3. Sunrise Suites’ Guestrooms
First time visitor? Start from “About Sunrise Suites”!
You would probably agree that, when you come to Kyoto, what you would want to do is to visit the temples and shrines.
The man, who looked like one of the seven lucky gods, was trying to think what the hotel rooms should be like, if the guests are to enjoy Kyoto to its full extent.

People who come to would go around to visit temples and shrines. And looking around temples and shrines takes a lot of walking. So, after all day of sightseeing in Kyoto, my guests would be really tired at night. Let’s make sure the beds are comfortable to sleep on. Another possibility might be to provide Futons so that they can experience a part of Japanese culture, but beds should be easier on exhausted knees. Since Kyoto has many more temples and shrines than you can see in just a few days, some people would want to stay longer. To make longer stays comfortable and convenient enough, a full-size bath room, a kitchenette, and a washer/dryer will be placed in each room. When relaxing on the bed, it should feel like you ARE in Kyoto. The room interior will consist of traditional Japanese elements, like cypress columns and sliding doors, zelkova floor, Shoji paper window covering, ceiling lights shaped like traditional Japanese motifs...
And in the morning, I will have Japanese style breakfast delivered to each room, so that guests can have a slow, relaxing time before an entire day of outing and sightseeing.
