Disability Services Near Me
Disability Services Near Me help people with disabilities gain independence and participate fully in work, play, worship, community and travel. Our goal is a world where people with disabilities are valued for their contributions.
Our work begins with a person’s first steps toward independence. That’s why we support comprehensive employment and job training programs for individuals with disabilities. We also provide advocacy and legal representation to ensure a person’s rights are protected and they can access the supports they need.
The Center provides a free statewide resource network that helps you solve problems, navigate the system and plan for your future. From early intervention for your baby or toddler to social security benefits and more, learn about the laws that protect you and your family.
We advocate for the rights of individuals with disabilities and their families by educating and training agencies that serve them, advocates, attorneys, professionals, and the general public regarding issues related to disability rights. We provide information, referrals, and technical assistance, and conduct workshops on various topics that impact the lives of people with disabilities.
Our mission is to assist in the development and maintenance of a self-determined plan for individuals with developmental disabilities, including family members. This includes advocacy, education, training, community partnerships, and resource coordination. We offer a wide range of residential and day services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the greater North Dakota area. These services include group homes and specialized clinics, as well as a variety of supported living arrangements.
Social Security benefits provide cash to individuals who have a disabling illness or injury and who cannot work for a living. These benefits are available for adults who have worked long enough to qualify for Social Security benefits, and for children who have a disability that appears before age 22. We can assist you with your Social Security disability claims, and we can explain the rules that govern working while receiving benefits, how friends or family can be paid to help you, and more.

Through a nationwide network of affiliates, the Center provides educational resources and training to help parents navigate the complex system of services for their children with special needs. These resources cover early intervention (for babies and toddlers), special education services (for school-age children), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
At Independent Life Style Services, our key priority is to deliver top-of-the-line disability services that focus on home care for disabled people, young and old. Our operations and perspectives are guided by a mission, a vision, beliefs and core values that focus on supporting people with disabilities enjoy a fulfilling life.

The Sixth Blade - ... - Fear Itself
Last two days! Gubat Banwa launches on Kickstarter on October 10, and we need your help to get the word out! Silence your fear- stifle it if you must. Harness it if you can. Fear begets hesitation, Kadungganan, and when rivers bleed, and skies burn, and blades dance to the rhythm of cannonfire- Hesitation is death. Let the Sword Isles of Gubat Banwa paint your stories in its thousand colors, inspired by the intricate cultures of Southeast Asia. Carve your legacy into the world by blade and smoke as warrior Kadungganan in this tactical martial arts TTRPG.
Not long now until the long-anticipated KS launch, and I've been posting the weapons I've drawn for the game as a sort of countdown. These were supposed to be Swordtember drawings, but the launch got bumped back a little bit. 6/7 blades! The penultimate entry goes to the CORDILLERAN AXE
Some time in June 2020, a certain weapon was intercepted in Australia entering the country from the United States. An ancient terror-weapon, which brought low the conquistadors of old, and drenched the soil of the pine mountains such that the ground remains the color of rust. In November the following year, the ax was returned to the Philippines. Strap in- it's about to get really convoluted.
(Photo from the Philippine Embassy in Australia) You may be wondering why I referred to this blade as a "Cordilleran Ax" rather than using a native term like in the rest of this series. That is mostly because the ax comes in many forms, and bears many, many names. Seriously, you wouldn't believe how many names there are for these things.
(Photo from the collection of Nonoy Tan) They are commonly called "head axes" (we'll get to why in a minute- but you can probably guess), referring to a collective of different blades of a more-or-less similar shape, used by the peoples of the Cordilleras. "Igorot" is a general term used to refer to these peoples of the mountains of north Luzon.
(Diagram by Lorenz Lasco)
You will recall from the thread on the hinalung that Spain never took the Cordilleras, allowing the peoples there to more easily preserve their traditions and cultures. These axes belong to some of those same cultures. These- too- were preserved from way back.
(Figure from The Tingguian: Social, Religious, and Economic Life of a Philippine Tribe by Fay-Cooper Cole) It's easy to forget that these objects- all of the blades I've been posting about- are very deeply embedded in cultures that still exist today. These peoples have their own names and stories and knowledge of these blades that I simply do not have access to the way they do. It's all I can do to try and deliver accurate info without misrepresenting anything.
(Photo from the National Museum) And try I have. This is a diagram I tried to make as a reference, way, way back.
I know a bit more now, I'm not sure if I still stand by this, I am sure that it will need some updating. Due diligence is the bare minimum we can do, to respect the knowledge of people who are still around. Allow me to try again! The one I drew in the image at the start of this thread is called the SINAWIT. This is the Kalinga variant of the axe. From what I can tell, those with the curved/concave cutting edges tend to belong in this category.
(Photo from Pinoy Blade Hunter) Supposedly, the protrusion on the handle is also indicative of a Kalinga origin.
