October 27th - Madam Xandu

The mysterious heroine known as Madam Xandu was born Nimue Inwudu, the younger sister to Morgaine Le Fay and Vivienne, the Lady of the Lake. These sisters were descendants of the Elder Folk, survivors of Atlantis who evolved into the parallel race of humans known as the Homo-magi.

Nimue had been lovers with Merlin but turned on him when he used his magic to manipulate the fate of Camelot. Merlin lashed out at Nimue, using his sorcerery to strip Nimue of her immortality and forcing her to utilize special positions and elixirs to maintain her youth and vitality. She would late regain this immortality by way of defeating Death in a game of cards.

Nimue spent the next several centuries roaming the world, finding herself involved in various important moments in history. She became an adviser to Kublai Khan and later Marie Antoinette. She fell in love with a woman in 15th century Spain yet was unable to prevent her love’s execution during the Spanish Inquisition. Years later she had an affair with Giovanni Zatara who proposed marriage to her. Nimue was able to see Zatara’s future and turned down his proposal, knowing that his marriage to another woman would lead to the birth of the great magical hero Zatanna. 

Throughout her many years, Nimue maintained a sometimes adversarial, sometimes romantic relationship with The Phantom Stranger. Although the details are conflicted, it is possible that Nimue and The Stranger had a child together who is the great descendent of John Constantine.

In the modern era, Nimue has renamed herself Madam Xandu and rededicated herself to helping the world of man in fending off supernatural threats. She set up a fortune telling and Tarot reading parlor in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan. She lost the use of her sight during the Day of Vengeance event, but has since regained her eyes in the post ReBirth continuity. 

Madam Xandu has aided The Shadowpack and Trench-Coat Brigade and acted as an affiliate member of The Sentinels of Magic, The Demon Knights and The Justice League Dark.  Actress Jeryl Prescott portrayed a version the character in the 2019 Swamp Thing television series. 

Madam Xandu first appeared in the pages of Doorway to Nightmare #1 (1978).

The marshy, rocky Shadowpack camp. At the center of camp sits rocks where dogs lounge, while the dens sit on the outer rim. Surrounding camp is tall bushes and water reeds and then steep, slippery slopes. Mud covers the slopes which makes the camp hard to reach by invading packs. There is a dryer place to climb and enter that is hidden among the reeds, which is known to pack members. Branches and logs are cluttered with shelf fungus. Shadowpack dogs are tough as nails, and are the most open to rogues joining. Powerful, fighting-inclined dogs, guard dogs, and water-inclined dogs like retrievers are common, but dogs of all kinds are welcome as long as they are helpful to the pack.

Heres some Echo AND Toby! Echo’s the main antagonist of the entire gen 1, 2 and 3 but is easily overpowered by Fathom who I haven’t talked about yet!

I did say happy fourth of july but, like....just read this. If you know @painter-shadowpack ıs my first account (ıf you don’t know you know now) then you do know ı am a muslim person, and on the previous ask ı told you guys that ı don’t speak englısh (ı also don’t speak arabic) and on my country ı do have my own problems too, so ımma just let them out because ı do not want to keep these stuff ın my mind anymore; -Womens are being abused and being killed, and ı’ve had enough of this like the next thing ı am gonna say, when schools were opened, before ı went to school ı watched news and like EVERYDAY, there was women deaths being talked about, ıt’s been like years and yet my country didn’t found a solution for this..

-Child deaths, this ıs also thing, not only girls but also boys, ı also had enough of this and espacilly the people come to my country from syria, like what was their fault? Coming to our country?? We welcomed them ın while the other countrys didn’t! And you kill their kids, this also a thing that needs to be solved ın my country. -Syria, ı am gonna say nothing to this cause ı had friends from there, and ı don’t hate them, exept for one cause she was acting sassy and all. (Well, let’s do a little ıntrudoction on roleplay mode xD) I am Soldier Piggy, ı am character that shows ın the outpost map on Roblox Piggy, ıf ı am gonna attack you ı have to get out from an underground hole (Idk the name of ıt :’D) and ı am scared of Zizzy she killed other Soldiers there ıs only three left, and ı am friends with them, oh, there ıs also Torcher! He ıs the Piggy of the outpost map, he ıs also my friend like the other three soldiers. (Now the normal one) I am @painter-shadowpack as you know, since we are friends, lol. And ı am just a person doing stuff on here :’D, ı legit started to draw every day, ı am ınto DDLC, Sonic, FNAF, Gacha Life and Roblox Piggy. I suck at playing piggy but oh well! ı like the outpost map as heck but ı am also the first one who usually gets killed. And ı watch Minecraft FNAF roleplays cause ı have nothing to do on my life, ıf there was Piggy ones ı would watch them too, lol.  “How has your day been?”

