speaking of ein, i hc that he doesnt have a good relationship w/ zack at all, so he took on his mother's last name instead, so that's why it doesn't really click that he and aphmau are related for the longest time since aphmau had her mother's last name and ein has his own mother's

KC actually chose her own name, with Nana meaning 'beautiful bloom'. The fact it could also mean 'seven' was entirely coincidental.

dante is the one who usually cuts travis' hair. they started doing that in high school and just kept it going as a tradition ever since. it doesnt do much because travis likes keeping his hair long-ish, but it gives them time to hang out at least!

katelyn got involved in fighting at a very young age. mostly defending her brothers, who were too weak to defend themselvs. after her mother left, it just became a way to cope, because punching stuff help get rid of the excess emotions. her father only assumed she was copying him and nurtured that response. took lots of talking with aphmau and KC when they were roommates to get her to explore other ways to cope rather than, you know, punching people (*cough* travis)

zane has a bunch of pet snakes he managed to smuggle into the house. his (dont tell the others!) favorite is a peppermint corn snake named Minthe

when vylad was younger, you couldn't look away from him for even a SECOND before he would have been on top of cabinets or counters. he thrived on climbing and causing you as many problems as possible. zane secretly helped him cause said problems by helping him onto places he couldnt otherwise reach when nobody was looking

And then what an episode later hes sitting in the bank "oh no we avengers dont get paid, Im struggling to take out a loan to save my dads boat" or whatever. It is unfathomable that theyre not paid big bucks by the government or minimum stark isnt bankrolling them. Its ludicrous. Theyre out there physically throwing around countries and youre telling me falcon cant afford a lawyer? Especially this is after the sokovia accords. The "we're gonna police the avengers oops guess not". So whys he not sitting in prison for international terrorism or whatever? But he cant get a bank loan? But he'll drop everything to go avengering and hes out on military missions, youre telling me he's volunteering for the military for no pay? In the equipment only he can operate, that they havent taken from him by force?

And then even more so than the "oh were the antagonists I guess we better blow up a building" scene, a bit later the lead antagonist woman is talking to Sam and hes like "I get your mission but your methods are wrong youre hurting people" and it wouldve been perfect if she responded "and how many people have you killed in the name of the greater good sam wilson?"

But of course she doesnt. Because status quo and agreeing with the superhero comes before good storytelling. If they were really wrestling with this question that wouldve been fantastic. He'd hve to face his own hypocrisy. But no hes not a big avenger man hes poor little sam who cant get a loan.

If he was a vigilante he might even go rob idk tony stark or some billionaire or smth, like, hes been an avenger for how many years now and you wamt.me to believe he has no income? And is ok with that?

I dont really remember Buckys storyline but I do remember they took his arm at the end and we were supposed to be okay with that, like a limb has to be earned with compliance.

The thing is, theres nothing wrong with power fantasy, superhero comocs have always been power fantasy. But theyre the fantasy of the little guy becoming powerful and then using that power to save the other little guys. I mean Disney is doing this too, they made Mulan some magic girl instead of someone who did what had to be done despite her ordinariness. (Full disclosure I didnt actually watch that movie).

And the end of TFATWS wasnt the big vistory that sam like, nodded at a senator and said nu nu nu do better? And took on the mantle of captain america of course.

Its also like how detective and PI stories have all become copaganda. Theyre all about working within the law officially and then when they flagrantly break laws its ok because it was necessary and no one will ever know. Get to the suspect before they lawyer up and invoke their rights. Oh no now we'll never get the evidence in time because they have legal support, naughty suspect.

Its all boring and theres no escapism. If heroes dont start out small we cant project onto them. If they are the establishment, we're already very familiar with the establishment and it being powerful isnt a fantasy its just reality. Theyre not protecting the little guy anymore. Theyre working with the military theyre siding with the government so ok theyre just flashier...not even law enforcement. Theyre just people who can do whatever and theres nothing anyone can do. Thats not fun.

(Spoilers below) Two episodes in 24 hours. I was a bit underwhelmed by Qilin. So Lets see what Penalteam brings to the table

Okay so I did feel the hero intros were rushed. But I was very entertained.

I wish they didnt bulk intro the other heroes. It feels like they got robbed. But I did enjoy the akuma and the set up.

The ending was also good.

The lesson of the day was obvious but that was expected. It was a lot more fun

8 out of 10.

If the other heroes were more fleshed out and Ivan and Sabrina were given more personality I feel like this would be higher.

i kinda just copied over my ideas for lasombra abilities for her lmao but to be fair i dont think the shadow stuff is entirely canon there? whatever we can reuse them fgfhgjh

im tossing around some names in my head currently and i seem to be liking myrcella/marcella a lot sound wise but im not sure if its whats going to end up being the final choice. i also kind of enjoy Florence as a nod to florence nightengale bc of the medical themes connecting with the whole mortician thing but that’s a pretty loose reference and im not sure it would be obvious enough. p set on Blackburn as the surname tho, i think that has a good ring to it & also sounds like it fits with the rest of the character names. i recognize that doesnt make a lot of sense but im sure you know what i mean lmao. i did throw together a look for her in the sims but ofc i dont have a screenshot on me and its too late to boot up my pc, but she’s pretty creepy & cute.

