Your analysis of Genshin was really interesting! Unfortunately I know jack shit about the game so I can’t discuss the themes of the story with you. Also I’m sorry to hear about Kevin? I haven’t played that part of Honkai yet though so I can’t talk about it.
Sorry for not being very clear about the point I was making regarding Sent, Rita, Durandal, and the rest of Schicksal. What I meant was that despite Senti killing people on Mt. Taixuan and those who worked for Schicksal being complicit in Schicksal’s evil deeds, they were not villianized or killed for their roles in evil acts. None of these characters were in particular positions of authority so I was offering a counterpoint to your belief that “characters forced into terrible situations get villianized and killed off”. For example, Durandal works for Schicksal (the organization who experiments on orphans) and was complicit in HotV’s awakening but she does so because Schicksal’s the best shot at stopping the Honkai and she needs Otto to save the bubble universe she has. I’d say that’s someone who was forced into a relatively terrible situation but she wasn’t villianized or killed. Sorry for being unclear about that, that’s on me for not explaining my point.
Yes, I did exaggerate for dramatic effect when I said that FuHua “immediately” stopped following Otto, so sorry for the confusion. Also I see I made a typo, I mean “she kidnapped” not “he kidnapped” again sorry for the confusion, I promise I know honkai impact lore I swear. So when you say “half of what [I] said about FuHua was straight up wrong” I’m going to assume your talking about her being blackmailed by Otto (sorry if I’m making the wrong assumption)? So, sometime after FuHua was killed by her disciples, she made a deal with Otto that he would protect ShenZhou in exchange for her working for him. At the end of Moon Shadow Otto says “and now [FuHua] must dance to my tunes to ensure the safety of ShenZhou” hence why I referred to her as being blackmailed. FuHua isn’t aligned with Otto because she agrees with him and they aren’t friends, she does it to keep ShenZhou safe from the Honkai since she can’t protect it herself. And yeah, FuHua has no leadership role in Schicksal and can’t influence the decisions the organization makes.
Regarding the HotV incident, FuHua opposed killing the main cast even before she spoke with Himeko and she went to stop HotV from harming innocents despite that going against Otto’s plans. Later she condemned Otto after learning of his true intentions. Outside of kidnapping Kiana after HotV had taken over her mind, FuHua doesn’t do anything to harm the main cast really. I don’t really agree with the premise that she got a redemption arc because her character arc went from being someone blackmailed to follow Otto’s orders to someone who wasn’t willing to follow Otto’s orders despite the consequences, I personally feel like she was never evil enough for it to be a redemption. But I know that this is probably the sort of case that could be argued either way, so on the other hand I would say that this also seems to me to be someone just forced into a terrible situation who isn’t villianized (no one condemns her for kidnapping Kiana, its a total non-issue to the characters) but, uh, she is actually briefly killed (though not permanently) so make of that what you will I guess?
So regarding Kolosten, I didn’t say anything about liking/disliking the arc so I’m sorry you feel like I keep bringing that up but I think this is just a miscommunication? It seems like we have different definitions of redemption arcs so I’m just going to try and identify what those are and present Otto’s actions during Kolosten from a hopefully objective standpoint before I do any analysis. So I’d define a redemption arc as when a character stops being evil and makes up for their past misdeeds in some fashion (or tries to at least). I don’t want to put words in your mouth, but my understanding is that for you a redemption arc is when the audience is no longer supposed to view a character as evil. Otto Apocalpyse doesn’t apologize for his actions, he doesn’t seem to regret them even, and he threatens to turn back time 500 years, killing everyone currently alive. While this is revealed to have been a back-up plan of his, we don’t get any indication that he wouldn’t have resorted to doing so. So by my definition he doesn’t get redeemed - he doesn’t apologize or make the harm he did right. The other definition is a little harder to quantify (death of the author and all) but we can say that Otto doesn’t do anything objectively good at the very least. Many people sympathized with him and wished for him to succeed but that doesn’t stop them from thinking he’s evil, and up until his death he was still ready and willing to do evil things so thinking he’s evil isn’t unfounded. You said that the game “thinks he’s redeemed enough to get a good ending,” but sometimes evil characters still win. Him succeeding in a way people can root for doesn’t mean that he stopped being evil along the way. A character completing or not completing their goals isn’t a statement about their morality.
Edit: I don’t remember the protagonists validating Otto’s world views. Let me know if I’m just straight wrong on this I guess.
Honestly, I agree with your points about the Sirin/HotV/Kiana situation. Your correct on all parts. My point wasn’t about the overall message of the arc or the quality of the writing, just that Sirin was redeemed in my opinion. The whole thing is pretty blurry to if it’s a redemption or villianaized and killed off scenario in my opinion, HotV was definitively not redeemed but, yeah, I think Sirin was. I don’t have any particularly strong feelings about this arc tbh so I’m honestly playing devils advocate a little.
Regarding which antagonists got their humanity validated - I’d personally say Otto (I put Otto here due to the whole “immortal robot man who doesn’t identify as human thing” potentially invalidating his humanity but he’s always been a very human character, that’s never been a question for me), Sirin, Herrscher Mei, and Wendy for characters who rejected their humanity but were shown to be human regardless. Cocolia, Dr. Murata, and the Joyce clones never gave us a reason to question their humanity because they’re literally just guys who are evil. And Anna, Owl, and HoD were all taken over by the Will of the Honkai or whatever super quickly so we didn’t really get to see what they were otherwise like, so yeah I’d agree they were kinda denied their humanity (though Anna and Owl were still pretty sympathetic).
So, I’m done doing analysis at this point and I’m just expositing on obscure lore now. So what happened after the successful proletariat revolution that was the Schicksal civil war? Well, there’s not much we can determine for certain but there’s a few things I can say. In the video linked below (I’m so, so sorry I don’t know how to just insert a link and not a whole video thing), Otto says “[he] spent a lot of time and restructured Schicksal’s hierarchy based on the most advanced managerial theories. Now it can function without my presence most of the time.” Given the knowledge at his disposal this would lead me to believe that he either restructured Schicksal based on more progressive schools of thought that existed at the time (1500s) or based off knowledge he obtained from the Void Archives. I personally think that he probably used knowledge he gained from VA since he was put in power due to a campaign against corrupt theocracy and based on 5 minutes of googling theocracy was pretty big back in the day (and it’s funnier to imagine that the Holy Roman Empire suddenly became a modern democracy overnight). So while the three houses did continue to exist, we don’t know if they held any sort of governmental power after Otto took power. We also don’t know how or when Schicksal transformed from a theocratic European nation to a globe spanning secret society, but there were clearly some changes to Schicksal structure beyond a new management style.

(Disclaimer incase some of y’all don’t have the “Honkai spoilers” and “Genshin spoilers” tags blocked: This post will contain some pretty major spoilers from both games. Also this post is more of a repeat shower thought of mine than a proper analysis)
Something I find… disappointing about Mihoyo’s writing is that it only ever seems to be people who are already in positions of power and authority who get redemption arcs, where as characters who were genuinely just forced into these terrible situations will get villainized and killed off.
Examples:
Ei, leader of a nation and a god, hunted down poor and middle class vision holders (technically a minority group) and stripped them of their will or killed them if they resisted, but the story goes out of its way to show us her grief and hardships, which are supposed to make her worthy of redemption
Dr. MEI, main leader of her era, committed way too many war crimes to list here (main one being experimenting on soldiers and sending them to their death without their consent) and defunded or distracted at least two of the leading scientists working on alternatives, but the story frames her actions as noble and a necessary sacrifice
Otto, part of a ruling lineage and leader of a government party, also committed too many war crimes to list here but we’re gonna focus on the part where he kidnapped and tortured children for science, was given a story the centered around showing us his humanity, motivations, and good intentions/ outcomes
Sirin/HoV one of said children Otto kidnapped and tortured, lashes out and attacks the ones responsible for her pain and those who defend them. Killed off
Kevin, literally just some guy pulled off the street who stepped up when nobody else would, took on a task that was way too big for him to handle, watched almost all his friends die, watched as he was powerless to stop the world from being destroyed, and went along with a desperate and incredibly dangerous plan that he hated, but thought was the only way to prevent what he already lived through from happening again. Deemed a monster that has to be killed
La Signora, a young village woman who’s lover died in a pointless war between gods, had her home destroyed, turned her body into liquid fire, and joined the side that was looking to take down the people who caused her all this pain. Presumably killed off probably not gonna stay that way though so we can come back to this one in a couple years
Some potential exceptions to this trend/ less straightforward examples:
Fu Hua and Kujou Sara (arcs handled similarly, so I’m lumping them together). Though they are both technically leaders, they aren’t by any means the one in charge. Their motivations, reasoning, and potential for redemption is established incredibly early on and the story is quick to show us that even though they’re on the bad guy team at first, they have noble intentions. They also spend the majority of their time in the story actually doing the leg work to prove they’re a good guy
Scaramouche. Though he is technically the child of a god, he’s still a parental abuse victim and the story repeatedly puts him in positions of powerlessness and servitude. He also spent the majority of his life living in poverty. Though he hasn’t exactly been redeemed for his war crimes yet, the story is giving him a chance to work for it
The grand sage. Example of a corrupt person in power we actually did get to take down. Though it should be noted that the story frames it as though that power was never rightfully his in the first place
Idk, it’s not enough for me to go and try and accuse Mihoyo of anything, nor am I trying to say that all these stories were handled poorly (and yes, I’m fully aware that a lot of my descriptions were oversimplifications of the canon). It’s just a pattern that I’m side-eying Mihoyo for. A trend that does make me straight up go “hey, Mihoyo, what the fuck-“
Why is every scientist tampering with human biology and evolution depicted as some puppy-kicking lunatic? Why does the story focus so heavily on demonizing their areas of research and acting like those are the problem, not the fact that they’re committing several OSHA violations? I know I’ve ranted about this point before, but I just find it incredibly strange

Hi! Sorry if this is a long request but I remember very early on Sylus saying that he gets easily bored when things aren't exciting and it's mentioned in 1 of his character notes. I was wondering if I can please request a HC were the reader and Sylus are in a relationship but the reader thinks they are just fwb because they remember Sylus saying he gets bored easily, meanwhile Sylus thinks they're in a committed relationship and gets confused when he over hears the reader (maybe talking to her friend?) Saying how she wishes she sometimes had a boyfriend so they could do all the "normal couple things" and he confronts her about it? Thank you!
Sylus claiming you as his
You sat on the edge of the bed, your phone pressed to your ear, your voice soft as you talked to your friend. Sylus was across the room, looking relaxed as he read something on his datapad, seemingly disinterested in your conversation. But that couldn't be further from the truth.
"I just wish I had a boyfriend" you said, a sigh escaping your lips. "Someone to do, you know, couple stuff with. Like dates, going out... all those normal things."
You didn't notice the way Sylus's fingers tightened around the edge of the datapad or the way his sharp gaze flicked toward you at that exact moment. But in the next heartbeat before you could react he was beside you ripping the phone from your grasp with a speed that left you breathless.
"What the hell did you just say sweetie?" His voice was low but there was an edge to it-one that sent a shiver down your spine.
"Sylus, what-" you began but he cut you off, pressing the phone to his chest as he glared down at you, eyes darkening.
"You wish you had a boyfriend?" He repeated your words with a scoff, his brow furrowed. "What do you think this is? Some kind of joke?"
You blinked up at him, heart stuttering. "I thought we weren't... I mean, I didn't think we were actually-"
"Not actually what kitten?" he interrupted, voice rising just slightly. His usual calm, teasing demeanor was gone, replaced by something hard, intense and almost... hurt. "You thought this was some casual thing? Some fling?"
Your mouth opened, but nothing came out.
In truth, you had no idea how to answer that.
You'd convinced yourself that Sylus would get bored, that this was all temporary and that treating it like anything more would only end in heartbreak.
His lips curled into a tight, humorless smile.
"Sweetie” he said, voice dripping with disbelief “I don't know what kind of 'fling' you think this is but I sure as hell didn't sign up for that."
The tension in the room was suffocating, the air thick with unspoken emotions. You bit your lip, trying to gather your thoughts. "You said... you get bored easily” you murmured, your voice barely audible. "I thought... maybe you'd get bored of me too."
For a moment, Sylus said nothing, just stared at you like he was trying to process what you'd just confessed. Then, without warning, a low, incredulous laugh bubbled up from his throat.
"Bored? Kitten, are you serious right now?"
Before you could respond, Sylus closed the distance between you, his hands finding your waist as he yanked you closer, his lips brushing the shell of your ear. "You think I'd be spending all my time with you, putting up with all your little antics, if I wasn't serious?"
Your breath hitched as his fingers dug into your skin just enough to make you squirm.
He was mad, no doubt about it but there was something else underneath that anger-something possessive, something that sent heat coursing through your veins.
"You don't need a boyfriend" he murmured, his lips trailing down the side of your neck, his breath warm against your skin. "You already have one."
Your heart stuttered at his words and you felt him smirk against your throat as he started to press slow, deliberate kisses there. "But if you really need proof.."
He bit down gently on your skin, pulling a gasp from your lips as he sucked hard enough to leave a mark—a claim. "I'll remind you."
Your pulse quickened, your hands instinctively gripping his shoulders as he worked his way along your neck, leaving a trail of hickies in his wake. "S-Sylus..." you breathed but the word came out shaky, almost desperate.
"What?" he teased, lips brushing against your collarbone now. "Isn't this what couples do? A normal boyfriend would mark what's his, wouldn't he?"
He tugged at the collar of your blouse, undoing the buttons one by one, his hands moving with practiced ease. Your heart raced, anticipation building as your skin was exposed to the cool air. Sylus's fingers skimmed over the bare skin of your chest, making you shiver, his touch sending a wave of heat through your entire body.
"Sylus" you tried again, your voice coming out in a mix of breathlessness and embarrassment. "This—this isn't..."
"Not couple enough for you?" he finished for you, voice teasing now, the anger from earlier fading into something playful, dangerous. "Because I can keep going, kitten. I can show you just how committed I am."
He kissed you again, harder this time, his tongue tracing the marks he'd left behind and you whimpered softly, your body arching into him as his hands slipped under your blouse. He grinned against your skin, his fingers tracing patterns down your spine as he leaned into you.
"You don't need to look anywhere else” he whispered, voice dark and possessive.
"Because you're already mine. Understand?"
His lips met yours then a kiss that was rough and consuming, filled with all the emotions he hadn't spoken aloud and in that moment, with his body pressing you into the bed and his hands exploring every inch of your skin, you knew one thing for certain:
You'd never been more his than you were right now.

A Stark’s Fury
Cregan Stark x targ!wife! reader
[warning: blood, you getting cut in the arm
[synopsis: You are the wife of Cregan and younger sister of rhaenyra. You get cut in the arm and your son, Eddard, also gets hurt. Which makes cregan furious.
[note | here’s a lil something while i write the final chapter for winters embrace, just a short drabble :) also instead of rhae getting cut it’s you.
[requested: by anon
The sun dipped low over the horizon, casting an amber glow across Driftmark. Laena Velaryon’s funeral was a somber affair, filled with the mournful silence of the assembled nobles and the soft lapping of waves against the shore. Among the gathered were you, the younger sister of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, your husband Cregan Stark, and your son Eddard, who clung to your skirts, his wide eyes taking in the solemnity of the occasion.
Your silver hair flowed down your back, and your violet eyes glistened with unshed tears as you stood beside Cregan. His strong arm encircled your waist, offering silent support. Despite the warmth of the setting sun, a chill hung in the air, a reflection of the grief that weighed heavily on your hearts.
As the ceremony proceeded, you noticed the tension simmering among the children. Your son, Eddard, stood with Jace, Luke, Baela, and Rhaena, trying to comfort them in their shared sorrow. Your heart ached for them, especially for Rhaena, who had just lost her mother.
When the time came for the family to pay their final respects, you and Cregan approached the bier. You whispered a prayer for Laena’s soul, your voice barely audible over the sound of the crashing waves. Cregan squeezed your hand gently, his presence a solid rock amidst the turbulent sea of emotions.
After the funeral, you found yourself in the grand hall, where the tension between the Blacks and the Greens was palpable. You kept a watchful eye on Eddard, who was playing with the other children. However, the peace was shattered when a scuffle broke out between Aemond and Jace. The sight of Aemond taunting Jace, and the resulting fight, sent a shockwave through the hall.
Eddard tried to intervene, but in the chaos, he was struck and fell to the ground, crying out in pain. You rushed to his side, your heart pounding with fear and anger. Cregan was by your side in an instant, his protective instincts flaring as he assessed the situation.
“What happened?” he demanded, his voice a low growl.
“Aemond taunted Jace, and then the fight started,” you explained, your voice trembling with emotion as you cradled Eddard.
Cregan’s eyes darkened with anger. “This has gone too far.”
The confrontation escalated when Alicent Hightower, her face twisted with rage, advanced on Rhaenyra, who was defending her sons. You stepped between them, trying to defuse the situation, but Alicent’s fury was uncontrollable. She drew a knife, lunging at Rhaenyra, but you intercepted the blow.
The blade sliced across your arm, and you cried out in pain, clutching the wound. Cregan’s roar of fury echoed through the hall as he moved to shield you. He grabbed the knife from Alicent’s hand, his face a mask of rage.
“Enough!” he bellowed. “This madness ends now!”
King Viserys, looking frail and distressed, tried to intervene. “Peace! There must be peace!”
Cregan turned on the king, his eyes blazing. “Peace? Look at what your family has done! My wife is injured, my son is hurt, and for what? Petty squabbles and insults?”
Rhaenyra, tears streaming down her face, reached for you. “Sister, I’m so sorry.”
You managed a weak smile, despite the pain. “It’s not your fault, Rhaenyra. But something must change.”
As the maesters attended to your wound, Cregan kept a protective arm around you. He glared at the Greens, making it clear that any further aggression would not be tolerated. The hall was filled with a tense silence, the air thick with unspoken threats and unresolved grievances.
In the aftermath, Cregan insisted on returning to Winterfell with you and Eddard. “We’ll be safer there,” he said, his voice gentle but firm. “I won’t risk your lives any longer.”
You nodded, grateful for his unwavering support. “Thank you, Cregan.”
He kissed your forehead, his lips warm against your cool skin. “I love you. I will always protect you.”
As you prepared to leave Driftmark, you couldn’t help but feel a pang of sadness for the family you were leaving behind. You took a moment to say your farewells to Rhaenyra and her children.
“Please, take care of yourselves,” you whispered to Rhaenyra, holding her hands tightly. “We’ll be in touch, I promise.”
Rhaenyra nodded, her eyes filled with worry. “Be safe, sister.”
With a final embrace, you and Cregan gathered Eddard and boarded your ship, setting sail for Winterfell. The journey was long, but Cregan’s presence and Eddard’s innocent chatter kept your spirits high.
Winterfell welcomed you with open arms. The cold, crisp air and the familiar sights brought a sense of comfort. As you settled back into your home, the events at Driftmark seemed like a distant nightmare.
Cregan, ever the doting husband, ensured you had everything you needed to recover from your injury. He personally oversaw the maesters’ treatments, and his protective nature brought you solace.
A few hours later, as you sat by the fire, Cregan wrapped a warm blanket around your shoulders and handed you a cup of hot tea. “How are you feeling?” he asked, concern etched on his face.
“Better,” you replied, taking a sip. “Thanks to you.”
He smiled, sitting beside you. “I’ll always be here for you. No matter what.”
You leaned against him, finding comfort in his strength. “I know. And I’m grateful.”
Life in Winterfell slowly returned to normal. Eddard resumed his lessons and playtime with the other children, while you and Cregan focused on the responsibilities of ruling the North. Despite the distance from Driftmark, the shadow of that day lingered.
Later that night, as you lay in bed, you turned to Cregan. “Do you think things will ever be right again between the Blacks and the Greens?”
Cregan sighed, his brow furrowing in thought. “It’s hard to say. The wounds run deep. But we must try, for the sake of our family.”
You nodded, understanding the gravity of his words. “I want Eddard to grow up in a world where he doesn’t have to choose sides.”
Cregan’s grip on your hand tightened. “We’ll do everything in our power to make that happen.”
Many moons have passed, and your wound healed, leaving only a faint scar as a reminder of the confrontation. The bond between you and Cregan grew stronger, forged in the fires of adversity. Winterfell thrived under your joint leadership, a beacon of stability and strength. In the morning, as the first snow of the season blanketed the ground, you stood on the battlements with Cregan, watching Eddard play with the other children.
“He’s so happy here,” you remarked, smiling at the sight of your son’s laughter.
Cregan wrapped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you close. “Of course he is, this is our home. He’s meant to be here.”
You nodded silently, feeling a deep sense of peace. Your eyes went to the scar on your arm, being reminded of what happened. You looked at your husband, with sadness in your eyes.
“I hope my family will stop this infighting, i wish for all of this today end” Your thoughts began to wonder of all the possible outcomes this conflict can end with. This could very well mean that death will linger in your family. Something no one will ever be prepared for, war costs everything.
The quietness of Winterfell enveloped you as you drifted into a fitful sleep beside Cregan. The room was cold, and the memory of the somber events—the funeral of Lady Laena Velaryon, the sharp sting of your wound—still weighed heavily on you.
In your dream, the landscape was bleak and foreboding. A storm raged over a desolate battlefield, its fury tearing at the very fabric of the sky. You wandered through the chaos, a spectral figure in the storm’s heart. Amidst the destruction, you saw a vision of a great dragon, its scales a dim and faded silver, bound by chains of ice that slowly constricted around its body. The dragon’s eyes were filled with a profound sorrow, as if it sensed the end drawing near.
A shadowy figure emerged from the storm—a man cloaked in shadows, his face obscured but his presence undeniably menacing. His voice cut through the tempest, speaking directly to your mind, “The chains of fate are not easily broken. A great loss is coming to your house.”
As you reached out to free the dragon, a dark prophecy formed in your mind, clear as day. “Cregan will face a treacherous choice,” you heard yourself say in the dream. “A betrayal will come from within. Death will follow.”
You awoke with a start, the remnants of the dream lingering like a cold shiver down your spine. Your breathing was rapid and uneven, and a profound fear gripped you. You turned to Cregan, who was lying beside you, his face furrowed in concern.
The sudden movement and your distressed state had startled him. “What’s wrong?” he asked, his voice rough with sleep as he reached out to steady you. His hand found yours, his grip warm and reassuring against your icy fingers.
“My dream,” you managed to stammer, your voice trembling. “I saw... I saw something terrible. A dragon in chains, and a warning about you—”
Cregan’s eyes narrowed with concern, but he quickly sat up, his arm wrapping protectively around you. “What did you see? Tell me everything,” he urged, his voice steady despite the worry etched on his face.
You took a deep breath, trying to steady your racing heart. “I don’t know all the details, but it felt so real. I fear that something dark is coming, and it will bring pain to us and our house.”
Cregan nodded, his expression resolute despite the alarm in his eyes. “It’s okay,” he said softly, pulling you closer to his body. “For now, try to rest. You need it” He cradled your body as you leaned towards him, the warmth of his body bringing you comfort.
As you lay back down, you could feel the storm of fear inside you slowly ebbing, but the weight of the dream’s prophecy remained heavy in your heart.