My day has been good, my sibling came ın my room 3 times so ıt’s very nice, nothing different.

The Wolfpack AU

You’ve heard of Human AUs and Big Cat AUs and Mafia AUs, now get ready for the WolfPack AU!

So basically it’s warriors, but with wolves. There are four packs (ThunderPack, RiverPack, ShadowPack and WindPack) + the great SpiritPack, who guides and watches over the Packs. 

Same basic plotline as the first arc, but with obvious differences. A sinister threat is rising within and plans to destroy the forest starting with ThunderPack, but ThunderPack is blind to the threat.

That’s where Sparky the Siberian husky comes into the picture. Sparky comes from a long line of champion sled dogs, and is destined to be a great lead dog like his mother before him, but he has no desire to pull a sled; instead, he stares into the forest and dreams of running with the ferocious wolves. At night he lies awake and listens to their haunting howls. 

One night the alpha and the healer of ThunderPack are given a sign; a smoking tree, struck by lightning: “as the storm rages on, smoke will fill the sky”. 

Neither understand the sign; in the Canadian wilderness, smoke is dangerous; smoke is a sign of twolegs. 

The healer reminds her alpha of a curious husky pup that the patrols mentioned just the other day. She brushed the news off because no dog is foolish enough to approach the Packs, but perhaps she should investigate. Smoke is a sign of Twolegs, after all. 

The alpha refuses. Twolegs stole her pups. She will not visit their territory and risk her life -- nor anyone elses’ -- over a dumb dog.

The healer has a duty to her alpha, but also to her SpiritPack. That night, she sneaks away to dig a hole through the sled-dogs fence, and then waits. Surely enough, the pup takes his chance and crawls underneath the fence--

Only to come face to face with the healer of ThunderPack. 

She is magnificent. She is no dog, she pulls no sleds, she works for no Twoleg; this is a wolf. Sparky knows he should beg her to spare him, but he can only stare at her in awe. 

She explains her presence: one of the Pack’s pups has been stolen by the Twolegs, and after many fruitless searches she believes they are gone; she is looking for someone to replace that wolf. 

She asks him if he’s interested. 

“It won’t be easy,” the alpha warns him. “And the Pack will not accept you easily. You may go to sleep with an empty belly, with scars from battle, but you will have what no Twoleg can give you: honor.”

She’s wasting her breath. Sparky has dreamed about this impossible moment since he heard his first howl.

The Troublesome Wolf

Chapter 1: The Pack of the Shadows

Shadowpack was a large clan that resided in the far parts of the woods they are led by the head Alpha, Marku. Marku was a large, slim and handsome black and grey wolf with Amethyst colored eyes he held a very special ability that none of the other pack members knew about.

he could take the form of a human at any time and any place, except around his pack for if the other wolves found out, he would surely be in a heap of trouble.

Marku is a rebel, he can sometimes get himself into a lot of trouble, he wasn't always himself when he was just a wolf pup but now that he's become Shadowpack's new alpha he's learned how to control the things he does.

At this time, Marku was holding a ceremony for the new Beta and Omega of the pack which are the pack's two strongest wolves, Shiro: the grey and white wolf with blue eyes

and a rouge female as beta who joined the pack many years ago, her name is Ruby she is a tall large wolf like Marku, but her colors are full white with unusual light blue tints in her fur , with green eyes.

"Shiro, it has been at least 12 moons already since our last Omega passed away, i trust you to take his place with pride, i also put my trust in you to protect the pack from harm, if you are to use any of this against me or the pack you will be exiled from these parts of the woods for good am i making myself clear!"  

