Somewhat official designs for each of my Mickey and Oswald Aus along with minor lore. For those that want basic info on each au, here's the link.

Between the Screen Au

Mirroring ear injuries due to Blot.

Mick has minor health injuries due to having the Blot in him during Epic Mickey, resulting in monthly check-ups and a paint monitor.

Mixed their outfits post Epic Mickey.

Oswald is co-leader of Wasteland and head of the Conversion Trolley Station, while Mickey still acts but occasionally works side jobs.

Tale of 2 Brothers

Style is based on the Beta pitch, so semi-angular basically.

Both have the Blot in them, so they can use paint or thinner with their hands. Old movesets from the Epic Mickey Beta trailer are present when they fight.

Oswald keeps his Blot arm hidden at all times unless around Ortensia, Gus, Mad Doctor, and the Blot. Mick eventually sees it.

Toons & Dungeons

Oswald is an Artificer/Sorcerer and Mickey is a Bard/Sorcerer.

Oswald has minor lighting spells while Mickey has various spells. Oswald has a gun that can shoot electricity, Energy/Paint, and Acid/Thinner. Mickey has a wand, Pan Flute, and Lute. Both carry a small hidden dagger.

Oswald was taken in by the Gremlins while Mick gets adopted by Yen Sid.

Rising Star

Outfits change over the years, so this is the main look.

1920s-60s they stay conservative with looks, but eventually let loose as times change.

Can be depicted smoking or drinking cuz they old.

Magic Island

Villagers inspired by Mickey and Oswald, so their names are different. Oswald = Clover while Mickey = Elias.

Clover is a Smug/Lazy Villager while Elias is a Jock/Peppy Villager. Idk if that makes sense (；・∀・).

Elias sleeps early while Clover stays up late.

Local Toon

Classic old looks. Nothing much to say, they are kids in this world and look like their first designs.

Toon High

Main designs until later arcs.

Oswald prefers loose cloths unless working on machines, which he wears tanks or snug clothes. Mickey likes active wear or normal teen clothes.

Later on, the two wear something of the other as a way to solidify their repaired brotherhood.

Ink & Mirrors

Actual plot is Mick and Ink!Oswald. Parallel plot is Oswald and Ink!Mickey.

Both are dealing with completely different issues. Ink!Oswald is hunting Mickey while Ink!Mickey is trying to help Oswald.

Ink!Oswald is stuck in a sort of limbo where his mind is like pre-Epic Mickey, mostly due to the false heart Bendy implanted into him. Ink!Mickey seems to have kept some of his self due to his heart, but Alice Angel mangled the poor mouse.

Mickey is constantly stressed as he tries to escape the studio and revert his brother. Paint barely works on these enemies so he is stuck using only thinner and electricity, leaving him heavily drained.

Oswald is alert 24/7 and trying to rescue others alongside fixing his brother. Having never used the brush before, he finds it a tad difficult to use correctly. It's also causing him to drip. He has a limp due to an attempt to use his leg as a weapon, which failed horribly.

P.D. Toons

Public Domain toons turned into ocs. They are still the original characters, but my own take.

Oswald is Oliver Hare and Mickey is Willy Fieldmouse.

Oliver is the local trolley driver. Willy is a staff member for a local studio.

Doodles based on conversations about Twisted Glisten and Rodger with @tdlizardowo :3. Mainly with the Mini AU thing I doodled the other day where Rodger does solo runs down to the Twisted floors to meet with Glisten.

Based on an idea we had that Glisten literally just. Sits outside the elevator waiting for Rodger to return whenever he leaves. Probably sits with his head turned to the side so he can listen against the wall for the elevator moving in the shaft.

We also made the headcanon that when Rodger was first going to see Glisten and trying to get his trust back with him, Glisten had such low self esteem and such high anxiety at that point that he thought literally anything was holding more importance in Rodger's eyes than himself. So Rodger would catch onto this and leave items down there with Glisten, the latter of whom would basically hold them hostage until Rodger came back (I also think sometimes Glisten would outright take to nicking stuff off him to hold hostage as well, something he felt was significant enough that Rodger would come back for it had he lost it).

