tbh, I kinda like how your electroswing friend group are in solidarity of different orientations - feedback being gay, vox being bi, and n being pan (ik ur partner headcanoned N to be bi, but whatevs :] bi/pan N rules as a bi/pan guy myself lol). And not to mention how each of them are dating/in relationships w/ different genders--like big chill (nonbinary), alastor (male), and uzi (female). I think its pretty wholesome and VERY queer cuz its like "wow, three guys in a friendship dating three different genders" - especially with feedback and big chill bc I NEVER and RARELY see representation of a gay guy dating someone who's nonbinary and that just warms my heart 💙🖤💚

Core Gems

So when a ghost becomes injured, they have a last ditch defense where they retreat into their core. And I mean, injured badly where their body is rip apart to the point they can’t hold a solid form anymore. And they basically go into a hibernation state until they are strong enough to form again.

Ellie, Danny, and Dan are all injured in a final battle against the GIW. The organization was destroyed and the ghosts were safe but the halfas ended up being so injured that they reverted to core form and then went to sleep for a bit. When they woke up, they were still weak but at least recovered enough to gain consciousness. And realize…they are in some kind of auction…in the middle of a heist. It appeared that two furries (one in a bat costume and one in a cat costume) were ducking it out. And they…they were a necklace. All three of them had been turned into a necklace with their cores as gems accompanied by sapphires, pearls, and opals. And frankly gorgeous craftsmanship as the metal was crafted around their cores as if to cradle them and the other gems.

Unfortunately, they were too weak to take a form properly, they could still feel the strain on their bodies. But at least they could still communicate through their auras. Then the cat lady punched a hole in the glass container surrounding them and grabbed their necklace.

However, the bat grabbed the other end and it resulted in a sort of tug-a-war. Meanwhile, Danny, Ellie, and Dan were having a back and form commentary on the situation and what they should do. Completely unheard by the other party.

In the corner of their eye, the three halfas finally noticed a third contender. Some kind of clown who was…hold on…holding a gun?! And it was pointed straight at the two fighting furies who had yet to notice him. The ghosts’ protective instincts went into overdrive and they frantically tried to shout, yell, move. Just do something to warn the two but their cries fell on deaf ears. All they succeeded in doing was faintly glow which immediatly caught the attention of the fighting duo. The two turned to look at the strange necklace but right at that moment, the clown fired and a gunshot rang throughout the auction room. Having no other options, Danny and the others poured every ounce of ectoplasm they had to try and phaseshift, making the two furries intangible as the bullets passed right through them, but in their shock, the two jumped away in opposite directions and accidentally ripped the necklace apart. Gems and pearls went flying and the three cores bounced along the ground.

Luckily, the two finally noticed the clown and went to deal with him and his minions who had appeared. Seemingly putting their fight on hold and forming a temporary truce. The three halfas could only watch as the battle finally wound down, ending with the cops barging into the place and arresting the clown and his grunts, the cat managing to escape with half the scattered gems and pearls from the broken necklace along with a few other jewelry pieces (none of their cores though) and the bat leaving through a skylight.

The auction continued and in the end, despite being broken, their necklace seemed to have caught someone’s interest. A man named Bruce Wayne bought up every piece of the shattered jewelry wear. The auctioneers appeared relived that the item managed to sell in the end and gratefully gave it to him.

Bruce had no idea what happened at the auction, but he could have sworn that some of the gems faintly glowed right before he and Selina were shot. If the necklace was some sort of magical item, then he needed to understand exactly what has been brought to Gotham. It was unfortunate that Selena had taken some parts of the necklace but he utilized his vast wealth to make sure all the other parts ended in his possession. Now he would take them back to the mansion for examination.

I recently watched Tombstone, so.

Ice whose grandparents own a ranch and when he was younger, he spent every summer there, no matter how much his dad didn't like it. And maybe he doesn't have as much time when he gets older, but he still knows his way around the place, knows how everything works and where he can help.

Maybe he even has a horse that's half his, that was born in the spring when he was ten and he spent the whole summer that year playing around with it and his granparents include updates on it in every letter they send when he's on duty.

It's practically a second home to him, even if he doesn't talk about it much, so when he brings up introducing Mav to his grandparents, Mav isn't quite sure what to expect.

It's certainly not Ice driving off the highway and on a dirtroad, nothing but fields for miles, then a fence with a herd of cows behind it that they follow all the way through a ranch gate.

It's certainly not an older man in a cowboy hat and a plaid shirt coming out of the barn that smiles wide when Ice gets out of the car, or Ice himself grinning more than Mav has probably ever seen him.

"Tommy!" The old man calls out, affection clear in his tone as he starts walking towards them. "And here I was thinkin' ya wouldn't make it this year!"

But perhaps the biggest surprise is the twang that comes out of Ice's mouth. "I wouldn't miss this for nothin', grandpa! Ain't no way!"

tbh, I'm a bit curious to how the Electroswing Friend group (aka Vox, Feedback and N--that's my rendering of their group name) would be like if they were to talk to each other about their partners (I.e. Alastor, Big Chill and Uzi)

First of all, LOVE the name

Second of all, I’ve thought about something like this before, and I would say it’ll be something like this:

Feedback: *sitting at a lounge with the others* So when you first met, you tried to kill her and then she blasted your head off with a railgun that she made?

N: I know *blushes and wags his tail* Isn’t she awesome?

Vox: *chuckled* It’s like love at first sight, huh?

N: Yeah. What about you guys?

Feedback: Well, for me, my partner, Big Chill, is literally cool. As in “cold” cool. Their species can survive any harsh conditions or environments. In a desert? Couldn’t feel the heat. In the arctic? Might as well be a spring vacation for them. Under water or in space? They just kept on breathing like it was nothing

Vox: Goddamn. Are you serious?

Feedback: I’ve seen them in action, and their home planet. It’s literally half ice and half fire

N: Ooooh! My home planet is a toxic winter wasteland. Maybe they can visit us sometime

Feedback: Maybe. If Necrofriggians can survive toxic air. And what about you, Vox?

Vox: Well, Alastor may not be an alien or a drone, but he is a very powerful demon. Not only that, but he’s creepy as f-

Feedback covers N’s head and glares at him while N looks at him in confusion

Vox: And what I meant by that is that he can grow big with shadow creatures around him while his antlers grow like tree branches, and can devour anyone in seconds

ngl it's weird that after like 300(?) years of ruling, rhysand still only has four people in his court he can actually trust. he's built no good will with anyone at the court of nightmares. the Illyrian camp commanders don't respect him and constantly push back against his law as high lord with wing clipping and refusing to train the females in the camps. so basically that means all issues with Illyria fall on cassian's shoulders, and mor is the only one he trusts to deal with CoN issues (except she doesn't at all). azriel "operates from the shadows" and amren does...? something? idk. how is this any way to rule?

...i think that helaena and aegon actually canonically have the best relationship of all of viserys' kids to each other at this point by virtue of them not actively wanting each other dead (aegon & aemond, aegon & rhaenyra, rhaenyra & aemond) and not being virtual strangers (daeron and all his siblings and rhaenyra & helaena). they've also never threatened to kill the other or told each other how they're going to die (helaena & aemond).