(Photo from Ursulo of Filipino Traditional Blades)
(Photos from Global Inventory of Filipiniana Artifacts) Here's some close-ups of another example, featuring ornamentation in the form of copper/copper-alloy "staples" along the handle, which may have also aided in providing grip.
(Photos from Lorenz Lasco) Variations in size are common across all the axes we'll be looking at, some are short and fit well in one-hand, others are large enough to accommodate two. The biggest ones I've seen are sinawit.
(Photo from Christian Vasquez of Filipino Traditional Blades)
(Photo from Ron Zambarrano) Next up is the GAMEN or GAMAN. This is the Bontoc variant of the axe. Here's a gamen (top) compared to a sinawit (bottom) of similar size. Notice the difference in the shapes of the blades.
(Photo from the collection of Zel Umali as shared by Filipino Traditional Blades) Another term that gets thrown around is "pinagas", though I believe this is a general term referring to all "head axes" rather than one specific variant. I could very well be wrong on this, as the word pinagas has to come from one of the many languages in the Cordlieeras- I'm just not certain which. This one was labelled "Bontoc pinagas".
(Photo from Zel Umali) The thickness of the blade tends to vary as durability requires. In particular, the spike on the back tends to be thicker overall. Portions of the blade closer to the handle appear to be thicker as well.
(Photos from Lorenz Lasco) Examples of the gaman as I have seen them tend to have more straight or sometimes convex blades. I am uncertain if the convex shape is a unique feature, or a product of happenstance, or just how whoever used this blade liked to sharpen it.
(Photo from Pinoy Blade Hunter) They also tend to be "taller" than sinawit I've seen, with blades that are almost like squares with spikes on the back, as opposed to sinawit that are more rectangular. Still following so far? Good- it's going to get more complicated soon.
I am not- by any means- formally educated on Philippine blades, so always take my words with a grain of salt. This ax inherited by a blacksmith in Baguio is something that might be gaman, but I can't categorize it with certainty without knowing more. The profile is not exactly the same, the spike is considerably longer and more curved.
(Photo from HanYan Blades) But that's the least of our worries! The ALIWA, BINARAWAD, BADAN, BADON, BINAROY are only some of the terms used to refer to the Isneg variants. Remember when I said it would get convoluted?
(Photo from Nonoy Tan; Identified as binarawad-badan-badon in that order) The binarawad in the previous photo looks- to my very untrained eye- to be similar to the gaman in many respects. Whenever I think I've identified a distinction, a different specimen shows up.
(??? from Rob Miller)
(Gaman(?) from Hearst Museum) Remember when I said the protrusion on the handle was uniquely Kalinga? But I also said taller/squarer blades were common in gaman? But the swept shape on the back looks emblematic of the Isneg variants we just saw? Identify that topmost blade for me, real quick.
(Photo from Pinoy Blade Hunter) Material exchange of culture makes a mess of categorization. The peoples of the Cordilleras regularly interacted- by trade, union, or warfare- and the influences clearly went all ways. Perhaps that blade above was made by a smith who took influences from a variety of sources. Perhaps the blade itself has worn out its old handle, and the new owner replaced it with this one There are a lot of ways this could have come about, it's difficult to say. Blades tend to make their way around. This sinawit- a Kalinga blade- has been passed down through generations, and was found in Sagada.
(Photo from Pinoy Blade Hunter) It certainly doesn't help when blades are found far from home and are labelled with confusing specific terms or useless general terms or just different terms entirely.
[Author's Note: Apparently there's a 30 image limit per post? I'll continue this in a reblog, I think.]

BRF Reading - 17th of October, 2024
This is speculation only
Cards drawn on the 17th of October, 2024
Question: How will the tour of Australia go for King Charles?
Note: I have asked this question multiple times, and I have got similar cards each time - some pleasant or mild warning/hiccup cards and then one horrible card at the end. So this reading is an example of what I have been pulling from my cards.
Note 2: I am biased about this tour. I do want it to go smoothly and for things to go well for The King, in part because of his health and in part because I am sick to my gut of activists hijacking events like this and twisting them for their own agendas.
Interpretation: Pleasant or minor irritations at first, and then a body blow at the end
Card One: The Page of Swords in reverse
Pages are messengers, and Swords are about thoughts and sometimes communications. It especially applies to communication via social media. The Page of Swords is one of my gossip cards and it can be very spiteful, in an immature kind of way - gossiping over mean things and not really realising the damage you are causing. Here the card is in the reverse, so the nasty gossip side of it is strengthened. It indicates negative messages being sent out via social media, or just the media in general (not PR - that is wands - but supposedly unbiased articles that are anything but unbiased).
