YANDERE LOV HEADCANONS

If you were to be kidnapped by the LOV, the league of villains, they would be watching you like creepy stalkers for a VERY LOONG time. It would be really infuriating for them to watch you doing the same boring things over and over again and again for days together. Won't you EVER get bored of living that bland vanilla life? You CLEARLY needed some spice in your life, at least, that's what THEY felt (Read, more like what DABI and TWICE felt. Shigaraki just didn't give a damn about you, that egoistical prick)

But no matter how much Shigaraki claimed that you were a useless spoiled brat, even HE couldn't shake off his feelings for you. Toga and Dabi would often tease him about it which would always result in a full fledged slapping war till mama Kurogiri tells the crybabies to CALM TF down

HECK, even KUROGIRI thinks you won't be so bad... When the other members of the LOV asked him to open up his warp gate and help them kidnap you, he resisted saying that you just needed some time. Even he was curious as to why most of the members of the LOV had suddenly taken an interest in you 

You were the prey, the victim they ALL fell in love with and the fact that they weren't controlling you yet and possessing you yet was pissing them TF off and was driving them INSANE

It won't be long before they kidnap you. You might be skipping along one day, looking like a happy cute adorable little chipmunk that's excited for something and suddenly, BOOM! Everything goes dark and fog and mist surrounds you (Cue the special effects and the dramatic evil chuckling and creepy organ music playing from the middle of nowhere) 

You would be TERRIFIED out of your wits to see Kurogiri just staring at you as well as the other members of the LOV as well (Well, of COURSE, who WOULDN'T be scared of out of their minds when you see villains glaring at you?) This is their chance to PROVE to you that you shouldn't place your faith and waste your breath on those pathetic no good hero scum who are useless most of the times anyway 

You would be gagged for a few days, chained and all. Dabi would have to deal with Toga's constant pestering asking whether she could make you bleed since she thinks you look cute and adorable in red and with blood all over you... Damn, this is scary

Crusty lips would be the MOST SCARIEST yandere, no doubt about that. He'd threaten you the most, show you the LEAST amount of love and affection, and basically, acts like a spoiled kid with the aura of a demon. He might even threaten to turn you to ash if you don't stop flinching away and turning away from him (SOMEONE HAND ME A KNIFE, I HAVE A CRUSTY RAT TO STAB!!!!! UvU)

That arrogant jerkface would LOVE to taunt you, call you all sorts of names and he gets some sick sort of pleasure seeing how HELPLESS you were under HIS control, poor sweet dumb little thing.... He wouldn't actually turn you to ash but seeing the way you squirm around from time to time just makes him feel so... aroused and gets all these crazy thoughts about you that'll be left to YOUR imagination ;)

Is Toga a yandere? BWAHAHAHAHAH XD Is that even a QUESTION to ask? She is the MASTER of all yanderes, and I honestly think she and Ayano Aishi from Yandere Simulator would be best pals and killing buddies. She'd swoon all over you and coo how cute you are in that sickeningly sugar coated voice of hers and say how beautiful you'd look in blood till Dabi pulls her away from you. When it's her turn to spend time with the LOV's 'pet' she's gonna literally POUNCE on you, trying to take your blood, tying you up and making you beg for more (HONESTLY, how TF is she NOT a vampire!!!???) She LOVES being dominant and unfortunately for you, you're her little plaything 

Twice is kinda chill AND DEADLY scary at the same time. I think he has a bipolar personality since one minute he's gonna be laughing with you and the next minute he's gonna do somethin dangerous towards you. This guy's really unpredictable and it's horrifying. You might be running into HIS arms for comfort AND yet, at the same time, you might be running away from him too like your hair's on fire. This dude's personality is so unpredictable, is damn scary.... TvT 

Mr Compress might just be the BEST yandere or captor you could EVER ASK for, PERIODT. He'd treat you well and certainly not like it when the other members try harming you in any way. He would never degrade you either. He'll take you to his room at night and show you all  sorts of cool magic tricks and slow dance with you like in those cutesy dramatic romantic movies. He'd stroke his thumb over your soft lips, caress your cheeks lovingly and say how cute and adorable and amazing you were and how he'd be your source of comfort from those overgrown morons with an IQ of a sardine tin can. He'll LOVE it when you're dependent on him and ONLY him and he would NEVER bring himself to hurt you like the others (Man, this dude is making me cry....)