i also like the idea of her being instrumental in the ‘everyone lives/is revived’ au bc her background as a mortician/embalmer means shes almost definitely performed autopsies before & knows how the body works. i think her cadou would be left alone since its Very internal and we’re not about to do self surgery gfgjhkj heisenberg’s also has to be pretty well hidden? and imo i think he’s probably attached to his metal powers? like he’s legitimately human passing he’s probably just quasi-immortal or at least very sturdy and long-lived. alcina & her daughters are some others i can’t see any post-revival changes being made to, she seems fairly comfortable with her stature and bela/cassandra/daniela also see like they’d miss their abilities. donna might want some cosmetic partial removal just based on where her cadou implant is on the face & ms blackburn would be very much accommodating. moreau is. a whole other story gfhgjhj like im sure blackburn is just very much of the ‘yeah no we’re not bringing him back unless i can remove at least Some of the implants from him i feel like thats just inhumane at that point he has Four’ but also lowkey she probably gfhgjhk finds him annoying and since no one is even going to remotely approach the topic of bringing back m*randa, he would be. so much worse. (we’re also just like. gonna completely ignore what happened to the village itself or! perhaps the blast radius wasnt as large as we assumed? idk regardless the post-crystal-revival place of residence is still a village in the ass end of nowhere) 

anyway onto fgfhgjh self indulgent relationship ramblings lmao. this is all still pretty fluid in my head & im just playing with ideas. 

so like. karl heisenberg yeah? (are we surprised this is the one i went for i think not if you know my history). it’s 100% a tedious slow burn lmao i mean years of buildup. she’s fairly quiet and mostly keeps to herself however she also used to abide by the ‘keep your head down and obey’ strategy of dealing with miranda and i suspect that would probably? chafe with heisenberg a bit? because on one hand she clearly has no love for the woman but she’s also not doing anything about it. so they don’t exactly fight because it’s not like he really knows her well but there’s a long feeling-out period before she finally gets approached with the request of providing more of the organic components to his army. once again it’s a pretty neutral response & at first she’s more motivated by curiosity instead of anything altruistic but other time you know, conversations happen, there’s a nice little routine they’ve built up. he even walks her back after family meetings a few times without realizing because he’s focused more on whatever they’re talking about. i also keep going back to the glasses thing because its sweet & he can brush it off as something practical. the low-light vision is very much still an issue for her and while the factory is usually okay, some areas are still no good. same with a lot of the indoor areas in the village actually, to the point where her usual eyewear is basically a somewhat translucent blindfold to ‘muffle’ light (outside she’s got a parasol with a black veil on the edge of it too). so he just like. makes a pair with an appropriate lens but probably doesn’t mention they were made by him until years later lmao. but they’re super useful and she wears them often which i think he would kind of love & probably get weirdly bashful about. they probably don’t actually for real get together until after the game and things have more or less settled down & everyone is trying to figure out what they do with their lives next but i think seeing him again is probably one of the most blatant displays of emotions she’s ever had lmao. like as fun as the idea of a secret relationship going on while miranda is still alive is, i just don’t see either of them being receptive to the idea with everything thats happening. but after? that’s another story. feral looking man and woman who looks not feral but is actually just as unhinged inside, we love to see it.

There was a distant ringing in my ears. The sound of honking horns and brakes screeching to a stop and sirens seemed muffled. The sun seemed brighter than it had been. My body was buzzing with adrenaline and the feeling in my fingers was gone.There was debris amongst the road, pedestrians standing along the road or with one foot out of their car looking over their opened doors.

“Oh my god, are you alright?” a grey-haired woman stopped my wandering, her hands placed on my shoulders. Others stood next to her, barely within my vision through my helmet.

“I think so.” I mumbled, turning around to the wreck that I had just barely escaped with my life. My motorcycle laid in pieces off to the side of the intersection. The car that had run through the red light was wrecked, the front slightly crumpled from impact.

Police cars surround the area, immediately blocking off the road and encouraging pedestrians and drivers to detour. Emergency medical staff jumped from the ambulances, two coming towards where I stood with the older woman, and two to the man who looked unconscious in the front seat.

“Mx, my name is Alex Khan and this is my partner Trey Alpin. Do you know your name?” His voice was urgent and demanding, but not aggressive.

“My name is Y/f/n Y/l/n.” My voice wavered and shock began to overwhelm my senses. My hands grasped at my helmet, struggling to pull it off.

“Hold on, let me help you. We don't want to add insult to injury.” his partner insisted his hands hooking under my helmet and carefully pulling it off of my head. 

“Alright Ms. Moon. Can you walk?” and despite it sounding like the dumbest question considering I was standing right in front of them, my knees gave out before giving them an answer. “We’ve got you.”

I turned to the older woman who still stood there with her hand covering her mouth and tears welling in her eyes. “Thank you.”  she replied with a simple nod and a reassuring smile before the two paramedics helped me to the back of one of the ambulances at the scene.

“Is the driver alright?” I asked after they sat me on the end of the truck, a shock blanket wrapped around my shoulders.

“Lets focus on you first then we’ll get an update on him for you.” Alex smiled. 

Trey stood to the next to him jotting down notes, before setting it to the side as Alex moved to the other ambulance.

“Stare at my finger for me.” he said, holding his index finger in front of my face before shining a light into my eyes, checking for the pupil's reaction. “Good, no concussion.” He said with a reassuring smile.

He wrote it down amongst the other notes on the clipboard before turning back. “Do you mind taking off your gear so I can check for breaks or sprains?” I nodded quietly, shrugging off the shock blanket and tugging at the zipper of the leather jacket covering my top.

“Also do you have someone that you can call?” He asked, filling the silence as I winced pulling my arms from the sleeves.

“I do but my phone was in my bike’s hideaway compartment. So I highly doubt it's functional anymore.” I said, giving a small smile.

“No worries, you can borrow a phone from any of us after I check you over for injuries.”

 His hands were cold compared to my burning skin as he ran them down my arms, moving my wrists careful of the road rash across my knuckles that wore through my gloves. “Does that hurt?” I shook my head no as he repeated the same motions on my other arm receiving the same response.

His hands moved to the back of my neck squeezing along the sides of my spine, eliciting a slight wince from me. “Did that hurt?”

“Just a little.” 

