Sonic self-insert concept update

Usually when I draw my characters I restrict them to what I’m comfortable wearing or what fits their occupation. This is one of the first times I’ve focused less on “functional” or “practical” and leaned more into aesthetic. This is not the final version but the current design I’ll use for art of her.

I first created her back in 2022. Changed her name and some characteristics on her design... Say hello to Oracle Hoo, the ferret doll, protector of the soul gem that allows her to turn into a real mobian ferret! She's also in love with Silver because I can't let oc x canon behind lmaooo

anywayss they started working at the mean bean when it was still owned by karen and were kept on as an employee when ownership changed to agent stone. (im learning everythign i know about how ownership changed hands from the fucking wiki so be kind 2 me sorry for being a fake fan but im a real lover)

they have a workplace crush on stone because he's literally a cutie and develop a sort of begrudging crush on robotnik when he returns because something is wrong with them.

agent stone keeps them around even after the shop becomes robotnik headquarters because even though they are kind of useless they are loyal and diligent.

I just watched Sonic 3, I love Shadow so here is me annoying Shadow. All the time I was drawing I was playing in my mind lovefool by the cardigans

I was also gonna make a cow version and a rat version so I could choose which one I liked best, but nahhhh, I'm settling with the cocker spaniel gal :3

My first ever drawing of her is gonna stay forever a secret cuz she looks kind of bald in it 👀

At first I was just gonna make her fur black cuz I have black hair and all (though my mom and my best friend are convinced it's actually a really dark brown, which is so lame honestly) and make her clothes black too with varying shades of dark blue. And then I realized it would look kind of ugly .__.

So now her fur is dark blue so I can give her as many black clothes as my heart desires -w-

I pray that that looks cool cuz I'm NOT gonna color her

Now I'm gonna make videos like these but with Shadow instead of Sonic
