They had already been banished by then so it makes sense for them to be called that, they were "The Five" only before the banishment and then at one point, once the martial art was forbidden, people started calling them the "Forbidden Five," especially with how one can truly wield Shatterspin it would make sense to call it forbidden.

In the flashback in The Final Game, Nokt refers to the Wolf Clan as the "Army of the Five," not the "Forbidden Five," since their teachings, language, and history weren't forbidden until later. After hearing Ras call the Five the "Forbidden Five," he and Rox exclusively use that term.

Tbh it sounds way cooler than "The Five." I'd call my quintet of evil elemental masters the "Forbidden Five" too.

If Rising Dragon is a spinjitsu based technique about motion and Shatterspin is a (corrupted) spinjitsu based technique about strength...are there five more spinjitsu based techniques about life,energy and the rest of the source dragon concepts?...Is Dragon Form,a move based on spinjitsu,one of those?

It'd be funny if during the Evil Jay reveal in the show he doesn't take off his mask so the rest of the Ninja assume Jay fucking DIED and someone else got his powers and is now beating them up

My brain started cooking up some potential Cole and Jay angst regarding the whole evil Jay thing. I don't have any specific scenarios figured out, but I had this realization that Cole is the only one of the main ninja (minus Jay I guess) who hasn't learned Rising Dragon. We've seen Jay use Shatterspin.

Basically what I'm getting at is imagine a fight between Cole and Jay where Jay uses Shatterspin and Cole can't really defend himself without Rising Dragon, so instead of fighting back he's trying to dodge and desperately trying to reason with Jay and get him to remember. Meanwhile Jay just continues to sink further and further into his own hatred or something like that.

This might also be a little bit of me coping since I feel like it's unlikely that Cole's gonna be going after Jay next season since it looks like it's just gonna be Kai and Nya going. If it were up to me I'd have it be Nya and Cole since they're the characters closest to Jay, but you know that's just me.

I have other things to say about the season like the pacing and Arin's arc (I have a lot to say about this) but

I told myself I had extremely low expectations for Amnesiac Jay's arc.

Just- I don't know, it's not that they did something wrong with his character, it's just the anticlimactic thing that everything happened so quickly in his first fight in the tournament. I already knew that Nya was going to win, there was no way she would be eliminated so quickly. So when they start fighting it is disappointing because you know that Jay will lose and it is even more anticlimactic that it is directly in his first introductory fight in the tournament.

But this may be a complaint about the pacing of the season because I feel like everything happened too fast and a lot of things were directly happening off-screen. There's no scene of Jay escaping from the Administration, Ras recruiting or training him, Ras kicking him out, nothing, just exposition.

At least they didn't play his character as a joke, but idk

Everything happened too fast and it felt like the writers didn't know how to handle so many characters at once.
