For everyone who doesn't speak Italian, I translated the Instagram stories the actors of Skam Italia published this morning to announce season 4

Ludovica Martino (Eva Brighi)

Finally the fourth season will be released. You have no idea how much I would like to tell you something but I'm sure you prefer to find it out on your own. Anyway I can tell you three words about this new Eva: confused, exuberant and at times a little bit jealous. Ludo go!

Ludovico Tersigni (Giovanni Garau)

Hey guys! Skam 4 is coming. I won't make any spoiler but I can say that this year Giovanni will be an excellent friend, loyal as always and he will still hate board games. Federico Cesari will be able to tell us more.

Federico Cesari (Martino Rametta)

Guys, don't forget tomorrow Skam season 4. I won't make any spoiler but I'll tell you with three adjectives how Martino is going to be in this fourth season. He is going to be emotional, tormented and supportive. You will have to find out why on your own. I'll pass the ball to Rocco.

Hi guys, tomorrow Skam Italia season 4 is being released and I would like to tell you three things about Silvia in this new season. So, you are going to find her very sweet, flippant as always and especially a bit unpredictable. I'm very curious to know what Nicholas has to say about his character. Nicholas, go!

Nicholas Zerbini (Luca Colosio)

Pietro Turano (Filippo Sava)

One day before Skam Italia 4 is out. I can't say much about it obviously but I can definitely tell you that in this season Filippo is going to be very mature as always, very responsible as always and especially, as always, very chaste. I pass the ball to Fra.

if you are not a muslim/hijabi i really don't see the point of you criticising that one scene from skamit where sana takes off her hijab??

sana has already mentioned that it was HER choice to start wearing one and not because her parents forced her to. so if she is choosing to wear hijab, it is also HER choice when and with whom she is comfortable in removing the same.

my parents never forced me to wear hijab too, i started on my own and sometimes when i go out w my friends i don't wear hijab, just because i don't want to. i have received my fair share of backlash for it saying i don't respect allah enough, both from my family and friends, muslims and non-muslims.

why must a third party gets to comment on how strong my faith is, based on what i choose to wear? the relationship people share with their god (or whatever they believe in) is personal and no one outside them should be able to define it. it's really that simple.

the theme or motif of this season seems to be communication. it’s always characters asking each other if they want to talk

Reasons why I didn't like Skam Italia season 4

SPOILERS!

Elia. I love this character but in this season he has no personality, he is simply "the one in love with Sana". Moreover, there were no signs of him liking Sana before this season, they weren't in a shot together, he never looked at her, they had never talked before

Malik. I loved both Yousef and Mohammed because they were sweet and very caring towards Sana and Amira and respected their faith and they made them food to eat at the end of the day. Malik is always telling Sana "you can be a good person even if you don't believe" and it felt like he was trying to convince her people are better off without faith and he drunk in front of her and even offered her water during Ramadan and I can't believe he had forgotten it was Ramadan.

Martino. He seemed possessed by Eva's of the first season with all this jealousy

Rami's speech to Sana. I loved it both in Skam Norway and Druck was very disappointing in this version

The last episode. First of all the names were almost completely useless because they didn't actually correspond to the epilogue of that person. Some epilogues just destroyed the arc of the characters. Elia and Emma, again Elia's only thought is to have a girl when he never cared before. Gio cheating once more on his girlfriend and let me just say that him and Eva fucking in the street was so out of place. The thing I hated the most, though, was Filippo taking the test to know if he had HIV. They had made such a great job in representing the LGBTQ+ community up until now and then they just decided to go back to the old stereotype of gay people risking HIV. I was so disappointed.

Obviously I'm not saying the whole season is bad but those things upset me a lot and because of that I didn't enjoy the season as much as I enjoyed the original version or Druck's.

I’ve cried like eight times a episode, first everyone together at silvia’s birthday; i mean girl squad + contrabbanderi + filippo? you can only improve that by adding edo and the white rose squad and then everyone helping marti and nico make up by playing hide and seek? They are literally the best squads in the remakes and the best all together

(1) I'm so done with people hating on each other because "Skam x is better" "No, Skam x is the worst, Skam y is the GOAT"... Grow up. Every, yes, EVERY Skam has mistakes but also things they did really well. For example, I really like Skam Fr s3 and really connected with Eliott and liked the fact that Elu spoke about the MI, but the fact that Elu spoke about the MI, but the fact that Charles and Manon are still together? And THAT s4? Skam España made mistakes too, but I feel like it is one of

(2) the remakes that better developed the characters and the side storylines (even, in my opinion, Miqhell is well developed fgs). And the social media game. Did I want Norandro? Yes (and I was quite disappointed that we didn't see them) , but Nora's season gave as a waaaaay more important lesson. Do I like the fact that they changed so many things? At first I was skeptical. Druck gave us a transgender story and apparently a passable s4 (I swear that season is cursed) and since I haven't

3) watched it I can't say more, but it probably made mistakes too. I admittedly haven't watched Skam Nl, and people pointed out its really good. And I applaud that, but even if I haven't watched it I know about the wedding dress scene (and that was a mistake). Wtfock had a hate crime that apparently got forgotten, but the social media game is spectacular. I found some of Skam Ita's characters to be boring and s4 wasn't my favorite,but  I really like how they changed the MI as to open the

(4) range and talk about different Mental Illnesses. Skam OG made mistakes. For example, keeping Noorhelm together. But they also created the story and taught people a lot of things. Skam Austin was the first remake to have a lesbian character (I think, I could be wrong) yet I know a lot of people don't like it so it may have mistakes (I can't say much about this one since the info I have is limited). What I want to say by this is, there's no perfect remake and that's a fact.But fighting

(5) and being mean to each other, even hating on each other, as if you were little kids doesn't make you better. It makes you immature and toxic. P. S. It wasn't directed to you. I was speaking in general
