Life of a support life wizard on W101: Sitting on tiktok, passing every other turn and spamming Unicorn to keep the actual hard-hitting players you found on Team Up alive so you dont gotta actually battle yourself. I've literally only cast 10 spells on average running through Olympus. Thank god there are stronger players bringing massive AoE spells, it keeps my ass alive long enough to try for the school set from Zappy Daddy

Looooooore! Max is going through his Eclipse arc right now. We'll then exit into the hardening and the most satisfying softening mh! can't wait.
Max's mother's kind of a wild card. She's an Avaar woman, the daughter of her hold's Augur. She left her home for a lowlander husband. For this her Augur mother cursed her children to be monsters. Because of this for a while she refused to have them until her husband convinced her to ignore it as superstition. She didn't agree, but since she really wanted sons she prayed and sacrificed to the Avaar Skyfather or Mountain father to give her strong sons. In the coming years she ended up having Baldwin who was born missing an eye, Alphonse who has a part of his lung missing and Max who was born perfect but later lost his arm. What about Evelyn though? WELL Bann Trevelyan eventually took all 3 of her sons as they ended up becoming soldiers and explorers and lady Trevelyan wanted a daughter for herself. She prayed and sacrificed to the lady of the skies for a daughter who took the missing eye, lung and arm taken from her sons by the curse and molded them into a daughter.

I'm sure examples would be spoilers, but could I ask for a list of which god-level entities are being subbed for by Celestials?
I can't give you names, and there isn't a catch-all I could use (like "all the Skyfathers are secret celestials", for example) to give you a reference.
I guess you could possibly consider insanely powerful figures like Primus and Unicron (whom I've already confirmed as Celestial beings) and think of other characters like that from the many fandoms in the Kverse as possible candidates, but since Celestials can choose any appearance and exhibit any level of power, it could conceivably be anyone, really.

Indra, the Hindu god of lightning. In vedic mythology Indra was the king of the gods, considered to be the most influential among them. Born from the divine union between the skyfather Dyāus and the earthmother Prithvi, Indra’s rivalry with his father reached a fever pitch as when Indra learned of Dyāus assaulting his sister, Indra ripped Dyāus down from the skies and killed him in a righteous fury, ending the sky god. However the most famous of Indra’s rivalries was with the dark god Vritra. After Vritra stole and imprisoned all the water on earth, Indra confronted the serpent in battle. Their duel ended with Indra striking down Vritra.
Indra is one of the many examples of the Indo-European thunderer, overturning Varuna as the chief god. Much of Vedic mythology closely resembles Proto-indo-european myth, with Indra the thunderer, Dyāus the skyfather, and Prithvi the earthmother. However in modern Hinduism Indra’s position as the king of the devas has become less important with the oncoming of the trimutri. Despite this Indra still holds a significant place in the hearts of many Hindus as a great hero.

"What happened, Grant?" Kate asked tiredly. "Why do all this?" She was bound to the floor with arcane chains, surrounded by thousands of similarly restrained individuals. She was the only one left conscious, though. She could have that much at least, from our relationship in the past loops.
"I am going to sacrifice all of you."
"Oh come off it! Not like I'll be able to do anything anyway, so you might as well. I mean, I still don't understand. We were just travelling along the road to Barojikde Kingdom, and you just up and left! Then out of nowhere, you're kidnapping every individual of note for this stupid ritual. Like, what the hell!"
I continue pouring my magic dust. It's a large ritual, and I cannot be stopping every few seconds to answer her questions. "I suppose. I got trapped in a time loop. It has been more than a thousand loops, starting when I left, ending after 5 years or when I die. I've tried breaking the loop, but the caster was a Skyfather. This might allow me to permanently die though, by melting my soul through the spiritual pressure. Now hush." I cast a gag spell and continue It's pretty shit, but this is the first thing I've ever written so stfu* *unless you have feedback
You're a cruel villain from the eyes of the heroes. But in earlier timelines, you used to be good allies. The thing is, you've been stuck in a time loop for spirits know how long, and you're just about ready to try anything to break out of it.

