I love Evan and Destin as a couple because they're so in love with each other in completely different ways they're both so funny.

Evan brings up Destin at least once a chapter and is just constantly like, "I wish Destin were here. Destin would laugh at my jokes. Destin would know how to sail my pride and joy boat that I named after him without ever telling him. Destin so cool. I wonder if I can get away with writing more love letters to Destin.

Meanwhile Destin never mentions Evan and largely pretends he doesn't exist. Yet, every time he shows up or anyone so much as mentions the name Evan Strangward, Destin does the equivalent of choking on water while trying to act natural

i saw this tweet the other day, and i felt like i needed to share. i know i post about raisa/han a lot, but i SWEAR that i DO like other characters. but until cinda releases the super secret extra chapter of Deathcaster where Han's body was being cared for in Marisa Pines the entire time and they managed to release his soul back into his body so that he and Raisa can spend time with their children and grow old together and then die of old age at the exact same time-- I don't think i'll ever be truly over them.

The Grey Council

The liches form the largest cooperative body in Pallidus. It's upper ranks are comprised of the great wizards who sought the secret of unlife to ward of death. They covet the secrets of their achievements and only share with others who have achieved greater lichdom. It is the final goal of many prospective liches to join the Grey Council, but they must prove their value by successfully deriving the secret for themselves. This has led to many methods and pathways to lichdom being discovered and frequent arguments break out among the council debating which is best. So much so that all meetings have a moratorium on the subject.

The citizens of Pallidus are the purview of the council. Many of the liches are accomplished necromancers and head the Regenetorium. To enable the control of the hundreds of thralls within the city, the council cooperated to create the Mortis Cerebrum. As such the council wields great power over the general population, as well as a significant portion of the military. If necessary (and with majority agreement of the council) complete control can be taken. The undead created by the lich themselves also bear the unique affectations of their creators.

When the council convenes a councilmember will choose a neutral location for the meeting to take place. Rarely will the council reuse meeting spaces, for fear of spies, vampiric or otherwise, learning their secrets. However within the council they do not guard their spaces that jealously, and some liches have been known to frequent the private laboratories of the others.

to the people of tumblr. i implore you to read my favorite book series of like 6 years, the shattered realms by cinda williams chima, which contains my #1 ship of all time and happens to have like 5 other fans on planet earth and im not sure any of them are alive today. you cannot give up at the first book you have to make it to book 3 because thats when my alltime favorite characters start getting more attention (in the first two they're established as antagonists from other characters' povs but theyre trying to do good :c)

if it'd help persuade a single person, i drew all the main characters here as well.... i just need someone to talk to about desvan....... please ......

if u want more info abt the series, it's a young adult wartime fantasy that has a good amount of focus on the political aspects of the war. my fav is destin karn, lieutenent and spymaster for the 2 kings of the antagonistic kingdom :P

he and evan are in a canon queer relationship which brings me such joy and its such a fun dynamic, with a troubled soldier x free pirate, bonded through an unlikely encounter. they have such fun exchanges as well!

when i say i need someone to talk to about it i MEAN it i would like nothing more than to compare notes i have been keeping this to myself since early middle school and theres, like, one substantial post abt the series on tumblr and no other social media apps and hardly any more fics about it. ive reread the third and fourth books probably like 8 times (+ at least 8 more for just the beginning of book 3 and the end of book 4) and it just sits in my head rotting because i can only turn destin and evan over in my microwave brain so many times before they get burnt or something

this is a cry for help and tumblr is my final hope. tumblr, home of the niche fandoms and readers and also gay people.... heed my call !!! i beg of thee!!!!! read my favorite series !!!! whole post literally begging and pleading!!!!

Babysitting duty calls, Klarion

It another world threatening battle for the justice league, young justice against the league of Villains and chaos children before most of the chaos children froze as if they sense something bad was approaching and immediately dipped out.. except klarion whom was fighting with raven who immediately froze up too late in front of the portal.

Only for a green portal to appear, as a worned out floating glowing green, but blue skinned teenage boy who turn into a man with red eyes, a clock staff in hand and a glowing white hair baby in a baby carrier.

Klarion is literally struggling like a feral cat who got wet in cold water against some invisible force speaking in some odd static like language before giving up after half a minute when the man spoke back with a short word.

The man now just shape-shifting into turn elderly just gave klarion the baby carrier before noticing how the heroes and villains have stop in mid battles looking at both klarion and him.

"All in soon time, but be warn Flashes whom break the laws of times will get their due if you keep messing with the past and future." Spoken the elderly now shape-shifted into a young boy before he turn back to klarion leaving him a note and glowing baby bag before floating back into the swirling green portal.

Klarion could only look at note with his eye twitching, Teekl meowing as she climb into the baby carrier purring around the glowing baby.

"Why do I keep getting babysitting duty, it so unfa-..." klarion grumbled as he pick up the baby carrier and bag teleporting away..

....

....

....

"What just happened?" Said Dick whom only one question would be put on hold til later in the watchtower of what just happen before the fight resuming with the young and original justice league winning since the league of Villains were distracted.