The energy from this card is of bad press or mixed press. The King's tour is not going to be covered in only glowing terms. I have seen this already in the Australian press, and it remains to be seen how much, if any, is picked up by the international press. I also think there is a contingent of people lurking online ready to use The King as publicity to push their cause, whatever that cause may be. So if The King expects glowing reviews or not to be misinterpreted in the press, he is going to be disappointed. People are going to use him for their own agenda, and the coverage of his tour will not be unbiased.
The Page of Swords can also refer to new ideas, or innovative ideas, which could reference The King's visit to the CSIRO cancer researchers on this tour. If so, the response to that visit is most likely to be mixed.
Note: This card has come up repeatedly in my readings, from both decks of cards that were used.
Card Two: The Two of Pentacles
This is a card about balance, especially balancing your resources. Pentacles represent material things, including your body. The energy of this card is of The King balancing his physical needs against the activities he wants to attend. The tour has already been cut down a lot to accommodate those needs, but things may need to be changed on a day to day basis to keep The King in good health. The message here is for The King to watch his health, to make sure things are balanced and he e.g. gets enough rest, to ask for activities to be shortened or to leave early if he needs to do that. As an aside, I hope they have fixed the itinerary so he is not travelling back and forth between Sydney and Canberra all the time. Aside from the carbon emissions involved, travel is exhausting and if they can minimise the travel involved it will be better for The King.
Card Three: The Ten of Swords
This is what I mean by a horrible card at the end. I've has this card come up in multiple readings, and if not the 10 of Swords it is the Three of Swords (heartbreak) or the Seven of Swords (the thief card, dodgy business). Ahem. Anyway, back to the reading..
The Ten of Swords is a card of betrayal, of hitting rock bottom, of ruin, failure, being victimised etc. Something is going to happen that really hurts The King. This is the last card of the reading so this will most likely happen towards the end of the short tour, but that is not definite. The energy of the card is of betrayal - of The King being betrayed and stabbed in the back by actions from a source that he did not expect. This may be the media turning on him, given the Page of Swords reversed at the start of the reading, or it may come from another source. It could be something private as opposed to something public. Something is going to happen that will be like a knife through The King's heart.
I drew a clarifier for this, asking what is the ten of swords about, and I drew the Two of Cups in reverse, which is another card that has appeared in multiple readings on this topic and across both decks I have used (as has its major arcana version, The Lovers). The Two of Cups is about partnerships, romantic, family, business etc, and in the reverse it indicates a breakdown in the partnership. There is going to be a parting of ways while the King is on tour - between two people, or between two organisations, or between a person and an organisation etc. This parting will be unexpected in its announcement, and it will hurt The King. I'm not getting anything else from the cards.
Underlying Energy: The Moon in Reverse
The Moon is a card of secrets, illusions, things not being as they appear. In the reverse, some of those secrets are going to come to light. We are going to get secrets being exposed on this tour. They may be small things, or things that happened long ago, as per the article in the Australian mainstream media that I have linked below, or they may be bigger secrets with more serious consequences.
Conclusion:
It's mixed news. It looks like the tour will go fairly well for the King, with the media doing their usual 'stir things up for click bait' articles, as long as he makes sure to balance his activities with the rest he needs for his health. I am saying fairly well as I'm not getting any major indicators of disaster in the first two cards - their energy is more of irritations than absolute disasters.
However, during the tour, there will be an event or events (I hope it is only one) that that will involve the breaking of a partnership, that will be like a knife to the heart of The King. This event will hurt The King very deeply.
Underneath the tour is the energy of secrets coming to light, which may be small ones (as per the article below), or there could be bigger secrets coming to light that form part of the betrayal energy from the Ten of Swords.
Article I mentioned in the reading, on the royals page of Nine Honey (the celebrity/entertainment/gossip section of Channel Nine News) as at 12.16am 18th of October 2024.

Excerpt from this Op-Ed from The New Republic:
The terrifying truth of the climate and mass extinction crises is that we don’t understand all that we stand to lose. And without extraordinary acts of imagination and foresight, as a society, we won’t understand what’s being lost till it’s too late—at which time we’ll have to look back at what we might have done with a heartbreak and remorse that have no remedy.
So we need to protect the living world with the best tool we have: the law.
Evolution is slow, while the climate is changing at a breakneck pace. For organisms like elephants and whales, who can live as long as we do, or trees, who live much longer, both the path to potential adaptation to this rapidly morphing planet and the path to our understanding may stretch beyond any time frame that could help us to save them before the clock strikes midnight.
Small animals, whose lives and reproductive cycles tend to be shorter, can be more readily studied across generations. Some researchers have seen signs of resilience: Mother zebra finches in Australia, one scientist found, warn the embryos inside their eggs of warming conditions outside by uttering certain calls. The chicks those embryos hatch into have lower birth weights than those who weren’t exposed to the mothers’ calls, which helps the young birds stay cool in hot weather. Lizards in Miami appeared to lower their cold-tolerance thresholds in response to a cold snap in 2020, which might defend against future environmental fluctuations; certain male dragonflies grow paler in warmer weather, losing some of the bright ornamentation that attracts females but making them less vulnerable to overheating.