daylight ❀ s. reid x reader
in which communicating with your boyfriend is scary, and spencer reid can't stand to see you cry.
pairing: spencer reid x fem!reader genre: comfort/fluff! tags: reader avoids her issues... for a little bit. that's kind of it. it's just fluffy and simple! word count: 1.5k a/n: something short & sweet because i thought it was cute and i write the most when i'm procrastinating assignments... um… inspired by a conversation sam willow and i were having a few nights ago🫂 reminder that pretty girls cry when they’re confronting somebody!!
Spencer Reid was not oblivious to all things in the world. In fact, he was rather perceptive compared to most people. Psychology degree and human behaviour-based job aside, he noticed things.
A lot of it was good. He knew exactly how to wake you up on mornings he started earlier than you. How to keep you half-asleep enough to allow you your return to sleep, but also awake enough to ensure you'd remember him kissing you goodbye (there had been an argument a few months ago about it — you thought he had left without a word). He knew your go-to Thai order from the restaurant down the street, and he knew which pair of wooden chopsticks your favourite were to pull out of his kitchen drawers.
He was also observant enough to know something was wrong.
He was back from a case. A long one, that had worn him down enough that he felt like a pile of creaking bones when he re-entered his apartment earlier that afternoon. You had returned from your own job an hour after that, and despite the initial excitement that came from your boyfriend being back in the state again, you were a bundle of nerves.
And he knew that.
You were on his couch, legs across his lap and back up against the arm, his hands resting comfortable in the dip between your two knees. There was a quiet episode of New Girl playing on the television (you had convinced him to watch it after he had sat you through every Star Trek movie), but your thoughts were anywhere but the sitcom you had been using to entertain yourself as of recent.
"You've been awfully quiet," Spencer said, piercing the less than comfortable air settled around you two.
"Sorry," you answered, tearing your gaze from the screen to look at him, meeting a worried expression you had somewhat expected.
Hands ran up and down your legs, erupting goosebumps along the skin. "Is something wrong?"
"No," you immediately shook your head and forced a smile onto your face. "Nothing's wrong."
He furrowed his eyebrows, lips parting in that confused look he always had on his face when he was thinking, and he stared at you for a few seconds longer, before, "Yes there is."
Profilers. "Seriously, Spence. There isn't. I'm just kind of tired tonight."
"I am as well," he said, hands stilling on your legs rather abruptly. "I was in Idaho for a week. I'm also exhausted. And usually my girlfriend is a little touchier and more talkative than this when I come home. So I'm assuming something's wrong."
"You're assuming incorrectly, then," your shoulders shrugged.
He said your name chidingly, and it was at that tone of voice that you retracted your legs from his lap, instead tucking your feet beneath yourself, gaze dropping to the couch cushion.
"I just missed you," you told him, a slight stretch of the truth.
"I missed you too," he said, and your shoulders softened. "But that's not all it is."
You blinked, before you fell silent, shaking your head instead.
"Talk to me. What's happened?" his voice was achingly soft, your heart shattering in your chest to the point you wanted to take back every thought you'd had over the past week and burn them to ashes. They didn't mean much now in front of him. Not when he was reminding you of how kind he was.
"You barely talked to me," you said, hands dropping to your lap, and you fidgeted with them under his gaze. "I never knew what was going on. You didn't call once, except for when you landed."
"I was really busy, honey," he answered, and you could hear the frown in his voice. "If I had time to do anything other than the case and sleep, you know I'd have talked to you more."
"I know," your voice shook, and you could feel your emotions overriding your brain. As usual. So, you kept your head down. "But I would've liked you to tell me that, at least."
You heard him sigh, and curiosity got the best of you as you lifted your gaze, inspecting to see if he was sighing out of irritation or not. He wasn't — just exhaustion — and that made you feel a little better.
"I know for next time then," he said, and he met your eyes, which had watered since the last time he looked at you. Which wasn't very long ago, and so he was drawing his eyebrows together, again, confusedly. "What's that? What's wrong?"
On instinct he leaned forwards, and you let him shift his body closer to yours, hands coming up on either side of your neck. You sniffled, trying to suck the tears threatening to fall back into your eye sockets.
"I can't communicate," you mumbled, quietly, a tear escaping and dripping down to the lower half of your cheek.
"You communicated pretty well just then, angel," he said, voice soft as he caught the remainder of the tear and swiped it away with his thumb.
"Yeah but—but now I'm crying," you moaned, pathetically, more tears slipping down your face. His lips twitched — though not in humour, you noted — as he adjusted his hands to your jaw, thumbs continuing to wipe falling tears.
"Yeah. That's okay," he answered. "You've got a flood of hormones going through you right now, and so your body reacts to it in the best way it sees fit. In your case, it's tears."
"I hate it," you mumbled, and this time he did laugh a little, nodding his head.
"I know," he said. "Are you feeling embarrassed about communicating with me?"
"I guess," you replied. "I don't know. I think I just..." you trailed off as your voice disappeared, breath beginning to hyperventilate acutely. "I—I just feel kind of sil—silly."
You cursed each sob that broke up your speech, and yet his gaze and focus on you never once wavered. In fact, his touch seemingly had grown softer, and the concern in his eyes had only grown.
"You aren't silly," he said, once he was sure you weren't going to continue speaking. "If me not talking to you for a week upset you, I'd say that's pretty reasonable."
"I don't know..."
"Want a secret?" he asked, fingers poking into your cheeks enough for you to crack a small smile. You only nodded your head in response, chest still jolting with each sharp intake of breath. "I have to physically restrain myself from calling you every hour on a normal day."
"You're lying," you mumbled, and his smile only widened, a bashful laugh leaving his lips.
"No, honestly. I have so much I want to talk to you about during the day, and I need to remind myself that you're busy and at work too."
A few uncontrollable tears dripped down your face, and your gaze dropped to the top of his shirt, though the smile never left your face. "I don't believe you."
"I wish you would, but that's okay," he said, evidently seeing right through your defying statement — you believed him a little.
His forefinger and thumb caught your chin, and he tilted your head back up so his eyes could meet your glassy ones.
"I'm sorry," you murmured, before he could get a word in.
"For what?"
"Crying."
"Do you take in anything I say to you?" he chastised, though the smile on his face eliminated any fear of him being genuinely irritated, and so your shoulders simply shrugged.
"Sometimes," you said, and his eyebrows shot up.
"Sometimes?" he repeated back to you, and you had to bite your lip to keep the amused expression off your face. He was smiling back at you, before his face settled into something more serious, as he continued, "I don't mind you crying, angel. It breaks my heart to see it, but I'm not sitting here and judging you for it. You know that, right?"
"Yeah."
"Good," he finalised with a short nod, and you sniffled with a nod of your own.
"I mean, technically, crying is good," you said, tongue poking between your teeth as you forced back a smile.
"Yeah? Why's that?"
"Releases endorphins and oxytocin."
He huffed a single laugh through his nose, nodding his head. "Yes. It does."
"I know things," you grinned.
"You do," he agreed with a nod. "My smart girl."
"Yeah. Don't ever forget it."
"I could never," he replied, and a comfortable silence enveloped your two bodies, your heart fluttering in your chest.
"Can you tell me about Idaho?" you finally asked him.
"You really want to know?"
You nodded your head, and he sighed, but complied regardless. And you eventually found your head in his lap, staring up at him as one hand danced gently over the skin of your slightly exposed stomach, the other entangled in your hair, brushing through it.
And he told you about the case he had been away on — it became glaringly obvious behind why he hadn't called or messaged you at all — and consequently eased any other remaining worries behind it.
And it dried your tears up.

PLEASE support The Innocence Project. Let the state sanctioned murder of Marcellus Williams radicalize you into caring about incarcerated people. Don’t let those in office that allow for this to defeat you. Incarcerated people are among the most violated and exploited class of people in the United States. We have built a justice system that benefits off of the mass incarceration of marginalized people. Incarceration is used to disenfranchise people. It is used for modern day slavery. Anyone can become incarcerated. It is the quickest and easiest way for your government to strip you of your rights.
#truth#i fully agree#sorry if my first reblog came across as confrontational#i wasn't disagreeing at all

Omg I love love loooovvee your wind breaker hcs! Could you do girlfriend reader leaving lipstick kisses on the boys? 😘💋
WINDBREAKER | love marks
Characters ✰ Haruka Sakura, Hajime Umemiya, Hayato Suo, Akihiko Nirei, Kaji Ren, Toma Hiragi, Jo Togame
Contains ✰ indirectly getting caught, teasing, reader did it on purpose in some scenarios, content of the boys getting confronted by their friends
Haruka Sakura ᡣ𐭩
❤︎ unfortunately Sakura failed to realize the stain your nude pink-ish colored lipstick left on the corner of his lip before leaving to meet his friends
❤︎ “oh my Sakura~ i do wonder what you were doing before getting here” Suo immediately teased with a charming smile
❤︎ Sakura looked at Suo and his friends suspiciously as they were all grinning ear to ear at him. the man hated being put on the spot which is something they were painfully aware of
❤︎ Nirei was the first one to crack while letting out a nervous laugh and saying “Sakura you got a little something here.” while pointing at his lips
❤︎ Sakura bolted out of his seat to run into the restroom as his friends all laughed at his sudden movement
❤︎ his face had a furious blush scattered across his cheeks as he spotted the mark on his lips
❤︎ he roughly scrubbed off the make up for about five minutes with water and a paper towel. jeez— who knew removing make up can be so hard?
❤︎ he yanked his phone out of his pocket to send you a message only to find that you already texted him one of your own
❤︎ your message read: hope you enjoyed your little surprised Haru <3
❤︎ why you little—
Hajime Umemiya ᡣ𐭩
❤︎ Umemiya was a different case, this man was so shameless it was actually hard to make him be embarrassed of anything
❤︎ so when Hiragi finally told him about the pink kiss stain on his cheek he didn’t have much of a reaction and continued the meeting as if he didn’t receive such information
❤︎ it was only after the meeting that he decided to wipe off the stain with the palm of his hand
❤︎ update: it didn’t work, he simply just smeared it around with that motion instead of it actually working
❤︎ he didn’t bother to remove it after that, he simply just shrugged and chuckled with a “i guess that’s that.” while Hiragi facepalmed
❤︎ since he couldn’t get it off the first time he just walked around the whole day with the smeared kiss mark on his cheek
❤︎ no one else really dared to point it out so he nearly forgot about it until he had seen you again and you let out a gasp
❤︎ it was safe to say that you were more embarrassed than he was as you began to apologize profusely
❤︎ “i’m so sorry Ume!! i didn’t see that on you before i left!” “it’s okay, i barely even noticed it.” is the only thing he’d say in response before leaning in for another kiss
❤︎ he never really learns, does he?
Hayato Suo ᡣ𐭩
❤︎ Suo was so suave and calm most of the time that it was hard to even imagine that he’d miss something like this
❤︎ you thought about all the ways you could catch him off guard just to see him not be able to smoothly charm his way out of things
❤︎ that’s when the idea came to you; to plant a kiss mark without him noticing. you did it while you hugged him goodbye so the mark landed on his jawline
❤︎ surprisingly enough no one actually realized he had the mark or even caught onto it. not even Nirei saw it despite standing the closest to him the whole day
❤︎ Suo eventually saw it once he saw himself in the mirror at the end of the day. you had left the mark around 8am just for him to barely notice it at 10pm—
❤︎ he almost missed it but then once he tilted his chin higher the mark became more visible
❤︎ he simply shrugged and snapped a photo of it to send it to you as he assumed it was an accident
❤︎ “hey love, i think you accidentally marked me XD” “YOU JUST REALIZED THAT?” “what you mean ‘just’? O.O” “nvm”
❤︎ he took another look at the mark and reconsidered the possibility of it being an accident. the only words he mumbled out was “how sneaky” before a small smile caught his lips
❤︎ he’ll definitely remember this as he plans to get you back another day
Akihiko Nirei ᡣ𐭩
❤︎ Nirei spends a lot of the time looking at himself in the mirror so he notices it pretty fast in comparison to all the other boys
❤︎ it’s hard to catch the man lacking when he spends a lot of the time looking at his outfits for hours. of course he notices every small detail about himself
❤︎ he was glad he caught it in time he most likely would’ve became a stammering mess if any of his friends had been the one to point it out
❤︎ at least he was glad until he realized he couldn’t get the product off
❤︎ he scrubbed and scrubbed but the make up was super strong. it wasn’t coming off even to save his life
❤︎ he unrelectuntaty had to go meet Sakura and Suo with the mark smeared around his lips
❤︎ Sakura noticed it immediately and asked “did you bust your lip??? who did that to you?” already getting ready to find whoever hurt his friend
❤︎ Sakura was a dimwit when it came to these things so he didn’t realize what it was and automatically assumed it was a busted lip
❤︎ Suo let out a sigh and chuckle to Sakura’s reaction since unlike him, Suo was fully aware of what it actually was
❤︎ despite knowing what it was Suo didn’t expose Nirei in the moment and left Sakura in the dark. however, that didn’t mean Nirei was safe. Suo was definitely going to bring this up again some other time
Kaji Ren ᡣ𐭩
❤︎ Ren was always careful about how his appearance looked like. not that he actually cared but mainly because he didn’t need anyone else catching onto what activities he may have been participating in with you
❤︎ he typically made sure he didn’t look disheveled before heading out but today was different since he was in a rush to get to a meeting
❤︎ he had gotten so carried away in his heated make out session with you that he didn’t have enough time to pamper himself and needed to run out the door
❤︎ his hair was a slight mess which he was able to easily fix with his hands as he smoothed out the mess before seeing Hiragi
❤︎ Hiragi quirked an eyebrow up while letting out the smallest smirk. it was so fast Ren almost missed it. keyword: almost.
❤︎ “what’s that face for?” Ren immediately put up a defensive tone. “nothing, just seems like you been having a lot of fun.” Hiragi teased before yanking on Ren’s collar to expose the red mark on it
❤︎ Ren’s face slightly dropped before pulling himself back together. he shoved the collar of his shirt into his hoodie trying to hide it while mumbling the quickest lie he could think of.
❤︎ “i got into a fight before getting here… must be some old blood” “oh yeah, it must be in that case.” Hiragi sarcastically responded sparing his friend the embarrassment
Toma Hiragi ᡣ𐭩
❤︎ his whole group of underclassmen were on his ass as soon as they all spotted the mark on his neck
❤︎ he cursed the day he was born before taking some medication for all the headaches they were giving him that day
❤︎ “tsk. kids. you wouldn’t understand, none of you can even get a partner if you tried.” is the he only thing he would tell them if they continued to pry into getting him to say how he got the mark
❤︎ of course that response gathered an uproar from the kiddos as they took the insult to the heart. some hurt because they knew it was true with their lack of flirting skills
❤︎ the teasing got so bad even Umemiya had to tell them to back off after some time, knowing how stressed and overwhelmed Hiragi can get
❤︎ definitely not one of his most finest days but didn’t dread on it for long since things happen
❤︎ you were very apologetic once you heard about the day he had from others
❤︎ “i’m so sorry Toma!” you’d embrace him in a hug while nonstop apologizing
❤︎ unfortunately for you, your boyfriend could be quite a tease at times so a smirk made its way up to his lips before saying “it’s okay, maybe you can make it up to me by leaving me another?”
Jo Togame ᡣ𐭩
❤︎ it took Togame the longest to realize the kiss stain on his shirt out of all the boys
❤︎ due to his previous reputation, no one knew whether or not they should point it out. they weren’t too fond of the idea of getting beat up by the giant man so no one told him anything
❤︎ the only one who finally pointed it out was Choji as he asked why Jo had a chocolate stain on his shirt (you had been wearing a brown nude shade of lipstick which is why Choji mistakes it for chocolate)
❤︎ “huh? i didn’t eat chocolate today.” Togame would respond confusedly to his short friend while pulling on his shirt to find the stain
❤︎ “oh, then what is it?” Choji was genuinely intrigued by the conversation now as he wanted a response.
❤︎ Jo’s face turned a small shade of light pink remembering the prior events that occurred earlier that day
❤︎ “…nevermind. it’s chocolate. i just forgot i had some before coming here.” lies
❤︎ despite how bold Togame can be he most definitely did not want to have that talk with his longest friend
❤︎ Choji gave his friend a look that read ‘seriously?’ which Togame decided to ignore. he had bigger things to deal with… like finding you and getting more kisses

Give This Old Man a Heart Attack - A.H
a/n: incredibly self-indulgent per usual because i'm the biggest cry baby to ever exist
masterlist
₊˚ ✩°。⋆♡ ⋆˙⟡♡ ⋆˙⟡♡⋆。°✩˚₊‧
pairings: aaron hotchner x reader
summary: you make a mistake that almost gets you killed and hotch has a few choice words about it
warnings: slight angst, happy endings, established relationship, you're in trouble, suggestive ending nothing crazy, hotch is a sucker and gives in way too easily to you
wc: 0.9k
You were an idiot. You were so utterly stupid, and you could feel the heat coursing through you, prickling at your fingertips and scorching your ears. You had braced yourself for this moment all day, but the sheer anger in Hotch's eyes was something no amount of bracing could shield you from.
You were quite accustomed to his eerily tranquil expression, often misleading, like a wolf in sheep's clothing. Today though, you were the focus of that discerning stare.
"Do you understand that gravity of your actions today?"
You were fighting every urge to cry. Confrontation had always been your Achillies' heel, a fact that seemed laughable given your line of work.
You weren't talking about the type of confrontation that came with gunning down unsubs or running into burning buildings. No, it was the intimate kind, the kind that involved the disappointment in the eyes of those you cared about, those you respected, especially him.
So here you stood, tears simmering at the edges of your vision, your hands fidgeting and folding over themselves, knuckles whitening with the pressure.
Your lips parted, ready to speak, to defend yourself, but the rising lump in your throat held the words captive. Silence seemed like the better choice, so you offered a nod instead.
Hotch's hand briefly obscured his face, thumb and middle finger pressing against the bridge of his nose, as he cast a handful of documents onto his desk. They landed haphazardly, a chaotic reflection of the mistakes you made on this case.
"You could've gotten killed." Each word was forced out between clenched teeth. Never a good sign. "In fact, you were this close."
You felt his assessment was inflated, but now was definitely not the right time to point that out. You swallowed the rising retort and cautiously shifted a fraction closer to the desk, eyes flicking to the closed door behind you.
"I'm sorry, Aaron," you said softly, voice betraying the slightest fracture. "It won't happen again."
The sound of your strained syllables caused his head to jerk up. Contrarily, you recoiled, bowing your head into your chest as you feigned interested in the carpet's intricate threads. It was an interesting color.
You failed to register him circling the desk. Not until the space between you was nearly nonexistent. The toe of his shoes just within your field of view. They were semi-brogue oxfords. His favorite.
The accumulated emotions of the week finally broke through, your shoulders trembling as you frantically brushed away the mortifying tears with your sleeve, only to feel his hands on your shoulders, drawing you into his chest.
"No, no," you protested, but the resistance in your voice was absent in your actions, as you found yourself easily giving into the warmth of his chest. "Don't feel bad for me just because I'm crying."
He said nothing, just a faint hum that filled the space, the vibrations sending ripples across your cheek.
"You—, you were reprimanding me," you paused to sniffle, "and I deserve to be reprimanded. I know what I did was stupid."
"It was." His hand lay on your back, thumb circling lightly through your dress shirt, nearly burning through the fabric. "But I'm not going to continue to berate you when I feel as though you've learned your lesson."
"You weren't berating me," you mumble against his shirt.
"I made you cry."
When you looked up, your saw the concern etched on his face, brows pinched, a frown marring his handsome face. His hands cradled your face, thumbs gently clearing the tears as you breathed out a sigh.
"I think you know me well enough to know that it doesn't take much to make me cry."
This was true. You kept your emotions were always close to the surface, whether from happiness, sadness, or sheer frustration.
Once you had sobbed over the unequal lengths of your shoelace bows. Morgan then proceeded to ask if you had ever been tested for autism.
"It doesn't make it any more disheartening to see," he said, shifting his hands to rest on your shoulders. He looked tired and it made you want to cry all over again.
"Would you feel that way if I was Reid?" You asked. It was a loaded question. One you peppered him with often.
You had strived to draw clear lines between your professional and personal lives, but moments like this made it very difficult.
He didn't even bother you with a response, and he didn't need to. You knew the answer.
Another quick look over your shoulder, and you pressed a swift kiss to his lips. There was a moment of hesitation from him, the stickler for rules that he is, but soon his restraint gave way, his hand seeking you with a desperate intensity.
He drew back just enough to study your face, like he was trying to commit every detail to memory, like he was making sure you were really there.
"You really scared me today," he confessed, your foreheads resting together as your eyes locked.
"I know."
"Please don't do that again," he implored, pausing only to plant another quick kiss on your upper lip. "This old man's heart can only take so much."
You beamed at him with a cheeky smile. "I can't make any guarantees."
As you headed for the door, he sent a quick slap to your ass, drawing out a bubbly giggle that vibrated through the room.
That old man's heart definitely might give out after what you had planned for tonight.