Rodger would slowly get Glisten to realise that, by doing this little habit and being nonchalant about whether an item goes missing or he leaves something on accident, that he really isn't caring about whether he leaves stuff down here or not - notes, a briefcase, research, whatever - it's *him* that he's returning for, because helping Glisten and keeping him company until he can find a way to cure him or get him safely up to the lobby without other Toons being worried or scared of him is the most important thing to him. Glisten is more important to Rodger than some silly items. :)

(Also I choose to believe the briefcase has lore as being a birthday / debut anniversary gift from Toodles to Rodger that she convinced her Toon Handler to help her get for him)

Kevin is a detective who hit rock bottom after investigating his mother’s death and finding out a toon did it but not catching the toon

He takes up a quick job to catch evidence of Nathaniel Fox’s infidelity leading to Andrew Fox (his husband) to murder Ichirou Moriyama in a jealous rage. However, something doesn’t seem right with the crime so Kevin volunteers to clear Andrew’s name

What if; a Twisted ver of Tamed Twisteds Boxten & Poppy?

Of course, this is not canon in the au; just a concept

I feel that they aren't exactly like their original twisted counterpart, so I gave them a few new mechanics

Twisted Caretaker Boxten

- I think Twisted Boxten is more of roaming twisted, but instead of aimlessly; I thought of him roaming in rooms

- You will hear a distorted version of clair de lune if Twisted Boxten is near

- If Twisted Boxten spots a toon, the other twisteds on the floor will be alerted to the toon's location; not mattering if they're already in a chase or not. This reflects how Boxten care for the twisteds and how they follow him around

- If Twisted Boxten is chasing you, you will gain the 'Hypnotized' debuff. It kinda works like the slowness debuff but the longer Boxten chases you, the higher the debuff goes. Once it hits three, you won't be in control unless you get hit

- If Twisted Boxten hurts a toon, he'll avoid them for the next 15 seconds of the round

- When Twisted Boxten is on a floor, there's a high chance that the twisteds he tamed will appear on the floor with him

Twisted Seeker Poppy

- For Twisted Poppy, she's most likely to check the locations of the machines on the floor

- You'll hear the agonizing sound of metal screeching if Twisted Poppy is near

- Twisted Poppy might drop an item every 50 seconds of the round, this can be helpful if you need an one

- If Twisted Poppy is chasing you for long enough, she might get angry and throw the metal hammer at you instead

- After getting hit by Twisted Poppy, you'll gain the 'Hurt' debuff. This debuff is a huge pain to deal with because it does NOT go away unless you use a healing item, and if you get hit by a twisted; you get one shotted

- Like Twisted Boxten; if Twisted Poppy is on a floor, there's a high chance the twisteds she tamed will appear on the floor with her

I've been thinking about this silly AU too much and have to expand on it.

Roger and Jessica are THE Power Couple of the high school. You can't convince me they wouldn't be. Roger and Herman are also the heads of the drama club.

Benny the Cab is the bus/bus driver. Enough said XD

The Toon Patrol- or The Weasel Squad here- are the designated delinquents of the school. If it weren't for the fact that Principal Doom seems to be interested in keeping them around to terrorize the other students, they would have been expelled long ago. Their crimes range from smoking in the hallway, trying to score dates in terrible ways, and bringing knives to school (guess who's guilty of which crime XD)

I have no idea who the teachers would be though. It doesn't seem right to make Eddie and Dolores part of the faculty 😆

As for my OC's; Poppy is the designated shy nerd of the school (*cough* the only toon in the whole school who will actually wear her uniform and wear it properly), Shiny is a part of the drama club, however she is also a trouble maker and can be found hanging around the weasels. Henry is the asshole kid who looks cool, but he really isn't. Moony is one of the best players on the school's football team despite how quiet he is. Ben looks like a nice guy but there's a reason he doesn't have a date to prom yet. And Terry... I'm not sure yet tbh XD

This isn't going to go anywhere I doubt, but I figured you'd get a kick out of this anyway wicked XD

This has got SUCH Poppy vibes XD Imagine a Poppy/Toon Patrol highschool AU!!!

I can imagine!!! Pops, like this picture says, is the quiet girl in the back just trying to get her school done, and now she's got these chuckleheads the teacher just dumped on her. Actually you know what? Real quick, let's go over these guys in an AU like this-

Poppy + Smartass: Smarty, being the self-appointed leader of this group of delinquents, being sat next to the quiet kid who's afraid of him was... Probably not the greatest decision on the teachers part 😅 Poppy is flinching everytime Smartass yells at his friends- who are all across the room from him, in their usual seats, where he wants to be- and Poppy is trying to just stay unassuming so she doesn't become a target of High-School anarchy these weasels bring. She wouldn't be able to make conversation, at least not right away XD