Dabi couldn't care less at first when he saw you. He thought you were another little plaything for his use and he'd toss you away like a Kleenex after you were broken. And yet, something about you just attracts him to you and that's actually pretty terrifying. If Dabi's in a bad mood, you better start saying your freaking prayers since this man takes sadism to a WHOLE NOTHER level, it's a question now, who's more of a sadist. Dabi or Shigaraki? If he's in a good mood, he'll just ask you to shut up and cuddle with you and rub some gentle circles on your back

To piss Crusty Face Handyman even MORE, he'll make you sit on his lap during meetings while Shigaraki's gonna be damn pissed at BOTH you and HIM and that'll jus t make the prick Dabi satisfied. Sometimes, he won't be so bad to you, otherwise he's gonna make you do all sorts of things you're uncomfortable with and he's gonna be like your WORST NIGHTMARE in HUMAN form. He and Shigaraki might even TAG TEAM when it comes to your punishments and they CERTAINLY WON'T be your favorite yanderes, that's for SURE

Oh JESUS... when it comes to Spinner he's like the MOST SOFTEST yandere EVER just like Mr. Compress. He LOVES showering you with love and affection, and he's just so pure, he can't EVER hurt you... OMG, MY HEART!!!!!....

He CERTAINLY feels bad with Compress when the league uses you as their personal stress toy and hence, they're the ones who'll actually take care of you and treat you with such gentle care and tender love. He'll be one who'll actually make you happy, by sneaking food for you when the league tries to starve you since you were being bad, talk to you about the things you like and care about, won't EVER touch you inappropriately since he DROWNS in his respect women juice and feels really bad since he can't help you escape. This boi is so PRECIOUS, IMMA DIE FROM A CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!!!!!!!!!

Kurogiri will be like the parental figure and whenever the punishments get out of hand like the villains trying to touch you inappropriately and all, he'll be there to stop in no time. Though he's a villain, he cares for you just like Compress and Spinner. He won't hesitate to punish you, but his punishments will just be a bit tamer than the ones the others give. His punishments will be something like him just ignoring you for a few hours and all that. He'll make sure to take good and proper care of you and feed you and on time and ensure you aren't malnourished. He'll talk to you about the current things going on around the world and honestly... he ain't so bad

In my opinion, Stain is a chivalrous guy. He won't torture you, EVER nor will he ever invade your personal space. He thinks you're cute and adorable and he'll compliment you oh just a DOZEN times a day. Like Kurogiri, he ensures you're safe and all right and after a harsh treatment with the Terrifying Trio (aka. Stabby blood rat, crusty chicken nugget and BURNT chicken nugget) he'll be there to comfort you and wipe your tears away and gently hold you to sleep after he tends to your injuries. If you're locked away somewhere, he'll at the very least try sneaking some food for you and telling you that you're strong and you'll be able to cope with it and gently encourage you

calming down for 2 seconds the cinematography was great this episode and the pacing was a definite improvement from ep1, which filoni also directed! this played into his directing strengths a lot better w the action and emotion. i won't lie i'm still not sold on the show as a whole i do think eps 1-3 were okay i guess, 4 was a step up and 5 is like. wow ok go girl. also the way they used anivader in this episode made me rlly sad for the kenobi show bc that show should've been smthn like this, using him as a vision for obi-wan's development instead of the villain of the show bc thats a tired fight but hey! this is abt ahsoka not kenobi i digress. SPEAKING OF loved how it was actually ABOUT the titular character for once. anyway. going insane. i don't have too much faith the show can keep this up but i'll be happy if it can reach smthn close to this as it goes on

Yeah I think you're absolutely right, Chastity and Lust are hysterical together. Like it's too much fun to chase him down and flirt relentlessly and watch him squeak in terror, Lust wouldn't be able to resist lmao. Also as I've touched on in past posts, Chastity is really just barely holding back his own desires and would definitely be into it despite his intense embarrassment. Like they make out in a closet for hours and then he stumbles out with cartoon smooch marks all over his head all woozy and lovestruck lmaoooooo. Now how about the rest of them...

OOH y'know who's really funny together, Greed and Charity. Because Greed wants everything, and Charity wants to give it to him. They are actively making each other worse and it's great <3

but I don't think they'd all match up one to one, like for example, Diligence and Sloth are funny together but would absolutely drive each other insane (or probably just to tears in Sloth's case :'/). Instead, I think Sloth would be drawn to Patience, because Patience won't make him get up pretty much ever lmao. They just sit still all day and Sloth gets a good nap and cuddle in hehe ^^

Now how about the more, er, temperamental ones...Wrath is tough because he just likes to shoot at everybody, so he's not exactly in the market for a partnership, much less relationship. But y'know, he'd be kinda perfect with Diligence because he needs people to shoot and Diligence needs people to arrest, so Diligence just goes around siccing him on every criminal in sight xD Then when Wrath gets bored and starts shooting at Diligence he just scoffs like "Stop that Max I have paperwork to file. Go shoot at some pigeons why don't you" fdsjksdljgs;dhf