Dream Girl
Summary: Did you seriously think you’d be able to get over someone like Ellie Williams? Think again, dream girl.
an: I’m so obsessed with this series and the portrayal of Ellie, there’s just something about a small town romance that scratches the sweet spot in my brain. I hope you guys have enjoyed this one just as much as I have! Thank you so much for all of the support 🤍
Warnings: smut! MDNI!! 18+, tribbing (another tribbing fic by Luna?? Ofc do you not know me by now?), lots of kissing, sub!ellie if you squint, angst, mentions of another love interest, mentions of cheating, reader sucks Ellie’s fingers, pet names, unsure and closed off reader, pls lmk if I missed anything!
Read part 1 here!!
You watched from your bed as the gentle wind blew your lace curtains further into your bedroom, the birds chirping as the early morning sun slowly rose, cascading a warm glow into your room, making you squint your sore eyes with a soft groan.
With the slow rise of the sun came the constant reminder that you’d spent yet another night without catching a wink of sleep, lying there as you allowed your thoughts to carry you to places you wished didn’t exist.
Places of your ex wife, the bitter taste of your marriage still lingering on your tongue, reminding you of everything that could have been, everything that was lost due to lust.
Places of Ellie, the person who stole your heart first. You think of everything that could have changed had you not gone to the city, how your life's outcome would have had such a great shift due to one tiny change within the line of events that made up who you were, and what you did with your life.
It all leaves the whole in your heart feeling bigger, wider, swallowing up so much of the tiny organ that it almost felt there was nothing left of it.
It had been only a few days since the last time you saw Ellie, and the memories of that night still lingering in you brain, hanging heavily in your mind, stopping you from focusing on anything but that.
Because as much it felt good to kiss her, you haven't even been divorced for a year, and the conflicting feelings that you had for Ellie, paired with the newfound distrust and heartbreak that came from your recent marriage caused a storm in your head, heavy clouds swirling about in the confides of your mind and making it heard to think, hard to breath.
It was all just too fucking hard.
But you knew life was different now. You weren't a teenage girl that could run from confrontations for her own comfort. You were a grown up now, experiencing grown up situations that called for grown up reactions. So you knew that you needed to talk to Ellie, no matter how much it hurt to even think about facing her right now.
You weren’t even entirely sure where to start. Texting her was an absolute no, despite how much easier it would be to confront her that way, behind a screen would do a great job at cushioning the blow that came with confronting Ellie. Calling fell under the same category, she deserved much more than a measly phone call from your end with the intention of patching things up.
Which left only one option. You had to see her in person.
You sighed softly as you sat up in your bed, looking over at your phone resting face down on your bedside table. You hadn’t touched it since that night, avoiding the device all together in fear that you’d see any messages or calls from the worried girl.
So you aren’t surprised when you finally pick it up to see just that. Ellie didn’t pry, there were about three phone calls and four messages, all of which came across far too understanding and supportive for someone that had been kicked out mid make out session a few nights prior.
You inhale deeply before you open up your messages with her, and begin typing.
Hi
I’m sorry I haven’t responded.
Are you busy today? Can we meet up? I feel we need to talk
You practically hold your breath until she responds, which doesn’t take a very long time because the minute you send your first message, she’s read it and already typing out her message back.
Hey, don’t apologize. I was just worried about you
Ofc we can meet. Farmers market is opened today, you wanna check it out?
You don’t even realize it, but her messages are making you smile the second you read them out. Probably because of how easy Ellie makes things, how hard it is to make things awkward with someone as kind as she is.
That sounds great.
I’ll meet you there
Cool :)
Despite the small amount of anxiety that has alleviated when you’re finished texting her, you know this is only the beginning, the easy part of a conversation that will be much harder to have, much harder to explain when you aren’t even sure how to navigate your feelings as it is.
But there was no use in putting it off any further, so you’re quick to get out of bed, brush your teeth, haul on a pair of old blue jeans and an old band t-shirt and make your way out to your car to meet Ellie in town.
It’s almost impossible to have a sour mood in a place as magical as your little town. The moment you got into your car, the warm sun soaking into your skin made you take a deep breath, allowing yourself to clear your head for a second before making your way out into town.
Your mom was right, the sun can cure more than you thought.
You hadn’t even realized it was Sunday, which meant it was your towns tradition to hold the farmers market in the town center. You used to look forward to it so much as a kid, knowing it would bring out the best of the people that lived here, showcasing the talent every person had.
Some people sold clothes that they made by hand, pieces that could only be made with love and care, something you often missed seeing in the city. Others sold jewelry, so delicately crafted it was almost unbelievable that someone was able to create something like it.
But your favorite? Was the food. Different pastries baked by the hands of men and women, recipes passed on from generation to generation to continue to breath life into the traditions that made up your town, tying one another together with a single cake or pie.
It was almost like magic.
You catch yourself smiling as you walk down the strip of stands already getting into their sales. Your heart warms at the sight of familiar faces, aged but still happy. You notice new ones as well, like when you approach a stand you remember being up when you were kid, one of which sold your favorite sweet rolls.
Your attention is far too occupied with chatting up the familiar curly haired girl at the stand, the same one that your visit when you were a teenager, eager to her mothers famous pastures. You’re surprised to see that there’s now a baby on her hip sporting the same head of spiral chocolate brown locks sprouting from her head, giggling and kicking excitedly as you introduce yourself, grabbing the babies hands as you catch your with her mom.
Ellie had arrived not long after you, standing nearby as she smiles fondly at the way the baby quickly becomes enamored with you. Watching you play with kids was something that always made her heart flutter with joy.
You giggle softly as she hands you both pastries, giving her a nod as she begs you to come visit her and the sweet baby more often. You hum softly as you struggle to push both your receipt and your phone back into your purse, groaning softly to yourself as you fail to notice the sudden looming presence that falls over the, gentle hands opening your bag wider as they aid you in putting everything away.
“Here, lemme help you” Ellie breaths out gently, her voice alone making you freeze as your eyes trail to her body to land on her face that was suddenly very close to yours.
She chuckles when she notices you staring up at her with wide eyes, nodding her head down to your bag.
“Come on now, would hate to make you drop those” she hums as she mentions the pastries in your other hand. You blink a few times before you clear your throat, giving a quick nod before you push your things into your bag with her help.
“Fuck…sorry…I…um…” you struggle to speak, adjusting your bag on your shoulders as you watch the girl step back with a soft smile.
“No worries, you alright?” She questions, neck craning down a bit to get a good look at you, her own big green eyes staring into yours, making it hard to breath.
God, this was going to be much harder than you thought.
You inhaled deeply, opening your mouth to speak before closing it, looking down at the sweet rolls in your hand before outstretching your arm to hand one to her.
“I bought this for you…I figured you hadn’t eaten yet so…” you mumble out softly, watching as she stared at you for a moment before looking down at the perfectly packaged baked good in your hand.
Her heart warming at the mere thought of you thinking of her in that way.
She smiles softly before she nods, placing her hand on the small of your back as she began guiding you out of the small strip of stands.
“So sweet of you…c’mon, there’s some places to sit right up this way” she suggests, giving you a small reassuring smile as she leads you there.
Somehow it seems perfect. The sun, the birds chirping, the little shady spot that Ellie leads you over to, covered by the biggest tree with the prettiest flowers slowly drifting down from above. It’s truly something out of a dream….
It made you wish this was all a dream.
You let out a soft sigh as you sit opposite of Ellie on the wooden bench, your fingers toying with the paper the pastry in front of you is wrapped in. Ellie frowns as she watches you closely, knowing the expression far too well. She could see just how much you were in your own head, how the events you two shared prior lingered in your mind, making it hard to focus on anything.
You couldn’t even look at her, and she hated that.
She inhaled deeply before she reached a hand out, gently placing it atop yours.
“I hope you didn’t bring me out here to apologize…because you don’t have to” her words are soft, and sweet, and it makes your throat get tight because she shouldn’t be so kind to you after what you did, after the way you treated her.
You don’t respond, so she takes the opportunity to keep talking.
“I get that things are probably hard…and I shouldn’t even have kissed you that night…so I’m sorry” she tries again, and you scoff softly before shaking your head.
“Don’t…don’t apologize” you mumble out before you inhale deeply, finally looking up, only not at her, at the scenery around you both.
“I caught her in our bed, with some girl she worked with” you mumble out softly, fingers mindlessly running along the rough surface of the wooden table.
“I probably should have seen it coming….but I think I wanted things to work out so badly that I just ignored it” you shrug slightly as you explain before you finally look over at Ellie, who’s already staring intently as she listens to you.
“Ellie I don’t want you to feel sorry for me, or to think that I’m using my divorce as an excuse for what I did, for what happened between us….but I just need you to know that I’m hurting, and it’s just….hard for me to open myself up to something like that again after what happened” your voice breaks as your emotions threaten to give you away, chin wobbling as tears pool in your eyes.
But you don’t let them flow free. You don’t want to cry anymore, not over this.
“I…I just need time….” You silently beg, beg for her to understand what it is you’re going through, what it is you’re experiencing.
It scares you when she doesn’t answer right away, her green eyes scanning your face as she takes it all in. It’s a lot, and you know that, but there’s a tiny part of you that begs for Ellie to do what she does best, which is tell you exactly what you need to hear.
She blinks a few times before giving you a nod, paired with a soft smile. “You don’t even have to ask….you know I’d understand no matter what”
You inhale deeply as you watch her, her gentle eyes, her soft smile telling you that all would be fine. It make your stomach churn because you feel like you don’t deserve it, you feel like she deserves so much more than what you’re giving her.
You two haven’t even addressed what actually happened that night.
There’s nothing more to do than to simply smile back at her. It’s weak, and it isn’t much, but it’s all you can mange right now.
Ellie smiles softly at you before she looks down at the rolls in front of you both. “As good of a baker that Mary Beth is….i think we need some real food” Ellie hums out softly before she swings her leg over the bench to get up, nodding her head towards a small diner nearby.
“Come on. Let’s get something to eat” she suggests, holding her hand out for yours.
She notices the way your eyes linger on her calloused hand, unsure of whether or not you should take it, unsure of what signals it would send if you did.
You were unsure of everything. Unsure of Ellie, yourself, your own feelings. Nothing felt solid enough to trust, and you hated that someone like Ellie could make you feel that way, even though you knew that it wasn’t her that was making you feel that way, but rather what happened to you instead.
She can see it, she can see right through you and for a moment her frown mimics yours before she it turns into a soft smile.
“As friends” she affirms gently.
She sees a flash of something ripple through your eyes at this when you finally look up at her, something she doesn’t want to read too much into, something that she knows she can’t dive into for your own comfort, and perhaps even hers too.
A moment passes before you crack a weak smile, placing your hand into hers before you nod. “Yeah…as friends” you manage to make out weakly before grabbing the things off the table, shoving them into your bag and leaning into Ellie’s warmth as she guides you to the diner.
Ignoring the bitter taste left on your tongue at the way Ellie assured you that she was your friend, and nothing more.
Your mind was in absolute shambles.
It had been a few weeks since the farmers market with Ellie, and truthfully all had been well between the two of you. You both ate together, talked, laughed, you were even able to talk about your divorce, explaining to Ellie how you felt, what it had done to you, and she listened to it all, nodding along to your words, giving you the advice you didn’t want to hear, but very much needed. For a moment it was easy to forget all about the tension that had settled between you both, the thoughts that plagued you were finally silenced as you allowed yourself to just simply be.
That was until you got home.
The second you were in your bedroom, lying there, staring up at the ceiling, memories of that night began to flood into your mind. You could feel it all so clearly, Ellie’s hands on your body, her lips pressed against your mouth, gasping for air, her tongue sliding against your own. Her words echoed throughout your mind, desperate pants and moans of how she needed you, of how you needed her.
You couldn’t sleep a wink.
It felt as though you hadn’t even talked to her, as if things hadn’t glossed over to where they were okay, a point where things were fine between you both. They were, but the feelings you had were still there. You thought that if you had at least talked to Ellie, explained to her what you were feeling, it would give you a head start on where to go with sorting out your own feelings.
None of that ever came.
Your body yearned for a moment of peace from the issues at hand, you wanted to feel the same way you felt when you were sat at the diner with Ellie, her laugh and her sparkling smile distracting you from the things you were feeling.
But you knew you couldn’t turn to her for a distraction, you couldn’t use her to occupy your mind from facing things that you’d much rather ignore. That wasn’t fair to her and it would only hurt you further in the long run, lengthen the grieving process of the death of your marriage.
You couldn’t do that to Ellie.
You could however, go somewhere that you knew would clear your mind the moment you were there.
The low hum of your car engine shuts off as you pull up to the familiar clearing, a gentle smile on your face as you can already hear the gentle stream of the water the moment you’re stepping out of the car.
The old creek was one everyone in your town treasured, a tiny glimpse of paradise in the confides of your backyard. It was where all the seniors would go for senior skip day, and where families would visit to spend the day with their children. If there was any place that the people of your town would be during the summertime, it would be the creek.
And rightfully so, the waters sparkled like nothing you’d ever seen before, the shady trees hiding the spot away like a secret that belonged to you and only you. You had many fond memories of the place, ones with your family, your siblings, your old friends from school.
Ellie.
You and her would visit the spot any chance you got, diving into the cold water the moment you were there. You could recall the moment you two first found out, thinking it was a secret only you two shared, just to find out your parents had been visiting when they were your age as well.
Regardless of the fact that it didn’t belong to you two, it felt like it. A small piece of the world that you and Ellie could call your own, sharing secrets there with one another, Ellie pushing you off the old swing tied up to one of the trees before she swung in soon after, diving in and holding you close to her chest as she promised you’d be together forever, for as long as you both lived.
The intensity that you both shared as teenagers often made you laugh. What a silly thing for two teenage girls to say who have barely experienced the world out there.
You let out a gentle sigh as you rugged off your denim shorts after setting your spot up. A small blanket settled down with your bag, your old camera and a few books, clearly having every intention of staying the entire day, swimming to your hearts content.
Once you’re stripped of your clothes, your body only clad in your old bathing suit, you waste no time in making your way down to the water, shivering slightly once your toes hit the cold water, wiggling them in the process.
You’re convinced swimming in the small body of water has to have some sort of mystical healing properties, because the moment you’re diving your head under, eyes examining the aquamarine world that is below the surface, your mind is clear. It makes you feel like you could live there, swimming amongst the different underwater caverns and the fish, creating a whole new world below as the little mermaid you always dreamed to be.
Your mother always told you she thought she’d given birth to a little fish when your father first took you swimming.
It’s so easy to lose track of time when you’re like this, floating around in the water, letting its coldness wrap you up and swallow you whole. It’s almost comforting how quiet it is, the only sounds being the gentle stream of the water, the wind rustling against the tree leaves and the frequent sound of the birds chirping to let you know that you weren’t alone, letting you know they were there with you.
You don’t even realize it but you’ve spent hours swimming about in the small pond, the grumbling in your stomach finally stops you for a moment to actually think about anything other than swimming, forcing you out to lay out onto your blanket and dry in the sun, occasionally popping the sweet berries into your mouth you’d brought from home.
The book you’ve brought with you also silences the outside world, allowing you to flip from page to page without thinking of anything but the regal characters that seemingly had much more to worry about than you. What a world it would be to wear uncomfortable dresses and attend balls in the hopes you’d find the perfect husband.
What would they think of your divorce?
It makes you snort to yourself, a gentle hum leaving your lips as you flip another page, unaware of the sudden sound of feet crunching against the grass slowly approaching you.
The high pitched sound of your name being called rips your attention away from your book, furrowing your eyebrows a bit as you cup your hand above your eyes to shield from the sun, trying to get a good look at who it was that was disturbing your peace.
“I didn’t think I’d be seein’ you here! What a surprise!” Lilac chirps out, her curly hair tied up into a perfectly styled bun, tight coils framing her face as she clutches her towel to her chest.
You hadn’t seen her since the night Ellie took you out to the Copper Cat a few weeks ago, the girl not lingering on your mind much as you had much bigger fish to fry. You were honestly a bit shocked that she’d even remembered your name.
You give her a gentle smile as you sit up, your legs folding to cross one another as you give her a small smile.
“Good to see you Lilac….going for a swim?” You ask her, watching as the girl takes the spot right next to yours, her blanket fitting perfectly up against your own as she gives you a confident nod.
“Mhm! It’s too hot…bless Ellie’s heart for sharin’ this place with me. Don’t know what I’d do without it” she chirps out as she tugs her own denim shorts off, leaning her in the cutest little bikini.
You know she doesn’t mean it in the way that it sounds, bragging about being introduced to the small clearing by your ex girlfriend, and you knew that it was only in due time that this place was mentioned to her by someone in your town, making sense that Ellie would do it first since that’s just the kind of girl Ellie was.
But there’s just something that tugs at your heart at the thought of it all. Ellie mentioning this place to her, the two of them coming down together, alone, Lilac adorned in another one of those adorable bikinis she had to show off to Ellie her gorgeous body as they play in the water together.
Something about Ellie sharing the spot you two shared with someone else that just rubbed you the wrong way.
You inhale deeply, trying to calm your nerves as you remember that this girl owes you nothing, Ellie owes you nothing and Lilac has been nothing but kind to you from the moment she met you.
Giving her a gentle smile as she settles down next to you, you nod. “It’s pretty great out here…I’m surprised it isn’t so packed. Seems we got lucky” you give her a nod before you sigh, turning your attention back to your book.
She smiles fondly as she watches you turn your attention back to your book, her neck craning down a bit to get a good look at the cover, gasping softly once she realized what it was you were reading.
“You read those too? I love them! I just finished the first two” she beams, a soft hum leaving your lips as you look up at the girl, raising your eyebrows at her comment.
“Really? Most people think they’re super corny” you pout softly as you turn the book over to look at the cliche cover, which only earns a firm head shake from Lilac.
“Honey I’m a hopeless romantic, I daydream more than I actually try talking to people” she giggles out softly, giving you a gentle shrug.
Her words make you chuckle softly, gently closing your book as you toss it to the side before sitting up to mirror her posture, crossing your legs as you suddenly give her your full attention.
“You’re a hopeless romantic? But…Lilac you’re gorgeous. I wouldn’t be shocked if you have every single guy here desperate to get a chance with you” you confess, which only makes her shake her head as she gives you a shy smile, gently shoving your knee.
“Don’t you dare! I’m awful at talking to people” she pouts out, her eyes dropping from her own as she stares down at the flowers on her blanket, delicate fingers tracing the patterns gently as she lets out a gentle sigh.
“If I’m being honest…it’s not the guys here that I want…” her words trail off softly, and it makes you pout softly as you eye the girl, seeing how whatever is on her mind is clearly bothering her, plaguing the girl just as much as what was on your mind.
You open your mouth to ask her about it, feeling bad about whatever she was going through, but she’s quick to shake her head and put on a bright smile once she looks back into your eyes. “But let’s not get into that! M’glad you’re here to join me today” she breaths out, her voice sweet and genuine as her eyes soften.
And it makes your heart rate finally slow down, seeing just how genuine the girl seemed, how happy she was to be there with you regardless of the fact that you were as good as a stranger to her than anything more.
You smile softly as you nod, leaning forward and placing your hand on hers, giving a gentle squeeze. “Don’t mention it, Lilac” you hum out softly.
If there was anything you didn’t expect to do today, it was to have made a new friend, especially one in Lilac. The two of you spent the entire day down at the creek, laughing together, swimming together. The more time you spent with her, the more you realized just how much in common the both of you had.
Being completely honest with yourself, she had more kindness in her pinky than anyone in the city ever did.
The sun has set, and the breeze blew against your warm skin as you leaned against your car, Lilac in front of you as she made yet another joke that had you throwing your head back as you let out a loud laugh.
“Stop I feel the same way! I always wondered what happened to him” you gasp out, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear as you lean back to shove your back into the passenger seat of your car. Lilac giggles softly as she nods, her arms crossed over her chest as she swatted away the mosquitos slowly began to swarm around you both.
“He’s still an idiot, some people never change I fear” she groaned out, a prominent pout on her perfect lips before she cocked her head to the side, smiling fondly at you.
“Ellie was right about you, you know? You really are somethin’ special” she breaths out, and it has your eyes going wide at the mention of the girl. It makes you realize that you hadn’t thought about her all day, not since Lilac had joined you.
It makes you wonder what other things Ellie had said about you.
You whine softly as you bring your hand forward to nudge her playfully. “Shut up….you’ll blow my head up” you warn the girl playfully before you sigh softly, looking over at the sun that was slowly bur surly setting, the once warm glow that casted onto you both disappearing.
“Ahh I should get going…we shouldn’t be on the roads too late” you breath out softly, turning towards the girl and giving her a small smile, only to see a sad one on her face.
You frown softly as you watch her, leaning forward and giving her hand a gentle squeeze. “Hey? You okay?” You ask gently, suddenly worried about the girls shift in her mood.
She lets out a gentle sigh before she looks down at her feet, kicking around the gravel below before she lets out a soft hum. “I know we don’t know each other well…but…I feel like you’ll be my only help with this” she admits to you, her eyes still casted downwards before you assure her with a soft voice. “Of course you can..” you mumble out softly.
She finally looks up at you, taking a deep inhale before she gives you a half smile. “I…think I like Ellie” she breaths out, as if she’d been keeping it held in for so long, as if finally telling you was letting a weight off of her shoulders.
Letting it off of hers and slamming it down onto yours.
You find it hard to breathe, because suddenly you’re shot back to the first night you met Lilac at the Copper Cat. Ellie’s hand on her waist, hers on Ellie’s arm as she whispers in her ear, the two of them matching one another far more than you felt you could’ve ever matched Ellie. You feel threatened, and it sets a fire off in your chest, and you feel like the world is crumbling around you as this beautiful girl admits her innocent feelings for your ex girlfriend.
When you don’t speak, she continues.
“And I just…you and her are so close, so I was hoping maybe you could give me some advice? Should I go for it? Do you…think she’d like me back?” She asks hopefully, twiddling with her fingers nervously as she watches you closely, awaiting your response.
You stare are her blankly, your body working on autopilot as you try to work your way through this. Seeing her that night felt like it might’ve all been in your head, especially when Ellie ran out after you and left the moment you were ready, but now this is all real. This is Lilac confirming that what you felt was real, and this was the reality of coming back to your hometown, more specifically your ex girlfriend.
And as you stand there, trying to figure out what the hell to say to this girl, you can only see someone doing the same thing that you’re doing. She’s a young girl, looking for love in this crazy fucked up world, and she’s unsure of herself. Someone as beautiful as her is unsure of herself and you could only wish that someone would have guided you when you were pursuing your ex wife, a third party bystander giving their advice and helping you through it all.
Because as much as it kills you? Ellie deserves love, and so does Lilac, and if they find it in one another, who the hell are you to take that away from them.
The both of them owe you nothing.
You inhale deeply before giving her a soft smile, nodding as you reach out to give her arm a gentle, assuring squeeze. “I think Ellie would be thrilled to be with someone like you, Lilac….you should go for it” you breath out genuinely, watching as the girls face lights up with joy with your confirmation, an excited squeal leaving her lips.
“I was hoping you’d say that! You’re an angel” she squeals, reaching forward and grabbing you up into her arms as she gives you a tight hug, swaying back and forth as she tucks her chin into your shoulder.
You can practically feel the happiness radiating off of her.
You smile softly as you nod, wrapping your hands around her as you hug her back before you hum. “You didn’t need me…you’ll be great on your own” you assure her before you pull away, giving her a reassuring nod.
She smiles brightly as she nods before she lets out a loud sigh. “Right…get home safe, alright? And text me! We can hang out sometime this week” she sings out as she gets into her car, giving you a wave as she begins pulling off.
And suddenly you’re left there all alone, with the newfound thoughts that are swirling about in your head. You know already that you won’t be able to sleep, not with the mental image of the two of them dancing around in your mind, forcing you to face reality, face the facts that time moves on with or without you.
But you were tired of being left behind, you were tired of being the last one to know things, the one broken heart in a sea of mended ones.
Driving off in your car from the creek gives you time to think, the cool breeze kissing your skin, pushing your hair back as the radio plays your favorite songs, creating somewhat of a perfect scenario to think things over rather than running from them.
While it all hurts, you know that there’s no use in standing in the way of Lilac or Ellie or whoever for that matter. Life would continue moving, and in that meant new love would be found, for both you and Ellie, it just felt like that wouldn’t happen for you in the moment, even if you knew it would.
But you were going to move on from this. And you were going to be fine, no matter how long it took for you to catch up with the tracks of life that seemingly always got the best of you.
There’s something therapeutic about hanging up the laundry on the old clothes line in your backyard.
You used to make fun of your mom all the time when she did it, telling her that there was a perfectly good dryer inside that would take less than half the time to dry the clothes than they did outside, not to mention less work when it came to picking them in.
However as you’ve grown older, there’s something so simple about walking outside with your basket on your hip, the gentle smell of detergent blowing into your direction as you pin up several articles of clothing, your white sheets, anything that you’ve washed, that tickles your brain in the best ways.
That, and the fact that these days you’ll take any task to fill your brain with thoughts other than Ellie or your ex wife.
Things had been fine. You spoke to Ellie here and there, dropped dinner off at Joel’s house that you knew he made sure she got some of whenever you made extra, you even made time for Lilac within the week as well. You’d picked up a small job in town as well, working at the cashier of a small floral shop that had been in town from you could remember.
So although your mind drifted to places you didn’t often like, life was fine. Life was slow, and life was good.
Lilac constantly gushed to you about Ellie, talking about all the progress they’d been making, asking your opinion on the girls behavior, which you always tried your best to help with. Although the strange thing about it all, was you heard nothing from Ellie about the situation. She didn’t mention anything about Lilac, not even when you brought it up.
It wasn’t long until you began distancing yourself from the both of them, knowing how hard it would be once they became official and you had to live life in a world where they were together.
Because although you were doing okay, the wound was still fresh, and you had to keep your peace.
You hummed a gentle tune softly as you continued hanging up your linen on the line, enjoying the feeling of the cool summer breeze against your skin, the dandelions dancing along through the air as they became loose from their stems.
The sound of your fence creaking open cuts right into your thoughts of housework, forcing you to turn around as you hang up another one of your sleep shirts, a soft smile on your lips when you catch sight of the familiar tall brunette walking into your backyard, both her hands shoved into the pockets of her denim jeans.
“Ellie…didn’t think you were coming over” you sigh out softly as you clip the end of your shirt up, continuing to hang up your clothes regardless of her being there.
“Was in the neighborhood….I thought I’d stop by” she breaths out, eyes taking in your form as you continue with your chore.
Her voice seems like something is bothering her, and you catch onto it the second she utters her first syllable. You know already why she’s here, to question you about your sudden absence, wondering if things were okay with you or not, worry clear in her tone.
“You…haven’t been around lately” she mumbles out, that same worried tone laced throughout her words.
It was just as you suspected.
You frown, thanking the task of laundry that hides your expression from her. It’s so much easier to lie to Ellie whenever you’re not looking into her eyes.
“Oh…I’ve just been uh…dealing with some stuff” you’re quick with the excuse, clearing your throat before you turn around to give her a soft smile. “I’m fine…honest” you give her your best attempt at a reassuring nod before you turn back to your laundry.
You have to turn away from her quickly, because you can see from the small glimpses you get of her that she’s frowning, and her brows are furrowed together with something that’s bothering her.
You hope she’ll leave after you tell her you’re fine.
But she doesn’t. You don’t hear her respond to your words, or even turn around silently to go about her day. You hear nothing behind you, only the sound of your white sheets wafting through the wind, drying on the line before you.
You frown when you look down to see your basket is empty, and the task of pinning up your clothes is no longer present to hide you away from Ellie.
So you need to get rid of her.
You inhale deeply, picking up the old basket and placing it on your hip, putting your most believable smile on your face before turning around, finally locking eyes onto the girl to see something that makes your heart sink.
It looks like she hasn’t slept, prominent bags under her pretty eyes, pouty pink lips chapped, most likely picked and bit at out of anxiety, a bad habit you knew she had whenever something was bothering her. Your heart tugs at the image, wanting nothing more than to pull the girl down into a hug, consoling her and telling her that whatever was bothering her, would be fine.
But you can’t. Because things aren’t the same anymore.
You inhale deeply before you nod your head towards your back door. “Well…I have lots to do inside…more house work…dinner” you explain, trying your best to hint at Ellie leaving without having to say so.
“Did I do something wrong?” She finally makes out, her words a clear plea to understand the situation rather than a half mumble that she’d rather not say.
It makes you furrow your eyebrows, watching the girl with a confused look as you try to understand her.
“Wrong? Ellie…I’ve barely seen you. What could you have possibly done wrong?” You try, confused of the sudden outburst from the girl.
Her eyes are stormy, hazy and hard to read. Her brows are knit as she looks down at the floor before looking back into your eyes, a prominent frown on her face.
“Why would you tell Lilac that there’s something worth looking for between her and I…why would you…” her words trail off, as if she wants to say more, as if she wants to persist with knowing why you would have done such a thing.
And soon it all starts making sense.
You wish Lilac wouldn’t have said anything. You wish she wouldn’t have told Ellie that you were the one that told her to go for it, even if she was the one that asked in the first place. You wish she would have just pursued Ellie without any mention of you, because was that even necessary? You know she must have done it to gush about you even further, the girl becoming enamored with you from the moment she saw you, and even more so once you two became closer.
But for the love of god…did she really have to tell Ellie that you were the one to tell her to go for it?
You open your mouth to speak before you sigh softly, your hands squeezing the handles of your clothes basket before you speak. “I….she spent the day down at the creek with me and when we were about to leave she told me she liked you…and she asked me if I thought she should pursue you” you explain with a shrug of your shoulders, which only makes Ellie scoff in disbelief.
“And you told her that was a good idea?” She argues back, as if it were the dumbest thing you could have ever done. She says it as if it were common knowledge to tell the girl other wise, you raise your eyebrows when she says this.
“Yeah? Why not? Lilac is…she’s fucking gorgeous Ellie. Anyone would be lucky to have her, and you should be happy I put you on with someone as great as her” you mumble out as you slip past the girl, clearly done with Ellie and this conversation as you walked up the wooden steps leading to your back door.
But Ellie isn’t finished with you, because she’s quick to follow behind, closing the door behind you as you make your way into your laundry room to set your basket down, your hands going to your hips once you turn around to see the girls built figure standing in your doorway.
“Ellie come on…I have things to do…you need to go” you huff out as you slip past her once again, going off into your living room to start on the dried laundry that needed to be folded, hoping that the girl would simply drop it and leave.
“You know I understood you the night after the show, and I was more than willing to give you all of the space you need, but this feels like you’re playing some sick joke on me” she’s standing over you now, watching as you try to ignore her in favor of some pillow cases that needed folding.
“Is pushing me into the arms of someone else your solution? And ignoring me until I’ve forgotten all about it? Is that the plan? Is that seriously what you think it’ll take to get rid of me?” She tries again, her voice pleading with you at this point as she watches you ignore her.
But this time you done, your hands drop to your lap as you stare up at her in disbelief before you toss the pillow case to the side, standing up opposite of her.
“I never had a plan! Lilac asked me a question and I was honest with her. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t be happy with someone else” you explain to her before you finally feel as though you’ve had enough, a huff of annoyance filling the silent air as you round the couch to slip away into the kitchen.
Before you’re fully there, Ellie’s voice is echoing off the walls.
“But I can’t be happy with someone else!” She shouts out, her arms flailing up inti the air before dropping down to her side, the sound of her palms slapping against her jeans before she sighs.
You stop dead in your tracks when you hear that one, your back still turned to her.
“How could I possibly be happy with anyone else when you’re all I fucking think about….” Her voice is tired, and it’s almost as if she’s begging you for something, something you are not capable of, something you cannot give.
Begging for you.
“From moment we had our first kiss….to the moment I said goodbye to you before you left for the city…I’ve only ever wanted you” you can hear her getting closer, slowly making her way towards you as you stand there at the edge of your kitchen, frozen, silent, unable to say anything to her as she confesses these things to you.
“It’s pathetic, and I’ve tried to suck it up for your sake because I know….you’re going through a tough time after that moron did what she did….but I can’t fucking hide anymore” she breaths out, and it sounds the same exact way that Lilac sounded when she admitted to you that she had feelings for Ellie those nights ago.
Your back is still turned to her, and you know she’s right behind you because her smell fills up your lungs and makes your eyes roll to the back of your head as you try to fight all of it back, everything that you’ve done, all that you’ve worked through from the moment you got home to get to the point that you were at currently.
But you feel all of it break the moment Ellie’s strong hand grips your shoulder gently, sighing softly as she speaks.
“Look at me….please angel…” she begs, her skin wafting onto your neck as she tries her best to fight the urge to grab you right then and there and kiss you.
When you finally turn around, her heart breaks, because the whites of your eyes are red, and there are heavy tears pooling at the edge of your eyes, making them sparkle in the warm light of your kitchen, looking so beautiful yet so tragic all in the same time.
Her chest tightens as she leans in to cup your cheek, fighting back the urge to groan as she inhales deeply. “I can’t…I don’t wanna pretend like I’m not still in love-“ you’re quick to cut her off, your tears spilling out onto her cheeks the moment you hear the word.
“Don’t…don’t say it” you warn her with shaky words, struggling to even speak with the burning sensation in your throat.
You don’t think you could handle it, hearing those words fall from someone’s lips again, the fear rising the moment they hang from Ellie’s, flashbacks of you’re wife at the alter, promising you everything and more before she kissed you and whispered in your ear that she loved you.
It’s scary, and it makes you feel terrified of Ellie.
Before she can carry on even further, trying her best to convince you that her words are true, silently begging you to hear her out as her wide green eyes stare down into yours, you’re cutting her off.
“I told you already Ellie…I’m not….i can’t do this again. I can’t give myself to someone like I did with her” your voice trembles as you explain, her vision blurring with tears as you try your best to swallow them all back.
She licks her lips as she stares down at you before she shakes her head. “I get it….I get that you’re hurting from what happened, but I can’t keep going on without you knowing anymore….” She starts to explain, both of her hands coming up to cup either side of your face, forcing you to look up at her.
“I’ve….god I’ve longed for you from the moment you left after high school. There was not a day that went by where I did not think of you for even a few seconds. And I’m sorry for what happened, and I understand if I’m just a childhood fling for you, but I’d rather you tell me that then try to push someone else onto me to distract me from what I’ve felt all these years” she rambles on, nearly stumbling over her words as they all bubble up to the surface, overflowing and dragging you down with her.
You open your mouth for a moment before closing it, looking far too similar to a fish out of water as you try to find the words to say. What are you even supposed to say? Are you supposed to lie to her? Tell her that you haven’t felt the same way? But now it’s different and it hurts to even try to envision yourself in a relationship with someone let alone pursue them? Even when it’s Ellie?
Your Ellie?
She watches as you struggle to speak, her eyes searching yours for even a sliver of hope that this will work, that her confession will bring you to a point where you can both meet, where things can be okay again.
And if they can’t? She needs to hear you say it out loud.
“Tell me you don’t feel the same” she deadpans, hands dropping from your face as any hope she might have had slowly drains out, fizzling out of her system as she watches you simply stare up at her, a mere shell of the girl she once knew.
“Tell me you don’t love me, and I’ll never bring this up again. We can move on from this and we can be friends. I promise” she breaths out, feeling the air slowly leaving her lungs, making it hard to breathe.
You feel the exact same way. You feel like the world has stopped around you both as images of your life swirls around your head.
There’s images of your ex wife, taking the privilege of love from you, ripping your heart out of your chest and walking away with it the moment she decided to cheat on you. It hurts, and it burns and it feels like something you’ll never recover from, something that leaves a wound so deep, that it will never grow the familiar leathery skin that it’s supposed to, creating a scar that acts as merely a memory for what happened, for what you endured.
And then there’s something sweeter in the corner, so small that if you pay enough attention to the hurt in your heart, you don’t even notice it.
It’s memories of Ellie. Sharing your first kiss with her, going to prom with her, spending late nights with her in your bedroom talking about the future, spending time with one another that will leave sweet memories in your mind till the day you die. It’s soft, and it’s easy and it makes your insides flutter with excitement at the mere thought of her by your side.
As you’re looking over all these parts of you, standing in your kitchen with Ellie and staring up into her eyes, you make a remarkable discovery.
You realize that if you try hard enough, the pain that comes from what your ex wife did doesn’t hurt as bad, long as you’re focusing on the feeling that Ellie gives you.
Because when you’re with Ellie, you feel nothing but love.
You lick your own lips as you stare up at her, inhaling deeply before you shake your head, feeling your throat burn with tears before you speak.
“I can’t do that….” Your words trail off for a moment before your eyes drift down to her strong hands, missing the feeling of her skin pressed against yours.
You slowly reach forward to take her tattooed hand into yours, your fingers dancing along the intricate details of the leaves on her wrist before you interlock your fingers, finally looking up at her as your eyes well up with tears for what felt like the hundredth time that day.
“Because I….feel the same way” you breath out, watching as her sage colored eyes glimmer with happiness, a gentle sigh of relief leaving her lips as she quickly moves her hand to cup your face, her other reaching down to hold onto your waist, pulling you close to her body.
“Jesus…c’mere” she practically moans out before she smashes her lips against yours in a passionate, love filled kiss.
You giggle softly, your hands wrapping around her wrist as you waste no time in kissing her back, arms coming up to loosely wrap around her neck as you press your chest against hers, reveling in the feeling of her lips pressed against your own.
You hummed a gentle tune to yourself as you mixed up the pitcher of lemonade, far too deep in thought to pay the bustling party behind you any mind.
One of your favorite parts about the summer time was the cookouts. There was something about nearly the entire town coming together at someone’s house, enjoying the warm weather, the bright sun and good food, that made your heart burst with excitement.
You were just about ready to make your way to your backyard with the others, when you felt a firm hand sliding against your waist, smoothing down over the fabric of your flower sun dress and pulling you into their chest.
“Don’t you think we have enough drinks baby?” Ellie hums out softly, pressing her lips against the base of your neck, making you giggle softly as you lean into her.
“It’s almost 100 degrees outside, Ellie…I don’t think too many things to drink is even a possibility” you explain before you turn around in her arms, smiling softly at the firm as you wrap your arms around her neck, leaning in to press a kiss to the corner of her lips.
“Aren’t you supposed to be on the grill? You better not burn all that food I bought” you playfully pinch her shoulder, which only makes her groan softly.
“It’s too hotttt….wanna be inside with you” she whines out, resting her head against your shoulder as she gently sways with you in the kitchen.
You hum as you nod, your fingers toying with the short hair at the nape of her neck. “I know baby….but your father will be very upset if he doesn’t have at least one beer with you…come on pretty girl” you hum out to her softly, your hands sliding down to hold her around her middle before giving her a gentle pinch near her ribs, which makes her yelp out as she pulls away, a prominent pout on her sun burnt, freckled face.
“Fine…but come out with me” she huffs out, leaning in to give your forehead a kiss before she makes her way outside, making you giggle softly.
You sigh softly to yourself, placing the lemonade on a small tray paired with some already filled red solo cups, and a few empty ones on the side that you knew would be getting filled up shortly after you brought them out. You had to move slowly with how full they were, groaning softly to yourself as you tried your best to not let them fall as you tried making your way through the crowd of people in your home.
“Oh honey let me help you with that!” You hear Lilac chirp out as she quickly comes behind you, pressing her hands against your waist before taking the heavy pitcher off of the tray, making you sigh in relief once you saw the girl.
“There you are! I was starting to think you wouldn’t show…” you pout out, smiling softly as the girl leaned in to press a friendly kiss to your cheek, which you were quick to lean into as well.
She giggled softly as she groaned. “Did you know that this party of yours is causin’ traffic out there?? Everyone’s dying to come, I almost ran out with the rollers still in my hair” she explains, making you giggle softly as she opened up your back door for you.
After everything happened with you and Ellie, you were terrified of what would happen with Lilac. You felt like you’d robbed the girl of something she wanted without even trying, even after being the one to tell her to go for it! Even after Ellie assured you time and time again that Lilac was always one to get innocent crushes on everyone, and that she’d get over it in no time, you were still scared that you’d lose the girl as a friend after just making her one.
You were quickly proven wrong when you met her in town a few days after, texting her and letting her know you had something to tell her. Instead of her being upset about you and Ellie, Lilac was thrilled. She grabbed you and hugged you, and told you that she even wanted to celebrate with you and Ellie, explaining that her crush was as innocent as could be.
And before you could even realize, Lilac had become your best friend.
You giggle softly as the children practically jumped you once they saw the tall pitcher of ice cold lemonade, frantically grabbing the cups and chugging them down before running off to play in the sun.
Catching sight of Ellie with her father and a few of her coworkers makes your heart flutter, and you decide to fill up a few more cups of the cold drink as you make your way over to them, a soft smile on your face.
“Lemonade anyone?” You chirp out softly, all of them taking them gladly before Ellie slung her arm around your waist, pulling you into her side as she pressed a kiss to the side of your head, carrying on with her conversation.
You don’t miss the way Joel smiles fondly at the two of you over the edge of his cup.
And later that night, when everyone’s left and the house is cleaned up, you lay with Ellie in your bed, the cool breeze blowing in through your windows, your bedroom illuminated by the white light of the moon.
You’re tucked away into Ellie’s side, your thigh hooked over her body, one of her hands rubbing along your skin and massaging your leg, the other looped around your shoulder as you stare up at her lovingly, your hand dancing along her t shirt clad chest.
“Did you have fun today?” You question softly, which earns a gentle smile from the girl before she looks down at you, giving you a slight nod.
“The best time baby….haven’t seen so many people gathered around for a party in a long time…you did good angel” she breaths out before she leans down, pressing a soft kiss to your cheek, which makes you smile warmly.
But the warmth doesn’t just settle in your cheeks.
A simple kiss from your girlfriend makes it travel down your body. It warms your throat, your chest, your stomach, traveling all the way down until it settles right in between your legs, making you clear your throat to bite back a whimper.
Ellie frowns softly when she notices this, pulling away to look down at you as she continues massaging your thigh. “Something wrong princess?” She questions, slight concern lacing her tone as she watches you with furrowed brows, her expression clear in the light of the moon.
When you and Ellie first started being romantic again, she promised you she’d take things slow. Your relationship only went far as kissing, a few gropes here and there, but nothing further than a steamy make out session that ended once Ellie tapped your thighs and forced you off of her lap, fearing that she was pushing you too far.
At first it was extremely considerate of her. It was true, intimacy was a bit hard for you at first, somehow thinking of your failed relationship every time you tried, blaming your self for not pleasing your wife enough.
But as time went on, those thoughts were virtually silenced. You didn’t even have the capacity to think of anything but Ellie when her tongue was down your throat, the feeling of her big hands on your body, and her toned thighs pressed between your legs.
So now…God…you needed her more than anything.
You were almost embarrassed to even say it, but it was getting to a point that anything Ellie did was setting you into a frenzy. Just today, her toned arms in here wife pleaser and her denim jeans made your head spin, and your panties cling to your needy core.
Her frown deepened when you didn’t answer, the girl turning over a bit to better face you before her hand came up to cup your cheek. “Baby? What’s the matter?” She questions once again.
You finally let out a soft sigh, eyes fluttering shut as you reach up to grab her wrist gently, keeping her close as you avoid looking into her eyes.
“I….need you Ellie…need you so bad” you sigh out softly, voice barely above a whisper.
Her frown only deepens further as she stares at you down in confusion. “Need me? But angel I’m right-“ her words are cut off when she feels your grip on her wrist tighten, and your thigh hikes up her body further, pressing your core against her side.
Her eyes widen in realization.
“Fuck…” she breaths out, watches as your eyes flutter open to stare into her own, yours filled with want and need as your other hand moves down to hold onto her exposed hip gently.
“Are you sure baby? We can…fuck…we don’t have to…” she struggles to get out, eyes glued to yours as she watches you.
You shake your head before you gently pry her hand from your face, bringing her fingers down to press against your lips before you sigh. “I’ve thought about you every day since I’ve left Ellie…of course I’m sure…” you sigh out softly before you open your mouth, taking her pointer and middle finger into your mouth as you slowly suck them in, moaning around them.
Ellie lets out a soft moan as she watches you, feeling her own clit pulse against her underwear as she quickly grows warm with a need similar to yours.
“That’s my girl…fuck….been needy huh?” She moans out, making you nod before you roll over to straddle her, her other hand coming down to grip your hip softly, massaging your skin through the fabric of her own t shirt draped over your body.
You let go of her fingers with a pop before you stare down at her, a soft smile on your face as you move down to press your lips against hers, wasting no time in pushing your tongue into her mouth.
The kiss is slow, and sensual and dirty and it’s everything you’ve wanted and needed since your divorce. It’s nothing like kissing your ex wife, but it’s everything like kissing Ellie. The noises she makes has your head spinning, and it forces you to roll your hips down onto her, which makes her moan even louder into your mouth.
“Fuck…want you to…wanna feel your pussy on mine baby…can you do that for me?” She questions out desperately, her hands roaming your body, pushing her t shirt up on your to reveal your tits.
Ellie had it all planned out. She wanted it to be romantic, she wanted to take things slow and show you just how much she loved you, just how serious she was about you. She wanted you to feel loved.
Oh did her plans not go as planned, but oh how you felt so fucking loved.
You nod eagerly, sitting up and tugging the t shirt off, tossing it somewhere in your room. Ellie moans loudly at the sight of you above her, hands reaching up and cupping either one of your boobs, pinching and rolling your nipples between her fingers.
Once she’s had her fun, you climb off of her for a moment, tugging off her panties, giving her time to tug her sleep shorts off as well, leaving you naked and her bottom half bare. She’s feverishly tugging you back onto her lap, allowing you to tug her t shirt off.
And the feeling of your bare chest pressed against hers makes you moan loudly, your lips coming down again to press a needy kiss to hers, filled with tongue and teeth as you both situate yourselves.
The moment comes quickly, your legs slotted between hers perfectly, pussy right on top of hers as she stares up at you with low, hazy eyes, strong hands gripping your thighs and your ass as you slowly began rolling your hips so that your throbbing clit bumps against hers, making the girl beneath you moan loudly as her back arches and her eyes flutter shut.
“F-fuck! Oh my….fuuuuckkkk…that’s it baby…fuck yourself down onto my pussy…oh my….ha-fuck” she moans out, voice going hoarse as her strong fingers press firmly into your skin, sure to leave marks in the morning.
Your moans mix with hers, paired with the sound of your sopping wet pussies sliding against one another, a symphony of erotic love making that has been a long time coming. It’s like the two of you let out every raw emotion that had been bottled up for all those years you spent apart, her longing, your hurt, it all mixes together to create something of a beautiful love song that belongs to the two of you, and no one else.
“Ellieee…fuck! Feels…feels so good..” you moan out, picking up the pace as you feel your orgasm growing closer and closer by the second, your bed creaking with every thrust of your hips.
Ellie can’t take it anymore, moving to sit up as she grips both of your hips, aiding you in riding her pussy faster before she gives you an encouraging nod. “Come on baby…cum with me, yeah?” She sighs out breathlessly, staring up into your eyes passionately as she feels her own orgasm growing closer.
You wrap your arms around her shoulders, keeping her closer as you moan and whine, eyebrows furrowing with pleasure as you struggle to make it there, struggle to not let the pleasure get the best of you.
Your heart feels like it’ll just burst.
“I…mmm…fuck….Ellie I love you…I love you so much…” you moan out, eyes fluttering shut as you feel right on the brink of your orgasm.
“That’s my fucking girl…I love you so much baby…more than you’ll ever know…” she moans out to you.
And suddenly, you see colors.
Your chest feels like you’ve been struck by lightening, struggling to even stay upright as your orgasm ripples through your body violently, your forehead resting against Ellie’s as your arousal mixes with hers, both of your orgasms so intense, so powerful, it feels like it’ll kill you both right then and there.
The come down is hard, because it’s almost sorrowful to no longer feel the amazing feeling that comes with making love to Ellie, but the feeling of her strong arms wrapping around your middle and keeping you close is almost better, her lips pressing against your collar bones and chest as you both breath hard, the room silent compared to the noise that once filled it.
She holds you there the entire time, whispering how much she loves you, promising you that she’ll give you everything you could ever want and need.
And while you’ve heard all of that before, just for it to end in shit….
You believe her, because this time? It’ll be different.

