The Princess of Wales June 2024 Photo Challenge ♔
❥ Day 11 - Favourite photo(s) of Catherine with the British royal family
Catherine's relationship with the Windsor family is quite possibly one of my favorite things ever. She's the daughter Charles always wanted, is Camilla and Sophie's best friend, Anne and Tim adore her, and she's the ride-or-die for William's siblings Zara and Mike and their families. Edward is like the dorky uncle who’s almost a best friend. Even though we don't get to see her interact with the younger Edinburghs as much, the short time we do see them together only proves that she's like an older sister to them. And even I, with my complicated relationship with the Yorks, can admit that, despite what everyone would have us believe, the girl squad of Bea, Cat, and Genie proves everyone wrong with their friendship.

POV: you’re attending Midnight Mass at a Catholic church with a pipe organ that has at least 3 manuals and 50 stops. The brass ensemble, timpanist, and organist plays the fanfare. You, the choir (in whom some of the sopranos sing this SICK-BOOTY descant), and the congregation sing this hymn as the priest and altar servers make their way towards the altar:
Then, most of the kids in nearby pews sing the refrain of this hymn like this:
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
OH COME LET US ADORE HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMM
CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSTTT THE LOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRDDDD!!!

9.110 Game of Two Halves
STEELE: Isn’t Suzi with you?
McCANN: Yes, er, no. She fell over.
CATO: Too long in the brains department. Lose the use of their legs.
MEADOWS: You know, if the recommendations of the Sheehy Report are adopted, Tosh, the rank of Chief Inspector might well disappear.
LINES: Does that bother you, Sir?
MEADOWS: It’s a price I’d be happy to pay.
LINES: What for, Sir?
MEADOWS: For the abolition of Chief Inspector Cato.
Suzi’s back in uniform for the day and Jack and Philip champion her and Gary respectively in the hope of proving themselves the better Chief Inspector. The result is bloody hilarious. Also, Suzi looks good in uniform.
So much comedy gold in this one, but nothing beats the warrant card in the safe followed by berserker Jim bursting out of the stationery cupboard.
(NB: Writer Robert Jones is also responsible for the classic Meadows line “Whose foot might that be, Mr Cooper?” in Spit and Polish and putting Tone at the wheel of a runaway Bulldozer.)

Masterlist;
Bonjour !