Gluttony is absolutely not getting a date, he's getting a snack. And probably it's Temperance. Like Temperance would love to have a proper relationship with at least one of his multicolored husbands, but he happens to get a little too close and Gluttony's just like "ah perfect you look edible >:)" and that's all she wrote lmaooooo

Another tricky one is Humility since he's kind of just a conglomeration of self-loathing, poor baby. Honestly it would be WILDLY toxic, but I could kinda see him ending up with Pride if Pride decided he liked keeping him around for like menial tasks and offering worship and shit. Probably there's more to be said about that depending on whose version of Pride we're talking about, but I'll leave that for @pikaflute or @lizardtheartist to expand on if they happen to feel like it ;>c

And lastly, I'd love to see Kindness and Envy pair off because every version I've seen of that poor boy could use some love and reassurance, and that's all Kindness wants to do day in day out ^^ like Kindness would still be bouncing around helping other people too, but if Envy's clinging to his shoulders the whole time then he'd be able to check in with him frequently and make him still feel appreciated and cared for. What's better for feeling valued than being carried around by somebody who spends every waking moment asking if you need anything and telling you he loves you and idly scritching your cheeks while he does other stuff? ^^<3 Sure, Kindness still needs to calm the fuck down and take care of himself too, but Envy does also need to be blasted with love like that lmao so it would at least be nice in the short term.

Oh and I almost forgot their poor chopped-up counterparts, Bliss Max and Sin Sam! :0 they're interesting because they kind of go in two opposite directions--Bliss Max gets along with everybody and would probably be perfectly chill hanging out with any of the virtues, but Sin Sam is kind of perpetually ticked off and doesn't wanna be around anyone lmao. Probably Bliss Max could get along especially well with Kindness (but Kindness does try very hard to make that a given), but I could also see him being good buddies with Chastity. Since he's not really flirty, Chastity would feel safer with him, and maybe they'd have a nice little chat about hobbies or some such lol. As for Sin Sam, he might be able to have some fun with Wrath for a while, but that's assuming Wrath doesn't just try to shoot him on sight instead (which honestly seems like the more likely outcome). He'd also be able to have some fun with Lust, but he'd get sick of Lust being all lovey dovey and ditch him pretty quickly (what a heartbreaker shhgjfjdskhgsjfs xD). Bastard man. He kinda deserves to get stuck with the irritatingly bubbly Bliss Max lmaoooooo

ooooo as a music nerd i love this question and i apologize for how longwinded my answer is XD i don't do many songfics or much song-related writing [*shoves the title of two fights for freedom under the rug*] but i do have a ton of playlists and songs that make me think of specific characters or fics. to answer this question, i'll just pick one called "Fever Dream" by Dirt Poor Robins. specifically the part starting just after the 4:00 minute mark. the lyrics make me go INSANE with this idea for a dark/horror dq bros fic where doflamingo realizes that corazon is just a false identity and he can't do anything to get his brother back and it drives him even more insane. these lyrics make me crazy Now here comes the liar (lion) Clawing at your door Drunk on the blood of your brother And he's back for more (apparently the lyric is actually "lion" rather than "liar", but i hear "liar" so therefore i declare it is "liar" for the sake of my own brainrot) imagine a fic where rosinante is the one psychologically tormenting doflamingo!! unsure if i'll ever get around to writing it, but it'd probably have a similar vibe to blood gone sour.

i usually do a nightly prowl under the one piece fandom on ao3 and either filter by most recent fics with rosinante or bell-mere. otherwise i read recs that are bumped on discord servers, or stories friends write! i'm actually terrible at reading tho i don't read nearly enough. when i have free time, i usually use it to create.

10. How do you decide what to write?

excellent question. i make a list of priorities. sometimes it's disorganized lists on my phone, sometimes i use calendars. first and foremost are things with due dates, so zine work, or gifts for exchanges, birthdays or holidays. next i prioritize stories that are works in progress, but already posted on ao3. i hate having incomplete works posted on ao3, so i strive to get them wrapped up asap. then it's a rabid thunderdome of all my other wips and ideas all wrestling for victory for who gets to be created XD i'm constantly bursting with ideas i never get to work on, unfortunately.