✎ jock!heeseung x reader, enemies to ?????, heeseung is rlly annoying, hate sex ;), hair pulling, dirty talk, unprotected sex, degradation, backshots lmao. i think that’s it?
summary: attending a new school was supposed to be a fresh start for you, trying to be nice to everyone and have new friends, yet coming across lee heeseung threw all of that out the window.
(heeseung x fem.reader)
wc: 3.2k
your sweaty hands could not be gripping the steering wheel any harder. you wouldn’t call yourself “super shy” but when it comes to a whole new community of people, teenagers, hell yeah you are.
you had to move exactly at the middle of the year due to your mom’s work. they offered her double the salary at the other side of the city, who was she to say no to that? although you were going to miss your friends and the overall environment of your old home, you couldn’t just tell your mom ‘no’, either way her decisions are final.
you just got here two days ago, and to be honest, it wasn’t that bad. the worst thing so far is the fact that the nearest shopping center was 30 minutes away but you’ll live.
you didn’t except your first day of school to be so nerve-wracking. surely you’ll make some friends but who knows what people are like here. eventually, you saw the big navy blue sign with your school’s name on it. it was an averagely big school, bigger than your old one, which also meant more people.
the parking space alone was scary. it was huge yet already full even though it was still fairly early. you went around in circles around the parking lot, trying to find a vacant spot. fortunately you did at the second-to-last line.
as you tried to park, the limited space you had made it difficult to, having to back up and drive in constantly. as you reversed your car, you must have completely forgotten that you aren’t the only one there, feeling a small crash at the bumper of your car.
your eyes widened in panic. you looked back to see what you hit, and with your luck, it revealed at very nice black car, to which you’ve just hit. you tried to quickly get into your parking spot, hoping it was nothing serious, but then someone came walking up to you.
‘shit, that must be the owner’ you saw his red, rather handsome, fuming face.
you got out of your car to confront the first person interaction.
“hey look im so-“
“CANT YOU FUCKING DRIVE RIGHT? YOU HIT MY VERY EXPENSIVE CAR WITH YOUR THING, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?”
oh he was an asshole. you almost scoffed in his face. who does he think he is.
“it was accident that’s all, it was barely a scratch calm down man.”
“IT WAS DEFINITELY A SCRATCH LOOK AT IT! JUST BECAUSE YOU KEEP YOUR CAR LOOKING ALL MISERABLE DOESNT MEAN I WILL, DO YOU EVEN HAVE A LICENSE?”
lord take me back. you were so close to just leaving him there arguing with himself. but you didn’t want to make him even angrier.
“look im sorry! i can pay for the fix up if that’s what you want, i dont know what else to do?”
the boy scoffed and rolled his eyes at your statement.
“you think i don’t have the money for it? please, it shows you’re a newbie around here.”
“i didn’t mean it like that-“
“yo heeseung!! come on bro!” another blonde boy called from afar, hopefully ending the argument y’all were having.
“ watch your back new girl.” with one last glare, he left to join his group of friends.
you rolled your eyes. shiver my fucking timbers, you thought.
you took a deep breath before grabbing your backpack and making your way into school , hoping to never see his face ever again.
>>
you thought that was going to be the end of it all. but oh boy were you wrong. soon you found out that heeseung is the captain of the football team, and pretty much the most popular boy in school. as cliche as it sounds, every girl would drop their panties if he asked them to.
people know he’s not the nicest person ( an asshole) yet they still look up to him. that’s angered you. how are all these people so dumb? just because he’s kinda good-looking? seriously?
over the course of a few weeks, you’ve managed to make some friends, your closest taehyun and Isa. although you tried to block the negativity, heeseung made it really hard. always giving you snarky comments when he saw you around, ridiculing you in front of other people. somehow always finding a way to run into you despite not having any classes together. except gym.
“ bro open your eyes, catch the damn ball!” he yelled from across from you.
you hated sports. even less could you play one, but you gotta do it for the grade.
“the ball was too high up dummy!” you retorted, rolling your eyes for maybe the 100th time in the class period.
if you hated gym before, you definitely hated it more now.
as the period ended, you decided to take a quick shower in the locker rooms since you couldn’t handle being all sweaty and gross throughout the day.
heeseung finished changing and was outside the locker room with his friends, chatting, waiting for the bell to ring. that’s when he may have accidentally eavesdropped the conversation between your two friends, he could barely the names of.
“where’s _____?” taehyun asked isa, noticing how you weren’t with her.
“she’s taking a shower right now, she told us to not wait for her.” Isa shrugged before taehyun nodded.
a beautiful idea popped in heeseung’s brain. it was too good.
he excused himself and sneakily waited by the girl’s locker room, waiting for everyone to come out. once he only heard the shower you were using running, he quietly entered the room. the bell had rang about a minute ago, so the gym was empty, only you and him. the gym teacher god knows where.
he saw his target and rapidly grabbed the pile of clothes sitting on the bench, a smirk evident in his face.
suddenly the shower stopped running, making heeseung hurry and exit the locker room.
the shower felt too good, you think you spent more time that you anticipated to. as you exited the shower tiles, you looked around for your clothes, which you remember clearly leaving them in the bench closest to the shower. you looked around the whole locker room, hoping you were wrong and placed them elsewhere. unfortunately, you couldn’t even find your damn socks.
your biggest fear has come true. you’re now naked, nothing but a towel covering you, this was more than just humiliating. you felt sad, mad, angry, embarrassed all at once. they’ve been stolen for sure, and you were more than sure on who did it.
grabbing your phone you called Isa, to see if she could help you somehow. and she indeed did. bringing you some spare clothes she had. thankfully, you always bring extra underwear since situations like these could happen. you just had to wait for isa for the clothes, yet the five minutes she took felt like five hours. unfortunately, passing period is over, meaning some students are coming in the locker room to change.
many of them just straight up stared at you. giving you weird looks as to why you were pretty much naked in the middle of the locker room, but none had the guts to ask you.
you wished the ground would just swallow you whole. lee heeseung won’t hear the end of it.
“LEE HEESEUNG!” you yelled across the field. he and his friends were siting down eating lunch outside when you spotted him after trying to find him after the stunt he just pulled.
heeseung knew it was coming, giggling with his friends as they heard you yell his name once again. “ oh she’s about to scold me now .” heeseung scoffed but still got up and went over to you.
“yes ma’am?” he said with a smile, you wish you could slap off but you’re better than that.
“YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID DO YOU KNOW HOW EMBARRASSING THAT WAS?”
“i have no idea what you’re talking about..” heeseung tried acting innocent but failed as he just burst out laughing. you groaned, how on earth is that funny?
“cute panties by the way” he continued to laugh, not sparing a glance at your mad expression on your face.
“you’re such an ass, i hate your guts.” you said leaving him alone, laughing to himself.
“yo bro i think she actually got mad this time.” his friend, jake came over.
heeseung shrugged. “she’s so sensitive, it wasn’t even that bad.”
“i can’t believe he did that…” taehyun said as you told them both what had happened. Isa knew a little bit but not who did it.
“that’s fucked up, what’s he got against you so much?”
you shrugged. “i guess because i gave his car a little scratch, but i guess he took it to heart since he hasn’t stopped bothering me since. he’s a jerk.”
“finally someone who thinks the same as me!” taehyun said making you chuckle.
“then get back at him! you know the one thing that makes him who he is is that damn football.” Isa said.
you tried to be the bigger person this whole time, not paying much mind to his little remarks or pranks he pulls, biting back a little wouldn’t hurt right?
“you know what, you’re right.”
“lee heeseung, mrs. park wants to speak to you.” mr.jung said calling heeseung.
heeseung who was barely paying attention heard his name. his frowned at this. what on earth could she want to talk about with him? either way, he went to her classroom.
he entered the empty classroom to find his coach and mrs.park, waiting for him. what the fuck? heeseung was more confused now. maybe they were going to congratulate him for the good work this semester? his coach’s face said otherwise though.
“there you are, you may be wondering why you’re here..” mrs.park started. heeseung nodded, feeling uneasy.
“a student came forward, showing how you copied word for word her whole assignment, the one i assigned a week ago. i didn’t notice it at first but it’s very clear now, you may know how cheating is unacceptable in my class, i’ve decided to fail you in this assignment, plus you’ll be serving detention this whole week..” she turned to the coach.
heeseung’s heart started beating at a rapid pace, he’s never been caught cheating, and being failed on the assignment that was a big part of his grade, it means he’s most likely failing the class now. the rules for football stated that all players should be passing all of their classes if not, they’ll be dropped….
no no no, the lee heeseung can’t be dropped. he’s the captain! the star player!
“since you’re failing this class heeseung, i think you know what’s about to happe-“
“please coach! don’t kick me out, i’m the captain! what would the team do without me? i’ll get my grade up as soon as possible im-“
“calm down calm down, i’m not going to kick you out, it’s the middle of the season, but unfortunately you won’t be playing the next three games. if your grade is not up by then, then i will drop you. understood?” his coach stated earning a sharp nod by heeseung.
he’s glad he’s still on the team but what’s the point if he can’t play? he’s going to become a joke. the captain that’s a bench warmer. how stupid.
he left the classroom enraged. he knows exactly who did this.
“bro what? what do you mean you ain’t gonna play ?” riki said in disbelief at what his captain just said.
“some snitch told mrs.park that i cheated on the last assignment and coach suspended me for the next three games, and i got detention all week!” sunghoon unknowingly chuckled. heeseung looked at him with a glare.
“what? she got you good, what did you expect hee?” sunghoon kept laughing, making some of the others also laugh silently.
heeseung had nothing to say back, he just rolled his eyes. “tch, whatever.”
nevertheless, you were overjoyed seeing heeseung slouching on the bench. you couldn’t miss this once in a lifetime scenario. obviously you were the cause for it. heeseung asks Isa almost all the time for her notes or to straight up copy her. she willingly let you rat him out after what he did to you.
he can sense how all eyes were on him, but he just tried to block everyone out a focus on the game. he had a poker face on, but deep inside he was irritated . he saw how you were smirking and laughing with your two little friends. you knew what you were doing.
>>
“ahh look who it is, the benchwarmer! “ you said chuckling as you made your way to heeseung.
after the team (barely) won, jake threw an ‘after party’ at his house. even though you don’t normally go to these parties, especially from those boys, you felt like a party would do good with your marvellous mood. something about seeing heeseung’s frowny face made feel over the moon.
“seems like cat got your tongue now huh? dont have anything to say-“
in a blink of an eye you were pulled into a room, heeseung’s fingers wrapped around your neck, pulling your face closer to his.
“what the fuck? heeseung-“
“shut the fuck up.” his hoarse voice caught you off guard. he was actually really mad.
“you think what you did it’s fucking funny? huh? almost getting me kicked out ? “ you’ve never seen him this enraged before. making you almost scared, yet….kinda turned on? no, you hate him, snap out of it! you told yourself yet the wetness in between your legs became hard to ignore.
you didn’t respond. “fuck, you’re so annoying, i can’t fucking stand you. i hate you.” he saw lowly. fuck that was hot.
you spoke before thinking. “then show me.”
not needing to tell him twice, heeseung pulled you completely in. your lips met in a kiss that was anything but gentle, a fierce and consuming clash that spoke longing and raw need.
The kiss deepened, fueled by an unspoken urgency, their mouths exploring each other with a fervor that left y’all breathless. his grip on your neck becoming tighter.
“shit im gonna show you to fucking behave.” he said before pushing you into the bed forcefully. you may have discovered a new kink of yours. watching as he undressed himself and yourself rapidly. feeling his anger through every touch he gave you.
he rubbed through your folds before inserting two fingers aggressively. your body jolted at the sudden move.
“holy shit go softer dumbass.”
“aw you think i give a fuck? suck it up and take it since you think you’re all that.” his fingers pumped faster and faster making it hard for you to answer back to his stupid remarks.
“oh my god..” you tried to pull his hand away before you cum. not wanting to see you orgasm so easily yet.
“just fuck me already heeseung, or is your dick as tiny as your brain?”
heeseung looked darkly at you. that stupid mouth of yours can’t shut up will it?
he retracted his fingers put of you and took his boxers off. wanting nothing more than to prove you wrong.
shit. your eyes went wide at what stood in front of you. saying he was big was an understatement. it was like a zipper for your mouth. how was that thing going to fit inside of you?
“can’t say anything now, can you slut?” he pulled your legs down the mattress to have you at the perfect angle to ram into you.
heeseung ran his til over your folds, teasing his way in. making you aggrevated.
“just put it in for fucks sake!”
“tell me how bad you want it.” you shook your head, no way were you going to beg. no way.
“alright then, i guess im gonna go.” he said letting go of your waist, acting as if he was going to leave.
“okay okay! please fuck me, i want it so bad, i want your big cock so bad heeseung.” heeseung moaned at your words. he didn’t wait any longer and thrusted all of him in you.
you both moaned yet it was more painful for you. you’ve never had something so big inside you before.
“fuck yeah..” he said then grabbing your neck, slightly choking you. your hands went to his biceps, trying to find something to hold on to as the speed he was thrusting in became more hostile.
“fuck me harder, like the asshole you are.” you said in between breaths. heeseung took the challenge and thrusted violently. the skin slapping and wetness of your core could probably be heard in the party outside.
“of course a whore like you would like to be fucked like this.”
before you could respond he pulled out of you earning a desperate groan from you, but then your were flipped, now on all fours and before you knew it he was back in you again. gripping your hip with one hand while he pulled your hair on the other.
“such a tight pussy, you probably fantasized about this am i right?” he said in your ear. you shook your head through your moan.
“in your dreams lee, in your fucking dreams. fuck you.”
“i’m quite literally doing that.” chuckling, he let go of your hair and instead gripped your other hip, going in deeper, nudging your cervix literally driving you to an edge.
“fuck i’m cumming.” you cried out. never has an orgasm felt like this. heeseung was on edge as well, feeling you clench around his dick did it for him.
your climax rose over you, making you fall into the pillow while heeseung kept thrusting until his own organs came over him, pulling out and releasing his white ropes all over your back.
tiredly, he laid besides you in the strangers bed, not knowing what to say now.
you turned to him, smirking. “i think i may hate you even more now.”