Poppy + Greasy: THIS WAS AN EVEN WORSE CHOICE THE TEACHER MADE! At least with Smartass, Poppy could get her work done since she was mostly left alone. But now she's got this kid leaning over to her, trying to be smooth- which he ain't- and get her number (or whatever you could give out in the 40's. Unless this is a modern Highschool AU?). Though maybe, if these two get more used to each other, they could actually work together in school?? Greasy's probably trying to cheat, and Poppy is insisting that they have to pass the test the 'honest way', but... Idk, I just like the idea of Poppy and Greasy being able to work together on the job- or in this case, school XD

Poppy + Wheezy: Finally! The quiet one! I mean he still kinda scares her, with his red eyes and imposing attitude (it's just a bad case of resting bitch face). But he doesn't yell and he isn't trying to be suave, so fine. She can work with this... She kinda actually wants to make conversation now, since he seems friendly enough. But he hasn't spoken to her so she's just keeping to herself for now. Meanwhile Wheezy is just enjoying the peace and quiet while he's seated next to her XD

Poppy + Psycho: ... Can she get the pink one again? This one is twirling his knife around and giggling dangerously. Similar to Greasy, Pops isn't going to be able to concentrate on her work- but here, she's worried about getting cut rather than kissed 😅 he's twitching and squirming because he doesn't like to stay still, not concentrating on what the teacher is saying, but now that he got put in the back he can get away with more shit! (Hc that the teacher would try seating Psycho in the front row so they can keep an eye on him because- you know why) so he doesn't mind sitting with this quiet rabbit too much.

(*cough* in the childhood friends AU, Poppy and Psycho would get seated in school together all the time. They want to sit next to each other since they make school more bearable for each other, and the teachers caught on that Poppy can make him behave himself better, and keeps him in class instead of running off doing lord knows what *cough*)

Poppy + Stupid: At first, having this giant weasel seated next to her scared her, but Poppy actually warmed up to him quickly! Sure he was slow and asked her a lot of questions while the teacher was lecturing the class, but he didn't seem to be so bad after all. And Poppy wouldn't mind helping him out with school. I can see these two becoming quick friends ^^ (which could lead to her and Smarty befriending each other since she's bonding with his brother ^^)

In general, Poppy would notice that not many students try to bother her when one of the weasels get seated next to her. And they mostly leave her alone as long as she gives them space (save for Greasy), So at least there's that XD (dear lord, imagine ALL the weasels somehow getting seated next/near her).

Ok so I've had this idea for an au(?) where the toons are twisted in the ways of other twisteds, if that makes sense. So if (random example) Rodger was twisted like Finn, Rodger would have the same mechanics + stats as Finn, and he'd lose his legs and mimic any other changes Finn went through when twisted. Just because Rodger is hypothetically twisted in the way Finn is, doesn't mean that Finn has to twist in the same way as Rodger. I've drawn a couple of twisteds so far as a sort of "proof of concept"

Glisten -> Shelly

Twisted Shelly has that sort of "you CAN'T forget about me now" kinda look on her face, and I felt it worked with Glisten because he likes attention. My idea on how being twisted affects a toon mentally is that it takes one of the toon's worst/most prominent personality traits, and exemplifies it in some sort of horrible awful terrifying way. So, while regular Twisted Glisten's need for attention is exemplified into a deep fear of being alone, This AU Twisted Glisten's need for attention is exaggerated into a vengeful sort of craving for attention, of any kind, which he usually seeks out in the form of fear. Being feared registers in his fucked up little twisted brain as the same as being adored. He has the same mechanics as Shelly - high speed, low attention span, applies confusion 1 to all toons on the floor - which I feel fits him. If the toons do machines slower, then they have to deal with him for longer, thus giving him more time in the "spotlight."

Sprout -> Rodger

While making this, the main thing I was thinking about was how, when playing as Sprout, the only thing on my mind is tapes, and how Sprout mains go absolutely BALLISTIC on anyone who picks up even a single tape (rightfully so imo). That feeling of thinking that you have to hold everyone together, because you have the ability to make hearts out of thin air; that stress, is mainly what inspired this. Basically, sprout is BEYOND fed up with other toons taking his tapes, and disguises himself for the sole purpose of seeking out "greedy" toons who are out to steal "his" tapes. He's filled with nothing but RAGE at ALL times. He has the same mechanics as Rodger - hiding as (an object), using a long-range attack, short detection radius, hiding if left unbothered for long enough - except he hides as fake tapes instead of research capsules. His attack animation isn't an eye laser, but his morphed, ichor-ified, tentacle-tail-scarf thingy. Not sure I'm too proud of the fake tape design, but they don't really have to be perfect, just recognizable from a distance.

This is just so I can keep track of it - but below the cut is a list of every Dogday that Toon DogDay knows, as well as the nickname he has for them.