37. Promote one of your own “deep cut” fics (an underrated one, or one that never got as much traction as you think it deserves!). What do you like about it?

i'm gonna go ahead and promote spitfire and ice because i busted my ass on this for the crackpair event and i was actually really happy with the result? i was assigned makino x kuzan, so i threw bell-mere in there too just to shake things up, and then i fell madly in love with bell-mere x makino and their flirty banter. it captured my heart in a way i was NOT expecting. i guess the tags aren't particularly interesting to most, so it's relatively unknown with only 4 kudos and 31 hits. but look at this!! “Hey, I’ve gotta ask you something.” She leaned over the counter once Makino settled herself and refilled the pitcher for the next round. “Would I still be wanted here…after hours?” With a tight smile, Makino rested her hands over the tabletop. “We’re closed for customers after hours. I need some time to tidy up the place.” “Right, right…” Pretty gray eyes wandered. “But in this situation, I wouldn’t be a customer.” With an amused chuckle, Makino folded her arms over her stomach. “What do you want me to say, Miss Bell-mère? What if, while this is all happening (Poppy and Greasy are on the edge while Smartass and Psycho are Judging Them), little Lottie doesn't recognise Wheezy at all??? Like maybe she was on a school camp for the two weeks Wheezy was getting clean and Poppy picked her up from the camp on her way to their place- so they were seeing clean Wheezy at the same time- and Lottie is just

Like Daddy who's this??? Cuz like, she would not at all be used to new people in her house XD How often do you think the weasels bring over new people??? I'd say very very rarely, if ever (barring Shiny and Poppy at some point, but those are probably the only exceptions).

"Eh, don't worry about it. I wasn't gonna let you guys ride the bus or train tonight." Shiny shrugged as she picked up the little weasel girl out of her seat. She smiled and tapped Lottie's nose with her own, her grin growing as she let out a giggle, "Besides, I missed my favorite girl."

Poppy giggled herself as she grabbed Lottie's backpack from the trunk of the red car. In truth, she hadn't been able to stop smiling since she picked up the child from camp. How could she not? She missed her only niece. And so did her unkles- in fact, Psycho had to have a very close eye kept on him to make sure he didn't sneak off to find her!

Though, of course, nobody missed Charlotte as much as her daddy did. The only reason Smartass didn't pick up his daughter himself was because that judge they worked for (Poppy was a little scared to say his name. Like it would summon him somehow.) gave them a last minute job. All Poppy could do was volunteer to pick up his daughter, and pray for mercy on the poor soul who had to face Smartass and his gang after having the chance to see the baby sooner rather than later dashed away.

But it looked like the boys were back home- and Greasy was the one who was driving, judging by how the black dodge parked halfhazardly in the cracked driveway. Poppy had been a little worried that they wouldn't get home on time, but everything seemed to be going smoothly despite that morning hiccup. They were all going to go inside, have a heartwarming reunion, and have dinner together as a family! Nothing could go wrong. At least that was what Poppy thought as she exchanged cargo with Shiny; now holding Lottie while the weasel lady rifled through the back of her car for the rest of the baby's things, "I'll catch up. You don't wanna keep her daddy waiting. Or her uncle, for that matter."

"You're right." The rabbit giggled again before turning towards the house, "I'll come back to help you after I get Lottie inside."

"Mhmm."

It was a good thing Poppy started towards the house, since the child she was holding was starting to squirm in her hold; wordlessly voicing her distaste for how long her two aunts were taking. Poppy couldn't help but chuckle again and hurried up the porch stairs, "I'm sorry, dear. You'll see Daddy soon, don't worry."

Poppy already had a key to the house- it was given to her by Smartass of all people! At Christmas a couple of years ago. It really showed just how much he trusted and cared about her... Which was why she didn't have the heart to tell him Psycho had already given her a copy a long time ago- so she didn't need to knock and have someone else open the door. The toon kept Lottie carefully balanced in one arm as she stepped inside, grinning from ear to ear when she heard Psycho's running footsteps, "Hello, every-"

"LOTTIE!!" Just as she predicted, the one in the straightjacket got to pull his niece out of her hold first. Lottie had been already reaching out to Psycho and giggling happily. Poppy took the chance to readjust her jacket while her best friend cuddled the kit for the first time in what must have felt like ages to him, "I missed you soooooo much!"

Poppy got to count two seconds before she saw the boss himself round the corner to see his daughter. Psycho must have tripped him or disoriented him when he sped past him, judging by how he looked a little confused and very annoyed at his employee, "You little-"

"Daddy!" And just like that, the hardness in Smartass' eyes melted away nearly instantly. How could it have not with his baby now waving to him all cheerfully? Poppy could feel her heart melt when she saw the paternal smile pull at his lips before he stepped over to greet his baby- and no doubt take her away from her insane uncle despite the warning glare he was receiving. Though Psycho had no choice but to give up little Lottie when she reached out for Smartass.

Poppy shook her head before scanning the living room for the three missing weasels of the house- Actually, two now that Stupid was excitedly coming down the stairs. It was odd; she expected to see Greasy to come flying out of the back, and Wheezy to follow, "Hey, Psycho? Do you know where Greasy and Wheezy are?"