this is also definitely longer than it should’ve been but oh well
"fffuck baby you feel so good”
Abbys on top of you grunting and whining as she grinds her wet pussy across your’s and you’re also whining underneath her with furrowed brows however, unlike Abby, you can’t seem to reach that peak you so desperately want and need.
No matter what you try to do in an attempt to gain more friction whether it be grinding up into abby or trying to follow her movements, you only receive light grazes when abbys clit drags against yours which keeps you pent up and frustrated. And it definitely doesn’t help that your focus is off as your mind is crowded with the stress of midterms. All you want to do is have sex and cum with your girlfriend, but by the looks of it, that just wont be happening, and you’re too nervous to tell her.
Finally, Abby lets out a long drawn out string of curses and quick breaths as she leans down to lay on top of you as she orgasms and you feel her cum dripping onto your cunt and the feeling makes you let out a whine.
Abbys still grinding against you kisses along your neck and you can hear her whimpers and see her legs shake from overstimulation but you know she isnt gonna stop until you finish, so mentally you apologize to her for what you’re about to do and let out a series of faux high pitched whimpers moans and curses and grind up into her, hoping that she wont focus on it enough and just mistake her own juices as yours and that your moans are convincing enough.
But Abby knows you. She knows exactly what you sound like when you finish, she knows how your clit twitches and hole squeezes around nothing, your sloppy attempts at getting a few last bits of friction in, and she knows that whatever it was that you just did, definitely wasn’t real.
Abby quickly sits up and positions herself over you with her arms on either side of your head and you’re trying your best to avoid her confrontational gaze.
“baby?”
You respond with a quick ‘hm?’ before finally looking at her, trying to make yourself appear as innocent as possible.
“did you just.. fake an orgasm?”
“what?! n-no of course not why would you-“
“don’t you dare fucking lie to me”
You swallow thickly. You knew she could see right through you and her assertiveness always made your facades crumble. So after a few seconds of silence and her pointed eyes staring right into yours you finally break
“okay i did im sorry! im just too distracted and i didn’t wanna ruin it for you and because i know how overstimulated you get and you wouldn’t stop until i came and-”
You rambled on and on explaining it to her and then she started… laughing? You stopped talking, suddenly feeling extremely embarrassed and exposed.
“baby its okay, i just wish you would’ve told me, i just gotta make it up to you now”
Your brows furrowed at the last part of her sentence
“make it up to me how?”
“ fuck right there! “
Abby’s tongue plunged in and out of your cunt, occasionally stopping and reaching up to circle or suck on your clit, she had already made you cum beforehand letting you grind up and down on her thigh, allowing you to get the friction you were so desperately craving, leaving you fucked out yet still begging for more.
Your moans and curses bounced off the walls as the noises abby made while eating you out as if you were her favorite food, and if Abby was honest, you might as well be.
“abs shit don’t stop m’ gonna cum im so close please don’t stop”
Abby hummed in acknowledgment and sped up her pace, earning an extremely loud whine from you and you ground onto her face in an attempt to bring you to your peak sooner.
Within seemingly seconds you’re thighs were squeezing around abbys head so tight she almost couldn’t breathe as your orgasm crashed into you, although she wasn’t complaining. Your hand instinctively tugged on her messy braid, causing her to groan into your core, and the other you slapped over your mouth in an attempt to muffle your moans and curses.
She slowed her movements and your thighs and hands loosened up. Eventually she stopped and you started to catch your breath, assuming she was done but it hitched when you felt her fingers curling up into you.
“i know baby just one more ‘kay? you can handle that right sweet girl?”
You nodded your head responding with a mumbled ‘can handle it abs’ which made her smile. She sat above you now, her eyes focused on watching how your cunt squeezed around her fingers as she pushed the remnants of your previous orgasm back in.
You felt that same bubbling feeling in your core embarrassingly quickly. You tried to tell abby through broken whines and curses, wrapping your hand around her wrist even, but couldn’t seem to get the words out as your brain was beginning to short circuit and your body began to twitch due to the overstimulation.
“shh i know baby go ahead i got you”
Not too long afterwards your legs shook and abby felt you squeeze around her fingers so tightly she could barely move. She leaned down and kissed you gently as you succumbed to your orgasm. the kiss was sweet and sensual, a stark contrast to the shocks being sent through you as she rubbed your clit.
Eventually every little thing became too much to handle and you brought your hand up to her chest to gently push her off. Abby sat up and removed her fingers, smiling as she admired her work, licking you off her fingers and leaning down to give you a quick peck on your lips, allowing you to taste yourself, before smiling against them
“told you i’d make it up to you”

A list of things I've done that pissed my mother off, but as Batfam + Team Phantom edition
Bruce: got into a verbal fight and held a year-long grudge at my teacher for not giving me a fair grade at an annual competition, and proceeded to go out of my way to win said competition next year
Alfred: refused to eat her food, got told to cook for myself and did so, ending up with both my dad and sister saying my banana bread was the best thing they've eaten
Dick: swung on the bungee rope over the dry riverbed turned into junk yard, fell, miraculously did not die, went to that same bungee rope the next day
Babs: organized a stake out, found out which neighbor had been messing with trash bins when everyone blamed raccoons, called said neighbor a raccoon for the next three weeks
Jason: kept reading books at night with a flashlight, when said flashlight was taken away, lit a candle and accidentally almost set the house on fire
Tim: fled to a different country across the globe without telling anyone except my sister, who's been 7 at the time, and did not respond to any calls or messages for three months
Steph: picked a dress with glitter for a dinner with her relatives after specifically being told not to, was forced to change, but took my revenge by exploding a glitter bomb in the car when we have already arrived at the relatives' house
Cass: responded with 'sorry I didn't quite catch that could you repeat' to her very long rant, over text
Damian: successfully clawed and gnawed at a classmate's face after they destroyed my painting
Duke: was the leader of school rebellion over the 'no wigs allowed in school' rule in sixth grade, managed to convince two teachers to join, ended up with the rule taken down
Danny: accidentally shocked myself with a tazer I stole from her handbag, cried, when she came to ask what happened, showed her by repeating the accidental electrocution
Dan: pushed my maternal aunt into the pool and watched her flounder, knowing very well she is a bad swimmer, when confronted about it later argued it was the kiddie part of the pool and she could not have drowned
Jazz: told her I was in love with a girl she disliked, when she voiced her opinion on it, made a whole argument about how I'm supposed to learn from my own mistakes and not from her experiences
Dani: zoned out while she was yelling at me, came back to her saying 'you're no better than a pig', impulsively told her 'it's because of genetics' and started oinking
Sam: painted my nails and toes on my left hand and left foot black, dyed my hair purple, but only on the left side, as well as got a piercing on the left eyebrow, while the whole right side was left 'natural'
Tucker: learned to change the wi-fi password and held power over the internet every time she took my electronics away by asking a friend that lived nearby to come by my house and using their phone to change the password
Bonus:
Selina: repeatedly stolen antique jewelry from grandma because she, in turn, stole it from my other grandma
Valerie: turned rogue, teamed up with the opponent team in lasertag and helped them win over my own teammates
Talia: threatened a person I will carve their eyeballs out with a spoon if they ever as much as look at my sister funny again, a month later gave them a decorated silver teaspoon as a birthday gift
Jack Fenton: failed my driving license test seven times, three of which were on purpose
Maddie: ruined her plans of my picture-perfect marriage by friendzoning a son of her friend, claiming I'm saving my love only for the important things like mozzarella
Vlad: scared my sister shitless by telling her a scary story about ghosts under her bed and then hiding under her bed and making 'boo' noizes
Clockwork: purposefully made her experience deja vu by wearing the exact same clothes and greeting her the exact same way in the exact same place for three days in a row