But examples of seemingly speedy accommodation are tiny flags fluttering on a battlefield where the overwhelming outlook for biodiversity is catastrophic. Instead of shifting gradually over thousands or even millions of years, environments are being transformed so fast that adaptive mechanisms don’t have the opportunity to kick in.
In many cases, due to human-caused habitat loss and other pressures, of which the unstable climate is a massive threat multiplier, strategies that may have saved other life forms historically are no longer available to them: Pikas, for instance—cute little squeaking mammals native to western North America and Asia—may be able to move up a mountain to reach colder climes as the lower elevations get too hot, but if they reach the peak and it gets hot too, well … there’s nothing left for that wingless pika but the bare blue sky. The desert where I live is getting too hot even for arid-adapted wildlife—a lizard that had thrived in Arizona’s Mule Mountains for three million years is now newly believed extinct, and plants from the small acuña cactus to the Seussian Joshua tree are struggling to hang on.
The list of our dependencies on the other beings with whom we’ve coevolved is nearly infinite. So visionary policy is called for to protect those other beings and systems—not only for their intrinsic and cultural value but because they’re our life support, worth far more to our continued welfare intact than liquidated for short-term profit. If the goal is a livable future, for which we need to achieve a paradigm shift from exploitation to conservation, the services these networks of life supply need to be fully and properly valued. Their right to exist has to be enshrined in law.
Both domestically and internationally, species and ecosystems need to be endowed with legal standing to give local and native stewards the tools to save them from the depredations of industry in the short term and sustain them over the long.
Luckily, bestowing legal standing on extra-human parties isn’t a fanciful idea: The U.S. Supreme Court did exactly that in the 2010 case known as Citizens United, when it declared that corporations were legal persons—a decision that hobbled American democracy but also set a neat precedent for extending legal personhood to nonhuman entities. And corporations are clearly more abstract and disembodied than animals: Just a couple of weeks ago scientists and philosophers from many nations published the New York Declaration on Animal Consciousness, which argues for the likelihood of consciousness in all vertebrates and many invertebrates, including cephalopods and insects.

dia dhuit! i was wondering why you dont like leo varadkar? this is completely genuine, im a young irish person who knows very little about irish politics and would love to learn more, ive seen a lot of leo hate but im not sure where it comes from, and i respect your opinions on other things so i was hoping you would be willing to explain a little?? no worries if not, go raibh maith agat!! <333
dia dhuit! thanks for this ask, getting really annoying about politics is unfortunately one of my favourite hobbies 🙏
i’d like to start by saying that i am biased against varadkar since i lean left politically, and therefore have never voted fine gael and will never vote fine gael, because i don’t believe that their policies/promises/ideas are what’s best for ireland in the short or long term, and are often actively damaging.
leo varadkar has been the leader of fine gael since 2017, and his party has been in government since then. in that time:
• child homelessness in ireland has reached its highest ever recorded level
• he and his government ended the no-fault eviction ban during the worst housing crisis this country has ever seen
• our hospital systems reach breaking point every winter, and in 2022, 60% of newly trained doctors emigrated to Australia
• the mother and baby home records have been sealed for 30 years, against heavy protests from the victims and their families
and in terms of varadkar more personally, i just think he’s a very unpleasant politician:
• his ‘welfare cheats cheat us all’ campaign was hateful to its core, and incredibly ironic considering the dodgy accountancy going on in gov depts
• leaked confidential information of GP pay deals to a friend
• just google “tiny tim should get a job”
• is a landlord. enough said
i do want to stress that i vehemently disagree with some criticisms of varadkar, namely those coming from ireland’s far right wing. accusations against him include: that he has let immigration spiral out of control and ireland is full (this is fascist rhetoric used to justify the arson attacks against various asylum seeker accommodations), that he has let ‘trans ideology’ (whatever that is) dominate our schools (blatantly untrue. if anything, varadkar still has a long way to go before he is anywhere near as progressive as he should be regarding trans rights). lots of these far right wing criticisms are heightened against varadkar since he is of indian descent and openly gay.
in fact, i will give one (1) small bit of praise to varadkar: i thought he handled brexit okay. but apart from that? i can’t say much
fine gael have been in government for over a decade, and our most successful feats (gay marriage referendum, abortion referendum) have come as a result of grassroots campaigners. i do not think that fine gael, especially under varadkar’s leadership, has helped ireland. as a young adult trying to live in dublin, i feel the effects of the housing crisis every day. i feel the effects of our government’s apathy towards young people every day. this is leo varadkar’s government, and so yes i do blame him
#i have probably forgotten a lot of stuff but here you go anon!#please do further research too! it’s always good to stay up to date on politics#now i have to run because my dissertation is due in uh. 36 hours. oof#asks

17 Direct Benefits to Study in Ireland for Indian Students
Do you know why a 1-year study in Ireland for Indian students is sought after heavily these days?