The sudden tired and annoyed scowl pulling at the weasels' face and being too distracted to react to Smartass finally picking Lottie from his arms, should have told Poppy enough. That Greasy must have gotten into trouble again. And Wheezy either had to bail him out, or this was the rare example of when he decided to be part of the problem rather than the solution. But before either rabbit or weasel could say anything, her ears perked up, and her smile returned when she heard the very familiar wheezing voice approaching behind her, "M'right here, Pops."

"Oh! There you are. But what abou-"

...

The rabbits mind had gone completely blank. It felt like her brain had been smoothed over, and her heart was working overtime when her eyes landed on her tall friend. If it weren't for him speaking up before, she would have a hard time believing this weasel before her was Wheezy. Her nicotine riddled, dirty, addict friend. The smell of smoke still permeated him, but it was a little more subtle now, and it was accompanied by the smell of actual soap. There wasn't a trace of ash on the blue weasel, aside from his fingers, though it looked fresh from just today. The clothes he was currently wearing, which consisted of his usual dress shirt and tie, but with a leather jacket instead of just a vest (it was pretty cold in the house though so that could be forgiven) looked clean. As clean as they could belonging to a smoker at least. And his fur had been combed down as best as it could, no sign of tangles anywhere. Not to mention the bags under his eyes had improved too. Wheezy had managed to get some sleep!?

Who... How... How did he... When... This was Wheezy!? How could he just look like this? How could he look this good after a shower?? How could it be enough to make her face burn up!?!?

The poor rabbit toon looked like a deer caught in the headlights as she stared up at Wheezy. She just... Couldn't believe this was him! Though fortunately, the simple act of him raising his brow at her without a word was enough to knock her back to most of her sense (and made the cardigan she picked out today feel just a bit too much despite the cool January weather), allowing Poppy to blink back to the present and shake her head... Nope, Wheezy still looked too handsome. It wasn't a trick of the light. Poppy was so stunned, she had to clear her throat and subconsciously tuck a strand of hair behind her ear while directing her attention to the loose floorboard she was standing on, just to be able to even try to stutter out a response, "H... H-Hi..."

The flustered feelings and embarrassment only grew within her when she felt everyone's eyes on her. Especially Psycho's and Smartass'. She didn't need to look back up to know that she was being judged now- and she refused to look any of them in the eye. The only clue she got that Wheezy even heard her was the tired sigh she heard escape him (though she couldn't see the tiny, nearly unnoticeable amused tilt at the corner of his mouth), "Hey there, Poppy."

She awkwardly waved again before forcing her hand down when she remembered she had already greeted him. She could only bring herself to look back up when he finally directed his attention towards his neice. Just in time to see him smiling softly at a very confused looking Lottie in her agitated and judgmental fathers arms, "Heya, Chickedea."

"..." As any child her age, Lottie wasn't too subtle when she leaned into her father's ear and whispered a bit too loudly, while giving Wheezy the side eye, "Daddy, who's that?"

Wheezy's smile fell, and it looked like he wasn't sure to laugh or roll his eyes right alongside his boss. Poppy felt guilty and covered her lips to suppress her giggle, though Psycho just let out one of the biggest laughs she heard from him in some time. At least he wasn't giving her looks anymore. Lottie and Stupid both exchanged confused looks, though their puzzlment stemming from different places, "You don't recognize him, Lottie?"

"F'course she don't recognize Wheezy! Just look at 'im!" Smartass threw his free hand up in the air in exasperation, before pointing a threatening finger at the smoker- who just stared blankly right back, "Of all the days y'coulda cleaned yourself up, you picked the day my kid came home!?"

"Boss-"

"It's bad enough y'got Greasy and Poppy swinging over you, and now Lottie thinks we're shooting a cologne comercial!"

Wait, 'swinging'?? Her and Greasy? What? "I-I-I Uh..."

"Cologne?"

"It's the smelly stuff uncle Greasy pours on himself in the morning, sweetie."

"Oh!" Hearing the slightly annoyed- though mostly amused- tone behind her managed to knock the rabbit out of her head space and make her whirl around behind her. And feel guilty when she saw her dancer friend balancing all of Lotties' stuff in one arm. It wasn't much admittedly, just a couple of backpacks (Smartass could be such a mother hen sometimes. It was so sweet ^^), but Poppy couldn't help but cringe a little, "Sorry. I-"

"Got caught up with the cowboy, huh?" All it took was one glance towards the tall, exasperated weasel for Shiny to understand everything. And the knowing smirk and brow tilt she sent Poppy only made the poor toon feel worse, "Don't worry. I got you."

"Don't say that..."

