A portrait of Fernando and Sofía (née Palazuelo), The Duke and Duchess of Huéscar with their eldest daughter Rosario, is being displayed at Palacio de Las Duenas in Seville. Sofia is wearing the Alba Ducal Coronet. The Duke and Duchess have recently welcomed their second child, Sofia.

There is a new exhibition called 'La Moda en la Casa de Alba/The Fashion in the House of Alba' at Palacio de Liria in Madrid from October 19th to March 31st. It covers two centuries of the family through their fashion with designs by Charles Frederick Worth, Louise Chéruit, Cristóbal Balenciaga, Flora Villareal, Manuel Pertegaz, and Enmanuel Húngaro. The exhibition includes dresses worn by Empress Eugénie of France, also the Countess of Montijo, and the wedding dresses of Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart, 18th Duchess of Alba, Eugenia Martínez de Irujo, 12th Duchess of Montoro, and Sofía Palazuelo Barroso, Duchess of Huéscar. You can find out more about visiting here.
There are no jewels on display due to security concerns and the cost of insuring them but I noticed in the background of one of the pictures is a portrait of the Duchess of Huéscar wearing the Alba Strawberry Leaf Coronet.
It looks like it was part of the same photo session as the portrait that was found to be on display at Palacio de las Dueñas in Seville in January.
I need to see a better quality picture of Sofia wearing the tiara!
Strawberry leaf ducal-style coronets are very popular amongst Spanish nobility. The one is made of emeralds, diamonds, and pearls and was supposedly a gift from Empress Eugénie to her sister, María Francisca de Sales de Palafox Portocarrero y Kirkpatrick, 16th Duchess of Peñaranda de Duero, wife of the 15th Duke of Alba. Here it is worn by María del Rosario Falcó y Osorio, 21st Countess of Siruela, and María del Rosario de Silva y Gurtubay, 9th Marchioness of San Vicente del Barco, wives of the 16th and 17th Dukes respectively.
Of course it was most famously worn by María del Rosario Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart y Silva, 18th Duchess of Alba, and most titled person in the world before she passed away in 2014.
If anyone goes to the exhibition and is able to get better shot of the portrait, I would very much appreciate if you would send it to me.

Mompó (1927-1990) was one of the most prominent mid-twentieth-century figures in Spain linked to abstraction. Born in Valencia, Spain, he studied at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios of Valencia and the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes of Valencia before traveling to Paris where he met Eduardo Chillida and Pablo Palazuelo. Influenced by Informalism and Abstract Expressionism, Mompó's work serves as an interpretation of landscapes and he has stated: "I paint loose shapes surrounded by white that exist and can subsist in liberty, while wholly participating with nature." In 1968 he was selected for the Venice Biennale where he won the UNESCO Prize. His work is held in the permanent collections of the Museo Reina Sofia, Madrid and the Museum of Fine Arts, Valencia, among others.

“Sofia Palazuelo is so stunning! If Spain had an adjective similar to the one used in England for beautiful women, "English rose", then Sofia would certainly be considered a "Spanish rose".” - Submitted by cenacevedo15

I know it seems silly but can you google both Alessandra de Osma Hanover, Sofia Palazuelo and other royals and share what outfits you like and dislike? I'm trying to build my wardrobe and I love seeing things from a different perspective
Let me start by saying, I don't know any thing about these women so this post is just about their fashion.
Also....Oh My God. I think I have found my new style icon. It will take me some time to research her but from the little I have seen, I am obsessed. This green dress is stunning.
Now....Sofia Palazuelo who is STUNNING btw. It was harder to find good pictures of her outfits. From what I did find she also has great style, but leans more towards chic and quirky? I think I like Alessandra's style more.

Hello my dear! A while ago I asked you about the engagement rings of Alessandra de Osma and Elisabetta Rosboch. Thanks again! Elisabetta's ring is stunning and it reminds me the one of Queen Margrethe. Do you by chance have photos of the engagement ring of Sofia Palazuelo, the duchess of Huescar? Thank you so much! ♥️
You’re welcome! I don’t always like toi et moi rings because they can be clunky but I think Elisabetta’s is really nice.
I can’t find any pictures of the Duchess of Huéscar’s engagement ring. In the pictures of her since the wedding she just wears a simple gold wedding band and before the wedding I couldn’t find any rings. Perhaps she doesn’t like to wear rings? Personally I really dislike the feeling of wearing rings even thin ones.
I was disappointed that she didn’t wear a tiara but I have to begrudgingly admit that her headpiece was probably the right choice for her gown. The whole look was simple yet stunning.
If you had described to me the huge train and how it was attached I would say that I wouldn’t like it but it in actuality it was beautiful.
The groom’s mother did pull through and wear her family’s Motilla Sapphire Tiara as a necklace.
There will be another wedding in the family soon because Carlos Fitz-James Stuart, Count of Osorno, got engaged to Belén Corsini de Lacalle in September. The tiaras in the family are quite large but I’m hoping that she gives one of them a try. There’s also the bracelet tiara that Genoveva Casanova wore when she married the late Duchess of Alba’s youngest son, Cayetano, Duke of Arjona, in 2005 so that may be a more wearable tiara option. I’m not sure who inherited it or if the person was willing to loan it to brides in the family.
I really need to take a deep dive into the Alba tiaras because I don’t have posts on any of them. They’ve been on my to do list for ages.