Many courses, MS in Computer Science, IT, Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Management, and Business Analytics rank among the top 10 worldwide.
Most Indian students opt for a Master’s program for the benefits we have enlisted below. Graduating with these above MS degrees in Ireland guarantees high chances of employment in Ireland.
Also, universities in Ireland boast high research outputs, the hallmark of an excellent postgraduate study destination.
Award-winning journalist, John Kennedy, calls Ireland the AI island, highlighting the nation’s advancements in technological research.
Study in Ireland for Indian students: 17 Benefits
Ireland is the best destination for Indian students due to its top universities, affordable 1-year master’s programmes, and 2-year post-study work visas. These are just a few reasons out of many that Ireland has to offer you.
Below are the benefits why an MS in Ireland or MBA in Ireland is lucrative and will be life-altering. Notably, as an Indian student, you get several advantages.
Some benefits grace you even before you start your journey!
1. You don’t require a GRE score…
You can still study at Irish universities such as Trinity and UCD. Irish universities, which are in the same league as the US universities, which accept Indian students even without a GRE score.
Isn’t this appealing enough to apply to study in Ireland as an Indian student?
Hence, to get into an Irish university, Indian students require an excellent academic record and scores on one of these tests – IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, and Duolingo.
GRE & GMAT is not required by almost all Irish universities (UCD & TCD may ask for GMAT scores for their MBA degrees).
2. English Language Proficiency Training
All English-speaking countries expect their international students to be well-versed in English, as does Ireland.
But aren’t your English proficiency test scores suitable enough to secure admission?
Not to worry. Irish universities offer Pre-sessional English language programs. These short-term courses are designed to help you gain the skills needed to prepare for exams like IELTS, TOEFL, DET, and PTE.
3. How much study gap is acceptable in Ireland?
The answer is…
Study gaps don’t matter for Irish universities!
As long as you can explain the gap between your last academic year and the time of application, you are as good as any other person without a study gap.
Various reasons, such as employment, vacation, health issues, and business ventures, can be used to explain your study gap. You can provide these reasons in your Statement of Purpose.
Sarem Education will help Indian students with their Statements Of Purpose to study in Ireland.
4. Cost of studying in Ireland is lower for Indian students
Compared to studying in the USA, UK, and Australia, an MS degree in Ireland costs less.
Cost of study in Ireland for Indian students:
Place of study EUROS INR
Universities 12,000 to 36,000 9,97,000 to 28,89,000
Institute of Technology 12,000 to 17,000 9,97,000 to 13,63,000
Colleges 13,000 to 15,000 10,80,000 to 12,00,000
Tuition fee is the most significant cost component, while other expenses like accommodation, student visa, medical insurance, and the like typically cost between €7,000 (5 to 9 lakhs) to €12,000 per year.
There are also independent colleges in Ireland where Indian students can study for lesser fees.
Provided you have the necessary work experience, colleges such as Dublin Business School, Griffith College Dublin, and National College of Ireland should be a sweet deal!
Consultancies do love adhering to “get rich overnight schemes” by giving Indian students the aforementioned options to study in Ireland. However, we do not do that here.
Here is some honest information. Freshers would find it daunting to land a job after graduation from these places. So, apply here at your own risk.
However, experienced candidates should be able to land a job thanks to their experience.
With a part-time job or a paid internship, you can further reduce your expenses to study at an Irish university. We advise that you search for the right one where you can balance your studies with your part-time work.
Just ensure you don’t do anything you will regret on your academic side.
5. Study in Ireland for Indian students: Scholarships
Here is a list of scholarships available for students looking to study in Ireland.
Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships Programme, sponsored by the Higher Education Authority (HEA)
The Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme
Scholarships by the Irish Research Council for Humanities and Social Sciences (IRCHSS)
About 60 students get this scholarship which pays them 10,000 euros per year. These Ireland scholarships make life extremely easy for Indian students.
6. The 3 benefits of studying 1-year masters in Ireland
Undoubtedly, Indian students are constantly under pressure to settle down quickly. Studying a 1-year Master’s program at an Irish university can help you alleviate this.
You can fast-forward your dreams of graduating with an MS degree and happily settle abroad sooner than your counterparts in other countries!
Let us enlist and explain the benefits below:
Return to the workforce with world-class skills sooner: Sometimes, students take a 1-year leave to finish their degree and resume work with their previous employer. This is possible if you do a Masters in Ireland. Moreover, a 1-year break for education will also be less harsh on your resume. You can also join the workforce sooner and ease off your loans.