Even though it was obvious Shiny didn't feel as charmed as her best friend was by Wheezy, the knowing wink she sent the smoker as she shut the door behind him and walked past them all to put away Lottie's bags was enough to make Wheezy wonder if he really did make the right choice today, "Lookin' good, Wheeze."

"Yeah, yeah. Greasy is upstairs, y'might wanna go talk to him."

'Aw, my boy went into hiding? Cute.' Instead of saying what she really thought, Shiny nodded and called out to everyone else, "I'll get lover boy to come down! Be back in a minute!" Before she disappeared up the steps.

Shiny was already giggling at the top of the stairs, being able to hear Smartass grumble at Poppy to 'get it together'. So the dancer was already feeling giddy and amused when she saw the green weasel in question step out of his bedroom. And it took everything in her to not cackle when he froze like a deer on the road seeing her, "Oh Greasy~~"

"Oh, jódeme..."

"You telling that to me, or Wheezy?~"

"No! No, don't you start that, hermosa!" Despite still carrying the little ones luggage, Shiny couldn't stop herself from bowling over and releasing the laugh she tried futility to hold in. And that only seemed to make the spaniard grow more huffy at his lady friend, "I mean it! El fumador could never-"

Somehow, not even she knew how, Shiny was able to control herself long enough to sigh and, with a triumphant grin, leaned into the wall besides Greasy's door and chose to burst his bubble right then and there, "Oh, cut the crap, will you honey? The little shrimp downstairs threw you under the bus."

"Ese pequeño bastardo va a pagar..." Another chortle, another glare from her green bean. Greasy, like the drama queen she loved to see, heaved out the most pathetic sigh she heard from him in a long time, and looked to her like he was some kind of victim, "Amore, Shiny, you choose to believe the boss over me?? You're best friend-"

"In this case, yes I would."

"Wha!?-"

"Now! You know exactly what's coming, chico~" Greasy's frown (his little pout as she saw it) tugged lower on his mug while Shiny's smirk grew, and her free, beautifully painted hand lifted up in an expectant manner, "The dough. Hand it over."

"You're an evil little witch, you know that?"

"C'mon, Greasy. No one likes a sore loser~"

As much as the weasel wanted to fight and keep his cash, he knew it was a hopeless battle; if he didn't give the money, Shiny would just swipe his wallet and take it for herself later like the little thief she was. So, with a grumble, Greasy just reached into his pocket, "You brought Wheezy into this. I know you did."

"Other than speaking the truth that el fumador had potential under all that grime?" The dancer snickered while watching Greasy count the bills very carefully- she had to, after their last bet, when he tried to fool her with monopoly cash tucked between the actual money.

Fortunately for Greasy, he was wise enough to know not to fool her when it came to her winnings by now, and gave her the full hundred dollars that she was owed. Still keeping her triumphant smirk, she tucked them all down her shirt (Greasy had no qualms reaching down into a woman's secret pocket, but she would be able to see him try to steal his money back there than if she tucked the cash in her back pocket), before walking past a still grumbling Greasy towards Lottie's room, "The others are waiting for you to start dinner, by the way."

"If you think I'm going to make those Traidores e idiotas food, you've got-"

"Lottie told Poppy and I she missed your cooking." Peeking her head out the bedroom doorway, Shiny offered the pervert her own 'heartbroken' expression; looking at him with big eyes, and tilting her head just the right way, "You're going to deny the baby girl the warm, homemade cooking she's been denied this entire week??"

Being reminded of what this day was meant to be about, Greasy shut his trap immediately. Although Shiny knew he still didn't want to go down there with the cologne commercial and the man who ratted on him, she also knew that he missed his neice just as much as everyone else here did. So she wasn't at all surprised when he just started making his way downstairs.

Chuckling and shaking her head, Shiny set the backpacks down on Charlotte's bed before following Greasy back downstairs, "What a softie he can be..."

I am SO sorry. This took so so so much longer than it needed to to be answered. Even with the moving 😖 I hope this was worth the wait, at least? Even if it doesn't have as much Lottie and Wheezy, or Greasy and Poppy huddled together in bisexual solidarity.

I'm really not too sure how this turned out. But it did feel good to finally have my inbox cleared out, and I didn't want to keep you waiting longer than you already have been.

Okay, rather than use this to specifically ramble about a character, I'm gonna instead ramble out some thoughts on my Wayhaven Love Interest Swap bc that brainworm has settled in GOOD and I need to let some of these this out before I explode. xD (this Swap being AJ/Adam, Mallory/Nate, Janinie/Mason, and Kasey/Felix. Yes, I realize there's three pens and four characters. I'll be much heavier on one or two of these that are really driving me insane)

🖊 AJ/Adam first bc AJ is always first, and it's the one I've thought about most(thus most likely to happen).

