Joshua Daniel Hartnett was born July 21, 1978 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The 46-year-old actor is best known for his roles in the films Halloween H2O: 20 Years Later, The Faculty, The Virgin Suicides, Pearl Harbor, Black Hawk Down, and 40 Days and 40 Nights. Josh played The Salesman/The Lady Killer in Sin City, Dwight "Buck" Bleichert in The Black Dahlia, Slevin Kelevra in Lucky Number Slevin, Eben Oleson in 30 Days of Night, and Ernest Lawrence in Oppenheimer. Josh also has several TV roles including Penny Dreadful, Black Mirror and The Bear. He has made apperances in the following music videos: Faith Hill's "There You'll Be", The Chicks' "Travelin Soldier" and "Pursuit of Happiness" by Kid Cudi. Josh can currently be seen in the M. Night Syyamalan psychological thriller film The Trap which premiered July 24, 2024. Josh is 6 feet and 3 inches tall.

Slevin Kelevra (Josh Hartnett) está com vários problemas em sua vida. O prédio onde mora foi condenado, sua carteira de identidade foi roubada e ele recentemente flagrou sua namorada na cama com outro homem. Para escapar ao menos por algum tempo dos problemas, ele consegue emprestado com seu amigo Nick Fisher (Sam Jaeger) um apartamento em Nova York. Paralelamente um plano está sendo tramado no submundo do crime de Nova York. Para se vingar da morte de seu filho, o Chefe (Morgan Freeman) planeja um golpe no filho de seu arquiinimigo, o Rabino (Ben Kingsley). O Chefe contrata Goodkat (Bruce Willis) para executar o plano, que consiste em encontrar um apostador que deva muito dinheiro ao Chefe a ponto de aceitar matar o filho do Rabino para se livrar da dívida. O escolhido é Nick Fisher, o que faz com que Goodkat vá até seu apartamento e confunda Slevin com seu alvo.

4. How did you choose the name of your story?

I'm a sucker for puns, so I knew I wanted the name to be punny. In the the original (now much different) version of this story, Amber's last name was Schmidt (after my favorite New Girl character) and so it was called "Schmidt Happens." For this one, I actually went through a list of women accused of witchcraft during the Salem Witch Trials, looking for a name that would work in a pun, and I found Hale (for Sarah Hale, accused of witchcraft but never arrested/put on trial). I made a list of punny titles ("To Hale and Back," "Hale and High Water," etc.) before settling on To Hale With It

5. How do you choose your characters’ names?

That answer would be all over the place. I have always loved learning names and their meanings and hoarded baby name books (with no intention of ever having a baby), so I have a list of names I love. Some of my characters' names (like Huck) come from that. Amber's name comes from me, since that is my name (see question #14). James is named after Bucky/The Winter Soldier, and his last name, Kelevra, comes from a movie I love, Lucky Number Slevin. Lucius' name came from the middle name of a good friend I had in high school, who shared Lucius' fashion sense if not his personality.

14. Do you have any regrets about your story so far? If you could go back in time, how would you fix these?

Yes, I wish I'd changed Amber's name, since it is my name and it just feels weird now. The original story, Schmidt Happens, started off as a silly gameplay/vaguely story-ish thing with my simself and grew into an actual story. When I rebooted it to THWI, I was going to change her name and then didn't. I wish I had.

16. what about the process do you enjoy?

I enjoy building/decorating the "sets," and I love having the little "ah ha!" moments when I'm figuring out upcoming scenes and something just clicks into place. I also love when I'm able to inject my sarcastic? quirky? sense of humor into the story, which isn't always easy because I'm hellbent on torturing my characters with drama and angst at times.

17. What about the process do you hate?

POSING. I have waaaaaaay too many poses downloaded and even though they are organized it's still such a pain in the ass. I'm so, so, so grateful for the people who make Deco Sims because that helps so much!

18. Choose a song that reminds you of your story

I tend to pick songs by character rather than overall story arc, so here's one for James:

20. Choose your favourite shot from your story so far