“Sorry” he pressed his lips together and his eyebrows furrowed. He stepped to the side continuing down my back with one hand without any other trouble. “Just some slight whiplash, nothing major, just be cautious with activities.”

He moved back in front of me, his hands settling on my highest rib, slowly trailing down my sides before I grimaced at the gentle touch he was using. “Sorry” he muttered before continuing.

“So that might be a break or just a crack but you'll have to take a ride with us to get that x-rayed.”

“Uhm, can I actually make my call while you continue to check me over?” I asked quietly, my mind still a little muddled with the fact that I was sitting in the back of an ambulance with a fractured rib being my worst injury.

“Of course.” He pulled his phone from his uniform pocket, unlocking the screen and opening the keypad. “Here you go. I'm just going to run over your legs and then wrap your hands.” I only nod in confirmation as I begin typing in the number.

After a few rings, the line clicked. “Tony Stark who is this and why are you calling me?”

“Tony…” My voice cracked trying to hold back the tears that had begun to form in my eyes.

“Y/n/n? What happened? Friday get a read on the call.” he called to the A.I. frantically.

“I got into a wreck.” I said my voice wavering as tears threatened to spill over “Im at 42nd and 11th.”

“On it.” And with that the call ended, and the panic set in.

“Thanks. Can I get oxygen or something? I- I cant breath.” I say handing Trey his phone back, my hands shaking and my breathing become erratic.

“Yea, of course one second.” He agreed hopping into the truck grabbing a tank and mask, setting up and bringing it back to me. I held the mask over my nose doing my best to take calming breaths as he brought the blanket back over my shoulders.

Commotion amongst the street caused me to open my eyes back up to see Tony in his Ironman suit landing next to the street blocked signs. A black lamborghini pulled up behind him, Bucky and Nat stepping out. It was amusing to watch the police hold their hands out, trying to block the trio from entering into the restricted area, but with a flip of a badge from Nat and a scolding from Tony, they stepped aside. 

The trio took a minute analyzing the damage, noting the obliterated bike that belonged to their second youngest Avenger. The plastic and metal spread across the street casting shadows from the flashing red and blue lights. The car that was stopped in the middle of the intersection with the hood crumpled. 

“Oh my god, Y/n/n.” Nat was the first to wrap me carefully into a hug. “Are you ok? What happened?” Bucky and Tony stood behind her both with rage in their eyes.

“Some guy ran a red light. I’m ok.” I said casting my gaze to the other ambulance where it seemed that the driver was still unresponsive.

“The only points of concern are thier minor whiplash, the road burns and fractured ribs 5-7 on the left side. I suggest getting an xray to make sure they are only fractures and nothing more and a CT scan for any other internal injuries that I can't diagnose here. I would offer a ride to the hospital but I realize that you will have better medical technology at the Avengers Tower.” Trey listed, smiling at the three Avengers standing there.

“Thank you very much for taking care of her. Apply at Stark Industries, I’ll find a place for you on the medical staff.” Tony smiled.

“Let's get you home.” Bucky spoke quietly, and I agreed adamantly.

“They’ll have to report to one of the police officers before leaving the scene.” Trey reminded us as I grabbed my jacket and helmet.

“Thank you.” Nat said, helping me from my spot. “Can you walk?” I nodded. Setting down the oxygen and dropping the blanket from my shoulders. I gripped onto her hand and pushed against the ambulance bed with the other to get onto my feet.

I took a minute to find my balance, hanging onto Nat for support. Her arm was wrapped around my waist as she helped me walk over to one of the police officers.

“Are you the motorbike rider?”

“Yes sir.” I replied, releasing my grip on Nat, noting that Bucky and Stark were standing closely behind on guard.

“I just have some routine questions for you quickly.” I nodded my head and he began asking the questions.

After the officer finished his follow up he thanked me before Nat began to pull me away from the scene.

“Wait. I asked about the driver of the car. I haven't heard anything.” I stopped turning around to see paramedics surrounding the bed of the other ambulance.

“Honey, don't worry about him. Come on let's get you home.” Nat insisted. I pulled away from her grip stumbling slightly.

“Just because he ran a red light and hit me doesn't make him any less important. I just want to check to make sure he’ll recover.” I argued before making my way over to the commotion.

The paramedics and a few police officers were congregated near the end of the ambulance as I approached. I could hear the orders for medical equipment being called out as I grew closer.

“Excuse me.” I tapped on someone's shoulder. 

“Y/n? Why are you still here?” Trey asked once he had turned to see me.

“I asked earlier about the driver. Will he make a recovery?” I asked peaking over his shoulder to watch paramedics lifting the stretcher into the back.

“He’ll make a full recovery. He'll be spending a few years in prison for this though. If you're worried about insurance coverage dont worry. Officers will get that sorted when he's responsive.” Trey explained.

“Oh, I’m not worried about that. I just wanted to make sure he’ll make a recovery. Thank you.” I smiled before turning back to the three Avengers waiting at the police barricade.

“Ready to go?” Bucky asked as I joined them. I simply nodded my head as Nat wrapped her arm around me again leading me to the car.

“Let’s go get you healed up. I heard Cho is working on something with broken bones. Maybe you can be a guinea pig!” Tony exclaimed with a smile.

“As intriguing as that sounds I doubt that I’m stable enough to endure whatever it may be.” I replied as I settled into the front seat of the car.

“Fair enough.” Tony smiled. “Im proud of you ya know. For that little thing you just did. For understanding that his life is still important.”