"Yes, Marku."

"Ruby, many years ago today, you joined shadowpack leaving your cruel ways behind im pleased to make you our next Beta, i trust you will have pride with this position and protect the pack at all cost, if you are to use this against the pack or myself you will be exiled am i making myself clear?"

"Yes, Marku."

October 28th - The Phantom Stranger

There are many different and conflicting stories regarding the origins of the mystical entity known only as The Phantom Stranger. One suggest the magical being is an alien from different dimension; another posits that he is Judas from the Bible, cursed with immortality and wondering the earth attempting to make amends for his betrayal of Christ. Whatever the case may be, The Phantom Stranger possesses vast magical abilities on par with any mystical force in the DC Universe. 

In his early appearances, The Phantom Stranger would expose supernatural events as hoaxes, saving many victims in the process. He would go on to be the begrudging companion of the skeptical Dr. Thirteen who went to great lengths to try to expose The Stranger as a fraud. Later The Stranger would aide Batman on a number of occasions. He also assisted the Justice League, earning honorary membership on the team. He was a member of the so-called Trench Coat Brigade, helping young Tim Hunter in understanding his role in the magical universe. 

The Phantom Stranger has additionally assisted the Shadowpack, The Sentinels of Magic and Justice League Dark. 

A version of The Phantom Stranger appeared in the television series Swamp Thing portrayed by actor Macon Blair. The magical hero first appeared in the pages of The Phantom Stranger #1 (1952).

Thunderpack camp. With its forested and bramble-heavy territory, short haired dogs are common in this pack, with hunting dogs and scent hounds being especially common. However, since Thunderpack is also closest to the Twoleg place, it isn’t surprising for other kinds of dogs to find their way there from the neighborhoods. While they aren’t quite as open to rogues and pets as Shadowpack, they always value warriors who are dedicated and loyal to their pack.

Storm’s story started in Shadowpack, a very corrupt and broken pack. His mother died when he was young and his father didn’t like him very much. (animatic to that here). Moss was Storm’s only friend and crush, which led to a lot of awkward tension because Moss had a mate named Rain. After a while, Rain and Moss broke up, and Storm was accused of breaking pack law and exiled. This was all planned by Rain as a sick revenge plan. But it backfires horribly when Moss leaves with Storm. Once they both leave, they confess to each other how they feel and become official mates 2 months later. (fic I wrote a while ago here)

While they try to find a place to stay, they come across four pups after a run-in with a fox. They end up taking the four pups in, Thunder, Daniel, Redd, and Eddie. And after they grow up more, they start taking more wolves into the pack.

Two of these new wolves become Thunder’s and Redd’s mates. Thunder’s sons were born first, Dune and Echo. Since they were the first grandsons of Storm, they were VERY spoiled. ESPECIALLY ECHO. Echo was very aggressive when he didn’t get his way and held grudges EASILY. When he was rejected by his childhood crush, he was even MORE snappy to his family. 

Soon came Redd’s pups, Toby and Typhoon. Typhoon was his firstborn daughter and Toby was born with hard of hearing. This lead to Storm giving him more training sessions to help him out with fighting and hunting, shaping Toby up to be a good fighter and hunter. Now, Echo DID NOT like this at all. He was so used to being in the spotlight, and he definitely didn’t like seeing his younger cousin hogging all of Storm’s attention. 

One early morning, Storm took Toby out for training. While watching Toby practice, Storm was seated at the edge of the clearing where Echo was waiting to ambush him. When Echo jumped out, he effectively was able to kill off his grandfather, causing Toby to wail out in alarm and the pack was called to the area. Echo flees the scene before they get there, Moss was heartbroken over his mate’s death and Storm’s Successor, Arctic, sends out a search party to find Storm’s murderer. 

The sunshine art piece takes place when all the wolves are back at camp after Storm’s death, and Toby tells everyone that Echo killed him. This causes the pack to go into shock, and Echo jumps Toby to keep him quiet. The two grandsons fight violently, both aiming to kill and injure one another. In the end, Echo is banished by Arctic, the new leader. And Storm’s pack is named Stormpack after the death of their first leader. That’s when Gen 3 starts.
