absolutely heartbreaking to see some of my favourite youtubers accept sponsors from betterhelp despite the literal actual federal trade commission stating that betterhelp broke its own privacy rules and pressured customers into giving them personal health information that they then gave to third party companies and fucking social media platforms.

like i understand that betterhelp seems like a mostly affordable, accessible alternative to in-person therapy, but i expected them to actually research the company a bit before accepting the sponsorship? i mean, even the most shallow of searches immediately brings up the legal case against betterhelp which exposed all of their shady dealings and mishandlings. maybe i'm expecting too much, but if a company asking to sponsor me lost a legal case because they sold their clients' medical information to facebook, i would turn down the sponsorship.

buying an old, secluded house in the scottish highlands, intending on renovating and reselling it. but you find out quickly that it's haunted. like, haunted haunted.

at first, you refuse to believe a man that pretty would be dead. let alone, a nefarious spirit with... questionable intentions.

but, compared to the (literal) horror stories you've heard, spirit!johnny is pretty cordial in his ways of messing with you. always picks up the books he knocks over to startle you, or when you scream at him to give you back your keys, or quit hiding your glasses, dammit

sometimes, when you're in the right mood, you find it comforting to know you're not all alone out in the middle of nowhere. it's not like you can tell your friends and family any details of this. you'll sound downright insane.

you learn to deal with the strong scent of his cologne or the creak of his footsteps (which you only hear because he wants you to, of course).

and—naturally—the feeling of large hands smoothing along your spine, down to your hips, a thumb strumming your lips. possessively, right as sleep engulfs you. the first few times you chalk it up to an erotic fantasy that only surfaces when you're exhausted and bordering on delirium.

however, it proves difficult to rationalize the voice. especially when he knows your name.

Last thing you googled: paypal because I was typing it into the search bar instead of the website by accident. But before that it was googling whether Word has a dictation function, because typing fic made my wrist hurt.

i want to get something off my chest.

therapy/counseling isn't bad. everyone can benefit from therapy. carlos and tk have both experienced so much trauma and ideally should see individual therapists in addition to a couple's counselor to work on their marriage but obviously for tv we aren't going to see that.

PTSD is very complex and affects every relationship in your life. it manifests in ways that are ugly or destructive.

i hope the writers give this justice and i hope we as a fandom can have nuance and empathy and acknowledge that mental health is important and showing how someone works through that is important.

ok so I've had an au in my head forever called the deserters where Marco, to his horror, survives the last suicide mission and goes a little crazy so he steals the time matrix and uses it to stop ax from being absorbed

what follows is marco trying to convince ax not to go back to the andalites while also dodging everyone who wants to kick his ass, including his own teammates, but I've always had problems with the beginning

the teenage girl character that everyone hates bc omg she's sooo annoying & everyone knows that the worst thing a girl can be is kind of irritating so everyone hates her and thinks she's vile and irredeemable (she's 15) and then the show goes on and her personality changes as she grows up and those same people are like omggg they ruined her character she's so different from how she used to be how could they do this it's such a shame 💔💔