“I learned from the best.” I looked at the three of them, each having a proud smile across their face.

anyways here's a very self-indulgent sambucky the handmaiden! au that i wrote at midnight literally 7 hours before my exam

tw // mentions of suicide

- sam is sook-hee and bucky is hideko obvs

- sam is a criminal working for the power broker aka sharon while bucky or in this case, the winter soldier, was a test experiment for HYDRA / is now an assassin + bodyguard for their leader, alexander pierce

- sharon is conducting business w hydra to obtain some weapons and idk black market stuff which forces her to go to siberia, but obviously the ultimate weapon she wants to take home is the infamous winter soldier

- she asks sam to pretend to be her butler/bodyguard but is actually hiring him to get information on the winter soldier program and obtain the code words needed to control them

- they end up staying in pierce's mansion in like a really remote place in siberia

- sam gets acquainted w the other butlers and housekeepers, they tell him that the area is haunted because they would always hear a man screaming just before daybreak followed by complete silence. they also tell him that the forest is haunted by the spirit of a man who killed himself there

- just like the housekeepers said, sam wakes around 3-4 in the morning to the sound of a man screaming followed by complete silence

- anyways the next morning he accompanies sharon to her first meeting w hydra officials, and that's where he encounters bucky

- after the meeting, sharon is all like, "change of plans. we're going to steal the winter soldier." sam's like "and who's that?", "the person u were standing next to earlier,"

- afterwards, sam starts to spy on bucky. he doesn't talk much, sam notices, actually scratch that this man does not talk period

- they were standing by the door a few feet away from where their bosses were talking. "so uh, what do i call you?" sam asks one day, but bucky is like a statue, his response being a mere blink

- sharon and pierce always have their business meetings in the morning, but they also have spend time at night, usually supper or dinner, that's more casual. sam notices that pierce's bodyguard is less stiff and more human during the later hours of the day

- sam and bucky are again standing by the door. "what do i call you?" bucky asks quietly, almost like a whisper. "uh sam, you can call me sam. and you?"

- he freezes for a while before replying, "james barnes"

- another thing that sam notices is that bucky is NEVER alone. either he's with pierce or he's escorted by other bodyguards (who look like they couldn't even take him down altogether)

- one morning, after the usual distant screams, sam decides to figure out where the screams were actually coming from. he goes to the main house, pretending to bring tea for sharon (there's a small camera hidden in the tray)

- he sees the usual group of bodyguards escorting a half-naked and disheveled bucky from the stairs to the basement. when they see him, the group looks like a pack of deers in headlights, one of them reaches for their gun, "i'm bringing tea for ms. carter," he quickly says.

- "go ahead," the leader, rumlow, says, "but next time use the main hallway will you?"

- "right, she just said it was faster this way, and she's really peculiar about the temperature of her tea."

- he shows the video to sharon and she's like "i need u to find out wtf is going on in that basement."

- one night, sharon and pierce are having dinner tgt "since we're on the topic of legends and fairytales, i have to ask about something," sharon says,

- "go, on," pierce replies

- "the winter soldier program, does it really exist?"

- the hydra leader chuckles, "i was wondering when you would ask that," then points toward bucky, "my dear, you're looking at the winter soldier."

- sam listens in on the conversation. the winter soldier program was a program created by hydra in the 1940s with the first successful test subject being an american ww2 soldier named steve rogers. apparently he was given this serum that made him super strong and for 10 years, while the other test subjects were cryogenically frozen, hydra worked to find ways to control him but failed and they had to keep him restrained most of the time.

- one night, rogers broke out of the facility, stole all the remaining formulas, and threw them away before blowing his brains out in the nearby forest

- after rogers' suicide, hydra brought out its second test subject, bucky barnes, and used the remaining serum on him. afterwards hydra froze him again while they worked on something to keep his mind under control.

- around the 1960s they created the trigger words and since then they've been using bucky to do their dirty work for them. "this, my dear, is our greatest creation." pierce says as he approaches a stand displaying a red book. "his trigger words. say them and he will do anything you want. if you need some errands taken care of, i'd be happy to lend him to you. we can talk about the costs later."

- "i don't have anything i can't take care of myself at the moment, but i'll keep that offer in mind." sharon replies

- now sharon's like "okay we HAVE to steal him and the codes." she figured out that all of the mansion's surveillance turns off for an hour to reboot from 1 AM to 2, and tells sam to basically go to the basement and manipulate bucky when he's not under hydra's control. "make him trust you, that way we won't have much of a fuss taking him to madripoor."

- that night, after the clock strikes 1, sam sneaks into the basement and finds a cell with bucky inside. there's a bed, well, more like a mattress, but bucky's not sleeping on it. instead he's sitting in a corner, head against the wall, knees tucked in his chest, hyperventilating and,,,crying???

- "hey," sam whispers, "you okay?"

- the winter soldier stares at him with red rimmed eyes and a tear stricken face. "you're sam, you're her bodyguard."

- "yeah and you're the winter soldier, or do you prefer james?"

- "bucky. it's bucky"

- yeah basically sam visits bucky's cell every night for exactly 45 minutes before he has to sneak back out. he tries to gain bucky's trust and manipulate him but guess what they fall in love surprise surprise

- bucky tells sam his true story. how he and steve used to be ww2 soldiers that were experimented on by hydra. he remembers being frozen and the first thing he sees when they woke him up was steve's dead body. "they told me he shot his head in the forest." the first thing he felt was pain as they injected the serum into his veins then tried to erase his memories. he remembers going into cryo and being woken up over and over again to kill someone or destroy something.

- he also tells sam about the one night he broke out, ran as fast as he could, and jumped off a cliff, only for him to survive. he lost an arm, but hydra replaced it with another weapon. "i thought i would end there, but i just became more of a weapon"

- so sam starts to feel unsure about stealing the winter soldier bc goddamnit bucky's a person and he doesnt deserve any of this.

- also the more time he spends with bucky the more he realises that the actual james bucky barnes is a fucking piece of shit that still uses 40s slang and petnames and makes outdated jokes and is actually a big fucking flirt.