She's very easy-going and willing to work with Bravo, open to suggestion, and basically takes an "I know the town better, you all clearly know the case better, let's pool that knowledge" attitude rather than trying to be In Charge. Adam appreciates that, while it also irritates him and he cannot figure out why. (Spoilers, it's bc he likes her and her working so closely with them puts her in danger and he doesn't want her to get hurt. I think Nate would put those pieces together before Adam does, tho :3) Mishka's mentioned that A's route is them Love-at-First-Sighting the Detective, but I see it being something they both try to downplay for most of book 1(AJ's trying to be professional, Adam's trying to Make It Go Away bc he's trying to protect her from the dangers of the supernatural world, including him). It would be probably when she stops by his room after her arrival at the Agency facility following the vampire reveal that AJ starts to maybe acknowledge/lean into the attraction a bit more. Adam's still fighting it, but it's so hard to do.

He wants to protect her, from everything, but being around her is a different kind of dangerous for both of them(Nate is watching his best friend's struggle with equal amounts of sympathy and amusement). Then it turns out her blood is Special™ and she's in this world whether she likes it or not(she does) and Adam just doubles down on wanting to protect her. I think failing to keep her safe from Murphy would hit harder than it did with Mallory, which is so deliciously angsty. There's this amazing, palpable tension between them in the hospital after she's rescued; not sexual, but definitely something romantic brewing there. (I'm dying at both the patrol scene with him giving her his coat and the first time he makes one of the comments alluding to being viewed as a monster and she just looks him dead in the eye "You're not a monster, Adam" said with such genuine gentleness and conviction it makes him stop breathing for a second)

(Sidenote: her loving to read and him being such a protective grump makes them together give major Beauty and the Beast vibes and I am HERE FOR IT)

Book 2 is where things get really fun bc AJ would actually be more bold about flirting with Adam than she is with Nate in canon. This is because Nate is very suave/charming/open about being attracted to her, which makes her appreciative but shy. I wanna say she was somewhere between 70-80% shy on the romance meter by the end of book 2 with him(and it would be about the same if I put her with Felix or Mason bc they're also both very open about being attracted to you, it's just the tone/nature that changes). With Adam, while she wouldn't be flinging herself at him or anything, she would be a little more obvious with showing signs of her attraction. She'd figure his reticence was due to not being sure she felt the same(he's a vampire, could be from an era/culture with standards about "protecting a lady's honor") and want to clear that up. So it would be little things like touching his arm or holding his gaze. Stuff that's obvious without being forward.

I mentioned in the original post that the main things attracting them to each other is her genuineness(there is no guile in this girl) and how much he cares about his team(she'd notice that real quick). He worries her sweetness/trusting nature is going to get her hurt and she's terrified his protective streak is going to get him hurt again. Enter Trapper Fight and the "Tu omnia" which she would need Nate to translate for her bc she doesn't know Latin. She would definitely go supernatural research on his route and I would go feRAL over the library scene. And while she's willing to give him time and be patient, I feel like moving in to book 3, when it's really hard to deny this mutual attraction, she would start gently pushing for him to either commit or explain why he can't bc this back and forth isn't fair to either of them.

🖊 Mallory/Nate isn't super fleshed out as a concept, I just really like the idea of them together bc she will call him on his bullshit when he tries to deflect about discussing his past and he's easygoing to work with her wanting to be in charge while having the patience to deal with how long it takes her to open up. Suave enough to navigate her prickly topics, too, and the mental image of the fourteen inch height difference is also hilarious. She would want to Protect so badly with him, even if he is a foot and change taller than her. xD Bc he cares about people and he's so good and gentle and the world needs more people like that. Even if they're actually centuries-old vampires.

🖊 Janine/Mason is also not very fleshed out, just Sunshine/Grump pairings are my JAM. While there would still be flirting, it's far less sarcastic/challenge-mode than Kasey's flirting with him. Janine just likes him and is so genuinely sweet and charming, the "Sweetheart" nickname starts almost mocking and the shift to it being a more genuine thing is so subtle Mason doesn't even really notice he's doing it.(Nate and Felix sure do👀👀👀) Janine would want to hold off on sex until it means something, further confusing him about why he's so drawn to her and why he likes her so much, when she doesn't even want to "have fun". The bakery scene in book 3 would be BRUTAL, she would leave in tears, Mason's internal monologue would be something along the lines fuckfuckfuCK SHIT FUCK. >:3

