Since Tim the bastard is sadomasochist, I feel like him and a reader who is very caring and worries a lot about those she loves; would be really interesting. The first time he comes to you after a fight, he doesn't do it on purpose. He just got the shit beat out of him. Everything aches and stings, and the blood dripping from his forehead makes it impossible to see. And he doesn't go home. It's just pure instinct that guides him to you.

And it's the best thing he ever does. You take him in with loving worry, cleaning and dressing his wounds. You're crying as you take care of him, as you feed him and tuck him into your bed. You don't even notice the deep inhale he takes of your pillow's scent. You're just too busy worrying about him. He's so used to taking care of himself after days like this, that the comparison is impossible. Dizzying, heavenly, addictive. He feels like he's going to faint, but it's probably just from blood loss.

Anyway, you've unknowingly created a monster after that. He will take more risks, he will lean into hits, and sometimes he just simply won't dodge. All just so he hurts a bit more, all so he comes back to you worse for wear. He realises this is bad for you, putting you through so much emotional turmoil but it's just... You're too pretty like that, okay? And he can patch you back together. He can fix whatever he breaks. Takes so much pleasure from these moments, and even the family can tell he's baiting fights more, letting himself get hurt worse. They think it's a form of self-harm or something but he's just being a massive pervert.

The first time you discover his erection when you're cleaning the blood from his face, he realises maybe he should've thought this through better. Still wonders if he could convince you to get him off anyway.

what really hurt me was how many people said “it’s unfair theyre making us pay for something we never wanted!” that stupid “all we wanted was you” post went around as if the commenter was in the right, but like. Fuck man. I can’t imagine the feeling of putting your heart and soul into something, putting all this effort in, only for the people who for years had been telling you they loved it to turn around and say all that work was something they never wanted in the first place. That it means nothing to them, and that you’re a piece of shit for assuming some people did.

Like I understand some people can’t afford it, but The amount of people outright saying that their work and passion was worse than worthless, and that they’re idiots for assuming their fans liked their work, made me feel horrible and I’m not even the one creating it.

i cant even know how much it hurts to hear that their hard work is utterly worthless to many people. and this isnt even remotely comparable, but i love editing videos. it’s what i like to do as a hobby and i love posting them for people to enjoy. but sometimes it hurts when i dont get the traction or reactions i want. thankfully, i havent gotten anything negative. so i’m just imagining how painful it must be to hear that their creative work, something they enjoy putting effort in and want to improve in, doesn’t mean anything to the community they entrusted their work with.

So my absolute all-time unbeatable favorite is “It’s Gorgug. Keep going.” I shit you not I cry basically every time I think about that moment and the subsequent description from Brennan of everyone alone and scared in the woods having a moment of relief and strength and calm because their friend is out there for them I mean COME ON 😭😭😭

#2 is DEFINITELY Hilda Hilda, holy shit I made the mistake of watching that episode while doing a treadmill workout and I COULD NOT breath. That bit almost killed me and it would have been worth it.

#3 is probably everything to do with the shrimp party bit lmao, that was SO wild and so funny 😂

#4 (because I decided to do a ranked top 5 to keep myself from just ranting endlessly lol) has gotta be “When you’re here, you’re family. It’s called being gay” lmao, I want that on a poster and a t-shirt and a hat and everything in between

And there’s literally so many other amazing moments that I could rant about forever, but for now I’m gonna say #5 is probably when Brennan went “alright let’s go down the line and everybody say what your greatest fear is” or however he worded it, it was SO funny and such a nice break in the middle of some very very serious stuff for the characters. Like what a fucked up, DM-specific question 😂😂

(Also extra special bonus for when Ragh says he eats glass. Especially because it’s not totally clear if he’s saying that to support Fabian or if he actually, canonically does that by accident sometimes 😂)

my favorite movie is “eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.” it’s soooooo shvdnevebeb (many different emotions at the same time). i think what keeps me coming back to it is this idea of going back to that person you chose to erase from your memory in the first place, but the bond is so strong you just… find your back back to them again? i’m a hopeless romantic as you may have already noticed

omg i’d love to travel to england/ireland/the us/any english-speaking country actually lol. for my 15th birthday i was supposed to travel to london but then it never happened 😭 nowadays i wish i could be able to spend a term studying abroad though it’s too expensive 💔

i’ve been thinking about love non-stop since i was 8??? 10??? my first attempts at writing were stories about me and the boy from school i liked. there’s nothing that i write that doesn’t involve love in at least one of its various forms. i truly think it’s one of the things i wish to experience most: pure love (it sounds so cheesy i’m sorry 😭). to this day fanfiction serves as the means to fall in love with the fictional men i love, so i’d call that my inspiration 💪🏻

I'm currently neck-deep in the literature for my Master's thesis and reading about how neural networks are really built and how we can use vectors to represent words to then build a neural machine translation model. I don't think, I'll have to explain in detail how it works (cause it's not easy to explain) but I need to write my own definition of neural MT and human translation for my experiment. Complicated shit and I hate myself for choosing this topic rn 😂

hey hey!! i was looking for the exact same thing, something discreet, quiet and easy to hide. That’s why i chose the one i did because it is quite small and i can just fold it in between my clothes and it doesn’t make much noise. I use mine in the shower, not only because that’s the only place i can use but just to be more than sure that no one can hear the noise of it <3 and about the courage thing trust me you’ll be fine, i was practically shitting myself in the back of Spencer’s bc it felt like everyone was staring at me and judging me, but we are all adults and self pleasure shouldn’t be anything to be ashamed of <3 also also if you are to worried abt going to the shops and buying a toy you can order one but get it delivered to your friends house or something like that but i know that’s not always an option :/

I wonder how the batboys would be with a reader with a MAJOR interest in foreign languages. I'm not just talking about knowing several languages, I'm talking about a reader who's also capable of using the basics of so many languages that people don't really tend to learn or even know exist (can you imagine casually speaking Burmese or Catalan in front of the boys??), and they know how to read numerous writing systems. Imagine if the Reader's room is just full of language textbooks and their phone is full of language apps

They'd be incredibly impressed, of course. They all know their fair share of languages, considering their job/hobby/personal exercise routine, but the level of effort and care you put in is astounding.

Tim, despite himself, immediately gets competitive about it. He needs to be on the same level as you, and understand you in all ways. And if you love something as much as you love languages, he needs to love it the same way too. So, get ready for quizzes and competitions galore. He probably adds you on Duolingo, even if you didn't give him your contact details, the little stalker. He wants to win (you).

Dick's absolutely over the moon if you decide to research his family's preferred dialect of Romani. He'll happily teach you and you'll have many quiet, whispered conversations together. The language is quite romantic (it is actually a romance language), just like he is, and he probably starts flirting with you all the time in Romani. Just, constantly hitting on you, but in a way only you can understand, so he doesn't get too embarrassed. Flirt back using his mother tongue, and you'll have a swooning Dick Grayson on your hands.

Damian sees this as a grand opportunity to invite you closer into his space. His family has connections in all of the Middle East and further, and he's got access to thousands of ancient documents in hundreds of languages. Is very smug every time you ask him for his help or a book you think he might have. Which, of course, he does. Even if he doesn't he'll have it soon, so don't go asking the others, alright?