let me in. toji zenin. 7k.
cw ᯓᡣ𐭩 nsfw links, choking, slapping, mouth-spitting[oops,not sorry] , unprotected sex, oral male + female , dirty talk, a little bit of ass eating, fingering, creaming, multiple orgasms, cream-pie, dirty talk ummmm i think that’s all! oh, toji is an emotionally unavailable boxer and you’re his project partner . . .
a/n ᯓᡣ𐭩 love this idea, might turn it into a bookkk.idk tho, anyways enjoy!
crimson droplets trickled down his pink lips, creating a stark, almost artistic contrast against the paleness of his skin. his breath is ragged, each exhale a testament to the raging fight within him.
his heart thunders against his chest, a relentless drum driven by the adrenaline coursing through his veins. his new white compression shirt, once pristine, now bore the scars of confrontation.
blood had seeped through the fabric, staining it with irregular patterns. the once clean shirt clung to his broad frame, damp with sweat. he could feel the sting of a split lip, the metallic taste of blood on his tongue.
a grin spread across his face, teeth coated with blood.
“you call that a punch? my grandmother packs harder than that.” toji sneers, wiping blood from his lips with the back of his hand, leaving a streak of red across his bruised knuckles.
“you think you’re tough shit zenin, let’s see if you talk that talk when you’re picking up your teeth from the ground.”
“i’m standing right here,” he smirks, voice laced with contempt as he takes a left lead stance.
just as expected, his opponent's face flushes with anger, muscles tensing at toji’s taunts.
his plan was working; he knew that anger clouded judgement, made moves sloppy and predictable.
“oh, don’t be shy.” toji’s grin widens as he continues picking.
his opponent charges with a roar, fists swinging wildly. toji remains calm, eyes never leaving his opponent. wait for it . . .at the perfect moment, toji executed a swift, calculated move, kicking his feet from underneath him with a precision that spoke of countless hours of training.
the ring seemed to tremble as his opponent hit the ground with a resounding thud. toji laughed, hands on his hips.
what a loser. he stands over the man, his plan had worked flawlessly, turning his rage into his own downfall.
for as long as he could remember, toji had been a fighter.
he vividly recalled the way he’d broken a kid’s nose on the first day of kindergarten, the shock and thrill of that first punch still fresh in his mind.
fighting was his way of releasing his pent-up anger against the world. every time he stepped into the ring, he felt a surge of power, a way to channel all his frustrations and rage into something tangible.
he enjoyed the way he could take all his frustrations out in the ring. the raw, unfiltered aggression that surged through him with every punch was intoxicating. the way his knuckles throbbed each time he threw a punch was a reminder of his own resilience.
every failure, every heartbreak, every whipping from his father while his mother watched, he let it all out in the ring. it was a catharsis, a way to purge the demons that haunted him.
he reveled in his own resistance, the way he could take hit after hit and still stand tall. the money was a nice touch too, a bonus that came with the thrill of the fight. but it was never just about the money.
it was about the chaos, the pain, the sheer physicality of it all. he fought because he wanted to, because he needed to. the truth was simple and stark: fighting was his way of surviving, of staying alive in a world that had always tried to break him.
"ugh, fuck," toji curses as he snaps his nose back into place, clenching his fist to stop himself from punching something. it's the aftermath of the fight, and toji's in his small apartment patching himself up.
he wasn't an amateur, but he had to admit that guy had the best of him for a second. he's sporting a bloody nose and deep bruising under his left eye. nothing major, but he knew his body would feel it in a few hours now that the adrenaline was wearing off.
he tosses the bloody tissue in the sink, staring at himself in the mirror, a fresh cut on his lip still oozing. he pulls his eyes away after a few seconds, unable to face the reflection of his battered self any longer.
"fuck, i'm gonna be late for class," he mutters, glancing at the clock. professor brown was already down his throat for all his absences, and he knew he'd get yet another talking to as soon as he stepped into the classroom.
he quickly finishes patching himself up, slipping on a black hoodie and sweats. he grabs his backpack, the weight of his textbooks feeling like a burden he couldn't shake.
♡︎
every step towards the lecture hall felt like a march towards another round of disappointment. as he walked, his mind raced with thoughts of the fight, the adrenaline, the pain.
he couldn't do this forever. eventually, it would catch up to him.
but for now, he had to keep moving, keep pretending that college was the answer. society had drilled it into his head from a young age. get a degree, get a good job, live a good life.
but what if that wasn't his path? what if he was just wasting his time?
he sighed, pushing the door open and bracing himself for the inevitable lecture from professor brown. one step at a time, he reminded himself. maybe one day, something would make sense.
“nice of you to join us mister zenin.”
“pleasure to be here,” toji mutters sarcastically, finding his usual seat in the classroom. mr. brown shakes his head before continuing the lesson, his bored voice like nails in toji’s head.
the older man’s voice drones on, a stack of crisp papers in his hand.
"alright, everyone, we're going to be working in teams for this project. i'll be assigning the pairs, so listen up."
you groaned inwardly. you hated group projects, especially when you didn't get to choose your partner. you glanced around the room, hoping for a miracle.
“y/n and toji," he announced, looking up from his list.
your heart sank. you turned to look at toji zenin; he was already staring at you with those steel dark blue eyes, his expression unreadable. he looked like shit—his eye was bruised underneath, and his lip sported a jagged cut.
"great," you muttered under your breath. "just what i needed." toji zenin could barely make it to class on time, how the hell did your professor expect you to work with someone so. . . incompetent.
toji wouldn’t know the meaning of academic achievement if it smacked him in the face, and you refused to let your grade suffer at the hands of him.
toji scoffed, catching your words. "don't sound too excited, princess."
"oh, i'm thrilled," you shot back, rolling your eyes. "i can't wait to do double the work because you can't even show up to class on time." you knew your words were mean, but you didn’t care.
"hey, i show up. . .sometimes," he said, leaning back in his chair with a lazy grin.
“besides, you might learn something from me.”
"like how to get into fights and skip class?" you snapped.
“thanks but no thanks.”
god, toji hated stuck-up females. and that’s exactly what you were being—stuck-up. the two of you had never really interacted, and you had nothing in common. you were an a-list student, and toji was the complete opposite.
he wasn’t thrilled to be working with you, not when there was a stick lodged up your ass. his jaw clenched as he held back the urge to say something snarky.
every time he looked at you, it was like a reminder of everything he despised: perfection, arrogance, and that holier-than-thou attitude. he couldn't stand it. but there you were, thrown together for this project, and he had to deal with it.
the thought of breaking through that icy exterior, seeing you crack, was oddly enticing. maybe, just maybe, there was a different side to you, one that wasn’t so damn perfect.
he wondered if he could fuck the attitude out of you. something stirred deep within him. the idea of seeing you vulnerable, of breaking through that facade, was almost. . . sexy.
the teacher cleared his throat, drawing their attention back to him. "i expect you both to work together and contribute equally. this project is a significant part of your grade. details will be sent to everyone’s emails so keep an eye out.”
you sighed, knowing you were stuck.
you glanced at toji again, trying to read his expression, but it remained stoic. this was going to be a long semester. you were relieved when the bell finally rang.
gathering your things, you couldn’t wait to step into your hot shower and let the day's worries wash away. you pushed your way through the dense crowd making it outside, humming in bliss as you felt the warm sun beaming down on your brown skin.a stark contrast from the cold, plain clsssroom.
your face scrunched in disdain as you heard his voice. you peered over your shoulder, watching him shove his way to you with a raised hand in the air.
“shit, you walk fast. shouldn’t we exchange numbers? if we’re partners.” he huffed, trying to catch his breath.
you scoff, crossing your arms over your chest, “i’ll do it, i’ll put your name on the paper.”
he steps closer to you and you can’t help but hitch a breath, you never noticed how menacingly tall he is. he’s at least six-foot-three, broad, he’s a damn giant. you gulp thickly as his cologne catches your nose, a mixture of vanilla and musk. fuck, your weakness for a good smelling man is surfacing.
his eyes gaze at you, and you’ve never noticed how beautiful they are up close, a blue and grey swirling together in harmony.
now that you’re up close you can see his injures better too.you want to question it, but decide not to.
“i want to help,” he demands, crossing his arms across his chest. you try to ignore the way your stomach churns at the tattoos peeking from underneath his hoodie.
you don’t feel like getting into yet another squabble and decide to just hand over your number, “only for project related things, toji.”
he laughs, it’s deep and guttural and you try to ignore the heat growing between your legs. you know toji is no damn good, his entire aura screams danger.
but damn, he was a sight for sore eyes. maybe having him around for the project wouldn’t be so bad, you’d enjoy the eye candy. but that’s the only thing he was, eye candy. you refused to let yourself get sucked up with whatever toji zenin had going on.
you’re surprised he even wants to pull his weight with this project, most people would’ve snatched up the offer without merely a second thought. his large hands hold your phone, making it look like a toy as he types his number and contact in.
“there,” he hands your phone back and you muster out a thanks.
“so,” toji buries his hands in his pockets, “how’re you getting home?”
“my roommate is gonna pick me up, what’s it to you?” you quip an eyebrow at him.
he shrugs, “can’t a guy be curious?”
“hm, i guess—“ the vibration of your phone interrupts you. it’s probably your roommate, ren, announcing her arrival.
ren<3 im soooo sorry, i won’t be able to pick u up
fuck.
toji can feel your mood shift.
“everything okay?”
you puff, “no. my fucking friend bailed on picking me up.”
“i don’t mind taking you home, where do you stay?”
you peer up at toji through your eyelashes, biting the inside of your cheek. you weigh the pros and cons, it’d take you an hour and a half if you walked, and the summer heat was sweltering. the pros outweighed the cons and you find yourself nodding. . . what’s the worst that can happen?
“right off of drury lane.”
toji can’t stop the mischievous smile that plays on his lips as you follow him to the parking lot. you’re surprised when he stops in front of a sleek black motorcycle. of course he’d have a bike, he’s practically a walking bad-boy cliché.
you eye the bike warily, you’ve never actually ridden a bike. partly because you never had the opportunity, the other half because you didn't want to become roadkill. toji notices you staring at the bike, he nudges your shoulder gently with his.
"don’t tell me you've never ridden a motorcycle," he teases, a playful challenge in his tone. you chew on your bottom lip, adjusting your book bag on your shoulder, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"don't worry, it's not as scary as it looks," he offers you a warm smile, handing you his helmet. "just hold on tight."
the helmet is heavy in your hands, toji makes it look so damn light.
“what about your helmet?” you ask.
“well, wasn’t planning on having another passenger so i don’t have one.”
“toji, that’s dangerous, what if you get hurt?”
he smiles, eyes gleaming. “look at my face, do you honestly think i’m worried about getting hurt? get on the bike y/n.”
sucking in a breath, you nodded and placed the helmet on. god, please don’t let this man crash with me on his bike. as the motorcycle roared to life beneath you, you pressed yourself against him, your arms instinctively wrapping around his solid frame.
the vibrations of the engine sent a thrill through you, but it was the feel of his abs, taut and defined under your fingertips, that truly set your heart racing.
your cheek resting against the helmet as you rested your head on his back. each muscle seemed to ripple with every slight movement.
you couldn't help but marvel at the contrast between his tough exterior and the vulnerability you’d seen in his eyes moments ago.
focus, you reminded yourself, trying to steady your breathing. but it was impossible to ignore the intoxicating mixture of danger and excitement that came with being so close to him.
the wind whipped past you, and you tightened your grip, feeling the warmth of his body through the thin barrier of your clothes.
as the motorcycle sped down the winding road, toji’s thoughts were a whirlwind of sensations and emotions. this is freedom, he mused, feeling the raw power of the machine beneath him. the roar of the engine, the rush of the wind—it’s like nothing else.
but then there’s you, pressed so closely against him, your arms wrapped securely around his torso.
he could feel your heartbeat, he realized, a small smile tugging at his lips. the way you clung to him, it was both a comfort and a distraction. fuck, your touch messed with his mind, his cock pressing against his boxers uncomfortably.
focus on the road, he commanded himself, but it was hard to ignore the warmth of your body and the way you fit perfectly against him.
the familiar scenery of your quiet neighborhood eased your nerves, you’d made it back home in one piece. maybe toji’s driving wasn’t as ass as you thought. a part of you was sad the ride was over, don’t get involved with this man y/n.
the bike comes to a halt, though still shudders with vibrations underneath you. you notice your arms are still wrapped around toji and you quickly retract, feeling your neck warm as you slide off the bike. you hate how he makes you feel like a school girl all over again, your clammy palms pressing against your flared denim jeans.
toji watches you shift under his gaze, he can tell he makes you nervous. he can’t help but grip the handles of his motorcycle as you remove his helmet, your messy hair fumbling across your shoulders. shit, you look so pretty. were you always this pretty? your honey blonde highlighted hair swishes with the wind, and he picks up the scent of cinnamon.
“t-toji, your nose is bleeding.”
confusion etched on his face. he swiped a hand under his nose and stared at the blood on his fingers. “shit,” he muttered, shaking his head as if to clear it.
why now, he thought, of all times?
your concern deepened as you saw how much blood was pouring out. “come inside, i have a first aid kit,” you offered, motioning towards your apartment.
he shook his head vehemently, pinching his nose and tilting his head back. “i don’t need your pity. i’m fine,” he snapped, his tone suddenly harsh.
you were taken aback by the sudden change in his demeanor. for a moment, you considered walking away, but then you saw the pain in his eyes, masked by his bravado.
ignoring his outburst, you stepped closer. “it wasn’t a fucking question,” you snapped back, grabbing his keys from his motorcycle engine before he could react.
he grunted in annoyance, glaring at you. “fine,” he muttered, clearly irritated but too exhausted to argue further. he hated how stubborn you were, how you wouldn’t take no for an answer. but somewhere, deep down, he was grateful.
as you walked towards your apartment, you couldn’t help but wonder what had happened to him. his tough exterior was starting to crack, and you were determined to find out what lay beneath. he, on the other hand, was torn between wanting to push you away and the strange comfort your presence brought.
the bathroom was cramped, the air thick with the metallic scent of blood. you stood over him, your hands gentle but firm as you cleaned his bloody nose. the sink was full of crimson-stained tissues, and he cursed under his breath.
“don’t be such a baby,” you said, rolling your eyes. easy for you to say, he thought, trying to ignore the way his stomach twisted with you so close. the sweet scent of cinnamon from your skin stirred his senses, making it hard to focus.
as you leaned over him, your breasts were practically spilling from your v-necked crop top. he could see the edge of your brown nipple peeking out, sending his mind into a spiral. he wanted to fuck you so bad.
“what’s the deal with all these injuries anyways?” you asked, examining his busted bottom lip.
you quirked an eyebrow at his silence. “you in the mafia or something, zenin?” you joked.
he couldn’t help but let a small smile tug at his lips. “maybe, maybe not. guess i’ll have to keep you on your toes,” he chuckled, shifting uncomfortably on the toilet seat.
you hummed, clearly not satisfied with his deflecting answer but deciding not to push further. you threw the bloody tissue in the trash bin before washing your hands.
“so, how do you even know how to properly tend wounds?”
“my mom was a nurse, taught me a lot. would’ve chosen it as a career, but, i can’t stand seeing people hurt. guess i’m too much of an empath, so i chose business.”
he’s quiet, soaking in the information.
“you know, you could at least try to be more careful.i don’t know exactly what you do but it doesn’t seem safe,” you add.
“who’re you to tell me what to do?” he shoots, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
“calm down. i’m just tired of seeing you come to class looking like you’ve been through a fucking meat grinder,” you snapped, crossing your arms.
“you should mind your business,” he retorted, his eyes narrowing.
you glared at him, your jaw clenched. “really? is it such a crime that i’m worried about you?”
he sighed, running a hand through his hair. “look, i- it’s just... complicated.”
“right, well i’m done. your keys are by the door.”you muttered, turning away from him.
you thought you were getting somewhere with the closed-off man, but clearly, you were wrong. you didn’t know why you even cared about him. he pushed past you, and you could hear the roar of his motorcycle a couple moments later.
working with him was going to be impossible.
♡︎
your fuzz-covered sock feet were tucked underneath you as you sat on the floor crisscrossed, writing notes for your project. it had been about two and a half weeks since toji stormed out on you, he’d apologized a day after. you wondered if he had bpd, had to with the way he was constantly shifting moods.
the pink gel pen glided across the paper effortlessly, the soft scribbles droned out by brent faiyaz. you brushed a strand of hair from your face, grabbing your chopsticks and taking a bite of your hibachi noodles.
“i can help, y’know. i’m not a total jarhead,” toji spoke up, nursing a cup of rice in hand as he looked at you, a playful glint in his eyes. he’d been so quiet you forgot he was even here.
“really? could’ve fooled me.” you muttered, ignoring the way his eyes burned into you.
he quipped an eyebrow. “wow, you think that little of me?” he pressed his hand against his chest, feigning to be hurt.
“yep.” you popped your lips on the p,sketching out a picture.
you were initially hesitant when toji had first asked if he could come over so you two could work on the project, especially after his last outburst. but, you didn’t really have a choice. if he decided to be petty and tell your professor you were refusing to let him work on the project that’d be your ass. he didn’t strike you as a snitch type, but you didn’t put it past him.
so every weekend, he would come over and work. scratch that—watch you work. you’d given up on actually trying to read him; he was so damn cagey. maybe he actually was part of the mafia. surprisingly, he’d been to class on time lately. much to your annoyance, he’d sit next to you every day. a part of you thought he was warming up to you.
he never would tell you where the bruises came from, no matter how hard you’d press him. it seemed like a regular occurrence where his nose would bleed and you’d be patching him up, a part of your weekend routine now it seemed. you’d mentioned you were hungry and he’d dashed some hibachi; it was a sweet gesture, but your guard was still up.
you peer up at him as he stands to his feet, stretching. the way his muscles ripple under his black compression shirt is almost hypnotic. you can't help but feel a growing heat between your legs as you catch a glimpse of his sharp v-line. the sight is so tantalizing that you quickly snatch your eyes away, feeling your cheeks flush with embarrassment.
he plops down next to you, his legs brushing against yours. the contact sends an unexpected shiver up your spine, making you hyper-aware of his presence.
“i said i’ll help.” he grabs the pen from your hand with a swift motion. you glare at him, reaching out to reclaim the pen. curse his long ass arms; he's holding it just out of your reach, teasing you with that infuriating grin of his. he seems to relish watching you struggle, his eyes glinting with amusement.
“toji, quit!” you huff, stretching again to grab the pen. in your effort, you lose your balance and fall against his chest. your breath hitches as his scent envelops you, a mix of something woodsy and masculine that makes your head spin. your heart is pounding in your chest now, each beat echoing in your ears.
fuck, why’re are you feeling like this?
“do i make you nervous y/n?” his eyes peer into yours as you finally sit up,flustered.
“n-no.”
“your heartbeat says otherwise.”
he can tell he makes you nervous, from the way you're always shifting under his gaze. he has to admit, you're a beautiful woman—extremely stuck up, but beautiful nonetheless. your hair, usually styled to perfection, is down tonight, framing your face in soft waves. you're wearing a matching two-piece set that hugs your curves in all the right places, and his eyes can't help but ogle your breasts, which threaten to spill out with every breath you take.
he notices the way your chest rises and falls rapidly, a clear sign of your nervousness. the delicate fabric of your outfit clings to your skin, accentuating your figure. his gaze lingers on the swell of your breasts, the way they strain against the fabric, almost as if they're begging for release. your beauty is undeniable, and even though he finds your attitude infuriating, he can't deny the magnetic pull he feels towards you.
as you shift uncomfortably under his intense scrutiny, he smirks, enjoying the effect he has on you. it's a game to him, watching you squirm, knowing that despite your aloof exterior, he's getting under your skin.
“didn’t anyone ever tell you it’s rude to stare.”
in a swift motion, he reached out and grabbed your wrist, pulling you towards him. before you could protest, he pressed a firm kiss against your lips, silencing you.
for a moment, the tension melted away, replaced by the raw, undeniable connection between you.
your mind screamed for you to pull away, but when he hooked his fingers into your face and pulled you deeper into his embrace you couldn’t help but drape your arms around his neck.
you knew there was no going back after this, toji fucking zenin was trouble and now you’d been sucked in.
you gasp in shock as toji lifts you up, your legs instinctively hooking around his waist. it takes you by surprise; you weren't exactly built like barbie. your arousal grows, finding this extremely attractive as he kneads your thighs through your pants.
"so damn thick, i've been dying to do this," he murmurs against your tingling lips.
you shudder as your back collides with the wall, the sound of a glass frame falling and crashing against the floor.you don’t care, your head is light with the way toji kisses you, hungrily against the wall, fingertips digging into your skin.
his tongue sought entrance and you immediately parted your lips, allowing him to explore your mouth feverently.
you can’t help but moan as his tongue dances with yours, each movement like a shock.your hands find the nape of his neck and then his hair, stomach clenching at the whine as you tug.you can feel your pussy dripping with arousal as his cock presses against you.
"please, i need you," you whine breathlessly into his mouth.
a smirk tugs at his lips. "you like to act all high and mighty, yet i've barely touched you and you're already begging me to touch your pussy." he lowers you, fingers deftly pulling at the hem of your pants.
you swallow thickly, watching as he pulls the fabric down your thighs. you shiver as he kisses your thighs, fingers looping around your underwear and pulling them down.
his mouth waters at the sight of your arousal seeping down your leg. he can't help but run his tongue along the sticky trail, making you moan softly as your head falls back against the wall.
"lay on the bed, ass up," he commands, tapping your thigh.
you waste no time getting on the bed, stomach pressed against the sheets as you arch your back in anticipation. you can feel the bed dip with his weight and your stomach flips; fuck, you're so horny it's unbearable.
"oh my fucking god," you whine out, feeling his tongue press flat against your throbbing clit. you want to scream as his tongue moves over you slowly, lapping up your juices, savoring the way you taste.
you're so damn tasty, and he can't help but pull his throbbing dick from his sweats. one hand strokes himself while the other digs into your ass, holding you in place as he eats you out.
your moans are like music to his ears as he slurps, airy and light, making his cock twitch in his hand.
"mm’nn, o-oh," you mewl in pleasure, feeling his tongue flick over your throbbing bud. it's been so long since you'd been touched like this; toji knows, he can tell by the way you're shaking.
"look how you're falling apart." toji murmurs against you, pulling you deeper into his face by your ass. he moans into you as he strokes himself, large hands sliding up and down his veiny cock. he sucks you with the same rhythm he's stroking himself, his moans vibrating against you.
he doesn’t mind the way you’re dripping down his face; if anything, it makes him harder. he has you in the palm of his hand and knows it—hell, even you know it. your eyes squeeze shut as his slick tongue pushes past your lips, exploring you further. you curse softly, back arching as you grip the sheets.
he’s devouring you like a starved man, knots filling your stomach as he swirls his tongue inside you.
the room is filled with the wet sounds of his ravaging. he can’t help but lose himself as he massages his swollen tip, jaw clenching with each lick of your throbbing pussy.
“eating me s-s-so good,” you cry out, spurring him on. he tucks himself back his pants and grasps your round ass with both hands, groaning at how soft your brown skin is under his calloused hands. he pulls your cheeks apart, admiring the messy sight. you’re so damn wet, and he loves the way he can see your pussy pulsating.
he braces his arms further onto the bed, tongue now swirling over your center quickly. you cry out, feeling his fast movements over your sensitive pussy.
"grind on me," toji husks, reveling in the way your pussy lips drag across his face. tears brim your eyes as you move slowly, mouth agape in pleasure at the sensation. his slight stubble has your stomach twisting as it pricks you.
"mm’fuck," you sob as toji explores you, his tongue dancing around the rim of your asshole and it’s hard to ignore the way your stomach is tightening.
"let’s stretch this pretty thing out,hm." he hums, sliding his pointer and index finger through your folds.
tears finally spill from your eyes as toji moves roughly, "your fingers are s-so l-ong," you whine, feeling them against your cervix.
“you’re so tight, hope i don’t break you. ” he grins, pressing a wet kiss on your quivering thigh.
you shudder at the sensation, “m’not fragile,” you shakily breathe out, body jutting forward each time toji pushes his fingers back into you. his hand is coated in your juices, your wet cunt pulling at him enticingly.
“oh yeah?” he challenges, curving his fingers at your hilt and attaching his lips to your asshole. your eyes snap closed, enjoying the way the knot grows in your stomach as toji pushes you towards the edge.
“you gonna cum?” toji asks, and you can hear the cockiness in his voice.
you whimper, “n-no,”
“liar,” he grunts, “tell that to your greedy pussy clamping down on me.”
one last swirl of his tongue, and a prod of his fingers, and your orgasm washes over you like a tidal wave. toji’s fingers don’t let up; he’s still working you roughly, not ready to pull his fingers out of your wetness.
“s-sensitive, please—“ you gasp out, finding it hard to grasp your words at the sensation.
“thought you weren’t fragile,” toji sneers behind you.
“m’fk off,” you sob, fisting the sheets.
“cumming on my fingers yet still so damn feisty,” he mocks, a smirk evident in his voice.
you’re seeing stars as toji fucks you, you’re so damn sore that your cervix is crying. you whine as toji finally pulls his fingers out, he can’t help but pop his fingers into his mouth, moaning as your juices coat his tongue.
he could eat you for hours.
your eyes feel heavy as your orgasm dissolves. “unt unt, not so fast, sleepy,” toji’s hand cracking over your flesh. you wince and meet his gaze, his face soaked in your juices, your clit throbs at the sight. you need him buried inside of you, immediately.
you slide off the bed, trying to ignore the way your legs feel like jelly. damn, this man is a certified munch. he smiles in amusement, watching you struggle to walk.
“you gonna undress me, baby?” he teases.
you nod, fingers playing at the hem of his dark shirt before pulling it over his head. you could drop to your knees now. almost every inch of his toned body is inked, contrasting beautifully with his pale skin. he’s so damn built, you’re sure every muscle has a muscle.
why the fuck does he always hide behind hoodies? he’s gorgeous.
“you’re so pretty,” you mumble, dropping to your knees and pulling his pants down. you can see his bulge pressing against his underwear, a slight wet stain from his pre-cum.
you hook your fingers beneath the band and pull them down, his cock smacking you across the face. he’s huge, and you’re regretting your remark about not being fragile. he’s at least eight inches, thick girth making you clench your legs shut.
“you scared?” he hums, hands finding your hair.
“no.” you lie, yet again.
“right, open your mouth, pretty.”
you obey.
toji groans loudly as he sinks into your mouth. you struggle to take him and grip the back of his thighs.
“fuck,” toji breathily whines, hips slowly rocking into your mouth.
“so pretty with my cock in your mouth,” he grunts, pushing back his hair from his face. you can only gurgle as he thrusts into you, soft strains of curses fumbling from his pretty lips.
your nails dig into the back of his thighs as he picks up speed. he’s so fucking deep in your throat you cry out, but it’s muffled by his dick.
his hands rest on the side of your head as he moves it to his own pace. he tilts your head back and groans as he feels himself hit the back of your throat.
the wet sounds emanating from you as he rocked his hips were incredibly lewd, making him twitch as he heard you struggle to accommodate him.
“fuck,” he swallows thickly, resisting the urge to go berserk on your mouth. your tongue swirls over his veiny dick each time he pulls out, you love the way his thighs tremble each time. you also love the way he’s vocal; not a lot of men are.
but toji’s not afraid to vocalize the pleasure he’s receiving.
he groans each time he feels his tip prod against the back of your throat. fuck, if he keeps going, he’ll nut in your mouth.
you gaze up at him, stomach clenching at the sight. his thick eyebrows are furrowed over rolled-back eyes, his mouth slightly ajar as you suck him.
he’s so damn beautiful.
his balls smack you each time he pushes back in. you let one of his thighs go and massage them between your fingers.
he cries out, legs threatening to buck from pleasure. your face is a saliva-covered mess as toji continues to fuck your face; you probably look like a slut, but you don’t care. you only care about making him cum.
he’s holding your hair in a clenched fist, watching in admiration as his spit-covered dick slides in and out of your mouth. he throbs at the sight, you’re so fucking sexy ugh.
“sucking m s’good.” he watches as you pop him out of your mouth, hands gliding vertically over his base as your mouth works his tip.
the wet gush of your hands on him is music to your ears, your hands now cupped in an ‘o’ shape. his inked abs glisten with sweat as he bucks his hips into your embrace , lips caught between his teeth.
your eyes catch his, they’re filled with lust and praise. his usually gray blue eyes are so dark they almost look black. his dick twitches in your hand, clearly loving the eye contact.
“such a pretty face, i wanna nut on it.” toji gasps softly, head lulling back as you jerk him faster. he’s full-on moaning now, he can’t hold them back anymore. you’re stroking him at the perfect speed.
a smirk plays on your lips,”so close already?”
toji’s jaw clenches and he pulls you to your feet immediately.
“so tired of you.”
“so fuck me,” you murmur against his lips, sporting a cheeky smile.
before you can comprehend, toji’s man spread on the bed and you’re in reverse cowgirl. a hiss fumbles from his mouth as you grip his base, “fucking teas—“ his words catch in his throat as you glide your slick pussy across him. his head suddenly feels heavy, and he aches at the idea of being inside of you.
your pussy is sticky and warm, the heat making him moan. you love the way his thighs shake each time you push his tip into your entrance and pop him back out, a trail of fluids glistening on his flushed tip.
your lips curl inwardly as you slowly sink down on him, sucking in a deep breath as he stretches you out painfully.
“it hurts,” you shake, shifting at the unfamiliar feeling.
“just a little bit more to take,” he coaxes, hands rubbing your back tenderly. you nod and sink onto him fully, mouth falling agape as you can practically feel him in your fucking stomach.
it takes a few seconds to let yourself settle around him. once you’re adjusted you begin moving.
“shitttt,” he drawls out, watching your brown ass bounce on him. you clutch the sheets for better grip, riding him with agility. toji can only moan as you fuck him.
it’s supposed to be the other way around. he’s supposed to be fucking you, but the way your greedy pussy is latching onto him . . .mmm.
“good ass pussy,”
he watches as your lips suckle around his cock as you slide up and down, his toes curls. you can feel his tip prodding into you deeply each time you descend, and it’s hard to keep from sobbing out.
his dick is so fat and your poor pussy is being pushed to its limits, but you don’t care.
“s-so deep,” you yelp, trying to keep your head up as you steadily move onto him. your back is slick with sweat as you move, a soft plap plap plap sound filling the room as your ass bounces against him.
“guess you’re not fragile after all, m’fuck,” toji grunts deeply as you twerk on his tip. if you keep it up he’ll be cumming in no time, it’s something about the way your ass bounces . . . mm mm mm.
you moan at his moans, quickening your pace as you ride him. your legs shake with each thud of his dick and you chew your lip to keep from shrieking.
your body is going to hate you tomorrow.
“look at that, creamin’ on my cock,” toji hums in contempt, watching the white substance build on his dick and stick to his pubes.
“c-creaming just for you,” you choke out, you don’t even recognize the sound of your own voice. you’re in so much bliss you don’t care about the mess you’re causing , you’ll be embarrassed later.but, for now you’re desperate to cum.
your back arches in pleasure, eyes watering as you roll your hips on toji. his large hand delivers sharp smacks to your ass, eliciting cries from your lips with each hit , head finally drifting forward in a state of euphoria.
“mm, s-so good,” he hisses through clenched teeth, watching as you raise your hips up just enough that his tip stays in,before pushing his length back into you, pussy visibly gripping his dick each time you raise your hips back up.
“look at you taking all of me like a big girl. you’re so fucking sexy,” toji appreciates.your stomach flips at his gratification.
your arms shake underneath you, struggling to hold yourself up as pleasure racks your body. you endure, focusing on toji’s moans as you slam down on him.
you’re so drunk off his dick.
“o-oh my g-god,” you mewl, feeling that familiar knot in your stomach. you hate that you’re close so fast, but the way he feels against your walls is driving you insane.
“so close already?” toji bites down a moan, using your own words against you. you want to say something snarky, but the words won’t leave your mouth; you can only grind your hips against him, desperately.
“let me finish you off,” he mutters breathlessly, you nod,and he curses softly as you slowly pull off of him, his hard cock bouncing off his stomach. he gazes at your gaping hole, cream trailing out as your pussy pulsates.
toji has you in missionary before you know it, pounding into you at inhuman speed as he holds your calves over your head. his silver chain swings enticingly in your face.
you look so pretty to him, eyes screwed shut as he drills into your quivering cunt, hair clinging to your face, lip caught between your teeth as small whimpers escape.
your legs shake with each deep thrust , ass lifting off the bed with each movement. spots intrude your vision as toji thuds into you. “mm’ so wet,” toji drawls out, enjoying the sounds you’re making.
toji slows his thrusts, continually pushing into you deeply but slower. he lowers your legs and you take the opportunity to hook them around his waist, pulling him deeper into you.
“fuck,” he whines, lowering himself down to kiss you. your lips meet his passionately, arms draping around his neck.
your moans are soft in his ear, between your ass clapping against his thighs and the feel of your nails in his hair he’s in bliss.
“you feel so good,” you gasp as toji begins to lift his hips slightly so that he can feel you deeper, a breathy "shit" uttering from his lips. whenever he speaks in that deep voice you want to suck his dick, yes again. it’s so sexy and guttural.
“you like when i'm deep inside you like this?” he whispers, hands spreading your cheeks causing you to gulp down a groan. you nod, a whimper leaving your lips.
he moans at the sultry whimper, your square acrylic nails scratching at his back now. tears spot your vision as you try to pull away from him, overwhelmed by the pleasure. toji shakes his head, pinning you in place.
“unt unt, take this shit.”
a loud slap across your round ass.
his hand wraps around your throat, and you feel a slight pressure as he chokes you gently. your breath quickens, and a wave of pleasure washes over you, making your stomach clench.
"you like that, don't you?" he whispers in your ear, his voice husky and filled with desire.
you nod, your eyes half-lidded with pleasure. his hand moves swiftly, delivering a light slap to your face. it’s not hard enough to hurt, but the sudden sting and the unexpectedness of it make your core throb with excitement.
“so fucking sexy.”
he puckers your mouth, holding it open as he leans in closer. you feel a mix of anticipation and curiosity, your heart racing. then, he spits into your mouth, and to your surprise, a surge of excitement rushes through you.
your eyes widen slightly, and you swallow, feeling an odd thrill that you hadn't expected. the act is strangely intimate, and it ignites a fire within you. he watches your reaction closely, a smirk playing on his lips as he sees the effect it has on you.
"good girl," he murmurs, his voice low and commanding. the words send a shiver down your spine, and you find yourself wanting more, completely captivated by the intensity of the moment.
you can feel that familiar tingling sensation in your stomach and know you’re close. you want to scream when he pushes into your g-spot,his eyes glisten.
“got you, this is where you’re weak right?”
he drills into that spot until you’re coming undone. he wraps his hands in yours, teary eyes meeting his as he encourages you.
“it’s okay, cum on me. it’s yours.” he husks, burying his face in your neck as he squeezes your hands through your high. you’re exhausted, as toji fucks you through yet another orgasm.
he’s nearing his end, and another push of his hips sends his trembling dick over the edge. thick ropes of semen decorate your pink walls, thick creampie oozing out. he curses and shudders, hands pulling out of yours.
the mattress dips as he lays beside you, chest heaving. he stiffens when you cuddle into his side. it seems like forever as he lays there with you, you’re still curled into his side and he can’t bring himself to embrace you.
he’s relieved when he hears your soft snores.
he feels like an asshole when he gently slides from underneath you, praying you don’t wake up as he pulls his clothes on. he can’t get attached to you, he corrupts everything he touches and he doesn’t want that for you. he knows he’s a mess, he’s trouble.
he also knows you’ll be pissed when you wake up and see his text message,
sorry, but you’ll have to find a new partner.
he tells himself it’s for the best as he starts his motorcycle, besides, he barely knows you.
but the unfamiliar pang in his chest says otherwise. he can't shake the thought that maybe, just maybe, he’s falling for you.