Gryphon Shepherd's Journey
The wind whispered through the vast, open skies of Aeris Vale, carrying the distant cries of gryphons. Beneath the sprawling expanse of azure, a lone figure made his way up the emerald hills, his silver fur glinting in the sunlight. This was Thaylen Swiftfur, a white fox anthromorph known far and wide as the Shepherd of Gryphons. Clad in flowing robes adorned with ancient glyphs, he exuded an aura of calm authority and devotion.
Thaylen’s heart raced as he approached the Gryphon Roost—a sanctuary nestled atop the cliffs overlooking the sea. Today was no ordinary visit. Word had reached him of an injured gryphon, a rare black-winged alpha named Aeryth, whose survival was uncertain. It was said that she had shielded her young from a rogue thunder wyvern, paying the price with a shattered wing.
As Thaylen entered the roost, the gryphons stirred, their golden eyes fixing on him. Though some remained wary, others approached him with familiarity, nudging him with their beaks in silent greeting. He whispered soothing words in the Old Tongue, a melodic language known only to those bonded with gryphons. His tail swayed gently behind him as he knelt to tend to a youngling who playfully tugged at his robe.
Deeper within the sanctuary, Thaylen found Aeryth. Her once-majestic form was sprawled across the ground, her feathers dull and matted with blood. Her piercing gaze, however, remained unbroken, filled with both pain and defiance. Thaylen approached slowly, extending a paw. “Easy now, Aeryth. I am here to help.”
The gryphon let out a low growl, but as Thaylen began to sing, her growl softened into a whimper. His voice, deep and resonant, wove a tapestry of hope and comfort. As the song reached its crescendo, the air shimmered faintly—a sign that the bond between shepherd and gryphon had been reaffirmed.
Hours passed as Thaylen worked tirelessly. He cleaned and dressed Aeryth’s wounds with herbal salves, muttering prayers to the Skyfather for strength. He spoke to her softly, recounting tales of her own courage and the legacy of her lineage. Gryphons, though fierce, had hearts that responded to trust and love. Aeryth, despite her pride, began to lower her defenses.
Just as dusk began to paint the horizon with hues of crimson and gold, a shadow fell over the roost. From the cliffs above, a massive figure descended—blacker than night, its wings eclipsing the setting sun. Thaylen’s heart froze. It was the thunder wyvern, returned to finish what it had begun.
Aeryth struggled to rise, her maternal instincts ignited as her chicks chirped in fear. Thaylen, though no warrior, stood firm, drawing a gleaming staff inscribed with runes. “Not today,” he whispered, stepping between the predator and his gryphons.
The battle that followed was nothing short of legend. Lightning crackled as the wyvern unleashed its fury, but Thaylen’s staff absorbed the blasts, channeling their energy into shields of light. Aeryth, summoning the last of her strength, joined the fray, her talons and beak striking with precision. The younger gryphons, inspired by their alpha’s bravery, attacked in unison, driving the invader to retreat into the dark skies.
Exhausted but victorious, Thaylen collapsed to his knees, the staff slipping from his grasp. Aeryth approached him, her gaze softer now, a quiet gratitude shining in her eyes. She bowed her head, allowing him to rest against her warm feathers. The other gryphons surrounded them, their wings forming a protective circle as the stars began to emerge.
In that moment, Thaylen felt a deep sense of fulfillment. He had not only saved a life but had witnessed the unbreakable bond between gryphon and shepherd. As he gazed into the night, he whispered a vow: “As long as I breathe, I will protect you, my friends. For we are bound by the skies and the spirit of freedom.”
And so, under the watchful gaze of the moon, the Shepherd of Gryphons found his place among his flock once more, ready to face whatever challenges the skies might bring.
========================================================================
The morning sun bathed Aeris Vale in a golden light as Thaylen Swiftfur prepared for the next part of his mission. After the fierce battle with the thunder wyvern, peace had returned to the roost. Yet, the Shepherd of Gryphons had more than just healing to offer. Today, he would guide one of his gryphons on a journey of the heart.
Among the gryphons in his care was a proud male named Varion, whose deep crimson feathers glistened in the sunlight. Varion was a symbol of strength and courage, but in recent days, he had grown restless. Thaylen knew the signs well—it was the yearning for companionship, a natural call that no gryphon could ignore.
Thaylen approached Varion, who stood atop a perch overlooking the sea, his sharp eyes scanning the horizon. The fox placed a gentle paw on Varion's powerful wing. “The time has come, my friend,” he said, his voice soft yet firm. “There is one who awaits you, a gryphoness as radiant as the twilight skies. But the journey to her will not be easy.”
Varion let out a low rumble, his way of acknowledging Thaylen’s words. Together, they set off, the shepherd on foot and Varion soaring above, his wings casting a shadow over the lush landscape. Thaylen carried with him a staff imbued with protective runes, for the path ahead was fraught with peril.
Their destination was the Autumn Glade, a place known for its fiery hues and serene beauty. It was said that gryphons who bonded there shared a connection as eternal as the seasons. The gryphoness, Althea, awaited them—a majestic creature with feathers of deep violet accented by gold. Her beauty was rivaled only by her fierce independence.