Costs Less: Compared to a 2-year course, studying for a 1-year Masters in Ireland is cheaper. A shorter duration means you pay lesser rent, living expenses, etc.
Resume: In any Master’s course in Ireland, you must complete 90 credits within a year. Inevitably, you will be putting in tons of hard work throughout the year. Consequently, this can bode well for your resume.
7. 100% visa approval
Ireland and India faced the brunt and after-effects of British imperialism and colonization in the 1900s.
Now, both countries share cordial relations owing to which there is less than a 5% chance for your visa to get rejected for Indian students to study in Ireland.
Not impressed?
DAVID FLOOD, Director, India, and South Asia, Enterprise Ireland, shares an impressive stat. The Irish visa approval rate for Indian students has grown by over 95% in the last 5 years.
So what happens to Indian students after they come to study in Ireland?
8. Globally Ranking Universities
Did you know securing admission to Irish universities would allow you to study at one of the top-ranked universities globally? Five universities in Ireland rank within the top 500 globally, and three are within the top 1000.
Trinity College, University College Dublin, University College Cork, University of Galway, University of Limerick, Dublin City University, Maynooth University, and Technological University Dublin are the universities on the list.
9. Highly quality education
The International Graduate Insight Group (i-graduate) found that students pursuing an MS degree in Ireland reported high student satisfaction with their academic experience.
Of course! Why wouldn’t they?
All MS degrees in Ireland are one year in duration. You will be prepared to enter the workforce within one year.
Irish universities and institutions are globally renowned for their programs in Science, Technology, Maths, Teaching, Medicine, Business, and Finance, accredited and recognized worldwide.
Most importantly, the tuition fee is way cheaper to study in Ireland for Indian students than in other top destinations.
Also, Irish universities are ranked among the best in the world regarding gender equality and climate action as per Times Higher Education’s (THE) university impact rankings.
10. Part-time opportunities in Ireland while studying
During their study in Ireland, Indian students can work for up to 20 hours a week.
According to labour statistics, Ireland has more than 400,000 people employed part-time. As regional investment grows and new businesses pop up, part-time jobs shall also grow steadily.
Irish universities also offer teaching assistant positions where students can assist professors with their academic commitments and get paid for them.
Indian students studying in Ireland will be allowed to work 40 hours per week only from June to September & from 15th December to 15th January inclusive. At all other times, students will be allowed to work 20 hours per week while they study.
11. Hub for global corporations
Ireland’s technological ambience is nothing to be scoffed at.
Ireland houses more than 1000 multinational companies, mainly because of Ireland‘s liberal FDI policies and ease of doing business. This opens doors for talent across the world.
Many of these MNCs seek MS degree holders from Irish universities in areas like Artificial Intelligence, ICT, telecom and life sciences.
Several companies – like Google, Facebook, Airbnb, Roche, Abbott, and others – have their European headquarters in Ireland. There are several hundreds of internships for fresher Indian students studying in Ireland.
Down the road, this ups their chances of securing full-time employment.
12. Safe, friendly, party and quality of lifestyle
Consumed by excitement while applying for a Masters, one would leave caution to the wind and fail to read about the destination’s attitude towards international students.

Consequently, between 2013-2017, Ireland saw a 45% increase in international students entering Ireland.
As of 2015, about 26,000 Indians reside in Ireland, of whom about 9,000 are second-generation Indians. They occupy roles in healthcare (doctors and nurses), IT, engineering, and senior management positions.
According to DBEI (Department of Business, Enterprise, and Innovation), the majority of work permits were obtained by Indian students than any other nationality in various fields such as IT, ICT, Finance, Medical, and Business in 2022.
You can see several local businesses in Dublin with Indian owners and managers, which may get you part-time jobs if you can get their patronage. “Muqqabla” and “Urvashi” are some music tracks that rock the corridors of these local businesses. So there is no need to forget the rice, dal, and curry after you leave India.

Affordable Accommodation Options in Australia for Students
Australia is a dream destination for many international students seeking quality education and vibrant cultural experiences. However, the cost of living, including accommodation, can be a concern for students on a tight budget. Fortunately, there are various affordable accommodation options across the country to suit students' needs without breaking the bank. Here are some tips and suggestions for finding cheap accommodation in Australia for students:
1. University Accommodation: Many universities in Australia offer on-campus accommodation options that are specifically tailored to students' needs and budgets. These accommodations often come with the convenience of being close to campus facilities and services. While prices may vary depending on the university and location, on-campus accommodation is generally a cost-effective option compared to private rentals.
2. Shared Accommodation: Sharing a house or apartment with other students is a popular choice among international students in Australia. This option allows students to split the rent and other living expenses, making it more affordable than living alone. Websites and social media groups dedicated to finding roommates or shared accommodation can be valuable resources for students looking to team up with others.
