Oh, what a relief! The girl would play along.  It would have been the worst to be caught lying for someone who did not want it.

“Yes, I know I am careless. I should put more attention to take care of my things. I am sorry officer.” – Nunnally replied to the unknown girl and bowed in front of the officer.

They were already walking alone for some time, at least it seemed so for Nunnally, when she heard that question. Not that she did not expect it. Nunnally assumed the girl would not simply run away. It would have been silly, right? The blond girl shrugged, although she tried to offer Shie a reassuring smile.

“I do not know. Truly. I just…just felt it was right. Do you sometimes have these feelings that you simply have to do something? It was my call today.” – she abruptly stopped – “I know it makes me a weird person, but…I do not care. Nor expect you to understand.” – no, Nunnally did not expect any gratitude. She knew she did not do it for the girl. As funny as it may seem, she did it  - to large extent – for herself. But hearing ‘thank you’ was still nice.

“You’re welcome.” – she said smiling – “…and keep the necklace, if you’d like…” – a deep blush covering her cheeks, ears and neck – “…it is not my intention to offend you…but hmmm…you might be needing it more than I do…”

“I am Nunnally.” – she reached her hands towards Shie – “But I think you’ve heard it when the police officer was talking. Do you feel like sharing a coffee together…my friend?” – that was followed by a gentle laugh and some sparkles in Nunnally’s eyes.

They were at least the friends in crime. Sort of anyway.

I decided to read She's Hopeless but dropped it after 4-6 chapters. It's not my type! The art style didn't really grab my interest either. The female protagonist is strong ig and she ended up with that mean trashy rich personality cause of what she went through. Now this new guy- her bodyguard will probably change her personality and she'll fall in love with him. Honestly after seeing the title I thought it would be a cutesy- clumsy story but nah it's all about bullying and stuff!

Anyway I'm thinking about what else to start. I’m currently reading Seasons of Blossom, The Worst Villainess, Selfish Romance, Baby Tyrant, In Between and The Fish I Loved. I’ve finished a few too and I’ll write reviews for them soon!

Very deeply annoyed by the fanon idea that Talia treated Jason like a pet or a tool when he was catatonic, because when you actually read lost days you can clearly see that Talia is literally the only person who looked at Jason while he was catatonic and still saw a person and treated him like a person while everyone else around her (Ra’s and the doctor she hired) was ready to dismiss Jason as an empty shell
