This bento place! They closed down! I was sad! Except…… they didn’t :D They just moved! And I’ve found them :D

I got the salmon saikyo-yaki (one of my favorite ways to cook fish) and it was savory and delicious. And their miso soup was so tasty I was actually a little mad at myself that I’d only gotten takeaway before. But I know now!

Sakura Terrace. Special Nori Bento – Deluxe A piece of salmon, deep fried fishcake. The deluxe version adds sashimi. The Mouse got the fishcake. Maguro Steak Teishoku Like seared ahi with a sauce. Most of the rice and some of the maguro steak went home for The Cat’s weekday bento. Matcha Ice Cream with Adzuki, House Made Butter Mochi Be well, eat well. The Mouse Lahaina/Maui Strong.

Holiday kushi katsu lunch! I almost never get this kind of thing and I forget how nice it can be!

They gave me benishoga pickled ginger (the red thing), quail eggs, chicken tender, wiener sausage, and beef, and hidden underneath, my favorites: eggplant and lotus root.

Quail eggs can be hit or miss, but these ones were delicious, with creamy yolks. And the sausage and chicken were nice, especially with alternating bites of ginger, but with deep-fried food, veggies are basically always going to be the winners.
