Not celebrating the 4th this year...

Many reasons for that. One is I just got my iud and I'm still cramping pretty bad, another could be some rant about how America isn't worth celebrating and never was or whatever, and another could be that because my family isn't joining up with @sher10ck-h01mes family this year and I don't have a bf to celebrate with there isn't any outside push for me to do stuff like grill or see the fireworks

But I think the main reason is that the 4th was always @sher10ck-h01mes and mines time to just chill together wherever we wanted away from family and it just isn't worth it anymore to bother with this holiday without that? Like, I always saw it as a way to spend time with her and now that she's gone there's no point...

Warning - suicide talk

So my cousin, @sher10ck-h01mes killed herself. I’m still not sure how or when or whatever the fuck but she was kinda like the one member of my family I really really gave a shit about. Like, she got me and I'd like to think I got her. My boyfriend @greenejedi is coming over to comfort me. Kinda avoiding the rest of my family cos I really don't want to deal with them right now; I'd probably yell at them or something and that's not productive. I'm not going awol cause this site makes me laugh and keeps me happy and all that gay shit. Just...man, this sucks.

I keep feeling obliged to write something nice and heartfelt on the one year anniversary of @sher10ck-h01mes‘s death, but I suck at that shit.  I miss her a fucking lot and I know my life will never be like it was before.  She didn’t want me feeling sad and shit. I wasn’t the ones in her class bullying her, I wasn’t one of the disapproving or misunderstanding parts of our family.  I wasn’t the catholic church who made her death all about gods plan or my cousin who turned her funeral into a sermon.  I did my fucking best, you know?  But a handful of people can’t fix all that breaks from an army of hate and mental illness.  I don’t know if her ghost is still haunting around these parts, I just know it used to.  I wanted to go and visit, but nobody else was and I didn’t want to intrude.  Maybe this weekend, if I don’t have work.

I called off school and work today.  I didn’t spend the day crying like I thought I would, but I didn’t want to risk having a breakdown in front of classmates or coworkers.  I wanted to spend the day with my best friend, but she made other plans.  Maybe later tonight.  I hope so.