- and sam's heart breaks every time he looks at bucky's crestfallen face when he realises that their 45 minutes are over

- of all the people he could fall in love with, it just had to be a brainwashed assassin

- sharon tells him that in a few days, she and pierce will leave for a week to actually get the business transaction done. basically she tells sam that he should break bucky out of the mansion while they're away, take the trigger word book, and meet with torres so he can take them both to madripoor.

- while sharon and pierce leave, sam continues visiting bucky during the night. also he doesn't see bucky during the day bc they have no reason to bring him out of the cell, and he kinda misses him aw

- one night, he wakes up to noise, lots of it. everyone in the house is running. in the midst of all the chaos, sam hears, "find the soldier!"

- the first place sam goes to is the forest, and there he finds bucky kneeling by a frozen lake, with a gun in his hands. sam tackles him and throws the gun away

- "what the fuck were you thinking huh?!" sam shouts, tightly holding the front of bucky's shirt, and he can't help but cry at the thought of bucky's dead body. and all of a sudden he feels like shit. for manipulating bucky and taking advantage of his trauma for his own gain. so he gathers bucky in his arms and tells him everything. about what he and sharon were actually planning, what his true motivations were when he first went inside the basement, and how he actually grew to care for bucky

- bucky just laughs and says, "i know,” he reveals that sharon's plan all along was to take bucky and the trigger words for herself, and frame sam as the mastermind behind everything. she'll then fake bucky’s death and offer sam as another test subject for the winter soldier program as compensation for stealing (and “killing”) bucky

- "how do you know all this?"

- "she visited me the first night you arrived and we talked. she told me she'll take me away and all i had to do was manipulate you into breaking me out." bucky confesses, "i didn't realise you were a sweetheart, that made everything so complicated."

- anyways sam knocks bucky unconscious and basically helps hydra guards put him back in his cell. "just saying, maybe we shouldn't tell pierce abt this yknow" and the hydra guards r like yeah no totally cause if he knew we're all fucked

- anyways bucky and sam come up with a plan to escape together. sam contacts a friend known as baron helmut zemo, who's basically sharon's biggest enemy, but more importantly, owes sam a big ass debt and asks him to give the two of them safe passage to sokovia

- they plan to escape two nights before sharon and pierce return to siberia. on that night, sam wakes up at exactly 1 AM like he always does, and kills everyone in the house. he puts a bullet in every hydra guard, every housekeeper, everyone. he disables all the techs in the house, steals the trigger word book and breaks bucky out of his cell.

- "wait. there's something i have to show you." bucky says. he takes sam to the facility. the place where they tortured him and experimented on him. the place where every other test subjects were kept frozen.

- (if you've watched the handmaiden, yes this is a reference to the library scene) sam can't contain the anger he feels when he looks at the room. "is this where they tortured you? is this where the screams come from every night?"

- bucky nods. he points at a chair in the centre of the room, surrounded by machines and computers. "every morning they would drag me out of my cell, put me on that chair, and-" he swallows a choked sob, "and read the trigger words,"

- sam can't control it anymore. he grabs a metal rod and starts destroying the place. he breaks every machine, tearing them apart until they are nothing more than wires and buttons. he kills all the frozen test subjects, because they deserve better than this. he rips apart the pages of the winter soldier's mission reports, and gathers them into a pile.

- from afar, bucky watches as sam lights up the pile and everything in front of him starts to burn. when sam turns to look at him, he can't help but think about how magnificent he looks as the fire roars behind him. his hero. his guardian angel. his sam.

- sam approaches bucky and pulls him in for a hungry kiss. something he feels he should've done earlier. "no one will ever control you again." he says, and for once its a promise that bucky believes in.

- sam reaches in his bag and pulls out the red book. bucky starts to cry bc no one, not even before hydra, had ever loved him like this. "i mean it. no one." sam says. bucky throws the book in the fire and watches and both paper and leather melt into ash

- the end they escape using zemo's private jet and live happily ever after haha

-„OUT!“ she screamed and basically pushed you out of the house

-you stumbled backwards and your head hit the ground rather harshly

-your hand shot up to hold the wound on the back of your head

-your host mom didnt even care, she had slammed the door closed and left you there, bleeding

-and all that because of a misunderstanding

-your host sister (who‘s a dumbass bitch) had told her that you were constantly flirting with your host dad

-first of all gross, second of all you lived with them for taking care of a 5 year old girl

-why would you risk getting kicked out

-like now for instance

-after the realization hit you that you had a bleeding wound on your scull you sat up and looked around

-this neighborhood seemed lost, no one near to be seen

-of course there wasnt anyone around right in this exact moment of help needed

-so you slowly stood up, grabbed your suitcase and made your way to the house across the street to ask someone for help

-since you were bleeding, and not too light it took you some time to fully understand your situation

-but you eventually made it to the house and rang the doorbell

-literally a second later a dog shot around the corner and jumped up and down on your leg

-„hey.“ you greeted the fluffy little ball

-„Ellie!“ someone then shouted

-then this guy showed up

-tall, muscular, and damn handsome

-„hallo, hva gjør du her?“ he spoke and walked up to you to pull his dog away from your shaking body

-„sorry i dont speak norwegian. I fell.“ you explained and then showed him your hand covered in blood

-„oh fucking hell! Alright wait here, i‘ll get my keys to take you to the hospital.“

-without waiting for your response he ran inside, his dog right behind him

-it took him not even 30 seconds to come back out the front door you were standing in front of

-he had a towel in his hand

-„press this to the wound to make it stop bleeding“ he then told you and handed you the black towel

-„can you walk? Are you okay?“ he asked and grabbed your arm to help you around the house to his car

-once you were all settled he started the engine and drove you to the nearest hospital