Of course, yeah.
However, even if i somehow had the option to do a scientific study on this, there's always going to be some bias. My goal was not to find an objective answer to "which language sounds the best" because that's... simply not possible and a question of taste to begin with. Lots of people who commented (irl also) connected their choice to an irl association they had (e.g. their grandma spoke russian, russian reminds them of grandma, it's pleasant). So, yea, of course its influenced by experiences in lots of ways. Doesn't make it less interesting imo 🤷
(tho if i had to design a scientific study, it'd probably involve listening to unlabled samples from languages you don't understand and rating them.)
You can just look up samples for languages you don't know online and on youtube btw. Obviously I don't expect everyone to, but you don't have to rely on chance!
I'm curious about something... (and fucked up the last poll. if u saw no u didnt)
*As in, you enjoy listening to it, like it aesthetically, think of it as attractive, whatever. This is NOT about whether or not you understand the language or if you like whatever you associate with it or whether or not it's "useful" (e.g. If you do not speak a single word of japanese but really love how it sounds, vote for it. if you think italian sounds sexy but don't really care about visiting Italy, vote for it. If you like the look of the hebrew alphabet but not how it sounds, DONT vote for that. It's about the sound.)
Before you come at me: These categories are not perfect. Some of them are sub-categories of a bigger family (Indo-European), some languages are in the same category but sound really different etc etc. I had to leave out or group some of these together in a way that I felt made most sense for what I wanna know & the demographics of this site. I'm not a linguistics expert.
Feel free to share your thoughts in comments or tags! 👍
#depending on where you live it's not unlikely you heard some indo iranian language in passing. but thats not enough to remember it of course#but yea i actually looked up a lot of languages on yt recently. starting with igbo cause a friend on here liked it#also i was going to comment on the redults including whys and hows once its finished#but like. yea its a tumblr poll it's not going to be objective#if i had lots of time itd be cool to do something like do you like this song but with language clips tbh#like with unlabled languages and options on knowing or not knowing it vs liking it#reply#btw sorry if this came across as confrontational. its not meant to be :|

“𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄.” “𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐃.”
PAIRING: jj maybank x reader.
SUMMARY: you’re always there when he needs you.
jj hadn’t talked to you in weeks. he knew it was wrong. to just , disappear the way he did. but he couldn’t keep doing it. the whole ‘relationship’ thing. it wasn’t that he didn’t love you , because , fuck , did he love you. but he loved you too much.
he loved you in the way he searched for your face in everyone he came across. always scanning for the familiarity of you in crowds. he loved you in the way that his heart would race when you held his hand , dragging him along the shore of the beach rambling about your special interests. holding on to every word , storing it in a part of his brain that he specifically reserved for you and everything you loved or didn’t.
he loved you so much to the point that it fucking petrified him.
and so jj did was jj was the best at— ignoring the problem and hope it goes away.
he thought he could just ignore you , forget you. erase the mere memory of ever coming across you.
he didn’t want to. he knew he didn’t. and if he thought about it too long he’d cry and cry like a little boy , clutching onto himself to help self sooth the pain he had inflicted onto himself.
it was better this way. he told himself over and over. that’s what he told john b when he was confronted about your absence. that’s what he told pope who could tell he missed you dearly. he repeated it to kiara who’d scold him about ghosting you.
this way he was in control of when it ended. you didn’t have the chance to leave him , to hurt him.
to abandon him.
and maybe that’s why he was so angry.
so angry to the point that all of that sadness and hurt mixed together and blinded him from the matter at hand.
so angry he’d get into a fight at the country club and earn himself a cell to sit and think about what he did.
jj was leaning against the wall , eyes closed as he hummed some tune to distract him from what was happening all around him.
“maybank!”
his eyes shot up at the officer who looked at him in a way that made his skin crawl and eyes roll. eyebrows up , he cocked his head to the side. “yes?”
the officer unlocked the cell door and moved back , glaring at the young troublemaker. “you’re free to go. ride’s here.”
jj jumped up triumphantly , saluting him in the process. he had expected john b or pope waiting for him outside , anyone really. anyone but you.
as he walked outside and saw you leaning against your car with your eyes wide with worry , he froze in his spot. immediately his heart thumped in his chest. looking around , there was nobody else around.
“y/n?” he said lowly , cheeks flushing in embarrassment. one because he hadn’t spoken to you in weeks and two because the first time he’d speak to you after those weeks were from him being thrown in jail for fighting.
your head perked up at your name , relief flashing over you. you practically ran towards him , throwing arms around his shoulders instinctively. “jj! i was so worried about you. i-i heard about what happened and they called me because i was on your emergency list and everyone else was busy when i called so—”
“you came?” jj’s hands were frozen at his side , his chest hammering into his head. “but-”
“you called.” you pulled away and gave him a small smile. “and i’ll always answer when it’s you.”
the weight of your words hit him harder than he had ever felt before. he had always been so used of being alone , or falling into john b and pope’s arms because the pogue’s were all he had— but maybe he did have you. maybe. . . maybe you wouldn’t leave.
jj held back the tears he felt begging to flow , and his arms felt like jelly as he wrapped them around your waist and held him to you tightly. your hair still smelled the same , you still scrunched the fabric of his shirt in your hands when you hugged him.
“i’m sorry , y/n.” jj mumbled into your hair , sniffling just a bit— holding onto his composure. “i didn’t want you to leave me.” he choked back a sob as he confessed all what he had been feeling , all what he was too scared to say then. “and i know that it was selfish and i know i don’t deserve for you to be here right now but i’m so fucking scared and i hate being scared.”
you sighed. you couldn’t say you weren’t mad or upset that jj hadn’t talked to you sooner , that he just stopped answering your calls and messages.
but jj was different. and he was special. and you knew he had never been loved the right way. and you couldn’t blame him for wanting to protect himself.
you rubbed your hand down his back soothingly , fisting the fabric of shirt. “it’s okay.” you assured him. “i’m not mad at you anymore.”
jj pulled away and wiped his cheek with the back of his hand quickly. “you should be. you should hate me.”
“i could never hate you.” you shook your head , cupping his cheek gently to avoid touching the bruised parts. “i missed you.”
jj held onto your hand that held his cheek , kissing the palm of it softly. “i missed you. . .”
you looked into his eyes and saw how he looked at you. and he didn’t need to say it.
you could be patient.
“let’s get you home , j.”

The Hard Deck hummed with its usual Friday night energy. Glasses clinked, laughter rose in waves, and the jukebox crooned an old Tom Petty song. You sat at the bar, absentmindedly tracing the condensation ring your drink had left on the wooden surface. It had been four months since you’d seen Bradley Bradshaw—four long months of waiting, wondering, and overthinking. You couldn’t decide if the knot in your stomach was from excitement or the growing anxiety about what, exactly, you and Bradley were.
Your heart jolted when you heard it—the unmistakable low rumble of the Bronco’s engine pulling into the parking lot. Your pulse quickened, and you felt every nerve in your body go on high alert. Turning toward the door, you saw him.
There he was. Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, in all his casual, rugged glory. Light wash jeans clung perfectly to his long legs, paired with a simple white undershirt under an unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt. His aviators, always a part of his signature look, were perched on his face, but as he stepped inside, he slid them off, tucking them into his shirt pocket. The room seemed to dim around him, your focus narrowing solely to the man you’d spent countless nights thinking about.
His eyes scanned the bar, and the moment they found yours, a lazy, lopsided grin spread across his face. He didn’t break eye contact as he ordered his beer from Penny. Then, beer in hand, he made his way to you.
“Hey, gorgeous,” he said smoothly, his voice low and warm, like a melody you’d missed without realizing it.
A soft laugh escaped your lips as you slid off the stool, your arms wrapping around him instinctively. The tension of the last four months melted—if only for a second—as he looped an arm over your shoulders and pulled you in. He smelled of salt and sunscreen, the lingering scents of the ocean clinging to him.
“Missed you, sweets,” he murmured near your ear.
Your throat tightened at his words, but you forced yourself to play it cool, smiling up at him. “Missed you too.”
For a moment, you were lost in the way he looked at you, the warmth in his hazel eyes making your chest ache. But then, with a slight squeeze of your shoulder, he pulled away.
“I should go say hi to the gang,” he said, gesturing toward the pool table where Phoenix, Bob, and Coyote were gathered. “You don’t mind, right?”
“Of course not,” you replied quickly, shaking your head. “Go catch up.”
He gave you another of his disarming smiles before walking off, his long strides carrying him toward his friends. You watched him go, heart sinking slightly as you turned back to the bar.
The reality of your situation hit you again: you didn’t know where you stood with him, and the months apart hadn’t brought any clarity.
The laughter from his group reached your ears, and you sipped your drink to distract yourself. You wanted to be happy just to see him again, to feel his arm around you, to hear him call you “sweets.” But in the pit of your stomach, the question gnawed at you: What are we?
The night had deepened, and the cool ocean breeze filtered into the bar as the laughter and music continued around you. Bradley had been with his friends for most of the night, his easy smile and quiet laugh lighting up the group. You didn’t begrudge him the time to reconnect, but your heart weighed heavier with every passing minute. You couldn’t wait any longer.
When he came back to the bar to grab another beer, you saw your chance. Before he could return to the others, you touched his arm, stopping him.
“Bradley,” you said softly, your voice almost drowned out by the jukebox. His hazel eyes met yours, warm but questioning. “Can we talk? Just for a minute.”
His brows knitted slightly, but he nodded. “Yeah, of course. What’s up?”
You gestured toward the patio doors. He hesitated for a beat, then set his beer down and followed you outside. The night outside was quieter than inside the bar, the faint crash of waves filling the space between you.
Bradley leaned casually against the patio railing, but there was tension in his shoulders that hadn’t been there a moment ago. He seemed almost hesitant as he met your gaze.
“What’s on your mind, sweets?” he asked, his voice warm, though a flicker of unease crossed his features.
You exhaled deeply, gathering the courage to say the words that had been circling in your mind for months. “I need to talk about us, Bradley. I need to know what we’re doing.”
His expression faltered, confusion laced with discomfort. “What do you mean?”
“I mean…” You took a shaky breath, trying to steady yourself. “We’ve been doing this for a year. And I’ve been happy—really happy—with you. But I can’t keep pretending I’m okay with not knowing where I stand. I need to know if this is going somewhere.”
He shifted his weight, dragging a hand through his hair. “I didn’t think we needed to put a label on it,” he said, his tone measured. “I thought we were good.”
“That’s the problem,” you replied, your voice trembling slightly. “I might have been okay with that before, but I’m not anymore. I want more, Bradley. I want to be yours, and I want you to be mine. Officially. Exclusively.”
He frowned, the lines on his forehead deepening as he crossed his arms. “I don’t see why we can’t just keep things the way they are. I like what we have. It works.”
“Does it work for you? Because it’s starting to tear me apart,” you shot back, your voice louder now. “I’ve spent the last four months not knowing if I was the person you missed or just someone to pass the time with when you’re here.”
Bradley’s head snapped up, his hazel eyes burning with something between guilt and frustration. “You think I don’t miss you?” he asked sharply. “You think I don’t care about you?”
“I don’t know what to think, Bradley!” you admitted, throwing your hands up. “You never tell me how you feel, and you keep everything so damn vague. I don’t even know if you’ve been with anyone else, because we’ve never talked about it!”
His jaw tightened, and he stepped closer, lowering his voice. “I haven’t been with anyone else. It’s only been you.”
The sincerity in his voice made your chest ache, but it didn’t ease the tension coiled tightly inside you. “Then why can’t you just say it? Why can’t you call me your girlfriend?”
“Because it scares the hell out of me!” he snapped, his voice breaking slightly. He turned away, bracing himself against the railing. “I’ve seen what this life does to people. My dad left my mom behind, and it destroyed her. I can’t—” He exhaled roughly, his broad shoulders rising and falling. “I can’t do that to someone. To you.”
Tears stung your eyes, but you refused to let them fall. “You think you’re protecting me by keeping me at arm’s length? You think it doesn’t hurt to feel like I’m asking for too much just to be something more to you?”
He turned back to you, his hazel eyes filled with regret. “I’m sorry,” he said quietly. “I’m sorry I’m not the person you want me to be.”
His words cut deep, and a tear slipped down your cheek before you could stop it. You swiped at it angrily, stepping back. “I’m sorry, too. Because I can’t keep doing this. I can’t keep pretending this is enough.”
“Wait,” he said quickly, reaching for your hand. “Don’t go. Please. We can talk about this—figure something out.”
You shook your head, pulling your hand away. “We’ve been ‘figuring it out’ for a year, Bradley. I can’t keep waiting for you to decide I’m worth the risk.”
“Don’t say that,” he said, his voice breaking. He stepped closer, desperation flickering in his eyes. “You are worth it—I just—”
“You just don’t know if you’re ready to admit it,” you finished for him, your voice trembling. “And I can’t keep waiting for you to be ready.”
The silence between you was deafening. He looked at you like he wanted to say something—anything—that would make you stay, but the words never came.
Finally, you turned and walked away, tears blurring your vision.
“Wait!” Bradley called after you, his voice raw. “Let me at least drive you home. Please.”
You stopped but didn’t turn back.
“No,” you said firmly, your voice barely above a whisper. “Don’t follow me, Bradley.”
As you reached the parking lot, Jake Seresin stood leaning against his truck, his arms crossed as he watched the scene unfold. When your tear-streaked face came into view, his expression softened.
“You okay?” he asked, his voice low.
“Can you drive me home?” you asked, wiping at your cheeks. “Just drop me off and come back.”
Jake nodded, his usual cocky demeanor nowhere in sight. He opened the passenger door for you without a word, and you climbed in.
As Jake’s truck rumbled to life, you glanced back. Bradley stood on the patio, his hands on his hips, his face a mix of heartbreak and confusion. The sight of him cracked something deep inside you, but you forced yourself to look away as Jake pulled out of the parking lot.
The weight of what had just happened settled heavily on your chest, and for the first time in months, you felt the full brunt of the unknown you’d been living with.
The hum of Jake’s truck filled the silence as you stared out the passenger window, the cool night air brushing against your face from the barely cracked window. You gave him quiet directions when needed, your voice soft and distant. Jake didn’t press, didn’t ask what had happened right away, and for that, you were grateful.
But the silence couldn’t last forever.
“You wanna talk about it?” he asked finally, his voice even but cautious.
You shook your head, your eyes still fixed on the darkened streets. “There’s nothing to talk about.”
Jake glanced at you briefly, the furrow of his brow barely visible in the dim light of the dashboard. “Doesn’t seem like nothing,” he said carefully. “You looked pretty torn up back there.”
Your jaw tightened, and you exhaled sharply through your nose. “I’m fine,” you said, though the crack in your voice betrayed you.
Jake didn’t push, but he wasn’t ready to let the conversation drop entirely. After a moment, he said, “You know, Rooster talked about you while we were deployed.”
Your head turned sharply toward him, your stomach twisting. “What?”
“Yeah,” Jake said casually, his hands steady on the wheel. “Nothing too specific, but… you came up. Enough to know you were on his mind.”
The words stung more than they soothed. If you’d been on his mind, if he’d thought about you during those long months apart, then why couldn’t he just give you what you needed? Why couldn’t he make things official?
“Great,” you muttered, crossing your arms. “That makes it so much better.”
Jake glanced at you again, his lips pressing into a thin line. “Look, I’m just saying… the guy cares about you. He might not say it the way you want, but he does.”
You let out a bitter laugh, shaking your head. “Caring about someone isn’t enough if you can’t show it. If he cared, he wouldn’t make me feel like I’m asking for too much just to have some clarity.”
Jake didn’t have a response for that, and the silence returned, heavy and thick.
A few minutes later, he pulled up in front of your place. The truck idled quietly as you unbuckled your seatbelt and reached for the door handle. “Thanks for the ride,” you said, your voice softer now.
“Anytime,” he replied, his tone sincere. “You sure you’ll be okay?”
You nodded, though the tightness in your chest said otherwise. “Yeah. I’ll be fine.”
Jake didn’t look entirely convinced, but he didn’t argue. “I’ll wait till you’re inside,” he said, his voice firm but kind.
You gave him a small, grateful smile before stepping out of the truck. The cool night air hit your face, grounding you for a moment as you made your way to your front door. You fumbled with your keys, finally unlocking the door and stepping inside.
As you turned to shut the door, you glanced back at Jake. He gave you a short nod before driving off, his truck disappearing into the night.
The quiet of your home wrapped around you as you leaned against the door, your chest tightening with the weight of everything that had happened.
For the first time in a long time, you felt completely alone.
The silence of your home was interrupted by the sharp buzz of your phone on the counter where you’d dropped it. You hesitated before picking it up, already guessing who it might be.
The screen lit up with Bradley’s name. The first message was simple, almost hesitant.
Bradley: Just let me know when you’re home safe.
You stared at it for a moment, your chest tightening. A second buzz followed.
Bradley: Can we talk? Please?
Then another.
Bradley: I shouldn’t have said what I did. I just—I didn’t know how to handle it.
And another.
Bradley: You can put the label on it. Whatever you want. I don’t care. Just… don’t shut me out.
You swallowed hard, the lump in your throat growing with each buzz. His words were frantic, almost desperate, but that only made the ache in your chest deepen.
He didn’t want the label because he wanted it. He wanted it because he thought it would keep you from walking away. That wasn’t what you’d asked for. You wanted him to want you, fully and without hesitation. But this? This was him trying to patch things up without really understanding what had broken.
The phone buzzed again, another message lighting up the screen.
Bradley: I care about you. You know that, right?
You sat down on the edge of the couch, the weight of everything settling heavily on your shoulders. Your thumb hovered over the screen, debating whether to respond.
But you didn’t. Not to this. Not to him trying to fix things for the wrong reasons.
Instead, you set the phone down on the coffee table, face down, and leaned back, closing your eyes. If he really wanted to know you were home safe, he could ask Jake. The thought was petty, maybe even cruel, but right now, you don’t have the energy to be the bigger person.
You needed space. Time to think. And if Bradley wanted to prove he cared, he’d have to do more than send a flurry of panicked texts.
Your bedroom was dark except for the soft glow of a streetlight filtering through the curtains. You kicked the door shut behind you, your chest heaving with the weight of unshed tears.
Stripping off the shirt and jeans you’d worn to the bar, you rifled through your drawer for something comfortable. You yanked out a pair of sweatpants and an oversized T-shirt, tugging it over your head in a rush to get comfortable.
The scent hit you before the realization. That faint mix of salt air, pine, and his cologne.
Your heart plummeted.
It was his shirt.
You froze, staring down at the faded Navy insignia printed across the chest. A lump rose in your throat, thick and unrelenting. Without thinking, you ripped it off, balling it up in your fists.
The scream tore from your throat, raw and full of anguish as you hurled the shirt across the room. It smacked against the wall and slid to the floor like it had no right to exist, like it hadn’t just unraveled you completely.
"I hate you," you whispered, your voice trembling as you sank to your knees. "I hate you, Bradley Bradshaw."
But even as the words spilled from your lips, you knew they weren’t true.
You hated the way he made you feel. The way he held you so close but never close enough. You hated the way he smiled at you, like you were the only person in the room, and the way your heart betrayed you by falling for him.
You hated that you weren’t enough for him.
Tears streamed down your face as you pressed your palms into the carpet, curling over yourself. He wouldn’t put a label on it to protect you, but what good did that do now? You were already in too deep. The dates, the late-night conversations, the stolen kisses, and the nights spent tangled in his sheets—none of it had been casual for you.
God, you were in love with him.
The sob broke free before you could stop it, wracking your body as you crawled onto your bed. You grabbed your pillow, clutching it against your chest as if it could anchor you, and let the tears fall.
It hurt. It hurt because the label didn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. Whether he called you his girlfriend or not, it wouldn’t stop the fear you felt every time he flew. It wouldn’t protect you from heartbreak if he didn’t come back.
And yet, the label was everything. Because it meant he chose you. It meant he wasn’t holding back, wasn’t keeping you at arm’s length because of his own fear.
The pillow muffled your cries as you curled into the fetal position, trembling from the force of your grief. You hated him, but only because you loved him so much more.
The light from the morning sun filtered through the blinds, casting warm, golden hues across the room. You woke with a start, blinking against the brightness, your head heavy from the weight of last night’s tears. It took a moment for your eyes to adjust, the remnants of your sobs still echoing in your mind, the sting in your throat lingering.
You sat up slowly, the tightness in your chest reminding you of how broken you had felt when you finally gave in to the exhaustion and let sleep claim you. You hadn’t expected to wake up with this much pain still sitting in your bones. The weight of everything felt heavier today, more unbearable.
Then you heard it.
A knock.
A sharp, insistent pound against your front door.
You flinched, the sound jerking you from your thoughts. Your gaze flicked to the alarm clock on your nightstand. Barely eight in the morning. Who would be knocking at your door this early? You pulled the blanket off your body and swung your legs over the side of the bed, feeling the dull ache in your limbs from the previous night’s emotional rollercoaster.
With trepidation, you padded down the hallway, the floorboards creaking beneath your feet. Your mind raced with thoughts of what could be waiting for you on the other side of the door.
You reached for the handle, taking a deep breath before opening it.
And there he was.
Bradley Bradshaw.
Standing there, one hand raised in the midst of another knock, his eyes wide, full of uncertainty and something else. Something deeper. His jaw tightened when he saw you, and for a moment, neither of you moved, the air between you thick with the unspoken.
He was still in the clothes he’d worn to the bar last night, like he hadn’t bothered going home first. His expression was a mixture of regret and frustration, but there was something else too—guilt, maybe. Or maybe it was just that damned vulnerability that had always been so hard to read with him.
“Hey,” Bradley’s voice was softer than you expected, rough around the edges, like he’d barely slept.
You didn’t respond right away, your eyes flicking over his face, searching for something. What did he expect from you right now?
You weren’t sure you even had the energy to be angry with him. The night before had drained you, and the last thing you wanted was to face him again.
“I… uh, I wanted to talk.” His voice cracked, and it sent a shiver down your spine.
You stood there, frozen, still not sure if you were ready to hear what he had to say. Last night had hurt too much, and you weren’t sure if you were willing to put yourself through more of it.
But, against your better judgment, your mouth opened. “About what?” You didn’t mean for it to come out like that, but the words slipped from your lips, laced with a bitter edge.
Bradley shifted his weight, his eyes dropping to the ground for a brief moment before meeting yours again. There was something desperate in his gaze now, something that mirrored the pain you’d felt last night.
“I screwed up. I know I did.” He spoke like he hadn’t planned the words but they’d come out anyway, raw and real. “I just… I didn’t think you’d want a label, but I get it now. I see that I’ve been messing this up for both of us.”
Your chest tightened. The familiar ache in your heart was back, that throbbing reminder of how close you were to breaking. He was standing there, telling you everything you needed to hear, but it didn’t change the fact that it was too late.
“I didn’t want to pressure you into something you didn’t want, but if I’m being honest… I don’t want to lose you.” His voice softened, and there was a flicker of something that could almost be called regret. But the words didn’t feel right. They didn’t feel like they were coming from the heart. They felt like something he was saying out of guilt.
The silence stretched between you. You could hear your heartbeat in your ears, feel the weight of the decision that had to be made in the pit of your stomach.
You opened your mouth to say something—anything—but nothing came out. It was all too much, too soon.
Bradley stepped closer, closing the space between you, his expression pleading now, vulnerable in a way that made your chest ache.
“I want this with you, I do. But I—” He stopped himself, breathing out like the words were caught in his throat.
You looked at him, really looked at him. You could see the cracks in his façade, the uncertainty that was so unlike the confident man you knew. But even with that vulnerability laid bare, you couldn’t shake the feeling that it was all just words.
“I don’t know if I can do this anymore, Bradley,” you whispered, shaking your head slowly. “I don’t want to be some maybe or could be. I need to know where I stand.”
Bradley’s face fell, his lips parting as if he were about to say something else. But nothing came. He just stood there, looking at you like he was piecing together what he should say next.
“I’m sorry,” he said softly, and for the first time, you saw the true weight of regret in his eyes.
You bit your lip, trying to hold back the emotions that threatened to spill over again. “I don’t think you are, Brad. Not really.”
The air between you both thickened, and you couldn’t take it anymore. Without another word, you stepped back, closing the door gently in his face.
You leaned against the wood, closing your eyes as you heard his footsteps retreat, his presence now a memory.
You were alone again.
And maybe that was how it was always meant to be.
* * * * *
The days dragged on in a haze of quiet frustration and longing. Each morning you woke, the weight of the night’s emotional unraveling clung to you like a second skin. The sun would shine through your window, the world would move forward, but you felt paralyzed by your own hurt, by the thought of Bradley, by the pain of what could have been and what never would be.
You tried to get yourself back on track. You tried to act normal, to resume your routine, but everything seemed to remind you of him. His absence was like a wound that wouldn’t heal, reopening with every corner you turned.
The grocery store was the first hurdle. You knew Bradley went every Monday, and it used to be something the two of you did together. It felt like some unspoken tradition, something that was both ordinary and deeply comforting. But now, it just felt like a reminder of everything that had gone wrong. So you avoided it, switching your shopping day to Tuesday. Even though you knew he wouldn’t be there, the thought of running into him in that same mundane space, where everything felt like a memory, was too much to bear.
The Hard Deck was the next obstacle. The bar where you’d spent so many nights with him, the place where you laughed, argued, and shared quiet moments between chaos. You knew there was more than a 50% chance Bradley was there any given night. The bar, the music, the dim lighting that you once enjoyed felt suffocating now. You could hear his laugh in your mind, could see the glint of his eyes as he grinned across the room. But you refused to risk seeing him, to risk letting the pieces of your heart shatter again. Even when you drove by a few nights, when his Bronco wasn’t parked in its usual spot, you still didn’t stop. What if he had caught a ride? What if he was inside, and you just didn’t know? You couldn’t take the chance. Not when every interaction with him had the potential to destroy you further.
And the texts… the texts never stopped.
At first, they were constant—his messages coming in one after the other, in a rhythm that mirrored his thinking. Morning, noon, and night. He texted like he couldn’t bear the thought of you not knowing what he was doing, where he was. He sent them as soon as he woke up, like he needed to remind you that he was still thinking about you, even if he hadn’t quite figured it out himself. Those morning messages were the hardest to read, because you knew he hadn’t forgotten you. He was still holding on in his own way, but that didn’t change the fact that he hadn’t fought for you when it mattered.
And then came the late-night ones. The ones that were sent in the early hours, long after the world had gone quiet. You would wonder if he was sober when he wrote them, or if he had been drinking, a little too far into his own thoughts and regrets. Those messages were the ones that made your heart ache because they felt like half-baked apologies, like words spoken too late. They didn’t fix anything, they just twisted the knife.
But the ones that hurt the most were always in the middle of the day. The ones sent out of habit, when he was about to head into the sky, the ones that used to bring you a sense of safety, a quiet assurance that no matter what, Bradley always had a way of telling you what he was doing. “Hey, I’m headed up. I’ll be in the air for a couple hours, but I’ll let you know when I’m back on the ground.” It was something that had become routine between the two of you. You never asked for it, but you always appreciated it.
Now, those messages made your stomach drop. You hated the anxiety that came with the first text, the one that told you he was headed into the sky. And you hated the sense of relief you felt when the second one came, telling you he was safely back on the ground. It was stupid. It was pathetic. But no matter how much you tried, you couldn’t stop caring. You couldn’t stop the gnawing feeling in your chest, the pull of wanting to make sure he was okay.
And that’s what drove you mad.
You hated that you still cared. You hated that despite everything, despite his distance and his indecision, you couldn’t make yourself stop thinking about him. You couldn’t make yourself forget Bradley Bradshaw.
Even as you tried to rebuild your life, to find new routines, new places, new things to focus on, it all felt like an illusion. Nothing felt normal anymore. Your world had become a strange, hollow echo of what it used to be. And no matter how hard you tried to avoid him, to erase the pieces of him from your day-to-day life, you couldn’t escape the truth.
You were still in love with him. And you were still waiting for him to make a decision.
But you knew you couldn’t wait forever.
You just didn’t know how to stop.
* * * * *
Two months had passed since that early morning when Bradley stood at your door, and in that time, you’d learned to carry on without him. It wasn’t easy—some days were harder than others—but you were slowly learning how to exist without waiting for his texts, without hoping for him to just show up at your door again.
You still thought about him. Not every day anymore, but almost. And that, you decided, was progress. It didn’t feel like much, but it was something. There were days when the memories of his laugh, the warmth of his hand in yours, didn’t sting quite as badly. And then, there were days like today, when the past came rushing back to you in a way you couldn’t avoid.
It was just a knock on your front door. You weren’t expecting anyone, and yet, when you heard it, you knew something was about to change.
When you opened the door, there she was—Natasha "Phoenix," standing in front of you. Her usual confident demeanor was a little softer today, like she was carrying something heavy that she didn’t want to talk about.
"Hey," she said, her voice low but steady. "Can I come in?"
You nodded, stepping aside to let her in. Something about the way she stood at your door made your chest tighten. It wasn’t just the fact that it was her—it was what she was about to say. You didn’t know how you knew, but you did. You couldn’t remember the last time you’d felt this anxious.
The two of you made your way to the kitchen, where you offered her a drink. She politely declined, settling down at the table. You sat across from her, your hands fidgeting in your lap.
"Everything okay?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper. You weren’t sure why, but you already had a sinking feeling that you weren’t going to like what was coming.
She hesitated for a moment before speaking, her eyes meeting yours. "There’s a mission coming up. I can’t tell you much—it’s classified. But I wanted to let you know that Bradley might be flying it."
Your breath caught in your throat, your heart skipping a beat. You knew this was bad. You could feel it.
"Bradley’s been flying high-risk missions for years," Phoenix continued, her voice steady but firm, "but this one is different. This is the most dangerous mission he’ll have flown. The odds… they’re not good. It will take two miracles happening at the same time for him to get home safely."
You couldn’t breathe. You wanted to stop her, to tell her that you didn’t need to know all the details. But you couldn’t. The words had already come, and they were burning through you.
She leaned forward slightly, her eyes serious. "But there’s something else. Something I need to tell you, woman to woman."
You swallowed hard, trying to brace yourself, though you already felt like you were crumbling.
"Bradley hasn’t been flying with a clear head," Phoenix said, her voice dropping to a more quiet, urgent tone. "Not since the last mission. He’s been distracted, pulled in a thousand different directions. And if he doesn’t fly this one with a clear head… I don’t think he’ll make it back."
The words hit you like a physical blow, and you felt your chest tighten, the air suddenly impossible to breathe.
Bradley hadn’t been okay. He’d been struggling, and you hadn’t even known. You hadn’t been able to help him, to fix whatever had been broken inside of him. But this… this was worse than anything you had imagined.
You stared at Phoenix, your mind reeling. All you could think about was the possibility—the reality—that Bradley might not come home. You had never imagined a world where that could happen. Where you could lose him forever.
And then it hit you—the realization that it was never just about the label. It was about so much more. About how, no matter how much you wanted to be enough for him, you weren’t the one who had mattered enough to him for him to put everything aside, to fight for you. And that was painful. But the thought of him not coming home? That ripped you apart in ways you didn’t know you could be broken.
"Please," you said, the words breaking through the suffocating silence. "Please tell me he’s going to be okay."
Phoenix didn’t answer immediately, her gaze shifting away as if she was trying to find the right words, the right reassurance. But there was nothing she could say.
"I don’t know," she finally said, her voice so low you could barely hear her. "I wish I could tell you otherwise, but I’m not sure. I don’t know if he’s going to be okay."
The words hung in the air between you, suffocating you in their weight. And all you could do was sit there, trying to grasp onto the fragile threads of hope that felt so far out of reach.
It was the hardest thing you’d ever had to hear. The thought of him not coming home, of him being lost to the sky forever—it made your entire world feel like it was unraveling.
You thought you were past him. You thought you could move on, heal, and put him behind you. But now, all you could think about was the future, the one where you would never get to see him again.
It was too much to bear. And you hated it. You hated that you couldn’t walk away from him, that you couldn’t turn your back on the love you had for him—even if it was unspoken, even if it was unfinished. You hated that you couldn’t fix him, couldn’t make him see you the way you needed him to.
But worse than anything, you hated that you might never get the chance to tell him how much you loved him.
Phoenix’s voice cut through the overwhelming weight of your thoughts, pulling you back to the present. "They’re getting on the aircraft carrier at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow," she said, her words steady but carrying a weight you couldn’t ignore. "I’m not asking you to come. I’m not asking you to talk to him. That decision’s up to you."
You felt a lump rise in your throat, the tightness in your chest making it hard to breathe. She wasn’t asking you to go to him, but she wasn’t telling you not to, either. The choice was yours, but it felt more like a trap than an option.
For a moment, the only sound in the room was the quiet hum of the fridge in the corner. Phoenix didn’t seem to expect anything from you, but you could feel the gravity of the situation pulling you under. You didn’t know what you wanted, what you were supposed to want. All you knew was that Bradley was flying, and there was a real possibility he might not come back.
You swallowed, blinking back the tears that threatened to rise. "Thank you for telling me," you said quietly, your voice betraying the emotional weight you were carrying. "I—I don’t know what to do with this. But I appreciate you coming to me."
Phoenix gave you a nod, her face unreadable. "Just make sure you take care of yourself, alright? Whatever you decide."
You didn’t know what that meant. Taking care of yourself? How were you supposed to do that when the person who had occupied every corner of your mind was potentially flying into danger?
She stood up, her movements deliberate. "I’ll leave you to think about it," she said softly, her tone still serious but warm. "Take your time. But just know, whatever happens tomorrow, you’re not the only one who cares about him."
You nodded, not trusting your voice enough to say anything else.
She left then, and the silence in the room was deafening. The weight of her words, the knowledge of Bradley’s upcoming mission—it all settled like a stone in your stomach. You wanted to scream, wanted to run to him and beg him to stay, to take care of himself, to put everything on hold until he could figure it out. But you didn’t know if that would even make a difference. You didn’t know if anything would.
You sat there for a long while after Phoenix left, staring at the kitchen table as your mind raced, desperately trying to put the pieces together. Could you let him go again? Could you really do it?
Your phone sat on the counter, and you found yourself staring at it, knowing the texts from Bradley would come soon. They always did. But you didn’t reach for it. Not yet. You couldn’t bring yourself to open that door again, to let him back into your heart when you were still so unsure of everything—of what he felt, of what you felt, of whether or not he’d make it home.
And then, as the evening wore on, you found yourself pacing the apartment. You didn’t know what you should do. You didn’t know what to feel. Should you show up tomorrow morning? Should you see him off? Should you do what you’d always done—pretend like everything was fine, like nothing had ever changed? Or should you face the reality of it all, admit to yourself that you might never see him again?
The decision was suffocating. You were pulled in two directions, unsure of what the right choice was. Every part of you ached to see him one last time, to tell him what you had never said. But part of you wondered if you were just chasing something that had already slipped through your fingers.
And so, you sat with it, the uncertainty eating at you, and waited. Tomorrow would come, and with it, the moment when you would have to decide whether you could let him go—or whether you would risk it all to see him one last time.
* * * * *
The morning air was cool, but the nerves gnawing at you kept your body warm as you pulled into the parking lot at 6:15. You wanted to be here early—too early maybe—but you couldn’t take the chance of missing him. It had been two months since you last saw Bradley, and now, you had no choice but to face everything you’d been running from.
The lot began to fill as you sat in your car, watching people say their goodbyes—families, friends, all of them hugging and holding on to each other a little longer than usual. Each goodbye seemed to break something inside you, a reminder of what could be lost, of what you had once had and might not again.
And then you heard it. The familiar rumble of an engine. Your heart skipped a beat as you glanced to your right and saw it—the Bronco—pulling in next to you. You didn’t even have to look twice. You knew it was him.
For a split second, your eyes locked through the windshield, the kind of silent exchange that spoke volumes. Neither of you moved for a beat, the weight of everything unsaid hanging between you like a thick fog.
You didn’t know who moved first, but before you knew it, the car doors opened, and you were walking around the front of the Bronco to where Bradley stood.
There was a long pause, the air between you thick with everything you were both carrying. Your lips parted first.
“I’m sorry,” you said, the words coming out choked and raw. “I’ve been… so messed up, Bradley. I’ve been pushing you away and—” You stopped yourself, your chest tightening as emotion swelled. “I didn’t mean it. I just… I don’t know what to do anymore.”
Bradley’s jaw clenched, his gaze turning hard with guilt before he stepped toward you, cutting you off.
“No, I’m the one who should be apologizing,” he said, his voice low but raw, full of regret. “I took you for granted. I lost you.”
The tears you thought you had already shed seemed to fall again at the sound of his words, and before you could stop yourself, you felt the sting of them, hot and sudden, blurring your vision.
His hands were on you then, pulling you into his arms, warm and solid. He was trying to comfort you, but it only hurt more, the realization that he knew—he knew it was his fault. The pain you’d been carrying had finally broken through, and you couldn’t help it. You cried harder into his chest, unable to control it.
Bradley’s arms tightened around you, his own breath shaky as he pressed his cheek against the top of your head. You could feel the way his body shook with something deeper than just the coolness of the morning air.
And then, between sobs, you whispered it—the thing you’d been holding in, the thing you needed him to hear.
"I love you."
There was no hesitation. No stiffening, no pulling away, just him pulling you closer, if that was even possible.
His voice was rough when he replied, “I love you too, sweets. So damn much.”
The world seemed to stop then, everything else fading into the background as Bradley’s words sank in. The walls you’d built around yourself felt like they were crumbling as the words you’d longed to hear washed over you, finally, finally making everything feel right again.
But even then, the worry gnawed at you, pulling you from the moment. Your voice trembled as you looked up at him, hands gripping his shirt tight, “Come back to me. Please… come back alive.”
His hand cupped your face, his thumb brushing away a tear that had slipped down your cheek. He hesitated for a moment, his eyes searching yours.
“I promise,” he said quietly, and you believed him.
But then, as if the weight of the moment suddenly hit him too, Bradley pulled back just enough to look at you fully.
There was something in his eyes, something that made your heart beat faster as he asked, “Will you be here when I get back? Will you wait for me?”
You nodded quickly, the answer spilling out of you before you could even think about it. “Yes,” you whispered, breathless. “I’ll be here.”
Bradley’s gaze softened, a hint of relief flashing across his face, and then he leaned in, his lips finding yours in a kiss that was desperate and filled with everything you both had been holding back for so long. His arms wrapped around you tighter, and before you could process what was happening, his hands were lifting you off the ground, your thighs instinctively wrapping around his waist as he pulled you closer, his lips never leaving yours.
You heard the whistling before you could think about it, the sound of someone teasing. Maybe it was Jake. Maybe it was Coyote. Maybe even Bob, though it didn’t matter. None of it mattered because all you could feel, all you could think about, was the heat of Bradley’s kiss, the way his arms made you feel safe and wanted, the way he was home in a way nothing else could ever be.
In that moment, there was no question—no more uncertainty, no more fear. You were with him. And that was all that mattered.

