Apparently the Pseudo-Legendary—sorry, Powerhouse Pokemon outbreaks in Scarlet and Violet ended yesterday, assuming you're one of those people who always connects to the Poke Portal daily. Hope everyone managed to find the shinies they wanted!

...Some are certainly more agreeable than others, as Red found out.

A Wild Time Traveler!

I decided to train a new Pokémon for Violet Version.

It’s Goometa. But I’ve decided to take advantage of his high defenses by evolving him into a Hisuian Sliggoo.

I’m keeping him in Pokémon HOME for now. But pretty soon, I’ll have a powerhouse of a Hisuian Goodra by my side!

People I know - Massively into breeding Shiny Pokemon and doing everything to increase their odds. Has been doing this for multiple generations. Possibly even has a Living Shiny Dex.

Me - Somehow gets random Shiny Pokemon to appear when I’m not actively Shiny Pokemon. But I cannot for the life of have success odds of Breeding Shinies. And I’ve only started to get Shiny Pokemon in recent generations.

Day 13

I got the last two Pokemon!!

All in one Distortion!

I found a Linking Cord first and after catching a Steelix, I got a Metal Coat!

Arceus loves me!

I have finished the Obsidian Fieldlands Pokedex!

As far as I could

Aipom and Ambipom are the only ones missing

I caught a Togetic then Togepi in the Crimson Mirelands

Before going into the Crimson Mirelands Bow was level 92, Lek was level 87, and Ken, TheCoolerKen, Coil, and Jewel were level 77

The leveling was so off!

I kinda felt guilty

The overall Pokedex was 96 seen and 92 caught

Before I even got to the Crimson Mirelands, that section of the Pokedex was 35 Pokemon seen and 33 caught

Then after one day, I had 66 Pokemon caught and 64 seen

I won't be able to get the Goomy line as I need the fish lord

Will I really be staying in the Crimson Mirelands for only 2 days?

Compared to 13 in the Obsidian Fieldlands

I guess

Got all the Unown in the Crimson Mirelands and Jubilife Village

Got 9/20 Wisps, will need the fish lord again! to get the last two

been doing some shiny hunting this weekend for the first time in ages. got 2 scores

this shroomish hatched on egg 840, a hunt i took such a long break (more like i just havent played my switch as a whole in such a long time) from that i changed main fandoms and fixations in the meantime lmfao

and this hunt i started today. it took one sandwich. it appeared in 15 fucking minutes. sure, it was a level 3 boost, but i dont even have the god damn shiny charm. then it got transfered to PLA, evolved to hisuian sliggoo, then transferred back. i prefer the shiny of regular goodra far more but dragon/steel is too good a type combo to pass up