3. Homestays: Homestays offer students the opportunity to live with a local family while studying in Australia. This option not only provides affordable accommodation but also allows students to immerse themselves in the Australian culture and lifestyle. Homestays typically include meals and other amenities, making them a convenient and budget-friendly choice for international students.
4. Student Housing Providers: Several student housing providers operate across major cities in Australia, offering purpose-built accommodation for students. These providers often offer furnished apartments or shared rooms with inclusive utilities and amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and communal areas. While prices may vary depending on the location and facilities offered, student housing providers generally offer competitive rates tailored to students' budgets.
5. Budget Accommodation Options: For students looking for temporary or short-term accommodation, budget-friendly options such as hostels, guesthouses, and backpacker accommodations can be viable choices. While these accommodations may not offer the same level of privacy as other options, they are often the cheapest available and provide a great opportunity to meet fellow travelers and students from around the world.
6. Online Platforms: Utilizing online platforms and websites dedicated to rental listings can help students find affordable accommodation options in Australia. Websites like Gumtree, Flatmates, and Student are popular among students for finding rental listings, shared accommodation, and student-specific housing options.
7. Government Assistance: Some state governments in Australia offer financial assistance or subsidies to eligible students to help cover accommodation expenses. Students should explore available options and eligibility criteria through government websites or student support services offered by their educational institutions.
8. Early Planning: Planning ahead and starting the accommodation search well in advance can give students more options and better opportunities to secure affordable accommodation. As demand for student accommodation in Australia can be high, especially during peak periods, early planning is key to finding the best deals.
In conclusion, while Australia offers a high standard of living and quality education, finding affordable accommodation is possible for students through various options such as university accommodation, shared living arrangements, homestays, student housing providers, budget accommodations, online platforms, and government assistance programs. By exploring these options and planning ahead, students can enjoy their time studying in Australia without compromising their budget.

What Is a Disability Services Provider?
A Disability Service Provider is an organization that offers services for disabled people. These organizations help disabled individuals to live their lives to the fullest by empowering them and giving them opportunities to explore their potential. They also help them to develop their interpersonal skills and improve their ability to participate in community activities. This way, they can become confident and independent.
The Bergen County Division of Disability Services (BCDDS) was the first such office in New Jersey. It is an independent, non-profit organization that provides a wide variety of programs and services for persons with disabilities. Some of these include home and community-based habilitation, advocacy, and education. The BCDDS also provides support and training for families of children with disabilities.
Various types of disability services provider are available for those who have a physical, sensory or cognitive impairment. These services may be provided in homes, schools, clinics and hospitals. Some are even provided in the community, such as shopping centers and recreation areas. In addition, some are offered through private agencies or nonprofit groups. Nevertheless, it is essential to consider the different disability services available before deciding which one is best for you or your loved one.
Many people have a difficult time finding the right disability service providers to meet their specific needs. This is especially true for those with cognitive or learning disabilities, who often find it challenging to interact with other people and express their thoughts. In some cases, these individuals can feel overwhelmed by the number of options and can end up not receiving the help they need. To avoid this, you should choose a service provider that understands your needs and can work with you to provide the appropriate supports and services.
If you are a student with a disability, you may want to take advantage of the services offered by your college's office of Disability Services. These offices can verify students' eligibility for accommodations and arrange for crucial auxiliary aids such as note takers, readers, sign language interpreter services, priority registration and alternative testing arrangements. They can also assist with navigating the campus and providing information about academic support resources.

How to Write a Perfect SOP for Your Study Abroad Application
The Statement of Purpose (SOP) is one of the most critical documents for your study abroad application. It is your chance to showcase your personality, aspirations, and how the program aligns with your career goals. A well-written SOP can make your application stand out and convince universities to offer you admission.
At Triospace Overseas, the best study abroad consultants in Hyderabad, we guide students in crafting impactful SOPs for universities in Australia, the USA, the UK, Germany, and more. We also assist with exam preparation, accommodation, and other essential services to make your study abroad journey successful.
What is an SOP?
An SOP is a personal essay that explains:
Who you are as a student and professional.
Why you want to study a specific course.
Why you chose a particular university and country.
Your future goals and how the program will help you achieve them.
Why is the SOP Important?
The SOP allows admissions committees to understand your motivations, academic background, and future aspirations. A compelling SOP helps you stand out among thousands of applicants and demonstrates your commitment to the program.
Steps to Write the Perfect SOP
1. Understand the Requirements
Before you begin writing, carefully read the university’s SOP guidelines. Some institutions may provide specific prompts, word limits, or formatting rules. Adhere to these instructions to ensure your SOP meets their expectations.
2. Start with a Strong Introduction
Your introduction should grab the reader’s attention. Begin with a personal story, a thought-provoking quote, or an achievement that relates to your chosen field. For example:
“Growing up, I was fascinated by the power of technology to solve real-world problems. This passion inspired me to pursue computer science, and today, I aspire to contribute to the field by advancing AI technologies.”