DogDay Taker, owned by both Oz and Realm in the Care Taker AU - Sunray. Toon sees Ray as his little brother and adores this excitable pup. This nickname is meant to really highlight how warm and excitable this dog is. That and it is kind of a nod to his abilities.

After Joy DogDay, owned by Crazycakeparrotart - Super Nova. To Toon, Super Nova is the ultimate mentor. He's amazed by him and wants to be more like him. The nickname is pretty much due to how massive he is in comparison to Toon - that and with how spectacular a super nova is, it only seems fitting.

Red Rest DogDay, owned by Deleted_va - Sunflower. Toon only meant to try and get Red out of his shell and give him an actual friend, but ended up falling for him when he saw his softer side. The nickname was chosen because sunflowers creeps Toon out a bit, but he finds them to be lovely and can see how one brightens up a room. He feels the exact same about Red.

Charm Magic DogDay, owned by Toast - Sunbeam. Toon is well aware that though this DogDay can literally become a super nova, he still feels the nickname of Sunbeam is more fitting. Gentle, comforting, and warm. He's amazed by this dog's abilities, and this was the first DogDay that he had met who wasn't exposed to the factory. Overall, he loves him dearly and wishes he could help ease his troubles.

Highway Robbery DogDay, owned by Kinger - Noon. Sheriff confuses him, but Toon is amendment about befriending this dog. There's so much about this world that he doesn't understand, but he wants to help Sheriff laugh more. The nickname was picked since noon is when the sun is at it's strongest. That and he couldn't pass up a "High Noon" joke.

Hour of Critters DogDay, owned by Wafel1160 - Sunspot. This DogDay? Toon is annoyed by him - but it's not hatred. It's more of this one being the better toon, and the fact that Toon CatNap can easily snuggle up to him. Any time he sees him, it's a full on cartoon fight. The nickname is meant to partially show he's annoyed by him, but he can respect this toon.

Starsong DogDay, owned by Jaspergem - Solar Flare. This DogDay is the only one that is shorter than he is, so he feels the need to pick him up and carry him around. He adores this pup and feels a strong urge to protect him. Toon sees him as his nephew, making him a fun uncle. The nickname was picked because he's positive that even though this DogDay is tiny, he must be able to pack a punch. Almost every DogDay is a leader for a reason, so Toon is certain that this little guy has a strength he hasn't seen just yet.

Uncontainable DogDay, owned by no-sleep-fox - Dawnbreaker. Yet another massive DogDay, but twice as friendly as the others he's met. Toon adores this DogDay and bonds over their similar fluffy ears. He just wants to hug him and never let him go. The nickname was picked because of how this DogDay is always so optimistic. He sees him as that positive force, the kick start to a new day.

Soulbound Dogday, owned by Nyactophiliac - Summer. This is perhaps the cuddliest DogDay that Toon knows. He just wants to keep this dog smiling and will try to crack a few jokes with him as often as he can. Toon finds him to be one of the comfiest and lovable dogs he's ever met. The nickname was picked because of how warm he finds him. Both in personality and just how warm he is whenever this dog insists on cuddling.

The Smiling Critters - CatNap Headcanons & AU info

Heyyy! I have drawn CatNap in my style/AU! I suck at poses still. And following below is some CatNap headcanons/AU info.

A little info before looking at the headcanon and AU info below:

The Smiling Critters are young adults in the AU (currently unnamed). This is CatNap as a young adult (20 years old). Art of him in his younger years will appear later in the future.

The AU will be focused primarily in the cartoon universe, with a few elements from the game.

Because the AU is still in the works, some of these planned infos/headcanons will change.

There will be ships involved, especially CatNap x DogDay.

CatNap and DogDay lived pretty far away from each other when they were young.

CatNap is the quiet and reserved type and rarely talks. But when someone asks or tells him to talk, he talks. He talks a little more when DogDay is with him. He is only more talkative when he’s alone. Example:

🌸 CraftyCorn 🌸: Hey, CatNap! What do you think of my lavender painting?

🌙 CatNap 🌙: *thumbs up* Good.

☀️ DogDay ☀️: Hey, CatNap! How are you doing?

🌙 CatNap 🌙: *tiredly, but still smiling* I’m doing alright, DogDay? And you?

CatNap was DogDay’s very first friend. They met in elementary school. CatNap was a loner and many kids did not want to hang out with him because he was “too creepy.” DogDay was the one who insisted that he will be CatNap’s first friend. Ever since then, the dog and cat have been inseparable.

CatNap and DogDay kept in touch when they were in high school. Unfortunately, the two were in separate high schools, but they never stopped talking to each other. It’s mostly through letters as they did not have phones at the time. 

