Platinum is kinda interesting bc I have no idea what the hell they were going for with her. Like I know pastiche-ing anime tropes was kind of a thing at least in the beginning, like Ragna being the edgelord who's actually kind of a softie and Jin being the shining knight who's actually a huge homicidal douchebag, and lampooning magical girls as a genre was kind of a thing at the time, but Platinum isn't even all that subversive? Like aesthetic-wise she plays the whole thing straight, she's just a little asshole and says slurs for no reason. Is that meant to be the subversion? They couldn't even be bothered to toss in some of the edgy hyperviolent stuff that people kept slapping onto their 'subverted' magical girls? They couldn't give her a gun or something to show how 'mature' it's supposed to be? Because otherwise there's just a pretty straightforward magical girl character plopped into an otherwise ill-fitting backdrop and the more I look at her the more I wonder what she's even here for??

and dont forget the random incessant instances of her calling ragna a pedophile thats supposed to be played for humor somehow in some world bc lord knows i sure cant literally any time they encounter each other in story mode or fight . my fucking god that bit is bad and is often the biggest reason i can never recommend blazblue to anyone

OOH UM good question i don't think i've ever actually thought about that

i generally don't give much emphasis/thought to spices/seasonings etc so i guess my answer would just be Salt. can't go wrong with that (cinnamon is rlly good too in baking not in like spicy candy or whatever)

i do know my least favorite herb though: basil (why does it smell like that)