3. Highlight Your Academic and Professional Background
Briefly outline your educational qualifications and professional experiences. Emphasize achievements that are relevant to your chosen course. Be concise but specific. For instance:
“During my undergraduate studies in business management, I developed strong analytical skills and leadership abilities. My internship at XYZ Company allowed me to apply these skills to real-world scenarios, where I successfully led a team to complete a market analysis project.”
4. Explain Your Reasons for Choosing the Course
Clearly state why you are interested in the specific course and how it aligns with your career aspirations. Avoid generic statements and focus on how the program’s curriculum meets your academic and professional needs.
5. Justify Your Choice of University and Country
Highlight the unique features of the university and the country that influenced your decision. For example:
The university’s faculty, research opportunities, or facilities.
The country’s education system, cultural diversity, or industry exposure.
6. Discuss Your Future Goals
Outline your short-term and long-term goals and explain how the course will help you achieve them. For instance:
Short-term goal: Securing a position as a data analyst.
Long-term goal: Establishing your own data-driven consultancy.
7. Conclude with Impact
End your SOP on a confident and optimistic note. Reaffirm your commitment to the program and your enthusiasm for contributing to the university community.
Dos and Don’ts of SOP Writing
Dos
Use clear and concise language.
Be authentic and honest.
Proofread for grammar and spelling errors.
Tailor your SOP for each university.
Don’ts
Copy templates or samples word-for-word.
Use clichés like “I always dreamed of studying abroad.”
Exceed the word limit.

Document Checklist for Australia E-Visa: Everything You Need to Know
Are you planning to visit Australia and wondering what documents you need for an e-visa? Applying for an Australia e-visa is straightforward, but ensuring you have all the required documents is essential for a smooth process. Here’s a detailed document checklist for your Australia e-visa application.
1. Passport
Your passport is the most crucial document for any visa application. For an Australia e-visa, make sure that:
Your passport is valid for at least six months from the date of your entry into Australia.
You provide a clear scan of your passport bio page.
The passport should have blank pages for entry and exit stamps upon arrival.
2. Passport-Size Photograph
A recent passport-sized photograph is usually required for the application. Check these specifications:
Photo size: 45mm high x 35mm wide (as per Australian visa standards)
Plain background with no shadows or obstructions
Clear, full-face view without headgear, unless for religious reasons
Digital photo format if applying online
3. Proof of Financial Means
Australia often requires proof that you have sufficient funds to cover your stay. Documents that can serve as financial proof include:
Bank statements from the last three to six months
Recent payslips
Credit card statements
Travel expense proof like hotel reservations, flight bookings, etc.
4. Travel Itinerary
A travel itinerary demonstrates your purpose and plan for the visit. Here’s what to include:
Flight bookings (to and from Australia)
Accommodation details (hotel reservations or a friend/family invitation if staying with them)
Planned activities or locations you intend to visit
Tip: It’s generally advised to book refundable tickets and accommodation in case of delays.
5. Purpose of Travel Documents
Depending on your purpose for traveling (tourism, business, or study), you might need specific documents:
Tourist Visa: A personal statement or invitation letter if visiting friends or family.
Business Visa: An invitation from the Australian business entity, conference details, or a letter from your employer stating your purpose of visit.
Student Visa: An offer letter or enrollment confirmation from the educational institution in Australia.
6. Health Insurance (Optional but Recommended)
While not mandatory for short-term visits, having health insurance is strongly advised. Australian healthcare is excellent but can be costly for international travelers.
Ensure your health insurance:
Covers the duration of your stay
Includes emergency medical treatment and hospital care
7. Character Documents
Australia requires applicants to meet specific character requirements. Documents may include:
Police Clearance Certificates: If requested, you may need to submit a police clearance from your country.
Declaration of No Criminal History: Some applicants need to complete a character declaration form if there is any history of legal issues.
8. Additional Supporting Documents (If Applicable)
Depending on your nationality and application specifics, you may need to provide additional documents such as:
Employment verification letters (for business or long-term stays)
Proof of relationships (if you’re applying with family)
Evidence of previous travel (e.g., visas for other countries)
How to Ensure a Successful Australia E-Visa Application
Now that you have the checklist, follow these best practices to streamline your application process:
Double-Check Document Clarity: Ensure all documents are clear, legible, and meet the Australian Department of Home Affairs specifications.
Stay Updated: Australian visa requirements can change, so review the latest guidelines on the official website or consult an immigration expert.
Organize Documents in Advance: Missing documents can delay your visa application, so start preparing these documents as early as possible.
Final Thoughts
The Australia e-visa application process is easy if you have all the required documents prepared. By following this checklist, you’ll increase your chances of a swift and successful application.
