So, we start off, as usual with Mario. I will be going in order from introduction, starting with the assets from the N64 version. I'll start Melee soon with Peach, but then I'll loop back after Sora in Ultimate to do the N64 fighters with Melee assets. Each wallpaper will have two versions, one with the logo over the text for artistic purposes, then one with the logo under the text for accessibility purposes.

👊 We all love a good beating in Smash Bros. Getting together with friends and spending hours bruising your favorite characters is unmatched. No matter which is your favorite Smash, you can pick up and play any of them, and you’ll have just as much fun.

But let’s talk a bit more about the beginning of the saga. Nothing like pitting two characters against each other to determine who’s the best for the first time. Mario against Kirby, who is the master of platforms?; Link versus Samus, rudimentary weapons or futuristic ones?; Conker versus Goemon, who is… wait, Conker? Goemon?! That’s right! This is not a retrospective, but we’ll talk about the mod of the moment: Smash Remix, an expansion mod for Smash 64.

🔍 What it’s about: Smash Remix is a great project with a lot of passion and care from fans dedicated to what they do. One of the best aspects of this mod is the abundance of content you’ll find: new and popular stages, countless gameplay options that you can customize to your liking, and of course, new characters! Among these, some are seen in subsequent titles, such as Sonic, King Dedede, Wolf, Lucas, and more. Only characters from other games? Of course not! You’ll also find some completely original and new to the battlefield, like the aforementioned Conker from Conker’s Bad Fur Day, Goemon from Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, Marina from Mischief Makers, and the more recent Peppy Hare and Slippy Toad from Star Fox. Now you can make your dream come true to see who is the strongest member of the space animal team!

⚙️ How to play? Certainly, the easiest way to play is on your computer by patching the ROM and using an emulator. The developers recommend Project64KSE, which you can get from here: https://smash64.online You can obtain the original ROM from… somewhere! Remember, kids: Piracy is illegal, and you definitely shouldn’t search for it on Google. Once you get your ROM, which you legally extracted yourself, you’ll need to patch it using the same link you used for the emulator. That’s it! You can now enjoy this incredible project.

If you want to experience this game in other ways, you can also do it on any device that can run an Nintendo 64 emulator. If you can place the ROM on a modified console like the Wii or on a flashcart for Nintendo 64, it will also work.

c!Techno: does not give a shit what character he gets and always plays on random. (Little does everyone else know he has trained for days and nights while only consuming Monster Energy and Cheetos so he could master EVERY SMASH CHARACTER IN EVERY GAME! GET REKT NERDDDDDDDS)

c!Philza: Samus. He has been playing since Smash64 and, because of that, he has this character mastered. This man will set you up and then combo you into oblivion with projectiles and airials.

c!Niki: everyone expects her to pick a princess like Peach or Zelda (cuz they’re pretty) or someone like Pichu or Toon Link (cuz they’re cute). Instead she whips out her own GameCube controller and chooses Wolf because, and I quote, “he has a good balance between air and dash speed along with many good KO options. He’s just a good strategic option for my play style.” And that is how everyone else found out she has won several tournaments.

c!Sapnap: the most annoying type of Diddy Kong player, poking other players whenever he can and then immediately running away while calling people bad. And when he finally gets punished (cuz he’s really not that great tbh) he rages and blames the controller.

c!Karl: Hero. He likes how many convoluted options there are to play with, and his play style is basically “ooh what does this one do?” And probably dying many avoidable deaths because of that. He keeps forgetting what kamikazee does.

c!George: picks a Belmont (he is partial to Richtor cuz he’s convinced they look alike), and spams projectiles the entire game. People inevitably team up on him and take all 3 stocks out of pure annoyance before returning to the game. George is just happy he can nap again.

c!BBH: he switches back and forth between Snake and Olimar. Sometimes he’s in a sneaky, set up bombs and shoot projectiles like a cool spy mood. Sometimes he just wants to see the silly goofy pikmen flying across the screen.

c!Puffy: Peach. She’s pretty solid with her, but she mostly just plays casually.

c!Awesamdude: Mario. I just feel like he would enjoy airal punishing with him to piss people off. Same with Luigi but with ledge guarding.

c!Eret: Palutena. They just think she’s pretty. No thoughts head empty whenever they play. They’re just happy to be there and get some kills every once in a while.

c!Schlatt: Game and Watch. He spams judge. Just judge. Nothing else. Sometimes he doesn’t even move from where he started the round. He just waits for people to walk by him and then slaps them with a hammer. Thinks getting a 9 is the funniest thing in the world.

c!Tommy: probably kirby or some shit but I saw this one video of cc!tommy playing Smash with Metaknight and he would literally only use NeutralB to attack and SideB to approach and that has such strong fucking c!tommy energy that I can't stop thinking about it

c!Tubbo: Minecraft Steve. I would fucking hate fighting against him he'd pull off like NIL uptilt-upair chains and kill me at 30 off a bad roll I'd fucking hate his stupid ass steve

c!Wilbur: He doesn't know what the hell he's doing he'd probably just be like "huh, Mario, I know that guy" and then write emo poetry after he falls off the stage three times and Tommy laughs at him for it

c!Dream: Joker (see this post)

c!Quackity: Loves King K. Rool and is actually pretty good but he never plays him because he's a tier whore and is trying desperately to convince people that his aegis has sauce (it doesn't he knows it doesn't he just wanted to play a top tier)

c!Foolish: Always picks Donkey Kong when messing around but if he gets pissed off he switches to this pocket fox he has and literally just wipes the floor with fucking anyone without even blinking it's fucking scary man

c!Purpled: Aeigis (he's also a tier whore but unlike quackity he's actually good at them) (he's also a controller smasher when he loses)

c!Ranboo: Jigglypuff cuz he thought she was cute, but he also has no idea what he's fucking doing (i'd fucking get his ass so hard with a tipper marth fsmash and he'd die at fucking 25% and then go and monologue sadly about it and it would be the best day of my life)