-���what happened to you?“ he then asked and looked at you for a second

-„i was living with the Hansens. I was their au pair from (wherever you‘re from) but they kicked me out before because of some dumb misunderstanding.“ you told him

-„oh shit. So you got no place to go?“

-„i mean, i got this woman from the agency i traveled with who i could call, but she lives in Oslo, it might take her a while to get here or me to get to hers.“

-„thats fucking shit. What are you gonna do now?“ he asked seriously concerned

-„idk, first i need to get this fixed, i can worry about that later.“

-at the hospital they sewed my wound real quick while the guy, whose name i still dont know was waiting outside

-„it would be good for you to stay here overnight Ms y/l/n, just to make sure it heals the way it should.“ the doctor told you and handed you some disinfectant to clean your hands

-„okay.“ you just spoke and sat up straight

-„do you want us to get your boyfriend in here?“ she then asked making you smirk

-„he‘s not my boyfriend i dont even know him. He just helped me get here.“

-she nodded and then spoke:“Well be glad he did, you were bleeding heavily.“

-„anyway we‘re gonna get your room ready, just wait outside with your... friend.“

-you nodded and slowly walked out of the room

-„hey! Are you okay? Feeling better?“ the guy came up to you

-„yeah i am, thank you for driving me here ... whats your name actually?“ you sat down next to him

-„oh yeah right, I‘m Herman. What about you, stranger?“

-you laughed a little and then spoke:“My name‘s y/n. And thanks again.“

-„I have to stay overnight.“ you then added

-„Yeah i figured since it looked pretty bad.“

-you guys then sat there talking a bit until a nurse took you to your room

-Herman then gave you his number because he insisted on you calling him when he should pick you up the next day

-„you dont have to do this.“

-„no i actually do. You have no one here and im already involved here. I dont mind, really. Ill talk to my parents because I‘m staying with them in quarantine.“

-you thanked him again and then he left so you could get some rest

-it was about 9am when you woke up in a strange location

-your head didnt hurt

-other than your back

-you were pretty sensitive when its about sleeping on other mattresses

-„oh good morning ms y/l/n. How are you feeling?“ the nurse came in right after you had sat up and grabbed your phone to check your texts

-you had told your family last night what happened and they just told you to either contact that agency woman or come home right away but you really liked norway

-and the only choice was to stay with Herman‘s family and maybe find a job?

-„I‘m okay. My head doesnt hurt anymore.“

-„Dizzy?“

-you shook your head at her

-„let me check your heart rate.“

-she then also checked on your temperature but it all seemed fine so she wanted to talk to the doctor about when you could leave the hospital

-you then got dressed from some clothes out of your suitcase, brushed your hair as good as you could with the big bandaid on the back of your head

-and obviously brushed your teeth

-when you were about to get back to bed you heard a knock at the door

-„come in.“

bro this one just HITS DIFFERENT YKNOW? if you ignore the fact that they have scripts on stage and that it seems rushed, then its really beautiful. i was watching it last night and i heard senior year play and i started SOBBING. the fact that it was the end of the trilogy was so sad. also, avpsy was supposed to be the last starkid show which makes it even sadder. the songs in this show are just so much better. for example, tonight this school is mine, sidekick, i was. THEYRE ALL B O P S ! joey richter’s vocals improved soo much and he deserved that solo.

DYLAN FREAKING SAUNDERS, GET THIS MAN ON BROADWAY. i love the character and emotion he put into ja’far. if i believed gets me every time, a tearjerker if i do say so myself. joe walker as prince achmed was the best choice honestly, now he’s one of my dream roles. also, jeff blim’s aladdin???? GOLDEN. thst scene where you find out he murdered his parents and he goes through this whole dialogue between his other identity is hilarious. the comedy is beautiful.

and now, the musical that got me into starkid, this mess. ah yes, it was a hot july day. i was performing in a play, but oh shit i had strep!!! so i missed our last dress rehearsal :( but if it wasnt for that, i probably wouldn’t even know what starkid is. i remember trying to watch this musical when it first came out, but for some reason i had a fear of jeff blim so i turned it off. but i watched it and was like “DAYUM” also, robert manion’s hip wiggles are really fucking hot for some reason. i found this musical really funny and im really into comedy. the opening number? golden. the ending is where its at though, INEVITABLE. jon matteson has a really nice voice. and mariah rose faith, A GODDESS!!!! i had been watching mariah’s (@linguinismansion) covers ever since i got into theatre. i loved her dead girl walking cover and her world burn cover. (and now shes in mean girls!! wooo!) im also 90% sure mariah is why im a lesbian so...thanks...i guess?? anyway i love this show and its chaotic cast

aight so like,,,since im still kind of idk about which faceclaim i like the most, im just gonna stick with her more concrete origin story which iiissss….basically, zoe’s both literal blackfoot demi-god (her great-grandfather is napi who knows diana which is why diana is her godmother) and a descendant of the chinese legend the white snake. her dad is the great(insert centuries of time here)-grandson of the white snake (which makes ms. wonder woman of china zoe’s great aunt) as well as the descendant of the fabled first emperor of china, huangdi. zoe’s dad is also part alien dragon thing. im not gonna get into all of THAT bc im still developing it and it’s tedious i gotta make sure everything’s right, but bc zoe doesn’t like spend a lot of her time there sober, it’s not really that relevant atm so i can be a little lazy,,,as a treat. 

anyway that should also kind of answer the question about snake shedding……..*eyes emoji* *eyes emoji*

also idk if that’s like what you meant by origin story, but like it’s kind of where she starts. she starts being a vigilante bc aunt diana is kind of very influential. also because once the twins die and she’s overwhelmed by that survivor’s guilt, she never wants that to happen to anyone again. she particularly starts out by patrolling with sex workers in gotham, keeping them safe, walking them home; then she progresses to literally fighting abusers/p*dophiles/r*pists/etc. i dont talk about that part of her origin bc i dont wanna like,,, accidentally trigger anyone or anything. the first person she uh kills is actually one of those soo uh anyway.

