Appearance

Sy has fair, clear skin with bright blue eyes and minty green hair that they wear in a short ponytail. They like to experiment with makeup and fashion, so their style can change up often - the hair stays, though, they love their hair. Sy also wears a binder at times

Personality

Sy is a very snarky person, never shying away from saying exactly what they think of people or making witty comments at their expense. They also care a lot about their appearance and have a high opinion of themself, their self-confidence something that many people admire. Ultimately, though, Sy is well-meaning and keen to show their best self

Despite all this, they act much differently when around Aegis, focusing much more on trying to appease him and be the perfect ‘daughter’

Backstory

Sy has always enjoyed experimenting with their appearance and how they expressed themself, even when they were young. This lead to an interest in hair, makeup and fashion, and later to their pursuit of creating their own clothing

Sy often feels like the forgotten child amongst their siblings, who Aegis is always taking away for meetings or training to be queen one day while he simply sends Sy off to the Amphitheatre for as many lessons as they can possibly attend. While Sy is mostly very open about their identity, they keep it a secret from Aegis to avoid rocking the boat with him any further - they may be a little bitter about Aegis’ apparent lack of interest in them compared to their siblings, but that doesn’t mean that Sy doesn’t want to still have that relationship with him and to prove themself worthy of that attention

Fun Facts

• Sy has been working on their fashion designs for years now and often wears their own designs. Their sisters sometimes wear Sy’s designs as well, and on multiple occasions Sy has bribed Persephone into modelling for them while they make adjustments

• Sy’s favourite place in the world is a local fabric shop. Sy could stay there for hours feeling all of the different fabrics and holding them up to see how they look in different lighting

• Sy has a small crush on Persephone, but knows that she’s asexual and so doesn’t want to say anything (they’ve considered the homoromanticism but concluded that they don’t count into that since they’re not a girl)

My strengths and weaknesses

Hello, Let me start by introducing myself to everyone. I am Siarra, a young busy mom of a one-year-old girl who just loves to adventure every second it is possible. I'm New to this business stuff, but one thing I do know is I love an adventure, and love trying new things. One of my strengths is people management. I encourage those around me to the best of my abilities and am always willing to spend the extra time showing someone how something is done, so it gets done properly and safely for both parties. Doing so actually helps boost professional growth. One of my weaknesses is sales and negotiations. I have a hard time finding a fair price that is best suited for both ends, usually ending in shorting myself finically to get the best result for the other party. I think this new adventure in business will help me broaden my horizons and let me build on both my strengths and weaknesses.

saw a bit of the first look of the loki show season 2, and honestly, ive just decided to filter any mention of it. like im happy for anyone who’s excited for it but im just not interested in seeing it on my dash, and i dont want to interact with it bc I know I’d be a negative nancy abt it and show fans dont deserve that. especially gif creators rip

Is Sy trans or non-binary?

Sy is non-binary and uses They/Them pronouns - unless you’re around their father, because to Aegis his youngest “daughter’s” name is Siarra and they use She/Her pronouns

Sy enjoys experimenting with their appearance and identity, they like to try out new things to see what sticks, and this has lead them to an interest in fashion design as well as trying out lots of fun makeup looks. Sy’s experimentation with their identity will continue to evolve in the story

The hair is non-negotiable, though; they worked out early on that this was their fave and they’ve stuck to it

Yes and no? Physically I like when people are taller than me (which is tragic as a 5’10” girl), and I like soft hair that’s long enough for me to run my fingers through. But it really comes down to the kindness and the humor and the intelligent conversations and the depth and all that. My friends laugh because whenever I manage to get talking literature with someone they’re like “oh god—she’s in love” and they’re....not too far off lol, but I think what really draws me is just—kind, smart, authentic people who really love to laugh. But I guess that’s what we all want?

magenta: do you keep your fingernails long or short?

You definitely did not expect me to write you an essay for this of all questions, but here we are—I have literally been biting my nails so incredibly badly since I was 5 years old (and I mean ugly biting), and tried to quit over and over, but the beauty (read: suckiness) of ocd is that one does not simply...stop doing a compulsive behavior like that.

But covid caught me in this catch 22 of needing to avoid contamination (like, for instance, keeping my hands out of my mouth) while also needing to bite my nails—and in this battle of the compulsions, nail biting lost. So only in the past month or so, I grew them long enough to put nail polish on for the first time in my entire life, and was so proud of myself I nearly teared up which is silly and embarrassing, but I just feel like I actually have control over something my brain does now. So that’s kind of great. I’m definitely still in danger of biting them at any given moment, but for now I haven’t done it in like a month!

Oh, and of course ironically, now i have to cut them short anyway because they’re too long to play guitar lol
