he had to try to fix it, Glask's reasons for choosing to die are a little confusing I think bc Gina thought she had to die and was just trying to come up with a good enough reason on the spot, but I think it boiled down to wanting to be with her parents again. I do think that if Gina was aware that she could live, she would have, but what's done is done, so...)

What happened to them physically? I don't really know. Aabria didn't get into it, so I guess we can imagine it however we want. Did Elsie leave four bodies in front of that golden door? Did they all dissolve into nothing? *shrugs* I think she left it purposefully vague, because at that point the focus was shifting to Elsie, the one left alive, and her epilogue

so! finding clips is always the most difficult and probably the most time consuming part of making an edit for me.. but usually i just try to look for ready scene packs that all the very lovely people on the internet compile 🙏 but f1's own youtube channel also has a lot of very good content! you just have to know what you're looking for over there and you'll have to skim through a lot of other content to find the good stuff,, but their channel is especially good for racing content itself (obviously) and their videos are almost always available in 1080p which is a huge perk!! they also have some of their own compilation videos which can be very useful. and ofc teams' own social medias have a lot of content and usually their youtube channels have a lot of good video content about race weekends beyond the race (which, i think i'm stating the obvious here but yeah)! so honestly it's a bit of a scavanger hunt and you just have to be patient, especially if you're picky with the cohesion of your clips like me 😭😭

and i'll be honest with you i know nothing about clipchamp 😭 i used to use premiere pro until the free access i had to it at the time stopped and then i couldn't be bothered to find a good pc alternative.. but honestly i think it totally depends on what kind of editing style you're going for! if you have a similar style to mine i'm pretty sure most editing softwares have the capacity for that! as long as you can import clips, music and fonts and can work in enough detail (!!!) you can probably make it work with enough time!! ofc then the main differences between softwares are in the interface, intuitivity and usability so it might take a bit of trial and error, as well as getting used to, to find a software that works for you! then again if you want to use more fancy effects, transitions and tools you'll most likely have to look around quite a bit and usually free softwares don't have super great options on that front unfortunately.. there's a lot of recommendations on the internet tho so if that's the case you'll just likely have to spend quite a bit of time researching and trying stuff out but you might find something very good from people's recommendations ! (if you do pls share them with me lol)

also i can't believe i'm exposing my best kept editing secret just for you anon BUT if you're not opposed to editing on mobile i'd very heavily recommend an app called inshot, which is what i use!!! i think it has a super super impressive variety of different kinds of effects and a lot of very useful tools you don't find in every editing software! they keep constantly updating it and adding new features too, it's been heavily updated in the past couple years and seems like it'll just keep getting better! plus it's completely free, you just have to watch an ad while exporting your final video lol,,