once diana realizes what’s up, she starts to properly train zoe, but doesn’t necessarily take her on as like,,, a sidekick or anything. which is a kick in the teeth but zoe grins and bears it because she’s not gonna let THAT stop her. she doesn’t need diana to hold her hand through this (chill, zo, you’re like twelve, pls go dance in the woods and creep boys out by being a feral little girl like the rest of us).

superhero get up?

oof and her superhero get up…hmm… still kind of working on it. but i’ve taken some inspiration from (as much as i am not looking forward to the movie, i thought about this design before the trailer came out BUT) the black widow movie suits that like - like the white one that yelena wears bc im pretty sure the fabric can like mimic your surroundings (dunno the technical name) and i thought that would be pretty fucking cool. also like,,, a lot of kon’s costumes. i don’t exactly have a color scheme for her, like esp when she was a teen titan, but i could def see her more grown up suit (during the new boot goofin arc) being white or black. 

there is one thing, though, that i’ve always really liked the thought of and that was of her having like,,, a cool tech-y retractable cowl. like the captain marvel cowl where her hair is kind of out but her upper face and most of her head is disguised. OH and like bc zoe’s bi, she of course has to have a mo’ where she wears her big oversized denim jacket over her suit. (also i am open to design options so pls do not be shy, i need help making decisions.)

anyways i love how gon is increasingly approaching situations with his Plucky Shounen Protag Attitude in full swing, and he pretty much gets shot down every time. BUT his general determination to see killua bc killuas his FRIEND and hes gonna RESCUE HIM is still a good and pure motivating force 

like here, when hes climbing over the wall and hes like whatever i dont wanna have to deal w/being tested thats bullshit, i wanna see killua, my intentions are pure, im gonna try my luck with the dog....i was like ok yeah he’ll get over and like tame or defeat the dog and the guard will be suitably impressed bc nobodys ever done That before, and then gon will continue on to get killua 

but NOPE instead the guard calls him down and explains that gon Will Die if he tries that, and then the guard will die too for letting that happen. and gon is like oh shit my actions have consequences for people other than me, wow. 

and THEN the guard takes them in to meet the dog. and hot DAMN that is a scary creature. not even really a dog tbh. they did an excellent job making the dog Legit Scary and not just like, big and flashy looking....those eyes are so soulless, and the proportions are freaky 

and the guard says exactly what i was thinking - that gon would use his Country Boy Woodland Creature Skills to workaround the dog....but then the subversion - this creature is NOTHING like the woodland critters gon is probably used to dealing with. theres no way gon stood a chance here. the guard just saved him from a really unfortunate death 

i love all the Super Heavy Stuff in the servant house that seems so inconvenient vbhjdkfasjfld. also forgot to mention earlier but the guard guy being Absolutely Ripped was wild and kinda funny

i predict there wont be much fighting in this little arc bc how tf else is it so short. at this point i rlly think gon is just gonna grab killua and go lmao. im super curious abt how thats gonna go down, considering that killua is currently strung up just bc he wont apologize...so i cant imagine his family would just let him leave w/gon. i wonder if killua will fight them, or if gons determination will impress them and then theyll let killua go (doubt it)

Mingyu:

Gryffindor boy, the sorting hat didn’t even touch his head before the Gryffindor table erupted into applause

His father was a gryffindoor, his mom was a gryffindor, his grandmother was a gryffindor, his grandmothers grandmother was a gryffindor….do I need to continue?

Very very good at potions, despite being terribly clumsy

His favorite subject however is transfiguration

Once turned himself into half human half goblet….. a human sized goblet with two freakishly long feet

And the Transfiguration Professor, Mr Rodney Silvering, had to get Minghao to walk him to the hospital wing because Mr Silvering couldnt stop laughing

He’s a well-liked goof, very gullible and charming, everyone knows him but he’s bad at remembering names so he doesn’t always know who the person he just had a 5 minute chat with was 

Often falls victim to Jihoon, Jeonghan or Seungkwan’s feet binding jinxes

Once broke his nose from a jinx Seungkwan had shoot at him as they walked up the moving staircase and Seungkwan has been eternally sorry since, gifting him a new set of Quidditch Keeper gloves and a helmet for christmas 

Jihoon, Mingyu and Minghao are the only members of the N.M.P.C (Non-Magical Paint Club)... Mingyu started it after starting Muggle Art in his fifth year....and he found out he loved painting.......so the Headmaster gave the three of them persmission to use the room of requirement as a clubroom 

Mingyu is the keeper on the Gryffindoor quidditch team, and once fell off his broom mid-match because he got distracted by an Alicantro flying above him

Jeonghan had to take him to the hospital wing with a couple broken fingers and a broken rib

Often talks to the portraits, they all know him by first name because he stubles up the stairs even five years after he first started at Hogwarts

Does okay in school, but is terrible at History of Magic

Joshua often tries to help him study because he’s the only one that doesn’t get annoyed at Mingyu’s whining 

He could be a good duelist if he wasn’t so scared of being hit by stupefy

Jihoon tries to help him get over his fear of the stupify charm by surprisingly casting it at him when Mingyu isn’t paying attention

Mingyu loves Wonu’s cat Pocha,,,pocha doesn’t love him back…….

