Microwave-induced pyrolysis: A promising solution for recycling electric cables

The demand for electronics has led to a significant increase in e-waste. In 2022, approximately 62 million tons of e-waste were generated, marking an 82% increase from 2010. Projections indicate that this figure could rise to 82 million tons by 2030. E-waste contains valuable materials such as metals, semiconductors, and rare elements that can be reused. However, in 2022, only 22.3% of e-waste was properly collected and recycled, while the remaining materials, estimated to be worth almost $62 billion, were discarded in landfills. Although efforts to improve e-waste recycling continue, the process remains labor-intensive, and a significant portion of e-waste is exported to developing countries, where cheap labor supports informal recycling practices involving hazardous chemicals.

While we're still mourning the loss of Loki after its big ending, that doesn't mean that it's completely over just yet. In fact, Loki, along with some of your other Disney faves, are getting some brand new new looks thanks to their upcoming home releases.

Cosmopolitan has an exclusive featurette from the new collector's edition steelbook of Loki season 2, which is set to be released on December 3. One of the best parts about owning a copy of your favorite TV show and movie is getting to watch some of the behind-the-scenes moments that you can't watch anywhere else. And while we got to see a bit of what went down in Assembled: The Making of Loki Season 2 documentary, there's some parts that still didn't make it including the iconic gag reel that will definitely help heal your heart a bit after the show's emotional ending.

From Owen Wilson accidentally saying Mobius when referring to Loki to all the amazing dances that went down on set, we're actually insanely jealous that we weren't there to witness this all firsthand. At least we know that they had some fun while making the season.
