I really liked how Sexify handled the Monika and Maks relationship (spoilers).

They struck the right balance of letting the audience see them explore their connection, without forcing them into a relationship that wouldnt have fit them. It also set Monika up to have a more healthy relationship next season. Its not my typical tv relationship preference but I like that it was just a normal, amicable relationship that ends because it just isn't right but there is still a lot of affection and respect.

On episode 6 of Netflix "Sexify." I really like it! It's a bit silly but I like that it's Polish and feels very Not American. The soundtrack is also very distinctive, and all the POV protagonists are women. Some of the execution feels messy or awkward or over the top but I like what it's trying to do.

Also probably going to start the second season of Russian Doll soon.

So I’m not a writer, but I just had this idea from watching the show Sexify on Netflix, and I haven’t read a fic like this so apologies if this is already out there. I’m thinking artist reader who’s taking an art class and Eddie is the nude model. Like he’s doing it for extra cash or something. And session after the session the tension is just so palpable between the two. But then it also made me think of it the other way around. Like in the titanic. Eddie’s the artist and his crush asks him to do a nude portrait of them. Like he would be losing his mind while trying to stay extremely professional. If there are fics like this, help a girl out 🥹

On Netflix: Lupin is a french show about a man who pulls great heists, Derry Girls is an irish show about a group of teenagers in Derry in the 90s, Peaky Blinders is a gangster show set in Birmingham in the 1920s, 1899 is a multilingual sci-fi show set on a boat in 1899, The Good Place is a show about the afterlife, Brooklyn 99 is a wacky cop show, The Umbrella Academy is a show about people born with powers and adopted by a mean old man who trains them to save the world, The Queen's Gambit is a limited series about a chess player, Black Mirror is a show full of one-shot stories dystopian and sci-fi, Bandersnatch is related to Black Mirror it's a show where you tell the mc what to do, Sexify is a polish show about three women creating an app to improve female orgasm, The Haunting of Hill House is a horror show (light on horror and jump scares) about a family who lived in a haunted house when they were younger, also the Haunting of Bly Manor and Midnight Mass. The sequel of Knives Out is okay, you should give it a try if you enjoyed the first film. I found it good, it's about 150% more gay so it helps stomach Kate Hudson's performance. I recently watched My Father's Dragon (animation) the Ballad of Buster Scruggs and I really enjoyed those. And this one is on D+ but Only Murders in the Building is great fun.
