Columbo gets angry. Mood.

I can so identify with him in this compilation.

A little guy who believes in justice, who uses his cunning and wiles to lure murderers into smug complacency, and then nails their asses while smiling benignly. But every now and then his patience reaches a snapping point, the facade is tossed aside, and you see the passion in him.

Damn, I love Columbo. If anyone tries to remake this series I'll commit murder.

For the record, Columbo isn't really angry with the young man he's yelling at in Italian. He's pressuring him to give some information. I think. The only Italian I know are names of foods.

First he's disinterested. But he gives Watson a tiny, secret smile in the second gif.

Then he's intrigued.

Then he's like tiny, tiny smile at Watson's remark, then looks like he says "Come on" silently.

why aren't there more mysteries that take place in nursing homes & retirement communities. i want to watch a group of deranged retirees-cum-amateur-detectives combine their powers of:

decades of life experience

boredom-fueled busybody shamelessness

access to the most gossipy next-door-neighbors in existence

"I am too old to be arrested and/or give a shit" attitude

and solve crimes. this should be an enormous subgenre.

My best friend says this is exactly how I am when I'm writing in my head. On more than one occasion she and other friends have witnessed me suddenly stop in the middle of the grocery store or coffee shop or movie theater and do this exact shit when I finally figure out a scene in my WIP. I'm not kidding.

yooo so I started working on this when I finished reading Sleuth Jesters by @naffeclipse (not sure if you okay with tagging, i'll delete if not) some weeks ago and it absolutely destroyed my heart :D

the scene where they ran after the Vigilante after discovering their "secret"? Tears??? At 4AM??? More likely than you think!!

so yeah this piece is based on that scene, yes I took very long, yes I forgot to post it, kiss kisss muah

mr sims have you watched supernatural

The year is 2006 - I've just finished school for the summer holidays and am looking for something to fill my time. I am recommended by a friend a show called Supernatural as it's "pretty decent action horror" and it piques my interest. There's a whole four seasons of it available, so plenty to fill my time. I watch it through in a few weeks and enjoy it a medium amount, but not enough to keep up with future seasons, and I assume it ends not too long after that, as it feels like it's really running out of stories to tell.

The year is 2013 - I discover the show is still going somehow, and that things have gotten weird. I decide not to bother catching up, as nobody actually seems to think it's good, despite how intense they are about it.

The years are 2018-present - I am fully vindicated in my decision.