CatNap slowly began to develop feelings for DogDay throughout his high school years. He gave the dog small hints and signs, but DogDay was so oblivious and dense.

CatNap left with DogDay to their new homes because not only did DogDay request he come with him, but CatNap also felt like he was ready to move out and be on his own. Not to mention weird dreams he had of a voice telling him to go with DogDay.

When DogDay and CatNap went to the mysterious land, they found their new homes. And their new pendents.

After he walked into the mysterious land, CatNap was secretly happy that his new house and DogDay’s new house are close to each other. And also the fact that his house is a cat tree and he is allowed to scratch on it.

Ever since he moved into his new house, he spent most of the day, sleeping in his new comfortable bed.

Every time CatNap visits each one of his friends’ homes and sees where they sleep, he feels tempted to save up all of his money and buy every single one of them a comfortable bed or something that can be like a bed.

CatNap, just like what his bio says, enjoys watching his friends sleep. He makes sure everyone has a good night’s rest. That includes making sure they have a nightmare-free sleep, and as he stays up, he keeps watch over his friends. Protecting them through the night. And when dawn breaks, he turns in for the day.

He loves to knead DogDay’s belly. His fur is so soft and smells of vanilla, he cannot resist making biscuits.

CatNap acts like a cat a lot. He even loafs, sleeps in such strange (yet cute) positions, and even has cat body language (slow blinking at DogDay, tail up to show he’s happy/friendly, dilating white pupils once he spots a perfect target to pounce on). And he can land on his feet.

CatNap likes to sit and sleep in boxes, sit in anything he can fit in, and pretty much sit where he wants. Why? Because he wants to and it’s comfortable.

He even said one time, “If I fits, I sits.”

One time, Bobby BearHug just hugged DogDay while CatNap was nearby. After Bobby let him go and left, CatNap just quietly went to DogDay and rubbed himself against the dog’s side like how a cat rubs itself on things, mixing his lavender scent into DogDay’s vanilla scent.

Add onto the fact that CatNap can smell who hugged/touched who. PickyPiggy is a bit of a tough one since she eats many different foods, even peppermint candies and vanilla dessert. 

Ever since CatNap walked into the land that will soon become his new home and neighborhood, he has been given two breath abilities. One is lavender, but the red gas came as a last resort if someone keeps staying up late, but it also comes out if he has ill intent, negative emotions, or is under stress. Following that is magical powers, since he was chosen to represent the Moon and all of its aspects (Night, Sleep, Dreams, and Darkness).

Dandy’s World Mimic AU (not permanent name just not creative enough to think of one rn)

AU where everything is pretty similar to the original, but twisteds are replaced with something called 'mimics'. Mimics are completely seperate things from the Toons (so toons wouldn't have to get 'infected' to become twisteds) and can range in intelligence/ sentience and aggression.

Low sentience mimics are pretty much like twisteds in the original, except they dont look like they've been through hell (basically, imagine normal looking toons crawling at you and trying to tear you apart LOL), while high sentience mimics tend to take on some elements from the personalities of their original, whether aggressive or not

Special case mimics are mimics who differ from others in some way, which can throw off toons. Most special case mimics are high sentience. Two examples are Glisten and Cosmo. Glisten tricks people through pity, showing themself as a broken version of his original, while other mimics tend to show themself as the perfect version of their original. Cosmo is a special case simply because he isnt aggressive.

Mimics cant copy small or thin details (since they're basically made of liquid and it cant hold together), so mimics would have to take accessories from the originals (totally not a reason to make super detailed designs that I dont have to actually draw)

Mimics gain intelligence when their originals die, picking up their memories (since they were supposed to be those toons replacements if they die)

Toons (or mimics, in some occasions) can wield weapons called 'neutralizers', which can melt mimics (and toons) and kill them permanently.

Characters allowed to use these (specifically to eliminate mimics) are called 'Judges' (ifykyk), but mimics who got the weapons through unconventional means dont go by the same title.

All characters go down the elevator in teams (which will probably be shown sooner or later) to keep an eye on each other and make sure nobody gets replaced by a mimic.

Uhh the lore goes as follows:

The CEO and Dandy's toon handler wanted to make extra copies of every toon just in case something happened to them. But something went wrong, and the copies became aggressive, attacking the CEO and the other handlers.

Similar to the original, they escaped, leaving behind the toons.

The ichor copies attacked the inexperienced toons simply by instinct, which the toons eventually figured out how to counter (and eliminate) easily. But the mimics quickly became smarter, tricking more and more toons and creating special case mimics.
