End of Evangelion “pipe organ cover” series, by The Organeers. Spreading the word.

I must spread the word about these glorious pipe organ covers of the End of Evangelion soundtrack, performed by a channel called the Organeers on YouTube. If you’re in a cult-like obsession with the EoE soundtrack like me, you’ll absolutely love these. The use of pipe organs for each song really emphasizes the emotion and power behind them. Not only that, but the covers themselves are full of detail, and are exquisite. The cover for “Expansion of Blockade,” my favorite song of all time, actually made me tear up a bit. And “Komm, Süsser Tod” feels incredibly more eerie. I’ve linked each video below, including an extra cover of Borderline Case at the end. I’ve listed them in order of timing in the movie.

A box set containing 5 Audio CDs, inside a slipcase. Red CDs and transparent CD trays. The booklet reproduces those of the individual releases. An aditional booklet includes tracklists for all the CDs. A gatefold covered with images from the series holds the CD trays. MSRP $90 U.S.D.

There are a total of 120 tracks. (If you like Fly Me To The Moon, there are 20 different versions of it) XD

Overall, I have no complain about this box set: the quality of materials and printing is oustanding. It's also cheaper than the individual releases.

I bought this box set over a year ago. I've listened all the albums several times now. "The Heady Feeling of Freedom" and "Good, or Don't Be" remain among my favorite songs. Nostalgia hits hard with some versions of good old "Fly Me To The Moon".
