This bento place! They closed down! I was sad! Except…… they didn’t :D They just moved! And I’ve found them :D

I got the salmon saikyo-yaki (one of my favorite ways to cook fish) and it was savory and delicious. And their miso soup was so tasty I was actually a little mad at myself that I’d only gotten takeaway before. But I know now!

Sunday Dinner

Kizuna Sushi Bar and Grill. The Cat’s Teishoku Two choices, saba and vegetable tempura. Tofu Teriyaki The Cat and The Mouse have become semi-regulars at Kizuna, The Mouse asked for extra onions, mmm. If the restaurant would allow The Mouse, would order onion teriyaki on the hot platter, onion and sauce only, 🙂 The Mouse was in the mood for a sushi roll. Fantasy Roll Soft shell crab…

Holiday kushi katsu lunch! I almost never get this kind of thing and I forget how nice it can be!

They gave me benishoga pickled ginger (the red thing), quail eggs, chicken tender, wiener sausage, and beef, and hidden underneath, my favorites: eggplant and lotus root.

Quail eggs can be hit or miss, but these ones were delicious, with creamy yolks. And the sausage and chicken were nice, especially with alternating bites of ginger, but with deep-fried food, veggies are basically always going to be the winners.
