#sims #ts3 #sims 3 #photoshoots #character verse #lydia fletcher #I'm back babey I installed ts3 on my new laptop and it's SO SMOOTH #I firmly believe if it was that smooth before I wouldn't have had a burnout #because I was attempting all these heavy saves and increasingly growing frustrated especially with cas #please let me go back in time and play all the legacies and BCs I played in the past on this laptop #idk if it's my processor or smooth patch working or idk but thank heavens I only hope I can get my mojo back #also lydia deserved a solo photoshoot long ago she was infamous in melverse for not having one #despite her being literally the best character in the verse #I think she played a role into bringing it back into place #she's so effortlessly chaotic #also fun fact her middle name is lacey because I sometimes do little callbacks to the old legacy and they had a sister named lacey there #who didn't survive to see the character verse #but also because lydia lacey and irene hayley?? iconic #definitely felicity naming them

#today i vacuumed a Bunch of fixtures & replaced ALL the upstairs lightbulbs with warm LEDs instead of harsh white ones #and uninstalled the weird insufficient peg rack in the bathroom & spackled all the holes #and installed two new (normal) towel rods #and did a bunch of online shopping for more house things like coated steel clotheslines for the pulley system i'm setting up #and put away one of the three giant piles of clothes on my floor #and showered #i'm just so weary #first time using spackle & damn that shit is magical #$5 putty knife and it goes on So smooth #i am gonna get a LOT of practice bc the previous owners put nails for art EVERYWHERE #personal #my house in the middle of my street

benchmark varha has arrived

not mad at it tbh, like now her vanilla face is fine? i don't love it but it's fine, i don't think this is visually jarring to the point I'll have to wait for mods to come back before i play :p wish i was able to see how the actual vanilla hair i use looks, but it's lyse's hair and the benchmark only had the basic choices. ive still got a fantasia in my inventory i might use to adjust some stuff later on, but overall yeah, im fine with this. i think the biggest improvement overall would be the jaw options, like im actually allowed to have some facial structure this time around. also i genuinely forgot how fucking Big the keeper pupils were hjgdf

i Do miss my hair & eyes already but im sure the mods will be up & running soon enough after the full release lmao + it's not like i won't be able to re-watch cutscenes later anyway

& just for fun here's a comparison between the three versions. new, old, modded in that order. not like,,, the best shots probably lmao, but i think you can see what i mean about the face shape. i don't know if the skintone itself has been altered or if it's just a side effect of the lighting changes either.

i never had ts4 on this desktop before but i finally installed it with all my cc shoved in. it takes under a min to load up &enter my saved game which is wild because i have about 80gb.