As they journeyed, Thaylen and Varion encountered challenges that tested their resolve. In the dense Whispering Woods, they faced a pack of shadow wolves, their glowing eyes piercing through the mist. Thaylen’s staff flared to life, casting radiant light that drove the wolves back, while Varion’s talons slashed through the darkness with precision.
Further ahead, they crossed the Silverstream, its waters known for their deceptive calm. Thaylen waded carefully, whispering prayers to the river spirits, while Varion flew low, his keen eyes watching for hidden dangers. At one point, the water surged unexpectedly, but Varion swooped down, lifting Thaylen to safety with his powerful claws.
Finally, they arrived at the Autumn Glade. The air was thick with the scent of fallen leaves, and the vibrant colors of the foliage seemed to dance in the breeze. At the center of the glade stood Althea, her violet feathers glowing in the dappled sunlight. Her golden eyes met Varion’s, and a silence fell over the glade—a silence that spoke of recognition, of destiny.
Thaylen stepped back, allowing the two gryphons to approach each other. Varion bowed his head, a gesture of respect and admiration. Althea responded in kind, her wings spreading slightly in acknowledgment. The two circled each other, their movements a graceful dance of curiosity and connection.
========================================================================
As the day turned to twilight, the gryphons took to the skies, their forms silhouetted against the fiery hues of the setting sun. Thaylen watched from below, a sense of fulfillment washing over him. He knew that this bond would strengthen not only Varion and Althea but the entire roost.
Returning to the roost alone, Thaylen felt the weight of his duties lightened. His role as shepherd was more than tending to wounds or guiding gryphons—it was nurturing the bonds that defined their existence. As the stars began to dot the night sky, Thaylen whispered a prayer of gratitude, his heart swelling with pride and peace.
And so, the Shepherd of Gryphons continued his sacred work, knowing that the skies above Aeris Vale would forever carry the echoes of love, courage, and freedom.
Thaylen Swiftfur’s paws crunched softly on the golden carpet of leaves as he ventured into the western wing of Aeris Vale’s gryphon reserve. This part of the land was known for hosting some of the most unique and temperamental gryphons under his care, and today, his task was to evaluate one of its most elusive residents: Zoryn.
Zoryn was no ordinary gryphon. His fiery, fox-like coat with sharp black accents made him a striking figure, a creature of unparalleled beauty and wildness. Unlike others in the roost, Zoryn was known for his unpredictable temperament, often keeping to himself and shying away from social interactions. As Thaylen approached the clearing where Zoryn usually lingered, his sharp eyes caught sight of an unusual scene that froze him in his tracks.
There, standing amid the fallen leaves, was Zoryn, his sharp ears twitching with alertness as he sniffed the air with uncharacteristic focus. Before him stood a creature that made Thaylen blink in surprise—a tigress with fur as white as fresh snow, her stripes rippling like shadowy waves. Her presence was rare enough, for Thaylen had only ever seen such equines in distant lands. But it was the tigress's behavior that truly gave him pause.
The tigress was in estrus, her scent unmistakable to both beast and anthro alike. It was a natural part of the cycle, but to see Zoryn so captivated by her was an anomaly. The gryphon, who often seemed indifferent to all around him, was now utterly engrossed. He circled her cautiously, his beak clicking softly, an instinctive rhythm that Thaylen recognized as a gryphon’s attempt to court or assess another.
“Zoryn,” Thaylen called out softly, stepping closer but careful not to disrupt the delicate moment. The gryphon flicked an ear in acknowledgment but did not take his eyes off the tigress. The tigress, for her part, stood her ground, her luminous eyes watching Zoryn with a mix of curiosity and caution. Her striped coat shimmered as she shifted her weight, exuding both elegance and power.
========================================================================
Thaylen approached slowly, his instincts as a shepherd guiding his every step. “You’ve found someone interesting, haven’t you?” he murmured, his tone laced with a mix of amusement and wonder. Zoryn let out a low, throaty chirr, a sound that was neither hostile nor fully relaxed.
He studied the tigress closely now. Her presence here was not entirely unexpected; the reserve sometimes allowed creatures from neighboring sanctuaries to wander within its boundaries to graze and explore. Still, her timing was impeccable, almost as if fate had guided her steps to this clearing.
Thaylen crouched beside the tigress, extending a paw slowly to her. She sniffed it cautiously before letting out a soft chuff, a sign of tentative trust. “You’ve crossed paths with a curious gryphon,” he said to her softly, stroking her fur with a gentle hand. Turning to Zoryn, he added, “And you, my fiery friend, seem to have found a rare connection. What will you do now?”
For a moment, the three stood together in the clearing, a scene of tranquil unity amid the vibrant colors of the reserve. Zoryn stepped closer to the tigress, his movements slow and deliberate, his sharp eyes softened with something akin to admiration. The tigress met his gaze, and in that exchange, Thaylen saw the beginnings of a