🖊Kasey/Felix is the other one I've put some decent thought into. It starts out just as fun. It's casual flirting, at least on her end, sweet how much he cares, and he's kind of adorable, but Felix is definitely to more invested of the two of them until the Carnival Date. His unmitigated joy sends her just plunging head over heels, like she stepped into the deep end of a pool with no warning and she doesn't even look back. ("Look how happy you are, that's so much sexier than any pout" Girl's a GONER) She loves taking advantage of being slightly taller to wrap her arm around his shoulders, he's jokingly asked for piggyback rides bc he thinks it'd be funny. She would hesitate even more than Janine did about saving him vs Sanja in the Trapper fight. I think she would still save Sanja, but fullblown panic attack about seeing him so hurt, like we're talking walks like a zombie, Nate or Mason has to drag her by the arm to get her where they need her to go, absolutely stays when Felix asks and wraps around him like a very protective big spoon.

Morgana time travels back in time to kill Uther, but doesn't realize she brought Merlin along for the ride (he's linked to her, being both her destiny and her doom).

Morgana kills Uther via poison and Merlin tries to stop her, but he's too late. Both proceed to argue about what she has done and throw spells to one another until baby Arthur makes an appearance. Gaius makes them responsible of Arthur (you killed the king, you deal with the consequences). In summary, prince Arthur grows up with passive aggressive foster parents with magic with a great ton of issues and maxed out UST. If and when that UST gets resolved, that's up to you. 😂

Arthur will be spoiled rotten by both of them lmaoo. They will make him read soooo many books. Morgana will teach him how to do politics and fight wars. At least MerMor will agree with each other on that aspect. There is increasing attraction and UST when their ideas match 😂. Bonus if by raising arthur they will both start to imagine what it would be like if they had a magical child aksjshjwsj (which brings them back to the mordred and aithusa question and then they fight again coz they’ll never get over it 😂). Then later cue teenage angst arthur coz he doesnt have 'gifts’ like his foster parents. I think Arthur will be a more okay king because of them at least XD

They’ll probably fall in bed while doing one of those heated fights about arthur, mordred and aithusa (they’re a mess). I can see that happening. Basically Merlin would be all 🥺🥺🥺🥺 when Morgana blurts out the truth about Aithusa in her frustration and rage and his whole attitude with her will shift 😏😏😏😏

But man the paradox this timeline will induce lmao

With Igrain and Uther dead and with the prince still a baby... that means the Purge will never start. Therefore, Nimueh and Balinor are still attending court. Magic is still alive and free in Camelot. The problem would be the civil unrest after the assasination of the monarch. So... who’s gonna show up and try to take the throne? I’m guessing Nimueh and Balinor would prolly fight it out? Morgana’s birth is probably secure coz the Duke of Cornwall wont have to go fight a war or smth. But the problem would be Merlin not being conceived if Balinor is a Camelotian courtier and his future mom is waaaay over farming in Ealdor. Unless Nimueh takes the throne and drives Balinor away (which is unlikely). Merlin would have to find a way to be conceived by his mother smh 😂... all the while raising a future prince with his sworn enemy from their own timeline 😂😂😂

This timeline also have the funny side effect of morgana and nimueh being in the same room as merlin. Imagine the bitchfights bruh. And Merlin, Morgana and Nimue would be of approx the same age. Morgana would be so insanely jealous of Nimueh’s confidence and merlin’s attraction to her and and vice versa. Maybe morgs will side with nimue bec ofc she will... or maybe not.. morgs cannot stand if anyone not her sits on the throne of camelot... she’s gonna bring nimueh down.. i just know it and... Omg yeah theyre gonna fight over merlin. All the while the Gaius x Alice storyline is happening in the background with a nice nimue x gaius x alice tension going on.

Arthur is gonna grow up with this political landscape and i shiver thinking abt it. Morgana would parade him around as hers and Merlin’s child in front of nimue and she’ll be extra flirty with merlin (holysht yep she’ll definitely seduce him to gain leverage over nimueh).

If you think this chapter was insane, I'm not sure you're ready for Chapter 20... >_> This is just the beginning, as Sir said at the end here.

But don't worry, she will recover, of course she does, she always will, because at the end of the day: they are both fucked-up characters, he's corrupted her completely now, she doesn't see his actions as outrageous and wrong as your average person would. She sees reason in them, finds them justified. In good old Dom/sub fashion (even though I like to exaggerate that a lot in my story) she trusts him, even if he's taking advantage of her.

So the only hint I can give you is: it won't affect him in a way you wish it would, it's what he does. With her accepting this punishment (even if she fights it at first), she enables him, proves to him that he is right in doing so. He is the bad guy, the worst person ever, no matter how often I sprinkle in some nicer scenes, never forget.

Like I said in my last ask answer, it has to get worse before it can get better. And it will, never lose hope!