Has a pet fire dwelling salamander that his sister Minseo caught for him when she was five, its name is Scarlet

Scarlet is currently around 14 years old and Mingyu was extremely relieved when Seungkwan told him that salamanders often live to be over 20 years if they live a happy life

He’s often seen hanging around the great hall with Seungcheol, Vernon, Seokmin, Chan and Seungkwan His other favorite spot is by the lake, where Jeonghan, Junhui and Seungkwan often skip stones and sneak prank supplies into school grounds through a secret passage in the boat house

Mingyu is on lookout duty but his heart is still beating out of his chest as he sits by the water waiting for the rest of the guys to return

Mingyu’s wand is a greyish brown Alderwood with a beautifully corset like carved handle. Unicorn hair core, 12.5 inches

His patonus is a Stag with an impressive antlers

Seokmin:

A gryffindor that doesnt think he deserves to be a gryffindor

Not because he’s a coward or unloyal or any of that sort

He just doesn’t think he deserves it….plot twist….he does

Seokmin is one of the bravest people in his year…..he dares to be loud, different and weird n is often the center of attention during lunch 

His laugh can be regcognised all the way from the quidditch bleachers to the owl tower

He’s also extremely loyal to his friends and the people he cares about and his moral compass is his path in life.....will stand up for anyone he thinks 

This boy thinks doing the right thing is so so important and deeply cares for everyone he knows

Even people he barely knows the name of

He rooms with Mingyu and is seatmates with Minghao

Seokmin’s favorite subjects are Herbology, Potions and Charms and this is based purely on the fact that these subjects are key to becoming a healer

Because Seokmin wants to become a healer!!! Maybe he’ll work at St.Mungos,,or maybe the hospital wing at Hogwarts,,.,,.,…who knows! Not him! He doesn’t rly care either he just wants to be a healer

That smile can heal though

Often volunteers to help in the hospital wing n all the matrons that work there adore him!! The cheif matron, Ms Corck, made him his own little desk in the office room and he’ll often sit there when he needs some room for himself

He also loves Care For Magical Creatures bc he loves animals n wants to learn everything about them, even though he’s lowkey scared of the Hippogriff that lives by the Owl Tower

Loves the bowtruckle family that lives on Soonyoungs bed though!! Often brings them food when he sneaks into the Hufflepuff common room

Seokmin, Seungkwan and Jun often spend time in the Owlery, Seungkwan and Jun taking care of their owls and Seokmin chatting and petting the owls that doesn’t get as much attention as some of the bigger and prettier owls

Studies very hard n often falls asleep on the couch in front of the fireplace in the gryffindoor common room leaving Mingyu or Seungcheol w the task to get him up to his room and into his bed

The great hall is his domain, and he often hangs there to battle Wonu and Soonyoung in Wizards Chess

Seokmin doesn’t have a lot of friends like Seungkwan, Jeonghan or Seungcheol but everyone seems to know who he is

Known for his amazing singing voice and he’ll often attract a small audience of people when he hums on a ballad while he sits in the viaduct courtyard with Jihoon, Seungcheol, Jun and Chan 

He’s best friends with the portrait of the fat lady and knows a lot of the passwords for the secret passages

Keeps books from the restricted section under his bed.....Maybe Minghao and Vernon stole them for him maybe they didn’t who knows

Seokmin’s wand is made of willow with a phoenix feather core. 11.5 inches, light wood with a charmin twisted handle

His patronus is a St. Bernhard dog, Seokmin was also the first in his group to cast the patronus spell successfully, thinking about his happiest memory (when his friends had gotten him a surprise birthday gift and took him to see a quidditch match)

Minghao:

Slytherin through and through

Pureblood, family history in Slytherin

A true Slytherin, his resourceful and cunning ways shining through

He’s the Slytherin seeker, one of the best in years says the flying instructor

A disciplined and good duelist as well as a top student

He’s basically Slytherins pride, and teachers often try to convince him to become a prefect

Minghao is truly a calm and compassionate soul, his favorite subjects being Care For Magical Creatures and Muggle Studies

He often seats with Seokmin in lectures……Except for in Astrology…..He sits with a random boy from Ravenclaw in that class because Mingyu steals Seokmin bc they sit at the back and nap

His favorite spot is the secret staircase leading down to the pathway down to the boathouse, he will often sit there and read, sometimes alone, sometimes with one or two of his friends

Hangs with Mingyu, Jihoon, Vernon and Jun a lot......they like hanging in the ravenclaw duelling arena........tee hee

Spends a lot of time with the Quidditch players of his friend group...Seungcheol, Jun, Soonyoung, Jihoon, Mingyu and Chan 

They often sit in the Quidditch Pitch changing rooms

Genuinely interested in his friends interests and often reads books on Care Of Magical Creatures to discuss with Seungkwan and Seokmin, or Potion recipes to talk about with Mingyu and Joshua,,, talks Quidditch with Jun, Soonyoung, Chan and Seungcheol, reads up on muggle music to have a topic to chat about with Vernon and Jihoon, reads up on Magical Theory to ask Wonu some insightful questions

He just cares a lot but doesn’t show it in a typical way

He kinda looks out for his friends from the sidelines u kno

He doesn’t really care about rules or authority bc he never gets caught when he breaks the rules anyway bc he’s a master...planner

Knows a lot of secret rooms around the castle,,, esp the secret passage that leads from the clocktower courtyard to the back of the restricted sections of the library

Spends a lot of time with Jihoon in the Slytherin common room, often discussing muggle instruments and bands

Minghao is well liked, and takes good care of the younger students in his house, often becoming somewhat of a mentor for them as he helps them understand their curriculum and explains the basics of Divination and Study of Ancient Runes to the confused third years

He doesn’t keep pets, but is very friendly with the Thestrals that pull the carriages from the train tracks and up to the forest each semester starts

Minghao’s wand is white wooden Aspen with golden rims around the handle and a blue sapphire fastened at the bottom. 8 inches, long slender pointy tip, Unicorn hair core.