"I'll be right back, why don't you find us a movie?" You watched as Sam made his way to the bathroom.
You were up in a second, digging through his drawers in hopes of finding what you were looking for. You scoured his dresser with no luck before turning to his bedside table.
A smile spread across your face when you opened the drawer and were met with the site of Sam's stash of your panties, 5 to be exact. You giggled to yourself, grabbing a pair and closing the drawer.
You quickly walked over to Sam's collection of VHSs, pretending to choose a movie for you two to watch. One movie caught your eye, Thief (1981). You wanted to burst into laughter but stopped when you heard approaching footsteps.
"What did you decide on?" Sam took a seat on the edge of the bed looking in your direction.
"How about this one?" you tossed the box over to him.
He caught it, looking at the cover then back at you, "Thief? In a James Caan mood?" He chuckled to himself.
You smiled at him, "I just think it's appropriate."
Confusion spread across his face, and he let out a breathy laugh, "What do you mean?"
"Oh, I think you know." You brought your hand in front of you revealing the panties you took from his drawer, the lacy cloth dangled between your fingers.
"Uhh- what are you- I mean why are you-"
"Sam, have you been stealing my panties?" You tried your best to hide the smirk threatening your lips.
"I- umm... I don't know what you're talking about..." He thought about his words and quickly backtracked, "I-I mean wh-why do you think they're yours? I have... girls over all the time..." Sam's eyes drifted to the ceiling, cringing at his words.
"Sam, I know for a fact these are mine, just like the others in your drawer are also mine." You nodded in the direction of the nightstand.
"Fuck... I- I uhh... Fuck..." He shook his head. You were on to him; you had seen the others and there was no use in trying to cover his tracks. He was spiraling. What would you think of him? Would you hate him? Of course you would!
You looked at the purple lace in your hand, "What do you do with them?"
Your words broke him out of his spiral, "Wha-What?" Were you seriously asking him that?
"You heard me," you toss a pair at him before walking over to stand right in front of him, your eyes staring down into worried pools of blue.
He swallowed thickly. "I-I... Look, I'm sorry! I won't do it again! We can just forget this ever happened..."
"Sam," you bent at the waist, leaning in closer to his ear, "Answer my question."
At this point, he was fighting for his life. Half the blood in his body was flushing his cheeks while the other half went straight to his cock. "Please don't make me admit to this shit..."
"I won't ask again." your voice sounded so different, much more stern, demanding, and God was it hot!
"Fuck... fine! I jerk off with them... I'll wrap them around my dick, or... shove them in my mouth." He covered his face with his hands falling back on his bed. "I'm a sick pervert and I understand if you never want to speak to me again..."
"So would you steal just any girl's panties?" Sam swore he could hear a touch of disappointment in your voice. "Wha-What?" He looked up at you in confusion. "Well, no I..." You fought the smile that threatened to grace your lips, "What makes mine so special?"
"I- umm, well I..." he refused to meet your gaze.
You took his stuttering as an opportunity and climbed onto the bed before maneuvering yourself so your legs were on either side of his hips. Your skirt began to ride up, exposing more of your thighs and you could feel his cock straining against his jeans.
His eyes shot open, "Fuck..." he had never seen anything so perfect; he had imagined you in this position a million times, but his imagination could never live up to the real things.
Your voice once again brought him out of his thoughts, "Do you like me, Sammy?"
He spoke before he had a chance to think his words though. "Of course I do! I've liked you since you moved in next door..."
Did he seriously just confess to his best friend that he liked her?
Sam wanted to cry out of embarrassment and fear. Embarrassment that he just confessed to being an absolute pervert and liking his best friend, and fear that this would cause him to lose you.
When his gaze found yours again, he was greeted with the sight of you biting your lip and smiling. He stared at you in confusion and disbelief. He figured you would be running for the hills, not straddling him and giggling. "Why are you laughing and not freaking out? Also, why are you on my lap? It's really not helping this situation..."
You leaned forward, maintaining your gaze as you rested your head on his chest, "Sammy, I've known for a while that you've been taking them."
"Yo-you've known?!" He tried not to focus on your body being pressed up against his, or the softness of your breast, or the smell of your perfume, of how he wanted nothing more than to kiss you…
"Mhm. At first, I thought I was crazy, so I started leaving them out on purpose. A little experiment. A pair on the floor of my bathroom, another meticulously placed just outside the hamper. Lo and behold, each time you came over they were gone."
"If you knew then why didn't you say anything?!" It had been well over a month since he started this perverted escapade, and not only did you know but you were practically encouraging it.
"I was waiting for the right time," you paused trying to hide a smile, "and I also needed proof."
His gaze met yours, his mouth felt dry, “And now that you have your proof..?”
A smirk came to your lips. You leaned down, your chest pressing into him even more while your lips brushed against the shell of his ear. “I find you guilty of theft Sam Monroe.” You felt Sam waver under you, on edge as he anticipated your next words. “And I think you deserve punishment. And I think I deserve retribution.”
“P-punishment…?” Sam didn't know how to feel. Turned on? Yes, beyond turned on. He had never seen you like this so in control and demanding.
Rather than respond to his question you chose to lick the shell of his ear before moving to his neck, biting and sucking at the sensitive skin.
Sam didn't recognize the needy sounds that were coming from him. Whimpers escaped his lips as you continued your torturous pursuits.
His hands appeared to tease their way under your skirt. However, the moment he was able to feel your soft flesh under his fingertips, your assault on his neck stopped.
"When did I say you were allowed to touch me, Sammy?"
"Fuck, you can't be serious...?"
You lifted your body slightly so your eyes could meet his. "Dead serious." You leaned in, lips so close to his own but not quite touching. "Punishment and retribution." Your breath ghosted over his skin. "If you don't want it, I'll stop. But if you do, and I have a feeling you do, you'll have to beg for it."
A small part of you was anxious, worried that Sam would take the out you had given him. But those fears were quelled by desperate words.
"God, please let me touch you... I'll do anything! I'll be good, I promise... I jus- I just want to make you feel good... Please!"
You had wanted to hold out longer, really make him beg for it. But the need in his voice propelled you forward, connecting your lips to his. His were softer than you expected and he tasted like cigarettes and mint gum.
Sam wasted no time placing his warm hands back under your skirt, reviling at your softness and grabbing at the exposed skin of your thighs, causing your skirt to hike up even more.
You couldn't help but grind your hips against his. He let out a soft groan and your tongue took that as an invitation, dipping into his mouth. The muscles swirled together, feeding off the need you felt for one another.
You could feel Sam's hand tug at your shirt slightly. When you pulled back from him, a sting of saliva connected your lips. You took the opportunity to remove the unnecessary clothing item, revealing the purple lacy bra underneath.
Sam couldn't help but look up at you in awe. You looked like a goddess atop her thrown and he begged whatever deity that might exist that he could forever be that thrown. "God, your so fucking hot..."
You smiled biting your lip at the comment, “What do you want, Sammy.”
His hips bucked slightly upwards as his fingers played with the hem of your skirt, skimming the soft skin of your thighs. His eyes met yours, hoping this would suffice as an answer to your question.
“Use your words, baby.”
“Fuck..." he bit out, "You, I want you…”
You didn't respond. Instead deciding to look down on him and wait for a proper response.
He looked away out of embarrassment. "C-can I taste you?"
"Good boy." You removed yourself from his lap, removing your skirt to reveal matching lace panties.
Before you could make your way back to the bed, Sam was on his knees in front of you, looking up with dark, pleading eyes.
"Look at you... so desperate to please me?"
All Sam could do was nod his head before looking at your clothed core. "Yes, please..."
"Go ahead, baby. Make me feel good."
Without hesitation, Sam pushes himself between your legs, inhaling your sweet scent before kissing the lacy fabric that leaves little to the imagination.
He kissed the fabric a few more times before pulling it slowly down your legs. A low 'fuck' leaves his lips before he is attacking your core. Kissing, licking, and sucking on the sensitive bundle of nerves.
Your fingers rake through his dark hair, pulling him in closer and grinding yourself against his face.
During his assault, Sam's hand found its way to your already-soaked hole. The tip of his index finger traces your entrance. He wasn't doing it to tease you, but rather waiting for you to tell him he could.
"Mmmm-fuck, Sam...!" Your grip on his hair tightened and he took this as permission.
His long digits took no time at all, curling inside you and finding the soft spot inside you that made your legs shake and your body feel like is crumbling beneath you. "Yes! Right there," you gasp.
Sam was in a trance. Your taste, your scent, the noises you were making, all had him on edge and he had yet to touch himself.
You could feel his hips buck against one of your legs as he reviled in the taste of you on his tongue and a bit of friction on his cock.
He could tell you were close. Your silken walls contract around his finger and he supports more and more of your weight as your legs start to give out. The pace of his hips increased as he tried to chase his high with you.
Your moans went silent as your body curled into him, the band in your stomach seconds away from snapping. "Oh God!"
Sam looked up just in time to watch you cum and he was met with a heavenly image that would play over and over in his head for the rest of his life. He felt a flood of your juices coat his face just as he came undone in his boxers.
You fell forward, trying and failing to support yourself.
Sams's fingers made their exit before his hands firmly held your hips and led you to sit on the bed.
You expected him to undo his own pants, wanting you to return the favor. When he didn’t you could only look at him with curiosity and a little confusion, "Do you want me to help you out...?"
"Umm... actually I'm already taken care of..." He stood, looking at the floor, far too embarrassed to witness your reaction.
You couldn't help the tired giggle that escaped your lips, "Like me that much, huh?"
"More than you know..." He mumbled as he shifted uncomfortably in his now damp boxers.
Your head fell back against his pillows, "Well then, I guess you'll have to explain it to me."
You watched as a not so subtle nervousness took over his features, "In due time, of course."
You reached over to his nightstand, grabbing a clean pair of stolen panties to replace the damp ones currently residing on Sam’s bedroom floor. "Why don't you clean yourself up and we can get back to our movie night?"
Sam bit his lip and stared at his white ceiling. "Yeah okay..." Was all he said before bolting out of his room.
While in the bathroom his mind was spiraling, hoping that this wasn't a dream or even worse a mistake. Sam liked you a lot. Hell, he loved you but he was not ready to admit it to himself. But when he found you with open arms, clad only in his t-shirt, and still on his bed, his anxiety seemed to melt away.
He crawls on top of you, head resting between your breasts. You couldn't help but kiss the top of his head and whisper into his hair, "I like you too, Sammy."
As always, feedback, likes, comments, and reblogs are appreciated!
